The Chosen: 1. Gabriel Seran 2. Alexander Hikari 3. Addie Balfour 4. Drea E. Delos Santos 5. Zachariah The individuals who where to be known only as the Chosen to speak as a group would find a black piece of paper in each of their lockers, written in white would be a time and place, the time 5 o'Clock, two hours after school got out for the day. The place? Courtyard. The sun was lowering in the sky, clouds causing rays to sprey through in different directions. As if symbolizing the differences in fates choices. In the courtyard though would be a man. Inside a circle drawn by himself with white chalk. A boom box near by with an ipod attatched to it playing some sort of death metal or other angry sort of rock music. The man himself was of average height, 5'10". Nothing special, a black mask covering his faciel features, besides his eyes and forehead. His hair was cut short, a military style high and tight. A moss green shirt, Army ACU pants, and summer combat boots, Tan in color. He would be standing, and waiting.

After school, she finished bringing in things from the classroom where the fashion club was, she had a plan and would not be giving up so easily. People could disappoint, but she wasn't going to be one of those people. There was a smile on her face as she walked down the almost barren hallways, looking around and listening to the sounds from behind doors, there was a lack of people...kind of nice. Opening her locker door she'd automatically notice black paper. She never used it, raising an eyebrow the girl picked up the paper. Curious blue eyes looked over the paper...Was it an invitation? Courtyard 5:00pm.
Fun...
stuffing things into her messenger bag, the brunette would slam her locker door shut and head to the doors. Who ever the send was...was in for it! Going into another persons locker without permission!? THAT WAS BALLS! Scowling the German-Japanese girl made her way outside. The sky was comparable to a watercolour painting. Mixtures of colours made the sky beautiful. A beautiful end to a decent day....Well, that was until the dark figure caught her attention.
Her height, creepy looking, hiding his face... WHAT WAS HIS GAME?!
"Hey you! What did you want?" The girl snapped as she walked over, waving the black piece of paper around."Its better to tell the person, rather then to go into their lockers! PERSONAL SPACE!" A little annoyed, Addie glared over at the young man. Even though it was a public school, ones locker is their locker.
>_____>
RAWR!
Placing a hand on her hip, the girl would look over at the young man and tap a foot in an irritated fashion. "You'd better have a good explanation!"

"..." Alex just stared at the note he found the moment he opened his locker to put his books away, classes had ended for the day, and he had just finished soccer practice. It wasn't so much the fact that someone had broken into his locker and stuck a note inside, it was the fact that, who in the world would even send Alex a note? Emily wouldn't need to, she could've just sent him a text message, or even call his cell. Continuing to stare at the note, Alex pulled out his cell and checked the time. 4:50pm. "..." Slamming his locker shut, Alex hefted his backpack up and headed to the courtyard, his soccer uniform inside his backpack, he was now wearing his black overcoat. He was slightly curious as to what this was all about, but all the same, he wasn't going to rush into it blindly. If all the fighting he had fought and all the events he had gone through taught him anything, it was unwise to rush into anything blindly.
Pushing open the doors, Alex stepped out of the main building and headed towards the courtyard, the sky above him a brilliant shade of orange, turning Alex's jet black hair a lighter shade. The scene brought a small smile to Alex's face, the sky had been the exact same color when he had visited Emily back when they were in San Francisco. Though his expression quickly darkened when he noticed the dark figure standing in the courtyard, along with a very angry looking brunette. Though even if she spoke, she could scream for all it's worth, and still be drowned out, due to the heavy metal rock music that blared out from the boombox near by the dark figure. "..." Stopping just before the circle drawn on the ground in white chalk, Alex stayed silent, up close, the man's features, save for his eyes and forehead, were covered by a black mouth mask. "... What purpose does this serve, to bring us out here...?"

