Slowly Victor raised from his sleep, he blinked... once... twice, laying back down, resting into the soft folds beneath him. a slow thought crawled through his mind...
this isn't your bed, bro
Nodding to himself, victor agreed with his random thought, he felt something fall off of him, a shuffling of papers filled his ears and then a light thump. Victor opened his bleary eyes, the silence and still air suddenly through him off guard. he leaned his massive body up, feeling each of his muscles scream in protest. he reached up with his right hand scratching the back of his head, trying to get his bearings. he looked at the floor for a moment, seeing a book... great works of oscar wilde
cool, calm blue carpeting against oak towers... no not towers... bookshelves... lots of books, bindings of every color, a stern woman in the corner behind a large desk... right... library, totally forgot, this couch is so comfy...
couch right?
Victor looked under him at the green fibers overlapping to make the seat of the couch he was on... how had he fallen asleep in the school library?
oscar wilde? no Victor liked oscar... he was such a lovable asshole...
right, lets see...
Victor looked out of the window behind him, blinking uncertainly into the sun... had to be about... oh who is victor kidding he can't read the sun for the time... though the birds chirping sounded so nice, and relaxing... maybe thats how he had fallen asleep. Victor picked up Mr. Wilde's book and walked over to the bookshelves, lazily looking for were it belonged. as he dragged his feet across the carpet he smiled to himself, he really needed that nap. he looked between the bookshelves, finally finding a clock
12:55
oh good, the day wasn't over, he had just slept through fourth period and lunch, that was a nice surprise. Victor began to pick up his feet as the energy was being restored through his legs, through his body in general, his blue eyes began to glow a little brighter as his thoughts stopped spinning and centered themselves.
he walked out of the library, thanking the librarian and down a flight of stairs to the floor level, throwing open the door and getting right back into his victor swagger as he entered the quad with a giant smile and his notebook in hand. he pulled his pea coat close to him as a cool gust hit him, and looked at the trees as they where begining to grow bare.
suddenly a thought hit him. a short while ago he had claimed to be the Varsity captain... of course, no one had recognized this claim, except maybe Gabriel, and MAYBE MAYBE david had begun to when Gabriel came and f***ed it up...
alas, these things happen. Still Victor wanted to find the school captain, ask her opinion on whether or not he should be varsity captain...
hell, it'd be good to meet her in the first place, just to say hi. Victor was always looking for new friends. he decided if he did meet her he wouldn't bring it up... at least not the first time they met.
Victor continued down the quad, smile on his face and a bounce in his step, his arms swinging wide and his eyes full of good mood
he had really needed that nap
