Emily's flat was small, so just one knock was enough to catch her attention. The black-haired girl walked over, and opened the door with a smile on her face. "This is my old apartment." She said, opening the door enough for Linda to step inside. "Come in, if you're hungry I have tea and some food I can warm up."
Once Linda came in, Emily would lock the door and head out to close the windows. The flat was mostly sound-proof at this state, so there was no fear of being overheard. Besides, who would bother trying to when this place is around 7 floors up out of ten floors?
Very inconvenient, for anyone who tried.
"What is it you wanted to talk to me about, Lin?"

Linda smiled at Emily as she greeted her and invited her in. So hospitable, so warm... qualities Linda wished she had.
"Well thanks Em." Linda thanked her as she walked into her apartment. She looked around, noticing that nothing was familiar to her... but then again, this was the first time she had ever been in Emily's apartment before. She took a seat at the nearest available chair, and sighed.
"Remember earlier, how I told you I was hunting dragons...? Well.. I wasn't kidding." She paused looking up at Emily, hoping she would understand that this was not easy for Linda.
"I have identified far too many of what I used to call brethren around here, and I think I might be the only one who can really stop them anymore."

"Mhm." Emily said, walking to the electric kettle to see if the water had started to boil. Well, it was already close to boiling and that's what Emily needed actually. She shut it off and began to transfer it to a ceramic tea kettle (that had green tea powder inside) as Linda began to talk.
"Remember earlier, how I told you I was hunting dragons...? Well.. I wasn't kidding. I have identified far too many of what I used to call brethren around here, and I think I might be the only one who can really stop them anymore."
Emily put down the half-empty kettle and brought the ceramic kettle of tea onto the table and sat on the chair parallel to Linda's own. It was interesting how a dragon would desire to hunt down her own kind, and though Emily could think up of a few reasons, Emily wasn't going to assume.
"Why would you hunt them down?" She said, "If it's of any case, I don't believe I'm up to par with the ability some dragons have, but besides you, I guess I've fought Chrynos and Leon. I almost won against Leon but... "
Yeah, but that guy had seals and all that stuff. He was quite beefed enough in the sense that it would take more than what Emily had now to be a challenge once Leon is at full strength.
She just needed more stamina, much more stamina...
If there was a way.
But anyways, Emily was okay with hunting down the dragons as it definitely had nothing that would do against Miliita. Right now, Emily was more concerned with knowing why Linda thought of doing this.
Was there a new dragon? or maybe the old dragons got into a misunderstanding and decided to go against each other?
There was a lot of things to be considered, and Emily wasn't about to claim that she was going to be helping Linda at this point.

"If it's of any case, I don't believe I'm up to par with the ability some dragons have, but besides you, I guess I've fought Chrynos and Leon. I almost won against Leon but... "
Linda slightly shook her head.
"Emily I would never expect you to help me, especially given that my reasoning has not fully been explained to you." She leaned back in the chair, "Think about it Em... Who are the most dangerous and powerful students of 42? The Dragons. When have you seen them just walk the halls like normal people? They don't, they can't and I am beginning to understand that now it is my duty to rid 42 of them forever."
She ran her hands over one another, then pulled off her right glove. There was something Emily needed to understand. She raised her hand up, exposing the tattooed backside of her hand.
"The Dragon's were a result of constant wars at my old school PHS#552. This insignia is that of the Collosai, a gang I formerly led and ruled with. There were two other Dragons that stood with me as the gang leaders... Ark Sigismund the Thunder Dragon, and Faust the Dark Dragon." Linda put her hand down, continuing her story.
"Leon Sudeki was a high ranking member of the opposing gang, named Reign of Blood and we had countless fights." She looked Emily dead in the eyes while still laying back in her chair. "When the second war between the gangs had ended, 552 was in ruins and even the Pillar system was unable to qualm our conflict as both sides quickly dispatched it. We all had grown so tired of following old troublesome laws that we finally just stopped. That was when The Dragon's, as a unified group, rose to power. The same dragons that now plague 42... I can't help but feel that it is my responsibility to stop my former brethren, but their influence has grown much to strong here for me to do alone. So now you can assume that I am asking for your help. I'll admit I was one of them... and what I did to you that one day was uncalled for and humiliating. I know I can't expect you to help, but I would like to at least ask you to help me keep something like that from ever happening to someone again."
Hopefully she would understand. Linda had changed, or at least was now able to direct her destructive existence toward something negative, in the light that she may still do some good.
This is part of the oath I took up when I took that stupid title, that rightly belonged to you Em. I will protect the school, by any means necessary.

