Ah, his locker. It was a bent and ruined thing, a desolate peice of worn metal far different than it had been in days before. Previously filled with notes and threats, promises and strangely lewd musings, his locker now seemed as Empty as Gabriel Serans title (oh burn). Nah, he was just funnin'. He closed it, a small smile on his face. Today was the day his plan set into motion, the cherry on top, the whole ordeal behind the true surrendering of his title. See, Gabriel claimed David had been presumptuous in his giving away the title, but David honestly knew what it was about. Not a hard thing to fingure, since he knew gabe better than gabe knew gabe, He placed a hand in his pocket, and began to walk to his next class before coming upon a brawl, one of four he had seen today.
He kept his eyes straight ahead, walking by without even a cause for pause.
Many an individual had been rumbling and talking about what Blaze planned, about how he was going to take the title back, about who was going to come out on top.
What none of them expected?
That David Blaze would do absolutely nothing.
For the time being, anyway.
He wouldn't fight Gabriel, since Gabriel was the law now. He wouldnt defend other students, since Gabe had the Black Knights for that. why should he protect when Gabriel had everything so hard under control? He shook his head. People would think it hypocritical, that he was disobeying his own code by not continuing. It was true- he felt like he was betraying a part of himself, but somthing nagged him into not fighting, and that was the law itself. Before he was Captain, he broke the law by beating up those who broke it, and therefore caused a bad self image. No. Now he would simply let Gabriel go about his work, let him do as he would when he wanted to, and would watch his own plan crash down around his ears.
He looked at his watch.
Late for class. He sighed.
Meh, fuck it.
He went back to his locker and replaced the books, opting instead to go sit in the library and read for a small period of time before the school Day ended.
Strange, to sit and relax for once. Still, it wasn't unwelcome. He could think on Alexis- he wondered how she was doing, if she was with Gabe by now, or if things had already gone downhill there. He didn't know. Perhaps he would see her soon...still, he wouldn't help but wonder what was next to come. Gabriel, without someone to fight, would likely dictate the school, take over, place himself at its head due to his driving need for power and change. David popped open his book. Let him.
Things would change...soon enough.

There was amusement in this whole ordeal, as David was doing something with the purpose of going against his own morals... why? So he could show up Gabriel. If the boy did nothing to stop the weak from being destroyed at the hands of the strong.. well, then the whole regime would crumble and it would mean that trying to keep the old would no longer work. Katsuri knew this, he was blood thirsty, but he was no fool.. he knew damn well that the old regime was not going to work from the minute the title had been passed along. That is, unless Gabriel somehow pulled a miracle out of his ass. The first thing he needed to do though, was to get rid of the behemoth currently trailing mister David here.
When David faded into the library, the large man followed, slightly ducking his head to avoid striking the frame. Something was a little off, given that he never visited the library, he had his own extensive library at home, although never touched it as every book he owned was installed on a rather massive array of terabyte hard drives.
If David noticed the eight foot mountain of man coming his way, it would have made no difference if he spoke or not, as it seemed there were only a few other children in here, and most of them were sleeping, hell, even the librarian was dozing on her post.. with the fighting no one was too interested in academia. "Mm. The minds sit idle... its sickening really."
He spoke aloud, not to the point of yelling, but enough that the ex-pillar would have heard him. Those eyes shifted over to the man and he smiled slightly. "You know. A silent destruction, is a destruction either way.. even when a finger is not lifted, you are still causing a infant to cut its own throat." He should have understood what he was talking about.. especially given the conflict that had ensued when he gave up the title. Still. What did Katsuri care?

