The great thing about schools was that though the people and the classes could be different, the cafeteria environment was always the same. Tables full of cliques of students, some bullies stealing students lunch money (Bitches deserved it.), and this new student, Ophelia, walked flawlessly through the crowd to the lunch line. Just as she grabbed her tray, one of the bullies finished with an underclassman, shoved the money in his greasy pocket and stepped up to her.
'Dude, gimme your lunch money and I won't have to hurt ya, small fry.'
Greasy said, nudging her in the shoulder. Phi froze, her icy blue gaze darting over to him.
"Don't touch me, dude."
She replied in a deadly even tone, wrinkling her nose ever so slightly at the sight of him. The thug just kinda laughed in his stupid sort of way.
"Why, you afraid of germs or summit, weirdo? Gimme yer money. Now."
(Summit? ..Really?)
"First off, no I am not afraid of germs. Am I disgusted by yours? Yes. Look at the state of your hands alone, revolting. Secondly, I have intentions for my lunch money, and there's no way in hell I'd give it to a blundering oaf like you. Bug off."
It seemed that the bully didn't quite like her even tone (most kids talked to him with a tremor in their voice), and just because he only bathed once a month did NOT make him revolting! Honestly! The stupid grin disappeared from his face, and he cracked his dirty knuckles, taking a step toward the new girl.
...before finding himself careening into the nearest table, breaking it cleanly in half as he, table, and tray lunches imploded into a heap on the ground.
"I said don't touch me. Listen next time."
She sneered at the mess, grabbing her tray and making her way down the lunch line.

Gabriel stood a bit tired as his aging eyes glazed past the Monday special being slopped out amongst the students. Turkey and Roast beef, cafeteria style how fitting. His relaxed stance didn't waver as the bullies pressed past him. It would be some time before he actually re-entered the scene of hero because for now he was recovering from his woulds. He leaned up against the railing without a second glance at the now slowly moving line.
Gabriel was a tall senior, long black pants covered his legs and a form fitting jacket on the top kept him looking a bit tougher than he had been upon his first arrival to this school. There'd been bullies there too, but once more they certainly didn't drop to this low of a bar. He went along in line scooping up his turkey sandwich and a salad and turned to see one of the bullies pick a fight on a much smaller woman.
Gabriel's cheeks flushed with a certain rage as he made a step forward only to see she'd handled it herself. A relaxed smile replaced his fine cut features as he gave a respectable nod.
"Nice work... Glad I didn't have to jump in there..." He remarked walking at a calm pace towards te nearest table finding it instantly empty.

A couple people had piqued interest when the bully had started in on Ophelia. Most of those few had simply wanted to see how the new girl would react to one of the prominent assholes in the school. Would she cower and give him her money? Would she pick and fight? Get her ass handed to her?
Sorry to say they were disappointed.
"Nice work... Glad I didn't have to jump in there..."
Ice blue eyes glanced over at a dark haired boy who was about a hand taller than her. His words made her quirk an eyebrow ever so slightly, but nothing more than a flick from her eyes indicated that she had even heard him, rather she focused overly intently on the (Shit, garbage, foul) food that the cafeteria ladies offered them today.
"Hm, yes. I couldn't have handled it myself."
Her tone was even, almost bored as she grabbed a small carton of milk from the cooler, and added it to her tray. Nothing irritating her more (besides dipshits) than guys who thought that every female they saw was a damsel in distress. It was incredibly unnecessary.

Gabriel bit down on the inside of his cheek feeling rather stupid for having condescended to her. Of course he didn't always think that it was merely the premise that directed him. As for acting sooner if he had he would have been in much deeper shit. Gabriel tried flashing an apologetic smile but came up blank only letting himself show the ordinary bored expression that was placated on his features.
"Thats... Not what I meant to say." He reacted trying to catch the 'Damsel's' Attention.
He walked at her side neglecting to eat his own meal and rather give her the respect she should have earned without having to fight.
"I only intended that I shouldn't have allowed for that bullying to go on any longer..." he thought quickly affirming his point, "But then again anything I say now will only dig me into a deeper hole won't it... Miss?

Clearly the boys words reached his own ears as they reached hers. Some people had the misfortune of speaking before thinking, and hey, we were all human weren't we? Though humans are flawed, messy, panicky, twisted, terrible creatures.
"Thats... Not what I meant to say."
(Yeah okay, hero boy.)
Paying for her lunch with the money the bully failed to take from her, Ophelia made for a mostly empty table, finding a seat to her own. She set her tray down, though before she had a chance to sit down and eat, the boy had come up to her side...and was speaking again. A small vein pulsed at her temple.
"You're right, it will."
She agreed, if he was looking for a name, he wasn't going to get it. The new girl sat down and picked up her fork. Her lunch tray looked (like it belonged in the sewer) rather unappetizing, and she simply stared it down, as if she could change it into a pizza and wings with the will of her mind.

No name? Gabriel gave her a stern look quickly enough trying to understand her based off of the judge a book by it's cover theory but there seemed to be no tell-tale signs. No daddy issues, no obsessive compulsions or fetishes in all regards the woman before him looked nothing beyond the norm. He took a seat across from her placing the fork conveniently into the bowl of salad and gave her a stern stare before forgetting the matter.
Stare down begin!
The disrespect for common curtesy wasn't a stand out quality in her nature as he supposed but then again who at this school didn't have their moments? If it was going to be that way then he'd play her little game, little did she know he always played...And always won.