Just another day and Zachariah had gone about his business without much a care or problem. Perhaps a simple cog in the machine of 259 but the anonymity was much a blessing as he was rarely bothered or effected by the struggle at the top. Often left alone, which he had grown to enjoy, much like a hermit only sought by a select few looking for a select bit of advice. Now the day was winding down and he made his way to his locker to put away his books to wait until tomorrow when he happened upon this very strange and bizarre note. White writing on black paper… how odd.
Alas it seemed as though the former pillar, not that many could recall that anymore, was being called out for some purpose. As far as Zachariah could figure it had to be about his former position, after all he had made little imprint on the school in any other fashion to be called out in such a fashion. It was almost as they some other force had signed him up for this (>.>). He couldn’t shake the cryptic feeling that came from the note, black paper with white writing… ominous.
The sound of blaring, and slightly horrid, music grew and grew as Zachariah neared the specified destination adding to that ominous feeling. Inwardly his defenses raised, knowing the type of people that this school attracted that might act in such a manner made it a necessary precaution. To think it like a game of chess, bringing targets to an easily sealed off area such as the courtyard would make a trap to remove them all too easy. This manner of thinking made it seem more logical to turn away right now, before he actually reached the courtyard as a manner of self-preservation, however it seemed that same force was driving him toward this… meeting. Curious killed the cat… correct?
Stepping out into the courtyard Zachariah’s eyes noted the three others that were already waiting, one steamed up brunette and two males, the one who’d sent the notes and one apparently inquiring about the matter. It was easy to tell which was which by the circle and attires they each wore. He made his way out toward the group stopping a few feet to the side of the young lady, not a word uttered. If memory served, when things like this happened the person responsible would inform them when the time was right… perhaps when everyone arrived.

Drea had said her farewells to the teachers for the day. She'd not been as busy as usual, and it had only taken an hour and a half to help grade, clean up, and work on some homework and whatnot...
Which meant that she could now leave.
She headed to her locker, intent on leaving her books so she wouldn't need to cart them home with her, and hummed to herself merrily. She quickly twisted the dial in practiced strokes to get her locker open, but damn near dropped everything she was holding when something flew out at her.
Less than a second later, she realized it was just a fluttering piece of black paper. She shrugged, feeling sheepish and stupid, and set her books inside her locker. She closed it and twisted the dial once more, and then moved to pick up the excess paper. She was thinking it was trash that someone had decided to shove into her locker, but then she saw the letters on it.
It was a note. One that dictated only a time and location. She checked her watch. It was four fifty-five. She didn't know what was going on, but she thought it might be something from her sister. She broke into a sprint and headed for the courtyard, dialing her chauffeur to tell him she'd be later than usual as she ran.
She halted, slightly out of breathe, when she arrived. She was very much confused. One person she knew. The others? Not so much. She'd run into Addie before with Katsuri, and again during an encounter with some sort of club. Alex she knew through their shared association with her sister. She vaguely recalled sharing a class with the white-clothed boy...
And there was another person, a man she certainly didn't recognize, who was dressed for combat. Immediately, her suspicions were raised.
She wanted to ask questions, but decided against it. With the way that the others were looking at each other - and at the stranger - expectantly, she assumed that all the questions she wanted answered had already been asked.

Of course threatening letters were nothing new to Gabriel Seran, he smiled taking quick note of the penmanship, not scribbled down like a lazy hog something more refined as it was written in simple white ink upon jet black paper. A curious little smile placated across his features charmingly as he stuffed it into the coat pocket of his jacket heading off to class. He wasn't going to worry on the matter, as of late his only real competition at this school was David Blaze and he knew well enough that if David wanted a fight he'd simply come looking for one, no theatrics of writing a silly letter.
OF course he could always be wrong.
Class itself rolled by lazily the thoughts entrancing his silly mind about the potential of the next fight, perhaps there was someone he didn't know that was even better of a fighter than Blaze, that would tickle his fancy, intrigue him to jump to new heights.
*ring*
As class ended and the clock instructed him to head into the courtyard he obliged lazily turning to the sound of some interesting music, the kind he enjoyed in leisure. Though the expressions of those around him were a calm mix, those angry while others submissivly waiting as though this was all a trap. Gabriel was one such person who was always prepared for a trap so he strode by them all extending a hand to greet the fellow.
"Gabriel Seran.... I suppose you're the fellow with the interesting penmanship, I must say quite daring.. I respect that."