David looked up, and immediately his eyebrows drew down.
Katsuri Katashi.
He immediately took a powerful grip on his anger- not because of what was said, but because of what the man had done when last they spoke. Oh, don't mistake Davids reluctance to fight as fear- he did not fear this twisted perversion of strength. He, however, wouldn't tear this building apart just because one man had done wrong. No. He would catch Katsuri when he was off school grounds, and when he did, he would make him pay for what he had done to a defenseless female. He closed his book, taking a calming breath as he put his feet down, staring at this individual with a look of near challenge.
"Well, aren't you a man of many signals. First you tell me im a hypocrite for breaking the law and fighting on school grounds without authority, then you tell me that doing nothing is just as bad." He put the book down, coming to his feet so as not to be caught off gaurd- he saw how the man moved, and since Davids Qi was repressed, he knew there was no chance of him catching up...currently. He tilted his head a little. "What i wonder is why you care enough to make it known, unless of course your on some scouting mission for your owner." Of course meaning Gabriel. If Katsuri spoke, David would cut him off. "Actually, i guess it doesnt really matter what your intents are. I don't need to fight- Gabriel has half the school in his pocket, let them take care of it. I can finally take a break."
Though again, he wondered why this man cared about him so much. He guessed the fellow got bored of beating on girls so he would try and find sport elsewhere.
David, however, was no defenseless girl, and wouldn't hesitate to break this mans ne-
He took a calming breath.
'Don't think about it Dave- you can't fight here.'

Katsuri just stared blankly at him, his eyes dull, listeless, unwavering even as he seemed to continue on his whole spiel about caring and not caring.. hypocrites. Pft. He just grinned at him when all was said and done. "Mm. If I had the intentions to crush the girl, I would have snapped her in two. Alexis does not know when to close her lips, and until she learns, it is better I teach with a harsh grab.. lest someone less caring crush her into pieces. " He knew exactly why he was getting the attitude he was.. what with the super hero stepping up so quickly to protect an ex-knight.. or knight.. he was not sure any more with Alexis.
David could go ahead and say what he wanted, fact of the matter was, Alexis did have a mouth that had a tendency to enjoy flapping in the wind, particularly in the direction of Katsuri or anyone else she dislikes. "That is not the reason for what I said.. nor is Gabriel or hypocritical oaths. I find it funny that you play the guise of a man done with it all.." He smirked again, leaning in a little close this time. "Walking about these halls... letting the fights float and break free.. and then afraid to hit the man that angered you so.. in a place of learning, and I know damn well it is not because you are afraid to fight me pretty boy. "
Katsuri had figured out a little more then David would have given the 'meat head' credit for. "As I said though.. when an infant cuts his own throat.. it is still destruction all the same. " Well. If David had not figured out whom it was he was talking about yet, then there was little hope for him. "Dont mistake Gabriels false sense of power as something that would allow him to wield the schools masses either, and I am far from a dog scouting out for its master. As I told him. Unless you can put down the beast with rabies, then it will only destroy you and all you hold dear.." A snort. Referring to himself as rabid? Well. It was not to try and gain fear from David. No. It was more that his mind swayed him into doing whatever his instincts and twisted world view decided it would be, and both was diseased in a way.. just as rabies caused animals to turn on their "owners".

A rather calm day at least in Gabriel's eyes; much of a sense of hope or fear filled the halls. A gang leader commanding the school was undoubtably blasphemous enough. However Gabriel's intentions were the same as they'd been since long before Moral Crest, he wanted people to have an opportunity at something more. Hope held more power than strength alone.
Eyes curved about the hall remembering each face and movement as he went about until coming up from behind the beheamoth. Listening cautiously, dispite the certain rush of blood that flowed freely now as he mentioned crushing Alexis Gabriel could not raise a fist, he wouldn't loose control here.
"He's right David... Nothing has been solved by either side now, I'd suggest that both of you let this go." Gabriel said in a short calm voice.
If anything he expected to be called a hypocrite for the sudden change of his fixation, though they never stopped to take the chance to actually disolve the scenario. In hind sight he respected each of these men with a grain of salt. Katsuri, who proved that he was more than just a bulk force of power, and David who stood by his cause. But essentially each of them came to preach to benefit oneself.
"I don't want to have to resort to things that would put the students here at risk, you want to fight David take it somewhere else." Gabriel turned to Katsuri silently.
"I understand your goals as I hope you do mine, lets stick to that shall we." Gabriel nodded waiting there till the verbal battle contiuned or simmered down.

