( OOC: This is after the birth of the twins and therefore further down in her timeline. I just wished to point that out. Thanks <3)
It was not a day different than any other she supposed. No, she had gotten up, fed the twins, made sure the nanny had her instructions for the day, gotten dressed and came to school. Yet still she felt the emptiness inside. But then what could she do?
So here she was, after class, seated on the floor at the end of the hallway going through her photos. Most of them were dark and depressing shots. All except the ones of the twins. Aiden and Kazumi being her newest muse so to speak.
Letting a sigh pass from her, her long brown hair falling about her face as she rested there. Blue eyes scanning the photos. Today was a black tank to with a dark pink tank top underneath kinda day. Along with a pair of denim jeans.
She had changed a lot since the twins were born. But deep down she was still the same. Just, things had happened to her that had led her to have to change. One could not stay the exact same forever right?
So here she sat as the other students hurried about in a rush to get home. Soon enough there were not that many people left. The quiet taking hold slowly.

Victor mozied down the hallways, slow and macabre, at his own pace and his own amusement, his pea coat bobbing with his bouncing step, that smile placed perfectly on his well crafted face, his eyes bright and brilliant even in the dim light of the hallway, with no where to be and a heart with high spirits the end of the school day was the begining of his day.
his white binder in his right hand, his left came up through his blonde faux hawk, making sure it still looked good for when he got off campus.
there was a certain quiet as the rest of the children had already escaped the grasp of the school, freeing itself from the clutches of the punishment system.
speaking of which...
Victor's attention was suddenly drawn, he heard the sounds of a fight behind the closed door of a classroom. he looked around slowly, taking in a breath. usually he let these things just... go, they wheren't his problem, but today he felt like playing hero.
he threw open the door, looking inside to see a teacher beating the hell out of a student. Victor clucked his toungue in the ever familiar 'tsk tsk' sound. The teacher looked at the boy, the teacher knew that Victor was the football captain, which to be fair was the closest to a varsity captain this school had with gabriel's club system in place. "What did the kid do?" Victor asked, ready to give the teacher some credibility
"No homework for the third time this week!" the teacher responded.
Victor nodded, thoughtfully.
"Thats no beating offense, its his fault if his grades slip, let him figure himself out" Victor said, looking at the kid with his piercing blue eyes, clearly both doing him a favor and giving him a warning.
the teacher then scoffed "what, and you're gonna stop me?" the teacher asked.
Victor thought about this, a smile coming to his lips as he nodded slowly, humored by the thought.
"Sure" Victor said, running in without a seconds pause, smashing the teacher in the face, back into the white board behind him. Victor winked at the teacher, who stumbled back up but made no moves to counterattack.
nodding Victor left with a little two finger salute, walking back into the hallway, his hand shoving into his pocket, sometimes these people...
then Victor saw a familiar face... kevala, though she looked... different.
Victor walked up with his usual smile "Hey there, looking great, how've you been?" Victor asked, his californian accent running the sentance together, his smile tieing up the loose speech

She had just finished going through the pictures of the twins when she heard that familiar tone. A smile curling on her lips despite her current mood as she shifted those icy hues up to look at him. She had decided against the contacts today. Having figured nobody really noticed the difference in her anyway.
"Hey there handome. Not looking so bad yourself. I have been....alright."
It took her a moment to come up with the right words to define how she had been lately. Alright seemed good enough. Considering that was all she had been. Alright. Heh. Sure, she had the twins, but that was all she had in her life right now. It was hard. Tiring. But she would make it. She was sure of that.
Shifting to sit up a bit more, she closed the binder that held the pictures of Aiden and Kazumi and let it rest in her lap. Her hands running over it as she let her head lean back against the wall so she could keep her gaze on his own.
"How have you been? Not getting into too much trouble I hope?"
That smile still present on her face as she spoke to him.

Victor smiled, rolling his eyes at her question "You know... trouble has this tendancy to follow me around" Victor said with a little chuckle, sitting down next to her to watch the kids walk by. "somethings different since the last time I saw you" Victor said curiously, his little smile fading to grey as he looked at her with his blue gaze, he knew her hair had changed color, and he could tell she seemed a bit more... solemn perhaps was the word...
"though I can't seem to place a finger on it" Victor said, not wanting to be obvious... maybe if something was troubling her she'd just tell him without him having to push too far for it.

