Alexis was laying on a bench inside the school hallway. All the students went to class, but she just stayed there. Now, she was that one she never wanted to be. She was the girl who didn't let anyone in, unless they were going to sleep with her. It was her way of getting affection without having to let anyone in. Also, she was the cold hearted bitch that stated her blunt opinion in rude manors to get people to shut the fuck up and leave her alone.
Alone.
That is all she needed right? Obviously that is what who ever had planned her life wanted it to be that way.
"Hey sexy... how you say we get together some time?" Alexis didn't look at the boy, she just merely nodded her head.
"Meet you in the janitors closet." she looked up to see the boy stare in disbelief. He was good looking, but no where near what she would look in a guy... No where near Gabriel. He smiled when she didn't say "just kidding" or anything of the nature and he left down towards a closet. She watched him enter it and she sat up. Used... she was being used and she let it happen. But in this way, she wasn't getting hurt by it. She was using them too. She was using them to feel alive... where as when she let Gabriel in... when she felt he used her, it hurt far more. She learned from her mistake, she won't let anyone in.
She looked over to see a boy. She didn't know who it was, but something about him drew her attention towards him. Alexis stood and walked near the janitors closet. She grabbed a school chair that stood outside a class and shoved it under the knob. Why? Because she was that bitch now. Her green gaze stared at the boy.
"Who are you..."

Eyes settled on the youthful image of Alexis, his love, Gabriel's love. Sky sombered up giving a relatively neutral face in response reading over her empty complection. She looked as if she was on the edge of death, a part of him weakened, she hadn't gotten the message he'd left. A mental tear struck him, she had to be notified as to not befall the same fate as Olivia had. Sky inched closer a calm facade about him as his crimson eyes took to new life a gentler side.
"I'm..Sky." He said hoarsly unable to manage anything more.
"You are of course Alexis Green...." He made a soft smile turning to pass her by in a calm manner. He'd hope that she'd stop him, I mean what stranger knows your name and then leaves?
"They're never gone until you've given up..." He'd whisper out slowly feeling Olivia's spirit guiding him this time. He was closer to her now than ever before.

"You are of course Alexis Green...."
She then shot him a glare. Alexis had never met this "Sky" person before. Let alone the fact she wasn't popular enough to have her name spread amongst the student body. Whole body now, was tensed. She just didn't want to take any more shit from anyone.
"They're never gone until you've given up..." his words were a quiet whisper, but they rang in her ears as if they were screamed from the top of his lungs.
"What..what did you fucking say?" the guy was probably a little crazy... yet again, everything to Alexis was a riddle. That note left from Gabriel. She didn't know what it meant... she needed to talk to Reira about that, but what was she supposed to ask? It was all just a riddle.
"How do you know my name? I don't recall ever meeting you or giving my name to you... if anything I wouldn't want to tell you my real name. So, how. do. you. know my name?"
Alexis' patience was low as of late. Anything can trigger it... she wouldn't be calmed until she got Gabriel back, but he was gone for good. No luck will be with being her true self again. No body wanted her real personality, might as well soften the blow when no one wants her because she acts like a bitch towards them and deserves their ignorance.

Sky turned about to face her again, an almost angry spout off of her, he forced away a smile. It'd been so long since he'd been without her, to the extent that he'd been losing a fair amount of sleep. A subtle hand raised up unconsciously aimed to stroke her hair as he'd always done yet resisted and brushed away one of his own locks of hair calmly.
"Lets just say I'm a bit of an admirer, and old friend..." he'd express in a calm and quiet nod fairly assured that she'd take the statement entirely wrong.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be a bother."

"Lets just say I'm a bit of an admirer, and old friend..."
Alexis had managed to push people away from her life from simple lies that she had made herself believe.... but this was different. What he said sent chills down her spine. Old friend?
Her mind raced back to when she lived in Brisbane, she wasn't friends with guys back then. That, and he didn't have an Australian accent. Back in Alaska, she was trying to think of one night stands... but her one night stands were never only one night, so she would have known him.
The only thing familiar with Sky was the way he carried himself... and his presence. It would seem he was the kind of guy she would want to hang out with or something of the likes, but not now. She couldn't bring herself to making anymore friends. Less friends meant less ways of getting hurt.
But what he said was alluding...
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be a bother."
"No." her emerald eyes stared deep into his crimson gaze. Those eyes tore at her sanity. Those eyes were his. Well.. they were after he had to get surgery when Alexis found him amongst rubble... but they belonged to Gabriel none the less.
And that might very well be why she didn't just leave Sky in the middle of the hallway.
I want his eyes to look at me the way Gabriel did.
She would have to recede back to the girl she created in Alaska... she just wanted someone similar for some time. Sex with strangers would usually keep her mind off of him... well, not entirely, but it was always an attempt to clear her mind when jogging failed... but with Sky... he seemed familiar enough.
Alexis took a step forward..then another. Only inches away from him. "Admirer?" now being this close to him struck her even more hard. His height... his size... it was uncanny. "Please demonstrate..." her voice was a quiet whisper. She didn't want to do this to Gabriel... but it was all she had. She wanted that look he gave her again.

