(OOC: Gabe and Matrim then if anyone else wishes I suppose. )
It was mid day, class had just ended and it was time for lunch. Kev would make her way outside, looking about as she spotted the big tree off to the side of the school. The one with the bench beneath it.
Good nobody there. She had been waiting to sit there all morning. Relax in the peace and quiet.
Today she was dressed in a rather stunning little outfit, a black tank top and a mini-skirt to match. Every inch of it holding to her trim and curvaceous form. Combine that with the straight, long brown locks falling about her features and the complexion of her delicate flesh and you had about the hottest little number in school today.
She always did like to dress surprisingly from time to time. Never knew what you were gonna get from Kev.
Moving to take a seat upon the bench she would cross her legs, her skirt riding up enough to make any male with a pulse wonder just what lay only inches higher. Heh..Such the tease.
Leaning back she would sigh softly, those striking violet eyes (contacts of course) would look about now. Simply watching for anyone who may happen to approach, or in the case she had missed somebody standing nearby.

"And how is our Ms. School Newsletter herself doing on a fine day such as this?" Matrim would say, approaching her in some casual wear, jeans, a white button down t-shirt, and nothing else. And when I say nothing else, that includes any form of socks or shoes. He would walk up and sit next to her on the bench, "You know wearing a skirt like that is one way to attract attention. Sometimes unwanted attention from the male types, or maybe it's wanted, who knows." He said giving a wink and laughing.
Leaning back he said, "So are you have a positive experience so far? I always wonder what happens whenever I choose pillars, whether I'm putting them in danger, or whether they don't necessarily think I'm being a good Captain, stuff like that. Call me a softy but that's just how I am when it comes to Pillarship."
Hopefully she hasn't had too much trouble with that title. Most people can't handle the bullseye on their back, but with me here protecting them, I think it helps.... or at least, I hope it helps. Mitsukai's progressing nicely, I hope this girl is getting stronger too.

School, an absolutely inconspicuous place to be at the current time. But of course with a track record on either of your personalities one was inclined to draw stares upon occasion. Sky entered through the front having chosen sleeping in as opposed to joining his first period class and bothering them with his good graces but now it was time for lunch. Apparently too much sleep meant no class at all. For the remainder of the day he'd be left with only two. Psychology and US History. Fun day he supposed, excusing himself towards the back of the school he squinted as the adjusted light hit his visionaries.
Of course he'd be one to dress in all black on the hottest day so far. A few degrees off his usual sunny Californian day he half expected the cloud cover from the sea to take in a new light. But of course fate would have it that he got the short end of the stick. A small amused smirk, no fate but what we make.
And there was Kevala and...Matrim..? Was he up to rape again? A small chuckle coiled through his ribs as he turned away knowing his best option for everyone's sake was to walk away from this rather than doing something stupid he was sure to regret. Kev could handle herself, she did choose to take up his training after all.

And the next thing she knew, there was Matrim. A smile curling onto her lips as he took a seat beside her. His comment on her skirt getting a little shrug from her as she laughed soflty.
"I do not worry about the attention. I dont get noticed too much."
It was true, she always seemed to fly under the radar for the most part. With the exception of a few people who were out to get her.
But then came the question about the way things have gone for her since taking the title. Well, now that she thought about it, things had been going pretty good for her. Well with the exception of Sky and that whole situation.
"Things have been......good. Heh. I mean it did cause a bit of a problem with my trainer at the time but nothing I cannot......."
Her words trailed off as who should appear but the devil himself. Instant emotion flooding her features as she sent that gaze over him. God damnit!!! This was supposed to be over with. Were the Gods out to strike her down this day???!!!
That gaze settling upon him for a long moment before she noted him turning away. Unable to stop herself from letting out a heavy sigh and lowering her eyes from him to her hands in her lap.
Again! What the hell was she expecting!? He probably wanted nothing to do with her!
~STOP IT~
She had to get a hold of herself damnit!

