David smiled, placing his hands around her gently. she seemed so desperate for a person to hold, someone who actually cared. He knew what that felt like- he was there constantly. But he busied himself so much with helping the people of the school and trying hi best to keep everything in order that he lost himself in it. After she pulled away he let out a little chuckle.
"Well...i didn't expect this from a run in." He took a deep breath. "You just have to find a strength hun, and look into your own heart and see what kind of person you truly want to be. If you can't do that, you'll fall." He shrugged. "You can always pick yourself back up too, but you'll just fall again unless you truly learn to trust someone, and involve yourself emotionally and mentally with them."
He turned, his head snapping to attention as a man walked in... with a gun? David looked on, startled. The man pointed it at her.
"Slut- the world will be better with you gone."
He bulled the trigger, the only bullet he loaded into the chamber for that purpose blasting from the barrel, Davids Qi activating immediately. He half turned, stepping clean in front of it. The bullet would have struck her directly in the foreheard, instead slamming square into the middle of his abdomen, lodging into his stomach. He stumbled backwards, groaning. The man swore, pulling a knife from his belt and starting forward. David coughed blood onto the floor, falling to his knees as the man approached, the world beginning to darken.
Then anger took him.
As the man stepped in front of him, he punched the front of the guys kneecap, snapping it out backwards. As the guy fell, David grabbed his face, throwing his head toward the ground with a yell, the cement cracking around his skull.
The man didn't move again.
And David collapsed to his side, blood draining from his lips and stomach, the world fading to black.
OOC((Yeah, he's still alive.))