The immediate attraction that had caught him months ago in Europe struck once more now only magnified tenfold due to the time of seperation, knees felt crippled and weak dispite his increased training. Everything about him was labored, his heartbeat thickened and his breath caught up in his throat as he stared at her as he alwasys had inching closer.
"Alexis.." The low whisper resembled an old accented voice that'd once been his though never entirely the same.
Lips inches apart as he would bleed and die to simply touch her now. They were so very close he could break this one rule couldn't he? Just once it would hurt no one at all. Staring into her perfect emerald eyes he flinched backing away at the last moment.
"I'm sorry... I can't trust myself." He turned away walking at a furious pace down the hallway. Each fall of his boots with a hammerfall. He was furious with himself, he had to deal with matters first. NO this was why Olivia had died because he couldn't put her above his ambitions. It enraged him at the interwebbings of turmoil that seeked to tear loose from his cranium.

Their lips only inches apart now.. she closed her eyes and felt the warmth radiate from his body... Her ears picked up every breath he took and it sent chills down her spine.
"Alexis.."
And that was enough to drive her crazy. Was she doing it again. Lying to herself...telling her mind he was Gabriel to the point his voiced nearly mirrored her late love. Suddenly it all slipped away from her.
"I'm sorry... I can't trust myself."
Embarrassment ensued... her face went hot and red when she opened her eyes to see him walk away... as fast as he could. She fell to her knees and watched him leave.
"Gabriel, don't go..."
You said you would never leave me....
of course she didn't realize she said his name and not Sky's. Kind of like that situation where you call out the wrong name during sex.... Her mind was just on Gabriel, not the stranger that had rejected her chance of getting close to him again.
Just when she thought she was emptied of all her tears, more came. Slowly, but they were still there, small trails left on her red cheeks.

He froze mid-step, never too far away of course. His mind racing with a sudden fear. No one was lucky enough to catch the name coming off of her lips but of course what would it matter, everyone knew Gabriel was dead.
Sky nodded slowly, 'I promised I'd never leave you...'
He turned around slowly coming to her in a slow manner. Did he let down his guard? Of course not, but he wasn't entirely lessoned to the state of his old personna. Sky knelt to the floor wrapping his arms around her protectivly as he always had but now he'd lift her up into his arms and carry wer off pressing a hand to her head to burry the small woman into his shoulder.
"Please...Trust me.." He'd say slowly acknowledging the current situation.
The bells rang and class was in session, good no one would notice the pair dissappear from the scene. There was much to be told and Sky didn't know if he still had it in him.
He carried the small woman off, not to a rich luxurious car, or motorbike that Gabriel would have driven. In fact the man simply kept on walking until he'd reached the woods. In exile he'd been living for quite some time. Honing himself away from society, from everything that flustered the mind.
He'd set her down on his makeshift bed and settle himself a good foot away. The distance almost causing him physical pain.

He came back.. now she felt more embarrassed. He wrapped his arms around her and she could almost remember the way Gabriel held her. She missed him with every inch of herself.
"Please...Trust me.."
She didn't have a choice. Alexis was in a weakened state, depressed and drained of life from crying every night. Yes, that pathetic. He was a lot stronger than her, yet how he held her was gentle, but still held power over her. She couldn't fight... now getting more and more scared when he walked away from the school and into a forest.
Normally when a stranger carried you away and lays you on a makeshift bed away from civilization, you would be scared and try to run away... but parts of her were telling her to do as he asked...and trust him.
Now she sat there, huffing a little from a few tears and still a little scared as to what was going on. So many feelings were flooding her she didn't know how to control it. Anger... sadness... fear... pain.
"I don't understand this..."
Might be a specific question to him, but it was in so much more depth for her. She was trying to understand her feelings toward this stranger. How come she felt so comfortable with him? How come he reminded her so much of Gabriel...How come she wasn't screaming her ass off scared for rape? Alexis could just stare at him.. her eyes a bright green, the green that would come when her eyes were wet of tears.

"It's okay... You will soon enough." Sky would say simply in a dark voice remaining were he sat finding it hard to look at her with those eyes, how guilty he felt. Again he'd betrayed her and left her alone to suffer without him.
He knew all too well what that felt like when Olivia had dissappeared, although this time now he understood that Alexis was more to him than Olivia. She'd stood by him to travel to Europe, she'd held close when he was injured beyond plausible repair, and even when he left for a woman that hadn't felt the same about him she lie there the victim at his own cause still willing to be with him. Gabriel didn't deserve her.
"Though I'm not sure if I'm the one who should have to tell you..." He said cautiously, she deserved the truth.
Was he being conservative or simply cowardly. Perhaps a bit of both. Gabriel was essentially a weak hearted man, incapable of living without love. And there she was on the edge still waiting for him to reply.
"Have you seen the photo album?" it was almost a dead give-away unless of course she hadn't.