(OOC: Matrim has never raped anyone, nor would Gabriel have been present if he ever did. Just so everyone's clear on this fact.)
"I do not worry about the attention. I dont get noticed too much." She said, and Matrim nodded along.
That's good. To some extent, I hope she's doing her job though.
"Things have been......good. Heh. I mean it did cause a bit of a problem with my trainer at the time but nothing I cannot......." Matrim stopped looking where she was looking, over at a boy Matrim didn't quite recognize. It was like you felt like you know the person from somewhere but you couldn't quite place them. That sort of thing happened to Matrim a lot, like with that Jeremiah kid from 42.
"Who's that? An ex or something?" Matrim asked taking notice as to who she was looking at, "You know if he's causing you problems I could just have him killed as School Captain.... not really but I'm sure the thought is comforting, yeah?"
He laughed a little, waiting to get the skinny on this guy from Kevala.

Not a problem, what was he doing again oh right luncheons! Sky disappeared around the corner not bothering to join the company of old friends. Instead he'd rather associate with a group of relativity newer students their young and impressionable faces turned up in curiosity as Sky looked down at them. There was a sense of yearning in his eyes to be so naive and gentle, but there was also that remembrance of fear and subtle shock at every small threat.
"Hello..." He'd say slowly and so very unsure of himself in this one instant.
All he got in return were meek replies, they were new and very afraid of a school in which the masses were looked upon as tools for ones one succession. Of course he'd been guilty of that in the past even more recently but he'd hoped somewhere down the lines if even now he could repent for such foul deeds.
"Hey.. why don't you all join me instead of lying back here?" A small reassuring smile to them as they meekly followed him out into the open.
A lone table settled there, there were four of them joining him; a small boy about 5'6" named Mark, a tall brunette by the name of Jenna, twins Joseph and Isabelle. All of them were freshman. Each wore their fears on their arms and a sort of respect in their eyes. Trust was a powerful thing.

And then he was gone. A little whimper catching at the back of her throat as she let her eyes fall away and then turn back to Matrim.
"His name is Sky Dalten. He is...was...my trainer."
She let out a little sigh. Not sure what else to say other than that. Until of course the offer came to cause harm to Sky. Though she seriously doubted that was possible, she did not like the idea none the less.
"But no. I do not need him taken care of in any way. No harm to befall him."
It was obvious that she cared for the guy. Her eyes and her words spoke of such. A slight glance given to Matrim before she would bite down onto her lower lip.
"He is one of the strongest fighters around here anyways. It was why I initially asked to train with him. I mean, after Gabriel almost killed me and after Katsuri left me, I needed somebody strong to train with. He was it."
Another glance back in the direction that Sky had gone. A little sigh once more passing her lips as she debated on what to do. Finally she would turn to Matrim and smile before shaking her head.
"You know. I should really go talk to him. I mean, I dont want him to hate me for choosing to train with you. I should just see how he is taking the whole thing.
I will give you a call later to set up a time to train."
With that she would grab her bag, and stand up, giving another soft smile and wave before she would head off toward the direction Sky had gone. Stopping as she laid eyes on him and grinning as she leaned against the wall.
"Scaring the new kids huh?"
She was taking a gamble talking to him like such, but what the hell. Not like he could hate her anymore than she was worried he did right now.

"His name is Sky Dalten. He is...was...my trainer. But no. I do not need him taken care of in any way. No harm to befall him."
"You got it," He said wondering about the guy a bit.
"You know. I should really go talk to him. I mean, I dont want him to hate me for choosing to train with you. I should just see how he is taking the whole thing. I will give you a call later to set up a time to train." She said, and Matrim stood up.
"I'll come with, I'd like to meet the guy," Matrim said. Following her to him.
"Scaring the new kids huh?"
Matrim would appear behind her, "Hey my name's Matrim, I've heard a lot about you Sky. Kev here say's you're quite the teacher," He didn't really hear anything like that necessarily from her, but it was always polite to say something along those lines.