It was an interesting twist of fate how Emily brought home a person who had brought her down as 259's student captain; one who was no less a dragon. Although, Emily was never really choosy with the people she trusted and believed in; though Emily still had some reservations, Emily welcomed the dragon into her home and figured she was worth a listen to. Maybe if the rationale was right she could lend a hand.
Surely, "Unfettered" wouldn't mind.
Or at least, hopefully.
"Emily I would never expect you to help me, especially given that my reasoning has not fully been explained to you. Think about it Em... Who are the most dangerous and powerful students of 42? The Dragons. When have you seen them just walk the halls like normal people? They don't, they can't and I am beginning to understand that now it is my duty to rid 42 of them forever."
Reality check though, this wasn't 42. This was 259 we were talking about; but yes, this was still Dragon Territory. Emily partially swore that if this was the medieval era there would be a sign near 259 that said "Here be dragons".
Funny, and quite ironic if you looked at it from that sort of perspective.
Linda then ungloved one hand to expose the tattoo underneath. The black-haired female knew little of what happened outside of 259 and 42; but she had heard of many stories of the other schools some transfers had gone though: 552, Paragon, and several others that her mind couldn't lash out at the moment. Linda began to shower her with information about the dragons: their history. It had slightly made sense to the young filipina now, albeit had a bit of understanding to the Bone dragon in front of her.
Although, why "Dragons"?
"I'll admit I was one of them... and what I did to you that one day was uncalled for and humiliating. I know I can't expect you to help, but I would like to at least ask you to help me keep something like that from ever happening to someone again. This is part of the oath I took up when I took that stupid title, that rightly belonged to you Em. I will protect the school, by any means necessary.
"Rightly belonged to her"?
Emily wouldn't understand where that came from as she understood very well the circumstances that made her Student Captain before. It was David's own unwillingness, plus Mitsuki's disappearance. Nevertheless, Emily smiled at Linda.
"I don't think I have any reason to not help you. However, please understand." She said, pouring some tea onto several cups. "My loyalty lies on a person I look up to."
The girl put the teapot down, as she continued further. She had a small smile across her face as she stared at the green liquid and the small traces of steam that was rising up from it. "I will help you with this, Linda. But, answer me this:"
She looked up, looking at the dragon at the eye. "Does this mean you would give up your title as Dragon?"
In Emily's mind, wouldn't keeping it be a bit hypocritical?
That's at least a minor detail that Emily's mind couldn't pull out. Maybe Linda could shed some light on that.

"Does this mean you would give up your title as Dragon?"
... "Yes. I would never want to be called by any such name... Ever again. I want nothing to do with those mythical creatures or any spawn of them that may come in the future." She was smiling, she was willing to throw that stupid title away. It only brought with it misunderstanding and way too many fights. Every student automatically assumed that she was always some bitch at the mere mention of her title. Dropping it would be a new leaf to turn over in life, a new path to follow.
"Emily, can you imagine what 259's campus would be like without 'Dragons' flipping out every few weeks and killing masses of students? We might even be able to get this school in the safe zone for a while." She rolled her eyes. "Imagine that... 259, a safe campus." @_@

Ah, so Emily supposed that would be one less dragon to more or less fight sometime in her life. As far as Emily's memory could go, it was from a while ago when she could remember that Militia didn't really like the dragons (or the School Hierarchy, even).
There was little else to be said, really.
"Emily, can you imagine what 259's campus would be like without 'Dragons' flipping out every few weeks and killing masses of students? We might even be able to get this school in the safe zone for a while. Imagine that... 259, a safe campus."
Emily had a little crooked grin on her face. More or less, the filipina couldn't really imaging what a "safe" 259 (or any school with corporal punishment and the pillar system for the matter) would be like. But then again, that would mean they would be akin to the school she had once in Japan, but of course, there was little support for these schools.
It was ironic, really.
"I don't believe there's a minute possibility of that, Linda." She said, slightly shrugging. "Dragons or no dragons, there will also be gangs and violent students; not to mention AWOL faculty." Though, Emily was only speaking the truth. The greatest problem here was the system; that dreaded System that encouraged the development of a violence dependent society.
Dependent in the sense that even out of High school, these students would be fighting still for invaluable titles and pathetic territories. Whereas the real world lay somewhere far beyond material things - where the future really was.
