And as Kevala went on, Cain's heart could not help but beat faster. Excitement was filling him, anticipation sending his heart into a frenzy. Truly, 259 was seemingly a heaven for him. Not only were there plenty of great fighters like Gabriel here, but the Dragons were present too. And with such incredibly dangerous people roaming the hallways, he knew that the pillars would have to be just a tad bit better to keep the peace around here. Cain knew that first hand, when he lost completely to Matrim, once again. He was certainly going to enjoy his time here. He now had the identity of the four pillars too. Matrim, Kevala, Sarah and Mitsukai. Wait, did she just say that Sarah was Matrim's wife? Ah, yes, Matrim had mentioned her before. It made him wonder again what had happened to Reira. Cain had yet to set himself to finding that out.
Not good fighters? Was she being serious, or was she just being modest? Personally, he was hoping that it was the latter, for he had been hoping to actually challenge the other pillars of the school. He sighed at first, lowering his head for a moment, before looking up at her. She was truly a well of information. With that in mind, Cain knew that this would not be the last time he was going to converse with her. And besides, with her being a pillar, Cain knew that they were going to definitely meet again in the future.
"Heh, yeah, I knew how that felt. I was offered the title of School Captain at my old school and it was a tad bit like 259 here, just a little less... Unbelievable. Heh. I had my issues then too. I took the title, cause I wanted change. The school needed change. And I set it going. Too bad things don't always go as you plan, huh?"
Cain glanced away once more. Yeah, he had tried to change everything, starting from the pillars that he had been entrusted with. He had challenged Jay, who was presumed to be strongest in 552 at one point, until Cain challenged him and ended the fight with a draw. It showed Jay that he no longer had supreme power over the student body, that he was no longer the strongest. It also helped Cain realise just how much he had improved, for it was just a month before did Jay beat Cain down in the hallways of his school.
"Speaking of which, you said Sarah was Matrim's wife, right? Do you happen to know a person named Reira? If so, could you tell me where I can find her now?"
Reira had become quite a good friend of his back in Point Hope High, though they lost contact as Cain was pulled out of the school due to some reasons best left unsaid. When he had returned, 42 had closed down, and everyone, it seemed, had transferred to other schools. Majority, as Cain had noticed, went to 259. Or in some cases, returned.

"I met her once a while back when I first moved here. But I believe she had left this place. I am not sure."
She was only sure of what she had heard. She would run her tongue over her lips. She was so tired and her body was in constant pain. But she was not about to show it.
No, she would just smile and cast another look up to him. She really was not as strong as one would expect her to be. No modesty held there when she spoke those words. The only reason she kept her title is because she was under Sudeki protection, dating Spike and had a very very vicious Gabriel after anyone who dare lay a hand on her.
He was like a brother to her. They were close and so far, anytime a person had harmed her, they had been lucky to escape his wrath. The man's rage spiking at the sight of her each time.
It was strange. Many people thought that they were a couple, that they were something secret and that they would one day be together. All rumors around the school would point to such.
"I am sorry I cannot be of more help on the matter. But I never got the chance to spend much time with her."
She would shrug softly and shake her head, a soft sigh passing her lips as she watched him now.

"I met her once a while back when I first moved here. But I believe she had left this place. I am not sure."
When she first moved here? Cain looked at Kevala, wondering just how long ago that was. Considering that she was a pillar already, it seemed that it had been quite a long time. That meant she had probably met Reira before 42, or Point Hope, at that. If that was the case, then... Reira had been from 259 too, just as Emily and Matrim? Cain nodded his head slowly, before shooting another question quickly.
"Sorry to probe, but how long is that ago, exactly?"
Why was Cain asking so much about Reira? Well, back in 42, the two had met accidentally, when Cain almost dropped his bag upon her head. From then, the two had struck quite a conversation and became quick good friends. They had met a couple of times after that too, and their friendship could only get better. In a way, Cain had small feelings for Reira, and upon hearing that Matrim was with Sarah instead of Reira, Cain could only fear the worst, for he knew from Reira that the two had been very close. Very close indeed.
"I am sorry I cannot be of more help on the matter. But I never got the chance to spend much time with her."
"It's ok. Any information is as helpful as any."
He smiled. He himself was an information monger, having quite a skill in gathering and filtering such data indeed. He never knew how he was able to do it, but he seemed to have a natural knack to know where to look, and what to look for. However, he had yet to start finding out what happened really to Reira. That is, until now, with Kevala's help. From there, he already found out that Reira had originally been from 259, and that she did not seem to have returned here with Matrim.
And from Matrim's reaction to the mention of her name, Cain knew that something had happened here.