"Scaring the new kids huh?"
The burnt out orbs behind his eyes lids turned up towards her silhouette, magnified by the sun it was hard to tell whom exactly it was, but then again not to much surprise the sun almost seemed blocked out now.
"More like conversing... I'd rather avoid more excitable characters around here..." Sky said simply in a blunt context looking back to the awkward bushel of freshmen sitting there eating their own trays of food.
Their eyes would every now and again tour upwards to take an easy glance at the newcomers only to shy away with another glance thinking they'd somehow outsmarted everyone. A small grin placed on Sky's face before disappearing.
"Hey my name's Matrim, I've heard a lot about you Sky. Kev here say's you're quite the teacher,"
Sky didn't reply immediately rather he absolved himself simply. Curiosity killed the cat Matrim. Though Sky wasn't here to fight nor get upset over spilled milk, he was as he'd always been prepared for the future of things to come.
"Wouldn't know where you got that impression... merely 2nd rate." He said softly setting aside his pride as Sky returned to his own lunch giving the freshman a gesture as to not be worried. Perhaps his aversion was a rude gesture, but it was simply him.

She was stung by those words. They may have come off as neutral to some, but to her they were hurtful. She lowered her head, letting out a little sigh as she bit down on her lip. Just as Matrim spoke up.
She would again shake her head as she heard Sky's reply. She was not going to let this get to her, not going to let this get to her.
~It already is you idiot~
Yeah, it was. She would try hard to hide it though. Simply letting her eyes remain down and away from his own. She had enough stuff to worry about at the moment, but on top of it all, her mind could not let this thing with Sky go.
She felt so horrible about it all. But for now she would say nothing. Just lean there against the wall and bite her lip. Not wishing to have any more hurtful remarks thrown her way.

"Wouldn't know where you got that impression... merely 2nd rate." The guy said, and Matrim couldn't help but notice that Kevala was somewhat quiet and seemed to be distracted by something, as if she was a bit hurt or confused. Maybe she was just uncomfortable with the two of them conversing.
"Don't knock yourself," Matrim said, "After all I'm sure you did a good job teaching them why we avoid stepping on glass," Matrim was trying to get a bit of a rise. Ever since Mitsukai told him about that he was a bit curious, "I mean, I think it's a lesson we should all learn, I personally have always been an enthusiast in the act against broken glass. Always remember to sweep it off the floor whenever I break a drinking glass or when I accidentally hit a light bulb with the mop handle."
"Also strait jacket training is completely under rated these days...." He said nodding with a blank look on his face.

Of course Sky didn't shift from his position not to look at Kev nor address the man at his back trying to stir up trouble. He didn't care if those secrets from his past were revealed because in time it wouldn't matter. It's not as though Matrim had been there through it all, he'd merely seen the ends by which Gabriel had attained his power. The means however took hardships and while the methods were a bit behind current trends he sought fit to stand by them and grow from it as such.
"A sarcastic person has a superiority complex that can be cured only by the honesty of humility." Sky said shortly without even bothering to address his face he rather sat there eating his sandwich offering a small smile towards Mark who looked a bit on ends.
His small chubby face aimed down at Sky while his fists lie clenched in protest, there was a certain spirit within him that was akin to his own emotions but they would better not to be shown here. A shake of his head and that reassuring smile dropped Mark into a sense of false ease, his fist unballing and resting on the table the other ruffled in his jacket whisking the cold away.
"As much as I loved this visit I'd appreciate the peace, thank you."

