"Even so... and maybe even because of my naivete, I know you have a good heart in you. You push me away with harsh words and a terrible attitude, but the underlying message you're trying to issue to me is that I should harden myself so that I don't get hurt. I see this. You're a good person."
"Why can't we get along? Won't you give me a chance to get to know you?"
"What's hardened you so much to hate someone like me?"

*a chuckle*
"Kid, you don't have the time, the brainspace, or even the sheer force of will to understand my life and whats happened in it, let alone remain sane through the telling."
"Suggestion?"
"New Subject, with a new person."

"I'm not asking to understand your teen angst, I would just like to get along with you. Is it that hard?"
"...Hello, I don't believe I have had the pleasure of meeting you before. Miss...?"
"And don't blame him... I am aware I am at fault for provoking this, but there is so much useless angst, anger, and frustration that doesn't need to be there... I am drawn."

"Hello. Nice to meet you to."
"Around here you will learn fast that those emotions are what make up most of the students. Give it time and they will comsume you as well. You can either learn to live with them and better yourself or you can let them turn you into something you wont wanna face in the mirror."
"Anyways. Just a heads up for future interactions with other students. Hope to see you around."

"Thanks for the forewarning. I am quickly coming to acknowledge this. You being the third person to acknowledge my naive way of approaching you, saying its 'useless' and the like."
"...But even so, I must try. I must. Please understand and I hope you don't push me away for it."

"I do not judge people upon first meeting them unless they threaten those I hold dear. For that there is no forgiveness.
I am only trying to help you out. There are no kids here. There are people who have been forced by the tragedies of life to grow up too soon and with a lot of anger they keep locked away.
Trust me. My best friend is probably the most stubborn man I have ever met and keeps most of himself locked away from the world.
For some it is okay to push their buttons upon first meeting them. But for others, such as David, it is not wise. Heed his advice and move on. You can learn a lot from that man or you can fall by his hand."
*shrugs*
"The choice is up to you."

"I see... I understand."
"...Though you may debate if I truly do or no."
"I've made my choice. I hope to get along with you. And for David... I hope to get along with him more, all the more for it."

"Well I hope to get along with you as well. As for David....tread carefully. It is all I can say.
I hope you have better luck with future interactions and if you need anything do not hesitate to ask."

"Thank you. I mean it sincerely. I may very well take you up on that offer."
"...I just find it sad. There is so much emotional baggage that teenagers carry due to traumatic experiences, hormonal unbalances, and yet I often ask my Dad."
"And we discuss how, later on, when we finally balance ourselves out that all those petty things in the past that bothered us don't bother us as much anymore."
"But I don't see a lot of petty problems, as I am right now, as a fellow teenager. And it strikes me."
"So many pent up, hidden things... I think its because of the OC way of keeping one's problems to themselves."
"I just wish it wasn't so, don't you?"
"I mean, I see the gentle kindness that exudes from you. Am I wrong to think that David, that you are both good people, deep down inside?"

"Well I suppose that I can be a good person at times. As for David, he is a good person, but like so many others, I believe there is more there than a few psychoanalytical questions can bring forth.
You do not push people like him. You take them as they are and hope to one day reach beyond the rage and the pain to the real them they keep hidden."
*shrugs*
"Around here there are more serious problems that can change the course of ones life than you would believe. So do not dismiss a person's anger as simply being a teenager pissed about petty issues. That will land you in the hospital in a heartbeat. Always assume that the person you are talking to has suffered much pain and that is why they harbor so much rage.
It is safer that way."
