Ah, yes, if there was any place that one would be most surprised to see Cain at, it would be the library. The peaceful, silent and, as I repeat to emphasise, peaceful library. Cain was, after all, generally known as a young boy who simply loved the thrill and adrenaline of pure hardcore combat. That is, if he was generally known yet. Though, he had met a few that he had known before, Gabriel, Matrim and Emily to list out. And he even met the man named Leon, though that was pretty much planned by his employer, Chrynos. Cain sighed as he sat upon the seat in the library, his bag placed upon the chair on his right, his blue hair covering his face with his head down as he gazed upon the book on The Three Kingdoms Of China.
He was clad in a white shirt, his black vest placed upon the table in front of his bag, his blue denim jeans hugging his legs quite well, giving him a more comfortable attire as he sat down upon the wooden chair, which would definitely be more than uncomfortable when sat upon naked; not to mention, cold. He chuckled at that thought, before shaking his head, driving away the distracting chain of thoughts, focusing once more upon the book. First week of school and he was already tasked with homework. Being a new guy, he, of course, was the easiest to kick out of the school. Cain wanted to strengthen his presence here, both among the students and the staff. No, he was not going to start licking the teacher's boot. He was simply gonna keep his grades up to a level where they'd have no proper excuse to kick him out.
He sighed, taking a break then as he leaned back against his chair, his hand coming up to cover his fair face, rubbing his eyes a bit. Well, he was tired, that's for sure. And bored too. He looked up a bit, glancing at everyone in the library. There was not much present, though that did not surprise Cain much. He had been here quite enough to know just what kind of school this was. And it was definitely more interesting than 552. Then, his eyes came upon this Asian girl who just entered the library, his lack of focus in his mind causing him to subconsciously follow the girl with his hazel irises, not realising what he was doing until she looked back at him, if she ever did, that is.

At 259, the library was usually a vacant area, void of any form of life, excluding the librarian and herself, and a bookworm slash nerd that would wander in for the sake of some peace and quiet. Granted, there were days when there were more students than usual, but they were generally the same students that popped up every once in a blue moon. So...they were generally familiar faces. When she stepped into the library, bag slung over one shoulder, her shoulders relaxed and she felt a bit more at home. The smell of worn down books was always pleasant to the young Asian; it had the same effect as the scent of coffee. Soothing... Had the power to placate nerves. She turned to go to her usual spot, only to find that it was already taken. Well, it's not like it had her name on it anyway, but...
She stared back at the boy. Unusual? Possibly. One would normally turn away when caught staring or catches others staring, but Mitsuki kept her gaze firm on the boy. He looked completely foreign to her, meaning she had never seen him up here before. Regardless, if he hadn't done so already, she would break her gaze and head on over to an empty table - well, there were many - and set her backpack down. It was then that she realized she wasn't greeted by the librarian, which was odd, because the librarian was always sitting in front of the computer at the help desk near the entrance unless--...
She quietly sighed. Though, in the silence of the library, the sigh may have sounded louder than expected. There's a rule where it says you shouldn't run in the library, but she figured this would be an exception. At the help desk, she grabbed a set of keys - that the librarian would normally never leave behind - and ran to the study rooms. She unlocked all the doors and checked each room for the librarian, but he was no where to be found! Mitsuki openly frowned.
There was really no one else in the library, and she figured the boy might know...
"...hey, have you seen the librarian?" she asked.
Unknown to them, the librarian was in a closet, sleeping soundlessly against the door. His hair a mess, his hands tied behind his back, the rope held together with super glue, his shoes colored on by permanent markers, face decorated with stickers... It only happened once in a while, but still. Whenever it happened....
...that librarian really needs to grow a backbone...

And for a considerable period of time, the eyes of the library's only two customers locked onto each other, though she broke the gaze soon enough. Cain knew not why he held upon the stare. It was that when she stared back, Cain could not find himself looking away. No, he was not caught in the beauty of her. It was more like, Cain was unwilling to back off. After all, he could not hit a girl, but he could always do battle with them in less physical ways. A stare-off was one. And it seemed that Cain won this unofficial one. At that, he turned back to the book that lay silently in front of him.
However, his concentration would soon be broken as the female let out an audible sigh, the junior glancing up from his book towards the source's direction, his eyebrows raising at the gesture. What was wrong? At that, she started to run around the library. Of course, the curious Cain followed her movements. She grabbed a set of keys, to which Cain furrowed his eyebrows to. Who was she and what was she up to? At that, she opened the study rooms one by one, at least an action he could make out barely from where he was. Letting out a soft sigh of his own, he turned back to his book.
And once more, his concentration was stopped in its tracks as the female approached him, asking a question this time. For the third time, Cain looked up at her. The librarian? It was then that it struck Cain too, as the junior glanced around, looking for the missing individual. Well, he was nowhere to be found in plain sight. And considering the female's apparently-thorough search, she had trouble finding him too. He turned back to her, before shaking his head.
"Actually, no. The door was open so I thought I'd make myself home, kinda."
He pushed his chair back, his hands placing themselves upon the edge of the table for leverage. At that, he stood up, giving a soft grunt as he did. Well, since he was the only other one here, he might as well help out right.
"Well, he's got to be here somewhere, right?"