"Though I'm not sure if I'm the one who should have to tell you..."
More riddles. She couldn't wrap her head around it. Tell her what? Who would have to tell her what? She just stared at him, her mouth closed and not saying a word, waiting for him to carry on.
"Have you seen the photo album?"
Fear washed over her body. How did he know about the photo album... was he referring to the note Gabriel left? She Wiggled an inch away from him. She would have gone further, but for some reason didn't. He was an admirer? Was he a stalker? Alexis opened her mouth to speak, but paused and closed it again. What was she supposed to say to this?
"Yes... What do you know?" her voice was shaky, scared absolutely shitless.

Sky stood now, not intending to frighten her only to calm and dissuade her steady retreat. His hands would raise silently in surrender showing he intended no harm unto her. Already he could see where he mind was pointing towards all thing bad.
"Gabriel Seran isn't dead..." He'd say calmly enough only closing a small distance.
"I'm an old friend of his... He sent me to keep an eye on you" Sky was able to squeek out the small lie easily enough hoping of course he'd left no more holes in his story of course there was still Reira.
"Please don't tell anyone, his life is still in potential danger." His words were now a bit flurried in an attempt to silence any word of this to anyone.

"Gabriel Seran isn't dead..."
Her face twisted with anger. What kind of sick joke was this? She stood now, staring at him. Her heart turned and ached from such words. Why would anyone say something like that.
"I'm an old friend of his... He sent me to keep an eye on you. Please don't tell anyone, his life is still in potential danger."
She was having a hard time understanding this. Would he do that? Would he disappear and give her no word of where he was? Would he leave her to suffer alone, believing he was dead?
"Where is he?" her breath was trying to steady and stay calm, but she was getting angry. If he was lying and making this up, she definitely would find a way to hurt him. "If he is alive? Where is he!" she was losing her control, her voice loud. Clenching her teeth and fist she stared at him. If he was alive, why was he hiding from her? Was she that un trust worthy? He had to send a 'friend' to tell her not to tell anyone. If she knew he was in danger, she wouldn't dare tell anyone... but clearly he didn't understand that. He obviously had no trust in her.
She would close the distance now, looking up at him. With her balled up fists she would hit him in the chest. Not enough to harm him, but enough to get the point through, then she did the same with the other fist. "Where is he!? I want him back." and she kept hammering at his chest.. she couldn't stop she just wanted to know. "I need him... Why is he hiding from me!?" she grabbed a fist full of his shirt in each hand and slowly sunk back down to the ground, her hand sliding and holding on to his lower pant leg on either side. "I want him back..." her voice broke to a silent plea... tears once again returning. This could very well be a sick joke still... but her love for him was marring that chance and filling her hopes up high.

Sky would take the beating with a look of patient understanding, his heart wrenched each fall of her fists against him knowing he couldn't tell her himself, not now at least. She had to be patient as well for him.
Sky fell with her, hands ate the lengths of her arms as she lowered his love to the floor, him there before her meeting at the center. A hand placed on her cheeck very warm and comforting as he'd wipe away her tears.
"A non ma belle... He is here..." Finally he broke being unable to stand this charade any longer.
A grip entwining in her hair comforted by the distance now. He was sad for what he'd put her through, but for Blaze to be so sure of his death this was a necessary step towards the ascent. Crouching Gabriel would coddle her close unwavering.
"Please don't cry, I never left you...I'll always be here..."

He knelt and grabbed hold of her. What he said next made her heart sink. Happiness overwhelmed her. They were his eyes.. the comforting feeling was with him... How did he manage it all... Make David believe he had killed him.
"It's you...?" she looked into his eyes and smiled, tears still cascading down her porcelain skin. It was all too good to be true. How she would have given the universe to have him alive again, and here he was.. in front of her and holding her in his arms. "You ass hole." she laughed a little, grabbing his face, each hand cupped a cheek. Looking at him more, she could definitely see him in his features. Barely noticeable, only connectible if you were told, and she was therefore she could see it. Almost to the point she felt stupid for not seeing it earlier... but hey, props for having those feelings and being reminded of Gabriel with 'Sky'.
She leaned closer to him, pressing her lips to his. Closing her eyes, feeling the way it felt when Gabriel was Gabriel... he would keep kissing him, even wanting to work her tongue to his. She missed him, it had been too long since she had seen him. If he hadn't pulled away, she would after a few moments and stare into his eyes.
"What kind of name is Sky?" she asked, with a breathy laugh.