MEN!!! GAH!!! So fueled with testosterone and pig headedness. OKay, so she had openly admitted to caring for Sky when she knew that such a thing was a lost cause. Oh well excuse the fuck out of her for thinking that it might be nice for Mr Loner to have the knowledge that even though she knew she could never be with him that she still cared for him.
She even got him being upset about her not wanting to train with him anymore. But to down right treat her like she was...was.......nothing?
BAH!!!
Then Matrim. Trying to get a rise out of Sky. Using stuff that obviously Mistu had told him. That was just....just......CHILDISH.
What the fuck?!
She would growl lightly. Her right hand shooting out and punching Matrim in the arm as hard as her little body could. Shaking her head and then pushing away from the wall and casting a glance at him as she started to move.
"Sometimes I wonder why I even put up with you boys and your power plays."
She would then move over and brush her hand across the boys shoulder who was seated with Sky. Leaning down and speaking to him as she cast look toward Mr. Big and Bad. Her words a soft whisper, unable to be heard but enough to make the boy blush heavily.
She would then stand up, her brow raised as she looked between Matrim and Sky. Her hand still resting on the boys shoulder as she leaned on him. Not that he minded. I mean come on! Look at her! He thought he was lucky as hell!
A twisted little grin curling on her lips as she looked at Matrim and Sky. Her little mind working on things that it should not have been working on.
She would then lean down once more, her face coming close to Sky's as she gave that teasing little look once more.
"Just cause it makes you uncomfortable to know that I would take you to my bed and do all sorts of naughty things you could not handle. Does not mean you can be an ass to me for the rest of your life."
She would laugh softy as she felt a little shudder run through the guy she was leaning against. No doubt his mind going places now as well as his eyes. Not that she cared.
She would then stand back up and look to everyone there. An innocent little look falling on her face.
"Oh! Did I interrupt your little battle of the egos? I am sorry. Please continue to prove to the only female here and yourselves which one of you has the bigger dick biceps."

"Oh! Did I interrupt your little battle of the egos? I am sorry. Please continue to prove to the only female here and yourselves which one of you has the bigger dick biceps." And right then Matrim was tempted to bust out his... bicep to actually be done with this contest! But instead decided to laugh off what she said, realizing that everyone from 42 knew about Matrim's bicep anyway. While not as impressive as Winklewood, well I suppose we are getting off track here aren't we?
Matrim did take note of Kevala's behavior and he smirked at it. While such behavior never worked against him without the help of a very suggestive Qi, he couldn't argue the fact that it worked against others. He didn't know what she had been whispering but she did see reactions, mostly he thought of what the guy had said, "A sarcastic person has a superiority complex that can be cured only by the honesty of humility." Was what he had said and Matrim laughed thinking of the idea as if he wasn't honest. Humble not so much, but honesty was always a good policy.
"As much as I loved this visit I'd appreciate the peace, thank you."
"Would you now?" Matrim asked, "That's funny it doesn't sound like you have a very good opinion of me. I'm just trying to understand your methods of training. After all, I'd like to know what you were aiming for with their training." Matrim would circle the table, "But I'm getting off point here. What are the rest of you up to today?" He'd say kneeling down smiling at the kids, "Don't think I've met you all yet but I'm the School Captain and this is the head of the School Newsletter. My name's Matrim, hers is Kevala."
He'd then smile towards them all, including Sky. He got his sarcasm out of the way and the guy took it so he'd leave it at that and move onto bigger and better things.

Truth be told he didn't in fact Gabriel didn't hate Matrim he was merely disgusted by the man's personal choices in life. Of course it was essentially Gabriel's own instigations that forced this situation onto him but regardless he made those choices leaving him guilty; who chooses a title over his pregnant wife anyway? A leader would never do such a thing, therefore in Gabriel's mind Matrim was no leader, merely a coward out for his own ends.
Sky stared simply at the table pulling free a toothpick and siphoned it between his jaw picking it under his teeth and sealing the lips around it. His eyes wandered as he made a move, of course he acted like quite the politician corrupting those unsure youths who cringed at the thought of not obliging to each word. They were simply afraid, so much so standing out was out of the question.
Sky remained seated chewing at the edge of his toothpick suppressing all signs of emotion, his glare was constant and unwavering, absent of any thought aside from the motor functions of his own rhythmic chewing.
There was nothing wrong with this situation from anyone's viewpoints for sure, however Gabriel saw it as a bully playing nice to get his way. He expected a tantrum soon but regardless Sky kept his pokerface unsure of any actual changing future. Besides >_>
<_<
He sat down first =P