Once she heard an answer come from the male, she turned and started making her way towards the teacher meeting rooms that were near the back of the library. She heard the male push back his chair, and she was thankful for the help, but the search shouldn't last too long. But...his words got cut off when she heard multiple voices approach the scene, which meant that there were students actually coming up to the library. Thing is, they were familiar voices, and Mitsuki's eyes hardened once she realized who the voices belonged to. With a change of direction, she headed towards the entrance, her right hand flexing repeatedly with a somewhat ferocity as if she were about to attack whoever walked through the room. But no; starting a fight was not her intention. Getting information out of them, however, was.
The first male that walked through the room would find himself suddenly face to face with the young Asian female. Her hand would have grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him in so abruptly that not even a protest would escape his lips. He knew he was in bit shit when he saw Mitsuki in front of him, especially because the last time they got caught, they would have gotten a good beating if it weren't for the librarian. She shoved him against the wall, wary that there were others behind him - four or five - but she did not see them as a thread.
"Librarian," she spoke, her voice firm and clear.
[Mitsuki?]
...what was that?
...hnnh..
The boy said nothing. He was shaking, and looked to his friends for help, but they didn't know what to do.
Too bad they didn't know Mitsuki wasn't going to hurt them.
"...are you testing my patie-"
[MISS PARK~! NO VIOLENCE~~]
Mitsuki let go. Her senses were dulled, but she definitely heard that. She went directly to the source of the sound by yanking open a closet door to find Mr. Davidson, his eyes crescent moons from smiling at the sight of a familiar face. Stupid librarian; now is not the time to be smiling. She did a quick scan to see if there were any serious injuries, but she couldn't find any. Just a bunch of stickers on his face, colorful shoes and rope with glue.
[Wow! I took a long nap...]
She sighed.
She turned to the boy.
"Can you grab a pair of scissors from the front desk? I think they glued the rope against the wall," she spoke, an apologetic look on her face. She could just rip him off the wall, but Mr. Davidson was such a fragile man... She started working on the rope. Complex knots, anyone?

Cain, however, never got to finish his statement, as he was soon accompanied by other voices. His eyes shot towards the door, just like Mistuki's did. At that moment, Cain could only watch in awe as the female flickering towards the direction of the sound with much agility and speed, before following after her, his footsteps well-paced and placed as he caught up with her in no time. And boy, was he welcomed with an amusing sight. There, in front of him, the girl was pinning a boy against the wall, the expression on his face telling Cain much indeed. This girl was someone not to be messed with, it seemed. Hell, the boy looked like he was going to pee in his pants, and such an action in a school like this, Cain figured, was pretty rare. Just who was she. Slowing himself down to a stop, he kept his eye instead on the other four that were present, all of which were unsure of what to do. After all, Cain was standing right by Mistuki. She was no longer alone in this fight.
Cain grinned, watching as they stood their ground, refusing to risk their life, it seemed, for their friend. Good choice indeed. Not that Cain was that egoistical, but considering how these guys were acting, he figured he could take them down on his own. And with the girl's help, it'll be a sweatless task indeed. She spoke, then, her voice as sharp as dagger, as simple as it sounded. He turned towards the boy, who stayed silent and shivering, unable to get himself to speak. However, instead of getting an answer from him, Cain's sharp ears picked up a different voice instead. His eyebrows furrowed as he turned now towards the source, though finding no obvious physical being to match the voice to. The girl continued to threaten, Cain's hazel eyes instead focusing on the space from which the name had emerged from.
And there it went again, addressing the female more clearly this time. Miss Park, huh? His eyes shot towards then the precise position of their mysterious company, a closet at the corner. Just as he was about to step forward, though, the girl simply stomped past him, making her way already towards it. Cain stopped in his tracks, giving a soft grin then as he turned towards the five boys instead, his left hand entering his pocket. He heard the obvious sound of the door opening and looked over his shoulder, finding a naive smiling librarian who looked far from fine hidden in the closet. Ah, a prank. Cain should have figured that.
It was then that Cain's presence was acknowledged once more by the female, as she gestured for him to get a pair of scissors. Giving a soft nod and a sigh, he turned back towards the five males, that smile still plastered upon his face, adorning it quite well as he casually paced past them, towards the front desk. Slowly but surely, the five boys slid their shoes across the ground, not wanting to see what this blue-haired junior was capable of. At that, Cain grabbed the scissors from the front desk, before walking back towards the girl, utterly ignoring the five troublemakers then. Of course, he was ready if they were brave enough to make a move.
"Here."
The blue-haired fighter spoke as he reached his right hand forward towards Mitsuki, the scissors hanging upon his index finger by one of the loops.