John didn't move much, looking to the female who was angry, he knew what she was saying, she had said it before... Or well, he'd seen her say it before, knowing that eventually there was the possibility of her saying those exact words. As he had seen, he would raise his right hand, the full finger black gloves showing four of his fingers, the thumb curled intot he palm.
He would drop his pinky showing only three two seconds before Alex would of walked into the picture, showing the fingers now to Alex, as a wait move. Dropping another finger after Saint walked in on this. He was one person who had changed his fate. His vision showed that Saint would avoid this meeting... That could of changed everything.
But, the last two would show up exactly how he had seen, doing exactly what he had seen. Moving from his spot he would shake hands with the Seran boy, quickly before pulling away and going to his radio and turning it down to barely audible.
"The purpose for you all to be here is to hear a premonition that will happen when..."
He would wait, one of them had to trigger it, as he had seen, though it wouldn't be too hard. Deffinitly not since this had all already happened, it just hadn't happened yet. Unless Saint's appearance to the meeting had changed the trigger as well. One could say that they wouldn't of gathered had he not interupted their day and gave them the note, but who's to say their circumstances wouldnt have brought them without the note? Drea would be heading home no doubt and with only five minutes if she had walked she would of been on time on the dot. Same with Saint, he would of been minding his own business, Gabriel no doubt would of been coming through the courtyard to find something interesting to do before making a scheme for his next move. Alex wass coming from Soccor, so he would of had to go through here to get to the locker rooms for the males to put his uniform and gear away. Addie was the only odd one out, though it was possible that the sky would be enough to catch her attention long enough for the others to gather. But that was speculation.

Quiet...and counting down?
Looking around, she'd feel a little worried. What exactly was going on? She'd look at the guy before her, still quite curious as to what was going on. It wasn't long before a classmate from the great white north appeared, some guy, cutie, and Gabriel Seran.... Wait! Didn't he die? So, a letter in her locker and meeting up with random classmates, a dead guy and a creepy dude. How much more weird was it going to get?
Silently standing consumed by confusion, the brunette looked at those around her then focused once more at the masked dude. The players had assembled, just as she was to ask, the young man spoke again. Though not before turning the horrible music down and shaking hands with the dead man. What was going on? what had she missed during her time off being sick.Note to self.......don't stay home sick..
"The purpose for you all to be here is to hear a premonition that will happen when..."
What the heck did that mean??
happen when?
and once more the group fell into silence, yes a wonderful way to finish your sentence buddy! Perhaps she was still easily annoyed, but what more could she do? Old habits are harder to kill then Seymour....They just keep coming back. Stuffing her hands into the pockets of her short shorts, Addie looked at the masked guy again, still waiting for some epic end to a sentence... Silence... silence...D< Not cool!
"When what?" Not intending to say anything, the girl had accidentally let something slip. Breaking silence. FUN FUN FUN... Probably looking like an idiot, but that didn't matter... She was used to it. Tilting her head to the side a bit, she'd stare at the young man for a moment; all the while waiting for a response.
He better have a good reason D< this better not be a prank... I want sushi..
Of course she didn't believe in the whole premonition thing, no one knew the future. Which meant, the guy in front of her was a joke. Who would believe him and take him seriously? An idiot. NEGATIVITY!

Drea squinted at the man. He looked familiar. For a moment, he was overlaid by an image of the seer she'd run into before... Or were they the same person? She hadn't been able to get too much of a good look at him. So many things had happened... There was no way she could have.
Gabriel came soon after she, and then the man spoke:
"The purpose for you all to be here is to hear a premonition that will happen when..."
Drea deduced several things from this. There were no others coming - else she doubted he'd have started, and as a man who'd said 'premonition,' she didn't think he expected anyone else... The chances of him being John Strife rose.
Also, he'd said 'the purpose of,' which indicated they'd been picked or chosen in some way to carry out the duty of hearing his premonition.... But for what? All Drea could really pull from that was that they were in for more.
"When what?" Addie asked him. Drea looked at the girl quickly. She was... impatient as ever.
Still, Drea stood quiet. It seemed the other girl's impatience - and perhaps that of others, too - would have her questions answered for her. It was, in a sense, a chess game. She simply didn't know which pawns would move, and which royals in response.
A slow smile spread across her face.

