Mental Information
Personality: Sara is a very stubborn person. Above all else, her stubbornness shows through in almost everything she does. It is both a good thing, as she will stick to any decision right till the end, and a bad thing, as it often gets her into situations most others would avoid. She is also very defiant. She has a lot of trouble following others orders, preferring to be a leader, rather then a follower. The idea of boundaries on her, and rules limiting her actions, frighten and enrage her. Her people skills are very bad, so she often avoids interaction with people as much as possible. It doesn't take a lot though to get to know her, if you can look past the fact that she is just simply unable to deal with people normally, or rather, has difficulty dealing with people. But she tries, and that's what matters. She isn't very loyal, but she is protective.
Sara has a strong sense of pride. Her pride means a lot to her, and she will defend it to the end. It is her belief in her pride that drives her to be the way she is. She has difficulty backing down from challenges, and considers any sign of her own personal weaknesses to be unacceptable. She is pretty much unable to bring herself to admit she is wrong, or that she is unable to do something, unless she is completely sure that she will not be looked down on because of it.
She has a very focused and open personality. She is practical and doesn’t care what others think of her, and will dress comfortably rather then classy, preferring to grab the first thing she can find on the floor. She is a good friend at heart, and she tries hard in everything she does. She is focused, and pays a great amount of attention to small details. She is a really bad liar though, and it often gets her into trouble. She is very focused and logical in a fight. She is very smart and good with math and numbers, so she is in charge of things like the finances. Sara also has an amazing soft spot for cute things... people that blush tend to catch her eye, and toys. Sara's kind of weird like that.
Sara has changed slightly since meeting Travis, whom she lives with. Since living with him, she has learned to deal with people much better, and has become a much happier and more optimistic person. She is now ok with interacting with those she knows, and even enjoys having fun and spending time with them, where as before, she was unable to even look people directly in the eye. She has become a much happier and fun person to be around, but she is still quite shy around people she doesn't know. She has come to develop two extremely different moods, which is beginning to get to the point of a multiple personality disorder. It is only recently that her other 'self' has begun to separate as its own unique identity.
On days when she is feeling good, calm, relaxed, she is borderline crazy, and a much happier person. She is slightly more open to meeting new people, and will even approach them herself if she finds them interesting. In this state, she is... for lack of a better word, girly. She takes risks FAR more easily, but is slightly more unstable, and easier to anger. She has more trouble backing down in this state then in the other. In this state, she is completely optimistic, and even bordering on death will try to look at the bright side. It is for this reason, she has become known as 'crazy Sara'. The other mood, is typical Sara. Quiet, shy, reserved, and self-conscious. This occurs when she is having a bad day. On these days, she even has trouble talking to those she is close to. This mood is very often due to stress, and her inability to deal with every day problems, hence the creation of a split personality.

Physical Information
Build: Sara has a very average build.
Defining Marks: Hand print burn scar on chest and right ankle and both thighs, various small scars on her arms, legs, and torso. Scars on her left knee from a surgery to put a plate in it.
Description: Sara is what would be described as average. She is not very short, but is not considered tall either. She is average in height for her weight and build. She is not overly thin, instead she has just the right amount of body fat that gives her an attractive and curvaceous body. She has a very soft, thin face, and her expression is often one of boredom, and inattention. Her smile though, can either beautiful and fun, or completely insane, depending on her mood. It's easy to tell when it's the latter. Her hair is long and wavy, going down to at least her lower back when wet, and is layered all over. It is often tied in a ponytail or bun, but she has left some hanging in the front. Her hair is a light brown and in color, with natural highlights of both colors. Her eyes are blue in color, but can often appear to be a nice blue green depending on the light. Her skin is very pale, but people would describe this is an attractive feature, as her skin is more a creamy white, then say, a walking bag of milk.
Apparel Information
Head Gear: Usually none, her hair is usually pulled back from her face in either a bun or a ponytail.
Shirts: She usually wears loose fitting t-shirts, and tank tops. It's rare to see her in anything formal and nice.
Pants: Usually either jeans or track pants. The jeans are always tight fitting and slightly to long, the track pants loose and long.
Shoes: Thin black flats.
Misc: She has a cross necklace that was given to her by her father, and she wears it constantly, even though she is not a practicing Catholic. She also wears a ring and bracelet on her right hand.
Fighting Information
Fighting Style: Freestyle
Years Practiced: 4 or 5 years
Description of style: Sara is very logical and focused in a fight, preferring to have a strategy, even a small one, in any fight. She has no specific fighting style. She instead just fights in whatever way the situation calls for. Freestyle. She is more of a grounded fighter, preferring to stay on the ground then do amazing tricks in the air, and tends to use her hands more then anything. Although, she will kick, or use other attacks, if the perfect opportunity presents itself. Sara has a lot of problems attacking people right off. She does the best in a fight when her opponent makes the first move, and she is able to counter attack. Her best areas of fighting are countering and defense. She is quick and logical, and able to pick up opponents moves quickly. Since her personality split, her fighting style has become less predictable and more cruel. She will do anything at all that needs to be done, and uses any items to her advantage.