She sighed. Damn! Was it that obvious that she was a bit off? She had hoped that she was keeping it locked away for the most part. But apparenty she was wrong about that. Turning her head to face him, those eyes once more seeking out his own she shrugged softly.
"I have been through a lot lately. Actually in the last year. Ever since the twins were born I have just felt the need to change. The need to grow up and stop hoping for things I will never get..."
She trailed off as pain filled her gaze, causing her to shift her head to look downward now.
No.
She was not going to let this get to her. She could not cry anymore over something she could not change. Her heart was broken, but she had to move on. The twins could not have her being stuck in the past. They needed their mother. She was all they had.
Drawing in a deep breath to calm her nerves she would let her eyes fall shut as she pushed back the thoughts which threatened to come forth once more.
Finally she would look back to him. Having managed to get herself under control.
"But it is nothing to be whining to you about. What have you been up to lately?"

Twins...
woah Victor had missed quite a lot hadn't he? some people just get a little TOO crazy in high school he supposed...
"thats a good attitude to take, shit happens, why complain, though that does sound pretty tough" Victor explained, he thought she seemed a tad more... mature since he had seen her last. he decided to pretend he knew that she had had twins the whole time... that explains SO MUCH!
"I've been good, just working on my music, my art, and my photos" Victor said with a little wink, his usual smile coming to his face as he chuckled a little, his hands sliding up behind his head. he thought about it, partying, sex, music, fighting... it was all he was EVER up to...
and with that thought he gave a content sigh, the perfect life.
"just been out and about, following all of my passions as far as they'll lead me" Victor said poetically with a little laugh, even when he spoke seriously he never had the ability to take himself as such...

She let her own head lean back some as she continued to look upon him. Her smile curling onto her lips once more as he spoke.
"Ah, yes, you passions."
A soft laugh would slip from her, causing her eyes to shimmer softly in the light of the hallways. Still the same, near hypnotic beauty held within them as there had been upon their first meeting. Just another sign that though the girl may have appearred different in many ways, deep down she was still the same.
"Mm...I imagine you latest flings to be as happy with you as I was?"
A teasing grin spreading across her face now as her eyes looked him over, a playful look held within that gaze.
"Ah, but of course I am sure you have found many a girl to make your little fling with me just a distant memory."
Lightly she would let her arm come up to nudge at him a bit. Why the hell could she not joke about it? It had happened, it had been great, and they had managed to remain friends. Seemed like the perfect one night stand to her.

Victor just smiled, he certainly couldn't hold anything against her, stuff went down... they fell out of contact for a little bit after, but hey... that was life. victor just chuckled at her statements, not used to the people he slept with staying friends with him, and even more not used to them actually talking about it, though he supposed that was natural, and even more so he wasn't uncomfortable with it at all, in fact it seemed normal.
"they come and go I suppose, I just try to keep it honest and clean" Victor said with a hint of a smile, his eyes now locking to hers, that icy blue gaze that had attracted him to her so heavily when he first met her. "Though honestly, I've still never met one with eyes as beautiful as yours" Victor said, now that his gaze was caught, he really did just enjoy looking into her eyes.
he considered what she said, "I never forgot though, distant memories only grow distant if you let them" Victor said wistfully, before letting out a little chuckle. "Though I'm surprised thats still on your mind, considering you have kids now..." Victor said, then his eyes widened and he suddenly thought of something... "unless they're uhh... " he started, not wanting to really ask as his finger came up and pointed to himself
mine?

You have no idea how tempting it was to tell him yes. To see that look for only a moment. But she was not that mean. She never could be. At least not to him. She liked Victor.
"No...they are not yours. Trust me. It is fine."
She laughed softly and would lightly rest her hand on his arm as she shook her head.
"I would have said something long ago if that was the case."
She sighed and withdrew her hand. Letting it come to rest on her lap along with the other. Her head laying back against the wall once more as she held her gaze on his own.
"And why would I not think about it. You were the first person ever to comment on my eyes, and the last. You did make me feel beautiful. I cannot dismiss something like that so easily you know?"
She smiled and curled her legs up so that her arms could rest upon her knees. Eyes never faltering from his own.
"Not to mention you were the first man I slept with in this place and though I have been with another, it was never the same as with you."
A light shrug offered as she fell silent. Of course as outspoken as always. She was honest. Nothing wrong with that right?