"Saying you could have done worse doesn't negate what you did. You can ignore words, instead you had to try and show how strong you are by beating on a girl. I find it both hilarious and disgusting. Your what, eight feet tall? And still, you have to hit a girl. Its truly pathetic." He didn't care what Katsuri said after that- the man was nothing to him. Not like Gabriel was nothing- Gabriel was nothing in the sense that he showed no promise, was always tying and gnawing at the same plots, constantly showing the hypocrite inside him. No, Katsuri was nothing in the purist sense. Literal, complete nothing. the only thing he had for that man was anger, and a driving need to see him bleed. He looked at the Captain, bursting out in laughter.
"Seriously? You, Gabriel Seran, are going to tell ME, David Blaze, not to fight on school grounds? You have got one TWISTED sense of humor boy."
He said this to indicate the fact that David was the one who said those things to people. Don't fight on school grounds unless its in defense, and if it is, stop once asked to by a member of staff or the hierarchy. Here, Gabriel spoke as though he was mocking David, or trying to take his place. It was absolutely ludicrous. He pulled a hand from his pocket to point at Katsuri.
"You DO realize that, with the way this man speaks, he's gonna turn on the man whose holding his leash and take his arm, right?"
Again, speaking of Gabriel as the leasholder....in case it wasn't obvious =D

"You call it nothing. I call it teaching. Say what you want about it, does not concern me if you look on me as nothing. " A snort erupted from the nostrils of that massive man, after all, he was not concerned with respect, merely made himself known by way of calling out what David had most likely thought a perfect plot to let the school see how worthless it was not to have a goody goody in charge. Pft.
The secondary words did get a giggle, as it was Gabriel telling David his own words almost verbatim. Come on. That HAD to be fuckin' funny, granted, ignoring a rather loud laugh from the large man was not easily done, more so given his size and the way he was really putting his back into it, especially after David had to seemingly tell Gabriel that Katsuri was a wild dog and the new school captain was holding the leash.
"Thats the beautiful part of it.. " He licked his lips over, grinning wickedly, almost tempted to latch onto one of them and bite off a good hunk.. but he calmed. "When a beast is under the leash.. it can stem the temptation of rabid thoughts.. even if just for a moment.. but when there is no leash involved.. its just an animal in a cage."
The large man was gone, fading temporarily from view and appearing in front of Gabriel. It was inhuman for someone so large to move at such a blistering fuckin' pace. He patted his cheek lightly, winked, smiled, and then he was gone again, disappearing out of the library and into the hall. At which point he slowed back down to his lumbering pace and went on about his business, whistling rather loudly.. bet ya thought he was going to start a fight didn't ya?

Gabriel didn't falter at David's words, he was better than that now. Every emotion and every reaction prior to the moment he recieved the title was plotted out specifically and readily used for a moment's notice Gabriel had attained the climax of his goal now the road from here would be a treacherous path, where he alone would pay the price lest others stood in his way.
"You DO realize that, with the way this man speaks, he's gonna turn on the man whose holding his leash and take his arm, right?"
Gabriel shifted a lip into a noticable frown.
"I suppose it's good I'm not holding the leash." Gabriel smiled
He'd always wondered where this idea of himself being this almighty slave dealer came from, always curious how he'd gotten such a reputation. More often than not he had everyone opposing him at every turn less than them following him. The ones that did follow did of their own accord and for Katsuri's sake Gabriel could only interpret it as a sense of his own enjoyment. Gabriel spiced things up for him, humerous as it was.
Gabriel's eyes flickered catching Katsuri's quick movements in the same instant Gabriel felt the tendons in his neck bolt tightly prepared but not moving. Katsuri was simply playing again, which gave Gabriel another smile. So long as he kept being who he was Gabriel expected no trouble, the metaphoric leash could stay off.
Turning to David once more Gabriel spoke, "Just keeping with tradition, I'd suspect you'd like that... unless of course you'd prefer me roaming the hallways being carried atop my throne?" Gabriel chuckled making spot of the all too tense scenario that had occured. He felt things begin to lighten up.

"Katsuri?" Drea stopped short when she realized it was two others instead. She frowned. She could've sworn she'd hear Katsuri's rumbling voice.
Still, one of the two before her was David - the other was their School Captain. Drea wondered if she should back away and look elsewhere... But she had no idea where Katsuri was and she had a question to ask him. She blinked. She supposed she could ask these guys instead, right?
... No. No, she couldn't. Not when they already looked to be ready to take each others' throats out.
She briefly wondered if she was insane as she approached them.
"David, Mr. School Captain... Have either of you guy seen my sister or Katsuri?"
As to whose sister she was? That shouldn't be too hard. David had already seen the two of them together, and she herself was essentially a carbon copy of her sister as they were twins, but for the long hair and the clothing choices. Hmm. Where was Emily?