Overall Strengths: Despite her appearance, her strength is pretty good, at least enough that she can hold her own in a fight, and she is quick and flexible because of her small form, although she would prefer to be taller. She is very analytical in a fight and is able to judge pretty well what is going to happen and have a counter. She uses her instincts a lot in fights, and it has so far worked to her advantage in the way that shes still alive at least.
Overall Weaknesses: Sara is a really bad liar, and tends to hesitate when attacking, giving her opponent the upper hand. She will not fight unless provoked, but if she is having a bad day she has the terrible tendancy to get herself into fights that she can't win. Most of the time, she gets herself into fights over her sense of "pride".
History Information
History: Sara was born and raised in Canada, her mothers family having lived in Newfoundland for generations. Little is known of the fathers family. It was a large, tight-knit family, the type where everyone loved each other and was expected to act like every cousin was a sibling. She grew up in an average home, and had an average family life. Well maybe a little better then average. She grew up with money. Not an amazing amount, but enough that she never had to go without. Sara’s father was a devoted Catholic, and he never drank, and never raised his voice or hand to either her or her mother. He made more then enough money as a technician for a transportation company to support his little family. It paid well. Her mother worked part time at a small, privately owned retail store. Her mother and father loved each other deeply, and wished to have a child together, one that they could raise to complete their small family and add to the overall larger family. Sara’s mother became pregnant immediately, and gave birth 9 months later to a healthy baby girl.
From the time Sara was born it was obvious that she was going to be a problem child. She was a fussy baby, and she cried constantly. When she could talk and walk, she was demanding, stubborn, and always willing to fight over the smallest things if she believed that she was being cheated out of a treat, or that she was in the right. This was a trait that would stay with her for years to come. School was difficult for her. She did not like being in the company of so many other people, and seemed to be developing a social phobia of sorts. The upside was that her grades were impeccable, and she excelled in the maths and sciences. She had a natural gift for problem solving and analyzing data. Her parents took her to Church every Sunday, and she was involved in the extra curricular activities they organized. Sara felt that her parents were forcing their beliefs on her and rebelled. She could not bring herself to believe what they did, and eventually, refused to continue going.
Her parents loved her despite the constant phone calls from the Church and the school about her behavior and lack of respect for those in authority, and accepted Sara as she was. They had no need to change her as she wasn’t doing anything terribly wrong. They continued to raise her with a soft hand, trusting that she would learn to make the right decisions on her own. When Sara was 14 and began getting into more and more fights, and the police began becoming involved, her parents finally agreed that something needed to be done. They began to discipline her more, and set stricter rules. They told her it was because they loved her. She told them to blow it. When she turned 16, her parents decided that Sara would benefit going to the school they had heard of in America that claimed they could help any problem child. She gained dual citizenship after meeting the criteria of having direct blood related family that were American citizens and moved in with an uncle a few months later. He was rarely ever home due to his work as a band manager. Essentially, she now lived on her own in his apartment. She was alright with that. She was happy here.
During her time at the school she met Katsuri. After agreeing to go with him for lunch, she drank something he offered her. The drink was laced with a drug known as the root. After only a few sips, the drug caused an addiction to any sort of endorphins and adrenaline. After experiencing withdrawal symptoms and several relapses where she took the root again, at the request of Travis, she went to detox. After examining the chemical composition of the root, it was revealed that she would forever be addicted to endorphins. But she could learn to control the cravings, and to live with them. After coming back from detox, her personality underwent a drastic change. She was almost split personality in the day to day changes of her mood.
But then things went wrong. An earth quake hit the city, her new home and school destroyed. Her uncle came home immediately, as soon as he heard, to find that his niece and her new boyfriend were living on the streets with no place to go. The apartment had been completely demolished. Sara and Travis had managed to scrounge up everything they could, and the uncle decided to move into a new place. He chose a place in another state where the new school was to be built. He bought a new apartment and enrolled her in the school, and also agreed to let Travis stay, as long as... Sara was good... Once they had moved into the new apartment, Sara took a trip back home to Canada to see her parents and returned to find the new school opened. After only a few months in the new home, Sara cheated on Travis. He left her, leaving her alone to stir in her moods and addictions alone. She has become depressed and desperate for contact with people.
A few weeks after Travis had left, Sara was kidnapped. She was taken hostage and trained for several days. She was woken up early, given food, given a day of training, and then sent to bed late. Slowly, they were breaking her mental barriers, and her training was becoming more and more dangerous. The longer it went on, the more violent things became, both in what they did to her, and what she was made to do.
The detail will not be given, for it is cruel and doesn't not need to be read. What matters is how she was changed during the ordeal. And change she did. Sara became cruel and uncaring. She had no hope left in her, and simply became mindless in her tasks, carrying them out with ruthless intensity. She did things that until this point, were unimaginable to her. It broke her. Changed her. There was a good chance she would never speak of her experiences in that place ever again. Of the unspeakable acts she was made to perform. On the final day, she was given instructions.
