Alex nodded slightly, he didn't mind, he had no hard feelings towards Drea for it, heck, if he was in the same situation, he'd want to work with his sister too. Just as Alex turned to head back to his seat, Ms. Glass called for time, as he paused mid-way in his turn. Since Alex currently had no partner, he sat back down in his desk, and pretty much spent his time thinking of what to write for the ten line poem. Poetry... not Alex's forte. Not to say he didn't know it, he just didn't spend much time working on it. Still without a partner, Alex absentmindedly noticed Ms. Glass stand up, before pairing up Alex with the guy that had asked to be Emily's partner, but was denied. "... Alright." Alex said simply, as he shifted in his seat and faced Gilgamesh. "... I'm Alex." Now that Gilgamesh knew Alex's name, Alex took the transparency marker and wrote two lines on the transparent page, to start them off.
He then slid the page to Gilgamesh, basically alternating between the two of them, two lines from him, two lines from Gilgamesh. "... Your turn." Alex said, as he absentmindedly stared out the window, waiting for Gilgamesh to write something down.

Emily looked at the said transparency as her sister passed it back. This was actually turning out better than Emily expected it to be. Maybe it was because Drea was good at this? Could be, but Emily just smiled, took the marker into her hand and began to write once more.
"Hmmm..." She mumbled to herself, tapping the marker tip on one corner of the transparency as she began to think further. Oh, right--
"How's this?" Emily asked as she passed back the transparency.

Kevala would look down at her paper, not sure where to begin. She was not the best at poetry. It was the one form of art she was lacking in. But she would try none the less. Thinking over her life, thinking back to the things that ate away at her day in and day out she would come up with two single lines.
She would look over that which she had just written. It was a bit off, but that was just how she was. She was not one to write about fluffy bunnies and happy rainbows. And for the life of her she could not start the poem about any one topic. So she would leave it as is and then pass the paper to Saint. Letting him add what he wished and then she would go from there.

Drea watched as her sister wrote out her two lines, and then accepted the transparency when her sister returned it to her.
"How's this?" Emily asked her.
Drea looked over the lines, nodding to herself. She thought it had turned... a bit odd. Less of a romantic thing and more of a painful concept, but she could work with that, too.
She winced as she realized she'd written out the last three lines. She frowned, before looking towards her sister. She looked at her apologetically.
"Paumanhin. [Sorry.]" she said. "I hope you don't mind." She rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. "I finished it."

And I would like to commend Drea and Emily. The twins were the only ones to finish the final assignment, though we were unable to present."
