It was a normal day. Student filled the school, there were fights and argument scattered throughout the place. Nothing was strange at all. Except for the kid standing on the roof firing roman candles down at the students in the courtyard.
Jason laughed as he watched the students scatter around in confusion. Trying to take cover and not get hit. He'd aim at one group and while everyone was looking at them as they scattered he'd hit another one.
By the time he ran out of shots with one roman candle he'd already have everyone running around. Reaching into his back pocket he'd grab another one and light the end of it.
Time for round 2.

Kevala was looking for an escape from the rest of the school and their mindless chit chat about nothing.
Well okay, so they were talking a lot about her and the whole Katsuri thing. But that was beside the point.
No, here she was, pushing open the door to the roof and stepping onto it. A light sigh passing from her lips as she reached up and pushed her hair back from her face.
Those icy hues would then scan the roof top, falling upon Jason as he
Shot people with roman candles?
Cool!
Smiling she would move to take a seat at one of the tables placed up there.
Hey there.

"Hey yourself."
Jason didn't look back but he recognized the voice. Right now he was more focus on the students. He spotted someone making a run for the school and focused on him. It took all the remaining shots, but he got him with the last one. Right in his face too. Jason laughed as the student fell on his butt in shock.
"Man this stuff never gets old."
Reaching into his back pocket Jason grabbed another roman candle. Turning around he'd hold it out.
"Come on. You know you want to."

She watched as he offered her one, a grin spreading on her lips as she shrugged innocently.Maybe just a little.....With that she was up and reaching out, taking the roman candle from him and digging into her back pocket for her lighter.
Yes, she thought this type of thing fun......
So what?
Got a problem with it?
Lighting the flaming stick of destruction she would move to stand beside him, pointing it out toward the people below..
Laughing as she watched them scurry away in search of shelter.
Oh she was sure she would be in soooo much trouble if she got caught, but
WHO CARED?You know...this really never does get old. So, why are you up here? Other than in an attempt to set some preps head on fire?

Reaching back Jason grabbed another one for himself. Lighting the end he join Kelava in raining down what the students must be thinking is gods wrath or something.
"You're reading to much into it. What you see is what you get."
He didn't really have a reason for anything he was doing. Jason just happened to think about when he was a kid and everyone got together to have a fireworks war. It was fun ducking, dodging, and shooting them. That really all this was, a fireworks war Jason was just way more prepared for.
"What about you. How ya been?"

Well she kept forgetting that men were not as complex as she liked to give them credit for....
Oh well....
As she fired off the last shot out of the roman candle, she would shake it a bit and then toss it to the side....
She probably should remember to pick that up later.....
Ah well......
Shrugging softly she would sigh softly.
Well, I have managed to get myself into more trouble than I care to admit.....
She pulled her hair back from around her neck, showing those electrical burn marks in the shapes of hands. Shaking her head and then releasing her hair, pulling it down to cover up the marks once more.
Arthur, assuming you know him, or burn boy as I have been told he is called, seems to have taken a fancy to me. Be it some sick desire or some attempt to kill Katsuri...I do not know...but, I am about at my wits end.
Add to that all the rumors around school about me and Katsu and I am up hear trying to get away from the madness...

"No one's gonna kill Katsuri. Look at that motherfucker. You think a burn boy could beat him?"
Jason laughed. He couldn't believe what Kelava was saying. She was having problems because someone wanted to kill Katsuri and there were some rumors. You couldn't do anything about the rumors, but he'd like to see anyone try to kill Katsuri.
As the last shot came out the of roman candle he tossed it at one of the student running inside. Yeah they made it in, but Jason felt better about not them.
"If they are bothering you so much why don't you just send King Kong on a rampage to shut everyone up?"

She shrugged softly and let a soft sigh pass from her as she thought over what he said. It was true, she could. But she did not like the idea of making him fight her battles.
Because I do not wish for him to get hurt. I know you say that it is not gonna happen. But when he is the father of my child I do not wish to take that chance.
To that she would nod, confident in her answer as she looked down over the edge of the roof, curious as always about the people running about below.

Father of Katsuri child? Wow, Kelava really did know how to get into trouble. Being pregnant and going to 259 was bad enough, but she was pregnant with someone's kid most the school didn't care for. Why didn't she just put a big target on her back?
"That's gonna suck when you give birth. Gotta be a big ass baby."
Jason still thought Kelava was worried about nothing regarding Katsuri getting hurt, but the fear was founded. After all it'd be nice for a kid to know their dad.
Looking down at the court yard it seemed everyone was still spooked by what transpired earlier. Although he had more roman candles he decided to take a break, maybe get them again after they've calmed down.
"Can I ask you a question..."
He'd trail off as he scanned the whole courtyard hoping to find an answer to his question before he asked it. Sadly it was all wasted effort.
"Why do people care about this hell hole? About them?" Jason would point down the courtyard. By them he meant the students, "Look a few fire works and they think the worlds coming to an end."
Taking a breath Jason paused. He had a lot of thoughts running through his head and wanted to make sure he phrased his question right.
"Guess what I want to say is, is this place worth caring about?