Destroy them. Destroy the gangs and everyone in them...
"Ha... Easy." And then she was let go... She would be under constant watch, her activities monitored, but she could go home. She didn't really care. There was only one thing that seemed to make her feel anything. And it was the excitement of bringing down the gangs. Sara returned to 42 with the intent to complete her mission. She became reckless, paranoid, and stopped focusing on the goal. She simply sought to create chaos for those around her. And then, things went wrong. A series of events around her paranoia and a violent encounter with the school captain brought her back to her senses before she got herself into more trouble then she was already in. She cleaned her home finally, almost a year after the kidnapping, and tried to start her life over. She still has momentary lapses in sanity, especially when angered, but for now, she is calm... Mostly...
And then...
Sara, going back to 259. There's a challenge there, a fight challenge that I have to take up. I hope you understand I had to go right away....
wanna come with?
~Matrim~
"... Goddammit..." After Sara had destroyed many a locker to get her anger out over this new development, she left. Just packed up and moved back to where it all began. What else could she do? Didn't mean she wasn't going to kill him though when she got back.
Once she caught up with him, things went... a little crazy. After Matrim burned down Sara's apartment, she moved in with him and his son Shayne. Not long after, they began dating... Lightly in Sara's mind. And before she knew it, she was sporting two new burn marks on her thighs and was in love. Ya. How f'ed up is that?
Their first date was probably the most memorable thing that had ever happened to Sara. Matrim took her to a club. A fight club. Like a fighting tournament. Inside a club. And guess who won? That's right. Sara kicked Matrim's ASS. She came out victorious after beating several others and making it to the final round. Apparently though, she had beaten the wrong sort of person. One with mob connections. By the end of the night Sara had been shot twice, adding to her nice, growing collection of scars. In the end though, they lived. And as far as they were concerned, the trouble was over with.
It wasn't much longer before the world exploded in a million tiny pieces when Reira came back from the dead, handing over a new birth certificate for Shayne. The mother? Sara Quinn. " Oh boy...
It wasn't long after that, that Matrim proposed to her, and in a drunken act, the two were married at a small chapel. Like... A Las Vegas chapel, but... Not in Las Vegas. Not the type of wedding she had planned on having, but it was better then nothing. Now officially Sara Gallagher, mother of Shayne Gallagher, and proud owner of half Matrim's stuff, she was... Happy. Sara loved Matrim and his son and easily fit into her new life. She never got around to telling her parents the news, but she figured they wouldn't be to thrilled. No surprise there really, considering how religious they were.
After they were married, their life actually seemed pretty normal for a while. They went out sometimes, on dates, they stayed in and spent time with Shayne, played together. They trained and got stronger. Sara improved immensely and was happy. There were frequent bouts of her other side taking over though and it was beginning to take its toll on Sara. The event that ended up reigning in the crazy side of her was a shocker. Matrim named Sara a dragon. She became what she had sworn to destroy. Both sides of Sara's personalities seemed to accept this for what it was. The danger had passed, and she either accepted Matrim for who and what he was, or she left. She chose to stay, taking on the title of the Whirlwind dragon. Quite fitting with her qi and mental state. With no more reason to be crazy, that side of personality slept, acting more as a shield for Sara's fragile mind then anything else.
Things once more returned to normal. Or at least as normal as they could possibly get, considering who we're talking about here. For Sara, things were perfect. Until she started getting sick. It started with just being tired all the time, getting headaches and body aches. Her nerves were on edge, everything was changing. Somehow, she knew what it was before the morning sickness started. She got a pregnancy test. It was positive. With some quick calculations, she was only about 3 weeks. It took a lot of thinking, but she decided against telling Matrim, at least for the time being. She couldn't exactly say what she was scared of. It was more like, admitting to him what was going on would be admitting it to herself. And so she hid it. She gave up her title as Student Body President and gave up fighting. She told everyone she was moving on with her life and just not interested in that crap anymore. People seemed to accept it, and for that, she was thankful.
It wasn't long after, maybe about a month and half pregnant, that the first date she and Matrim went on came back to bite her in the ass. Carolyn, the young woman that Sara had let live that night, returned with a vengeance. She attacked Sara and Matrim, and Zeek and Tara, with "shadows", beings that became everything you wished you were. And she beat them. She conquered herself and came out swinging. The toll though, was heavy on Sara. Having killed messed with her mind. She secluded herself, and eventually...
(Has not yet happened)
She left Matrim, running away from her problems. Without telling him she was pregnant, she ran for it, going back home to her parents. Out of country, out of mind.
Her parents turned away from her, refusing to acknowledge her as their daughter. Pregnant, married, another kid back in the states, and look at her, covered in scars. With nowhere to go, Sara switched all her banks accounts so that she couldn't be found, and hid herself away in Chicago. She heard they were opening a school there, and she might be able to finish highschool before she had the baby. When the child was born, Sara had her high school diploma and she returned to tell Matrim about the child, to show him their baby girl.