Well, it looked like she wasn't going to be getting rid of this little leach so easily, as he sat down across from her. Her ice blue eyes flicked up briefly at him as he stuck his fork in his salad and stared blatantly at her.
...seriously? (Hahaha..)
It looked like Hero boy was a into games, trying to break her into what, bending to him? Giving him her name? Falling into his arms? The thing about games was that in order to play them...you had to be willing to participate.
Ophelia kept her gaze down at her tray, pushing the processed meat around on her tray. Her downward expression wasn't one of submission, no. Her posture was confident enough, her expression was bored. If one didn't know better, you'd think she was ignoring him.

So now she was ignoring him. To anyone else it could be considered something of a cute imitation. But Gabriel didn't like being ignored all too much, not in the scene where he was trying to be at the slightest bit respectful. He shrugged it off recognizing that he was thinking on the tpic too much, but that was simply him, he thought too much. He looked down at his bowel and began working at it. He had a feeling after the first moments that he was going to loose this little ignoring competition. Loosing wasn't in his nature and it would irk at him soon enough ater breaking the steady silence.
"So? Got a fighter in you I see..." Gabriel questioned inquizitivly fearing whatever answer she gave would be a remark of sarcasm or null intentions.

Giving up on his little staring contest, the hero boy fell silent for a moment. Just when she thought that perhaps he would take his leave, he spoke up. An obvious observation (do the two words derive from the same root? Obvious means something slap-you-in-the-face apparent, and observation is the act of noticing such things, hm..)
Oh, right. Boy.
"What gave you that idea."
A...sort of question. Her tone lacked the distinct upturn at the end to indicate a question, but the word order was there. It was a half effort at best, but damn that school lunch looked good and it required all of her attention. Phi grabbed her milk and opened it, drinking from the little carton rather than going to grab a straw.

The dull situation seemed to be turning out to be nothing more than a bunch of questions replied with the same sarcastic tone that utterly bored Gabriel. If he hadn't been ODing on fighting at the current moment he'd probably call her out. That ans the fact that he didn't find it morally ethical to beat a woman.... Ha, so it was alright for him to threaten a pregnant woman's life and the lives of an entire school but not one girl in highschool from getting a few bruises. He made a fake grin.
"Well it could be the way you sent that man sprawling across the room...." Gabriel looked away with confidence now finding a bit more courage in himself than before.
"or just the fact that you have that 'Fuck the world' Attitude about you..." Gabriel looked out of the corner of his eye to find a reaction. Hoping somehow to light a flame under her ass.

Again, he was simply stating what she already knew. What, was she comatose when she threw the boy across the room? No. Raising her shoulders, Phi pushed her tray away (inadvertantly knocking his), slouching in her chair.
"I wasn't aware my life had a play-by-play commentator. I mean, it's flattering I suppose.."
She shook her head, laughing to herself. Her laugh had a bit of a mad edge to it, and she stretched her arms over her head. A student walked by with their tray, their shoulder running into her arms accidentally. Hands closed over the unfortunate girl's wrist, and she stepped out from her seat with her left foot, leaning back to set her momentum she yanked forward and to the left where her leg was, flipping the student (and her lunch) onto the ground in a fluid motion. She then stood up, pushing her chair back with enough force for it to collide with the downed student, flipping and skidding across the cafeteria floor.
"Well, I'm full."
She stated cheerfully, walking away like nothing had happened.

Gabriel somewhat looked at her with a sense of confusion, a pain in the ass of a person to come to terms with. Not the talking type merely an action person, much like his own personna but never all too fond of mixing so of course when the trays clashed there had to be a conflict.
"Well it was the intention, though considering you're not the typpe to open up after a bit of flattery, nor small talk I guess I'll be led to make my own assumtions." Gabriel said simply as she knocked about the boy behind her.
"I guess you're simply the bitch... I mean curious it would seem but you're not all too polite, nor carimg, I'd say you do most things off of first thought and you're okay with that in a depressing way."
Gabriel didn't care as much as he had whenfirst approaching her, getting nowhere led to conflict and conflict led somewhere he could deal with things. Emotions had a play in that, his own and most importantly other people.

[ooc: Sorry for the delay, sweet cheeks <3]
What, was he trying to get to her or something? Play the psychiatrist, and she was the one on the couch talking about her daddy issues and how she wasn't hugged enough? Or too much? Black heeled mary-janes stopped on the cafeteria floor, slowly turning around to face the hero-psychiatrist boy.
You know, if he wasn't so cute, she probably would have crushed his toes with her heel.
Aqua hues widened, and her mouth turned into a small 'o.'
"Me? A bitch? ...that hurt."
She blinked, her eyes glistening. She placed a hand to her chest, staring at him intensely. Your move, pretty boy.

Gabriel leaned back in his seat kicking up his feet atop the table in a relaxed sense. Finally he'd gotten some attention, quite the reaction in fact. Didn't matter if it was negetive or not it was merely the dilemma of it. With attention one held power and Gabriel was not clear from those chain like rules.
"I'm sure, though I'm sure you've heard worse I know I have." Gabriel chuckled as he picked an apple off his tray rubbing it against his shoulder before gingerly taking a bite.
"So pretty eyes whats got you so uptight?" Gabriel began not intending to degrade this time merely dance around his constant changes. Keep on the offensive and one never has to lose a battle.

"I'm sure, though I'm sure you've heard worse I know I have."
Teh...this is too easy..
Pressing her lips together, she shook her head, eyes wide still wide. Slowly, she made her way back to the table, collapsing into her chair with her arms resting on the table. She ran a hand through her disheveled dark hair.
"You...you see.."
Phi blinked those pretty eyes, glancing at the table before looking up to him, her voice trembling ever so slightly.
"I'm just so...misunderstood."
She sighed. Haha, misunderstood. That was one way of putting it..