She thought over his question. Trying to pull dates out of her mind and get a gist of what time frame she was looking at. It had been.......how long since she moved here? Gods it seemed like forever but in reality it had not been...
"Oh it has been about a year and half since I moved here."
She nodded, thinking once more. Yes, that seemed right. She would then shrug softly. A smile once more curling onto those soft lips as icy hues looked toward him once more.
"It was a brief meeting. I really dont know much. But if you seek out a girl named Mischa, she will be better at assisting you. She was roommates with Reira I believe and best friends. She above all others would know."
She nodded. It was the best she could do really. But it was better than nothing. At least she could point him in the right direction and perhaps give him some peace of mind on the matter.

"Oh it has been about a year and half since I moved here."
What? That didn't make sense. Cain just met Reira this year. And they had been in the same school before Moral Crest too, at Point Hope, for a brief period of six weeks when Cain left the school then, moving to Moral Crest. And it was there that they created a friendship, all from a fallen bag from the stands. Had she been from 259 then, before moving to Point Hope? Well, that was a possibility. With that in mind, Cain realised he had a lot to know about Reira than she had told him.
"It was a brief meeting. I really dont know much. But if you seek out a girl named Mischa, she will be better at assisting you. She was roommates with Reira I believe and best friends. She above all others would know."
Mischa? Cain looked at her briefly, before giving a smile and a nod. Truly, she was one well-informed individual. She was being a lot more help to him than she probably realised. Cain chuckled at that thought, before replying.
"Mischa, huh? Haha, thanks for the info, Kevala. You've been a great help!"
Yup, roommates they were, as she claimed. Kev was right. If there was anyone to ask, Mischa was at the top of the list.

She would simply smile and nod, her eyes keeping track of him as he spoke.
"You are welcome. Happy I could help."
She would then reach up, brushing her hair back from her face before settling her hands down into her lap.
She had been here awhile, and things were a bit off in her mind as far as time went. Honestly she could not help it. So many things happened, and though she was great at information, she was suckish at times.
It was just the way things worked with her. A little sigh passing through her parted lips as she leaned back against the table she sat beside.
"Is there anything else that I can help you with?"
She asked in earnest, always wishing to help those that she could. Though it usually ended badly for her at some point or another, she still tried none the less.

"Is there anything else that I can help you with?"
And speaking of that, Cain seemed to have been the only one benefiting from this conversation. He had learned quite a lot from the female. Cain now knew who the pillars were, the Dragons and of course, how to find Reira. It was certainly going to make his integration into the society of 259 a whole lot easier. After all, being well-informed always helped make conversations easier. And also make fights easier. He grinned at that thought, but wiped it away almost immediately as he returned his attention to her, giving her a soft smile before a shake of his head. He stopped, however, as he looked up for a moment, before turning back to her. He placed his right index finger on his chin, as if thinking.
"Well, you can tell me how to make it up to you for helping me so much."
Cain always believed in fair trade and that everything came at a price. Nothing was ever free. Now, what exactly could she possible need from him? Well, for one, he could always treat her for lunch? Yeah, something as simple as that, or maybe something even more complicated, who knew? He barely knew Kevala, so he knew not what kind of things she liked, preferred and loved to do.
He was putting himself in random moment here.

Kevala would think about his question. It was not often that people offered to do something for her in return. It struck her as an odd moment indeed.
Finally she would smile and shake her head. She really did not need anything and she felt wrong asking.
"I honestly cannot think of anything. I mean, how about we just call it friends and leave it at that?"
Yes, that was all she really looked for with people. Somebody to call her friends. It was always good to have friends and people to talk to. Most around here were not up for that and she figured it was as good a thing as any to ask for.
Softly she would brush her tongue over her lips, her hand coming up and pushing the hair back out of her face as her icy hues fell onto his own.
As always, that soft, friendly smile was placed upon her lips. She was not all that bad, well, okay, she was...but that is beside the point. She could be nice and at this moment she was being nice. Yeah, that was all that counted. She liked this new kid and well, having him as her friend was not such a bad idea.

"I honestly cannot think of anything. I mean, how about we just call it friends and leave it at that?"
Friends? Well, Cain could accept that. She had proven to be more than a comfort as company. She was a fun talk, to say the least. She was adorable and Cain could tell that whatever conversation he would have with her would definitely not end involuntarily. Cain would like that indeed. At that, he gave her a soft smile and nodded his head, chuckling softly as he did.
"Haha, sure, I'd like that too."
After all, this was 259 and it looked worse than 552. As easy as friends were said to find, it was not the case in places like this. Friends were hard to find, especially those that you know you could trust to stay at your side. And those were the kind of friends that could really help out a lot in schools like this, for more than once, you would find yourself in shit where you would not be able to get out from without help from another. Being a lone wolf never worked out in places like this, as tough as you are.
At that, he turned his attention back to her, scratching the back of his head as he smiled, unsure of what to say now. The conversation had come to a standstill, mostly because Cain knew her not well enough to know much about her. He let out a soft sigh, before looking up at the sky for a moment. Suddenly, though, he shot his eyes back at her, a wide smile on his face.
"Well, since we're gonna be friends, we should try to get to know each other better, right? Any idea how?"
