Serenity had come to school today, though she had yet to be to a single class. No, she was once again seated upon the roof, those emerald eyes scanning the area below. Watching students run back and forth to class and what not.
As usual, she had the hood of her grey pull over pulled up ontop of her head. Blond hair slipping free in some places and resting upon her chest. A pair of form fitting flare leg jeans adorning her lower half.
She would let out a soft sigh as moved a bit closer to the edge of the roof. A darker part of her saw this as the perfect time to end it all. But the rest of her laughed at the thought. She had too much to do in her life to think like that.
Too much trouble to get into and too much fun to be had. Shaking her head, a soft grin would spread upon her lips. Her hands dug into her pocket, pulling out some gum and placing a piece in her mouth. Yeah, she had gotten her cigs taken away by the partental units this morning and had not been able to get to the store to buy more.
So, she had lifted some gum from this nerdy kid who sat in front of her on the bus. Fucking public transportation was a bitch.
Growling lightly at the thought she would wad up the wrapper to the gum and toss it down over the edge of the roof. So far, only a couple people had been up here and all had left her alone. It had been a great day thus far.

The soft airy breeze from the rooftops carried on for awhile in every direction. The calm silky waft caught up the imagination of a once young boy faltered to endless amounts of growth in such a short year. Now things had changed all too much, he was caught away from the comfortable and oriented and was trapped behind the wall pressing him to do horrid things that he didn't intentionally want.
"So, how does it feel?" Gabriel said having been there first, listening all the while as the girl had paced about the roof top taking her spot atop the ledge.
He wasn't intending to make conversation, more so he just wanted to be alone, it'd be easier that way when he broke all ties. Gabriel was still recovering from Reira and didn't know how he'd be able to survive when Alexis left. It felt as though there was a cold space consuming him now. No entity to replace it but sorrow.

She turned to the sound of a voice. Those eyes settling upon the guy standing there and yes, of course, she was checking him out. She could not help it. It was second nature to her these days. But she was able to contain herself.
Mostly because she had yet to find out who was who in this place and she needed to know that before she went off having fun with the guys.
Well it depends on what you are referring to.
The being new here? It sucks because I dont know anyone.
The standing on the roof? Pretty good. It is peaceful
The standing on the edge? Like I could end it all in a second if I wanted to, but I dont cause I have too much to get done in this life
The looking at you? Baby, I dont think you want to know what naughty and dirty thoughts you make run through my mind.
So which did you mean?
She was blunt and to the point. Not a lot of people could handle that. But then, that was why she did not make friends that easily
Moving forward she would let her small hand move up and push back the hood of her jacket. Revealing soft yet well defined features, long blond hair and shockingly bright emerald green eyes. A soft grin curled upon her lips.
Hi. Names Serenity. And you would be???

Gabriel's hands slipped into his pockets a very uninterested stare on his face. He assertained the situation quickly, it had become second nature to size a person up for all they were worth. Small, fragile features, very attractive but in the same sense there was an aparent hunger to her that Gabriel found remeniscent of his own begotten past.
"Merely noting how his feels to be so high... you hardly realize how great it is before you actually fall..."
Gabriel made his banter short before slipping off past her, his shoulder making contact with her's till he was at the edge sitting upon it with one leg over the side, straddling it easily.
"The name's Gabriel Seran. A pleasure."

They were so cute when they were not interested. Made the whole thing that much more interesting. She grinned as he moved past her, the brush of his shoulder to her own getting her to shake her head softly as she turned to allow those eyes to follow him.
As he took his seat she would move to take a seat down a bit from him. Her back to the expanse which led down to the earth below and her feet settled upon the roof. His name of course catching her attention as she raised her brow slightly.
So, you are the one that has everyone in this place so divided? Captain right? Guy with the plan that people are too stupid or self absorbed to see for what it is?
Yeah, I have heard a lot about you. But nobody told me you would look so good. I was expecting a nerdy little fucker.
Heh. Go figure. Oh and as per your question. Yes, the feeling of being this high, being above the world and knowing that with just a slip of the foot, or the wrong shift of your weight you could fall is something both humbling and at the same time thrilling and peaceful. That is why I come here.

Gabriel cocked a curious brow. So everyone had been speaking about him eh? Well this was certainly remeniscent of a very curious moment back at Moral Crest. He smirked, funny how so many people fall out of whack when you set fire to the lawn while hundreds of students go beaten every week and no one bats an eye.
"Thats right..." Gabriel blinked slowly resting back into his position while she spoke a bit more, he didn't want to have to be the one left talking it was ratehr peaceful still.
"Funny... didn't think I'd caused that much of a scene." Gabriel smiled with a soft grin.

She shifted now, her own leg going over the side so that she was facing him fully now. Her own grin in place as she shook her head. A soft laugh passing from her as she looked at him, her eyes finding his own.
Oh yes. First person I met mentioned you and the goings on here. It brought up a rather interesting debate for me. I have since asked around about you. Though I can stand in the halls and simply listen and hear all I want to about you.
Well aside from the way you look that is. That somehow slipped through my investigations.
The breeze would catch her hair, letting a few locks to blow into her face. Though it did not bother her so much as to make her move her hands from the spot on the ledge between her legs. No, she was too intent upon him. Reading his reactions. So far, she had learned that he seemed to enjoy causing a stir.
Very nice quality indeed.