She listened to his question, biting upon her lower lip softly as she thought it through.
What should she say?
I dont know. I mean, I am sure there is some good in the people around here. It is just a matter of bringing it out.
With that, she would shift herself to sit down, her back leaning against the wall leading to the edge. Tilting her head upwards, she would allow those eyes to look at him.
I mean, you cant give up on everything just because it "seems" like a lost cause. Everyone deserves a chance to change.

Nodding his head Jason listened to Kelava. Although it wasn't an answer he expected to hear from her. With the way she made it seem, this place treated her like crap and she was still willing to give it a chance?
"What abut pedophiles and rapists? Do they deserve another chance?"
It was a bit of a jump from high schoolers to pedophiles and rapists, but the point was still there. Not everyone deserves another chance and Jason felt many of the 259 population fell under that category, including himself.
"Everyone here has been corrupted by this place, even the righteous. They just refuse to admit it..."
He just stared off into the courtyard as he spoke. He wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, more just thinking out loud. 259 did nothing worth while. The 'troubled' students just got worse and the 'good' students got turned into false idols.

I see your point. I understand that there are some who perhaps do not deserve a second chance. But then, not everyone is a pedophile or a rapist.
But in the end, most of them get a second chance as well.
But as for the people here. They treat me like shit. I am stressed and worried constantly. But I have also seen the good that is here. It may not be much. It may not be enough to overshadow the bad, but it is there.
She sighed softly, letting her head fall back some as she cast a look up toward the sky.
When I was 8 my foster family tried to kill me. I still have the scars on my back to prove it. Do I think they deserve a second chance? No. But that is me. Others saw them as a family who gave to children in need, and only one time did they stray from the path of good.
I am the one they view as evil, the reason for their madness.
When I was 15 a boy at my old school tried to rape me. I nearly killed him. Again, he is viewed as the true victim, corrupted by a girl who teased and who snapped and tried to kill him.
I do not think he needs another chance, but, the world did.
It is a slippery slope and the opinion of one does not always out weigh the opinions of many. But, I still try.
Why?
Because I am tired of the violence that has followed me my entire life. I want it to end. I only hope that this place can see things my way and change.
(OOC: ~claps~ You actually managed to provoke a rare Kevala ramble moment. Nice! XD )

(OOC: Schweet ^_^)
Turning around Jason sat on the edge of the ledge as he listened to Kelava speak. Her story made Jason's life seem like a cake walk. He couldn't believe that someone that had had that much wrong done to her wanted betterment and change.
"You're a better person than me. All that's happen and you still want change for the better of everyone."
Jason then looked back at his life. He had created most of his problems. His dugs use had caused his family pain. They worked as hard as they could to give him a better life. One they never had and he just pissed the chances away.
"Violence is needed to change. Without a revolt, a revolution, there is no change. Think about something with me."
Standing back up he turned around to look at the courtyard. It seemed to have returned to normal for the most part. Reaching into his back pocket Jason would grab another roman candle and light it. He toss it into the air cause it to spin around and shoot the fireballs off in every direction as it fell. As expected the students start running around for cover again.
"Just with some small fireworks we made chaos. How do you ever expect chaos to go away when it can be made so easily?"
Chaos beat the weak down and tested the strong. But could something as messed up as this system really be the best thing? No matter how much he thought about it Jason always found himself flip flopping on the subject.
"Sometimes I can't help buy feel like turning a blind eye to this place like the rest of the world has."

She listend as he spoke, her head tilting to the side to allow her to look up at him. A smile curling on her lips despite the topic of conversation.
Then as he stood and began to shoot off that roman candle to rain upon those below, she would herself stand. His words causing her to sigh softly and shake her head.
How could it be stopped if started so easily?
The answer seemed simple to her, though she was not sure if it would make sense to him.
Yes, chaos can be started with something so small as a simple firework. But what gives me hope is...
Her small hand would reach up, taking the now empty tube from his hand and tossing it aside, only to allow her hand to grasp his. Stopping him from lighting another one for now.
....that something equally as small can put an end to it.
To that, she would smile and let those eyes find his own, tilting her head softly before pulling her hand back.
I understand wanting to turn a blind eye on things, but if everyone did that, then there would be nobody to care. The world cannot go on if that happens.

Jason made a 'hmm' sound as he thought about what Kelava said. They could go in circles all day talking about this subject, but it wouldn't get anywhere. Jason just needed to talk to someone about all the bull regarding the school. It felt good to get it all out of his head.
"There is always hope ain't there?"
Hope is something good to have but it's hard to have it all the time. That is a topic for another time though. Looking down at Kelava's stomach he joking asked.
"Anyway, how's the little bloodsucker?"
