Okay so, i haven't talked to admin about it, or to Mikey, but i was thinking of throwing up a tournament. Now, here would be the rules.
You wouldn't use the Intelligence= exp for this. You only get exp at the end of the tourney, and that will be based on how far you got and how well you performed.
Reward? Who needs one. I might talk with mikey about a reward, but in all honesty, who doesnt wanna just kick some serious ass? Besides, if you win, maybe we could slap your name up in the news Fader as the current Tournament Champion.
Okay, BIG RULE HERE- i'll be watching this tourney, as would mikey and John i presume. I personally believe the tourney should last for one-two weeks TOPS. Like, not a month, not two months. PREFERABLY two weeks, two-four days per round, depending on the amount of people. IT WILL TAKE ACTIVITY! SO KEEP IT UP DAILY! Fights may not be finished, and thats fine. We'll look it over and see who wrote the best, who fought the best, and judge accordingly.
IT WILL BE WITH STATS, BUT ITEMLESS!
Now, i wont be participating ( i'll be judging, DUH!). the reason i want it itemless, is so it can be as fair as possible. Every character will fight shirtless and it sweatpants. NO items. This, i hope, will cause some members who have lower stats to join in on the fun. Hell, if its a good idea, me and the other staff can just pick fighters who are realy strong, and have them agree to fight itemless.
ALSO
To make the layout as fair as possible, i'm going to put everyones name in a hat and draw them out via webcam, then slip the link to the vid in here. Some people may remember this idea popping up in Hircine- i wont lie, its where i got it from. So everyone can see and hate on my ugly mug while i flash who will be facing who in the tournament. I think this will get some excitement up.
Now, who thinks this is a good idea and would want to participate? Again, i havn't brought this up to other staff, so they can stick thier questions or comments in here. Hell, they may say no, we can't do it, but i personally would like to see that shit go down.
IF YOUR GOING TO BE LEAVNG OR INACTIVE:
Heres a big issues. People don't post. If you don't post, you get disqualified. We want to stick to the time limit, not drag it on like every other tournament in the historyof Xin. If you think you might be gone or unable to post, don't join ^_^
If there are enough peope and the other staff like it (This might get a shut down NO from the other staff, idk), i'll try and get something up this week for it.