Gabriel made a short grin, quite honestly he was curious about these so called rumors. Though quite a few he'd already heard, those from Linda's crowd about him being a pyro or those of him being a disgusting foul beast, all negetive propaganda to keep hold on their own ranks. It was funny because Gabriel had far more charisma and pulled the masses to his side more than one time. Though past's played similar to a duel edged sword. He was dishonest in all those attempts at good and therefore people feared what he would implicate.
"Well now you've got me curious... What have you heard?"
Gabriel made a wry grin hoping almost that she would say that he was a murderer. Because Gabriel had killed before, he was not above killing again, even Reira's child in the womb was a victim to him at one point. Lucky bastard slunk away thanks to Gabriel's true intentions, but who else knew that other than Reira herself.

She tilted her head slightly, that grin remaining in place as she rolled her shoulders softly. Tip of her tongue running over her lips as her eyes wandered just a bit. She could not help it. Men did it all the time, so she learned long ago to do it as well.
Hmm. Well, there are of course those who say you are power hungry and out to rule over those that walk beneath you. Others who say you only have power because of the peons you have assisting you.
I have heard of how you took the position from David Blaze, and at the same time I have heard he handed it over willingly.
Of course there are those who say you are here to save them from the violence and others who wish to have a different leader.
Crazy, insecure in your masuclinity, dangerous, the list goes on.
People have attempted to sway me to their side, and I find that funny. But it is the nature of the beast so to speak.
I have already come to my own conclusions on the matter. Do not need anyone to try and sway me.
She nodded softly and reached up finally to push back some of her hair. Those eyes once more returning to where they should have been. Meeting his gaze fully.

His bloody, Crimson hues focused forward now. All the stories were the same as always, stupid how they were. Of course whatever deseptions that were spread about aimlessly were bound to be in Gabriel's favor anyway. He wasn't out to prove anything, well not so far as he could tell but then again it could have been some long lost relation with his parents as he watched them burned that caused him to resort to such ends.
"Tahts certainly is interesting enough..." Gabriel paused a small chuckle welling up in his throat as he moved a hand across his cheek resting it there.
"You have yet to meet me till this day and you've already made up your mind acting as though you have all the pieces in palce?"
Gabriel chuckled again this time more pitying than anything else. "That seems a bit childish..." Gabriel knew clear well what it meant to jump to conclusions and often you'd simply get the wrong perception, for all she knew Gabriel could be the next mass murderer ready to draw a Car-98 and run rampant about the school picking off those little freshman.

She laughed softly to his words and shook her head. Those eyes dropping from his for a moment and then returning to his crimson gaze.
Should you not ask first what my conclusion is before you go about calling it childish?
Or are you, who has just met me, drawing your own conclusion without having all the pieces in place?
She would raise her brow slightly. Well, she did have a point she thought. But then, she always thought she had a point.
Here, I will give you the pieces you need.
My conclusion is simply this. I believe that perhaps you are indeed a power hungry guy out to take control of the masses. But then at the same time, I believe in your mind you believe what you are doing to be good and honest.
I also have come to the conclusion, that despite your intentions, you are thinking of the school as a whole and be it for your own gain or an actual attempt at having them work together; it is a good thing.
Be it through your leadership or their hate of you, they will find that they are indeed doing what you wish. They will eventually come together. Though which side you are on, I am still unsure.
Do I know you? No, I do not. But I know that if you have caused this much division, then you are a person worth taking note of.
With that she fell silent. It did not hurt her feelings in the slightest that he thought her ideal childish. Sometimes it was good to be a bit like that. Kept the weight of the world from settling in on you.

Gabriel laughed openly almost mocking her reply. She was right fucking on, damnit he obviously wasn't trying hard enough to be the bad guy. A menacing scowl covered his features only given away by the grin shaped look of his cheeks. The weight of the world did fall on his shoulders because undoubtably it was not the hero who recieved everything in the beginning it was the villan and while people sat complacently at their guard assuming that every dick and jane with the world at their backs and not over their heads had the right ideal than this world was surely fucked.
"Well then I suppose that makes you a tad bit smarter than the rest of this school's inhabitants." Gabriel chuckled.
"So how did you come to get here? I figure I'll tell you a bit about me if the same courtesy is granted."

She smiled as he laughed at her words. She could care less if he had taken them the wrong way or not. She just was glad he actually had the brain capacity to follow along. Then as he spoke once more she would roll her eyes and give a heavy sigh as she recalled the events leading to her moving here.
Well, lets see. I started running with a gang when I was 12, broke into a bunch of places and what not. Got caught when I was 13 and thrown in juvie. When I got out, my family moved. Fresh start.
She scoffed at the idea and then shifted a bit upon the ledge before continuing.
Found a gang to run with there, got into trouble but never got caught. That lasted til I was 15 and I got knocked up. Complete accident there. Fucker "said" it was safe. Liar.
So yeah, got that taken care of and to hide my mother's shame we moved again and now here I am.
She would stop there, her eyes searching intently for the signs of him being put off by her past. Oh she had gotten it more times than she cared to think about. Though she did not see anything wrong with it personally. But then she was happy with herself. So, yeah.

Gabriel sighed and nodded; he would be such a bad liar if he were to tell his story, so rather than doing so he'd wait his turn and listen intently. A sense of acknowledgement as he grew curious to how she dealt with all that negetivity. Would it be compulsive and wrong or would it end up saving her as it had him?
"Hmm thats unfortunate..." Gabriel nodded replying simply feeling unwilling to say another word.

She raised her brow to his response. Unfortunate? She had not ever seen her past as that.
Why is it unfortunate? It has made me who I am right now and though you may not like me, I think I am pretty damn good. I am interesting, smart, somewhat funny, and on the right day I can be hot as hell.
She grinned as those words left her lips. Well, it was true. She was completely at peace with who she was. So what if people hated her? She could in turn hate them right back. She lived her life at least and did not hide behind some books or a the shelter of her parents and their ideals for her.
I mean come on. I am not THAT bad ya know? I have my good points.