Victor smiled, nodding his head and thinking about it. all of it seemed fair enough, kevala was just his kind of girl, honest, but with the hints of subtlety, and just the perfect mannerisms, he was very easily reminded of the way he had been attracted to her the first time.
"Well... I was just being honest... and still am" he said with a little chuckle "You are very beautiful, and your eyes are still incredibly..." Victor paused, being caught by her eyes, and then caught himself and smiled "captivating" he finally said, the word coming to his head just in time, his hand coming out and finding hers, a little squeeze as he would take her hand in his.
"So how is this other guy, taking care of you I hope?" Victor asked with a smile, he wasn't sure if she was still with him, what her story was, or really much of anything, best to ask before they delve too deep down memory lane

She smiled as his words seemed to faulter slightly, a light blush coming to her cheeks as he spoke once more of her eyes.
It was then she felt the warm brush of his hand to her own. Had it been a few months ago, she would have told him no. Would have apologized and said she could not allow such touches any more.
But now......
Her small hand curled about his own, fingers shifting to lace with his as she sighed softly. His words provoking another soft wave of sadness to pass through her gaze. Pain. Something she was sure Victor had never seen before in her eyes that he seemed to enjoy so much.
Lowering her gaze slightly she would bite upon her lower lip.
"He...He is gone. I have not seen him since just before the twins were born. I have heard nothing from him. It is just me and the children now."
She fell silent. Her fingers softly running over his hand.

And suddenly as kevala looked away Victor's heart sunk a little... he knew what was coming.
gone...
that fucker
the pain he had never seen in her eyes would create an emotion in his that she had never seen: anger
Victor's generally calm demenor was broken as he snarled, to himself "That fucker" he said, his rich voice tainted with acidic tone "how dare he, shirking responsibility, how does that little bitch call himself a man?" Victor asked now entirely infuriated
there was one simple rule victor followed to being a player
if you do it, do it knowing and expecting the consequences, and ready to take them on if they where to happen.
Victor just shook his head, the audciy of the situation had actually gotten to him, that was the kind of men he didn't like...
calming himself down, Victor's hand came up, to touch her chin and bring her gaze back to his own. he didn't want to know who did it... he'd kill them, and he knew that kevala probably wouldn't want that. "I'm so sorry" Victor said, taking a deep breath "I wish there was some way I could help you" he said, his arm now lowering as he shook his head thinking to himself

She did not know how to react to the anger in his tone. She started to try and say something. Wishing to jump in and defend Katsuri. But honestly. She did not know where he was, or why he had left. Just just knew that he had said he loved her and then just like that he was gone.
His hand upon her chin broke her train of thought, her head being lifted to allow her gaze, now swimming with tears she struggled not to let fall, meet his own once more.
"It is alright Victor. There is no need for you to be sorry. I have been doing alright thus far, it is hard, scary and sometimes rather lonely. But in the end I shall manage."
She forced a smile to tug at the edges of her lips as she shrugged gently.
"It is not as though I have much choice in the matter."
Her small hand now reaching out to gently touch upon his arm, soft fingers brushing against his flesh as she allowed that smile to grow a bit more, despite the single tear which had escaped her eye and now rolled down her cheek.
"I will be fine. I promise. But thank you for your concern. It means alot to me."

Victor's anger quickly subsided as he saw her face... she loved him, and perhaps he loved her... there where always two sides to a story right? right... Victor just shook his head, a little unknowing smirk on ihs lips as his hand rolled up from her chin to wipe the tear off her cheek as it fell. "I understand... you're a strong girl, moreso than I think I originally gave you credit for" Victor said, choosing his words carefully as he smiled at her, in a way he was proud of her... he knew girls who would have given up under much less pressure.
he figured someone ought to reward her for that in some way.
"are you busy? cause if you want I was thinking we could go somewhere nice, catch up a little and just hang out you know?" Victor offered with a smile

She would smile as she saw the anger fade. His hand wiping away that tear getting a nuzzle before she could stop herself. She could not help it. She was an affectionate creature to say the least. But soon enough she caught herself and would pull her head away. That smile still there however.
Then as he spoke she would shrug softly.
"I did have another meeting to attend. But it is not that important. I have time for something like that. The nanny has been paid up until this evening.
What did you have in mind?"
She did not think herself strong. She felt weak. Weak because of her loneliness, because of her sadness. Because she had let herself get hurt so badly. But she did like the idea of getting out for a bit. It had been a long time since she just had fun.