"..." Alex looked on in mild curiosity as the man showed him three fingers, which had to signify something. As random as this invitation was, there was always a meaning behind every action a person did. Every action had a reaction, what were you expecting? Alex's eyes shifted as he notice someone come up from behind, it was one of his classmates from his Creative Writing class, though Alex didn't know his name, as the man dropped another finger. Soon after, Drea arrived, Alex knew her from their encounter at the yogurt stand. The last finger dropped. And then the man of the hour arrived, Mr. Gabriel Seran himself. The man shook hands with Gabriel, before moving to the boombox and turned the volume down so low, it was barely audible.
"The purpose for you all to be here is to hear a premonition that will happen when..."
"..." And then silence ensued. Something was going to happen. But what it was, Alex wasn't even sure of yet. And the man had said "a purpose." Did he mean all five of them gathering here, was already preordained? They were all destined to come here? And then the angry brunette broke the silence, speaking in an impatient tone of of voice. This wasn't the time for losing tempers. Strategy may just be involved, but the question was, was someone holding all the pieces? "... When the final countdown ends?" Alex spoke in a low voice, his arms folded across his chest, keeping his cool... and his wits about him.

Two more arrived with much from this man… this whole situation becoming more and more bizarre by the moment. Slowly Zachariah’s eyes passed between the others assembled, noting some semblance of acknowledgment between them. So they knew each other, or at least of each other, making him seem more of the odd man out as he only knew Gabriel and barely at that. The man moved only to shake Gabriel’s hand before returning to turn down his music to speak…
One girl asked while the guy from one of his classes made an attempt to finish the man’s sentence. So, they were to receive a prophecy of sorts… the irony of his nickname at this moment was almost too much to bare. Perhaps the prevailing question might be the answer of the end of his statement, but Zachariah was interested in what this premonition was going to be about. Was something bad going to happen? Why them? Were they going to be involved? Casualties? The causes? Why did this man even care? From what Zachariah could tell this man wasn’t a student and didn’t give off a vibe of being a graduate as there wasn’t a sense of nostalgia about him. Granted there was one way for him to be sure…
“… who will speak this premonition to us?”
Zachariah let the Qi flow through his eyes causing them to glow slightly as he spoke and stepped forward, locking onto this strange man to get a better sense of him and the energies he pervaded throughout the world. Perhaps the question was foolish, maybe but if this man was going to tell them… why the meeting? Why not just leave it on their notes? There was something… beyond everything… that he couldn’t shake.

Gabriel greeted him generously but from the firmness of the embrace he wasn't sure what to make of it, for some reason he didn't feel a sort of negativity towards the man, no sense of endangerment that he'd normally receive from anyone else at this godforsaken school. In fact that largest reaction would be his sense of curiosity.
"The purpose for you all to be here is to hear a premonition that will happen when..."
A small grin perked up in the corners of his lips. Gabriel was by far the closest to the man and could pick up off of the subtle features of his being though everything was very neutral and calculating much like his own very mirrored response. At his back stood a few strong fighters, others strong beings in their own rights, he knew well enough the strongest thing they had by far was character. He could trust them, so now this would simply be a moment of subtlety.
"Yes I'd have to question that as well..." He stated shortly after Saint's response in a calm tone.
(ooc: This is prior to Gabriel's "death" I'd assume)

John watched the female, Addie, this time he had no idea what would happen, this was as far as his previous vision had showed him. Everything now was unknown, besides the fact he would have a premonition with these individuals gathered in the courtyard. All he knew was the number five was very important. Five people, five o'clock.
Then his train of thought would be broken by the male, Alex. His finishing the statement was... Well pretty accurate. So John would look at his by turning his head far enough and nodding. Recognizing that this one had a brain and was well on his way to using it.
But then... The trigger. The one known as Saint had activated an ability, he would notice John;s existence was there in the realm of existence, but slipping between, as if his motions and or simple existence where against life entirely. He flowed between existence and etherial metaphysical realms. His body was physical, but his spirit and energy where all... Seperate. But the trigger had been hit and John's body would tense as his eyes would white out and glow, even blockign out some of the physical features around his eyes. The white glow offset by his black mask. His voice would come now as he saw things in his vision.
"The Chosen will encounter five warriors. These five are elite fighters capable of destroying this entire school and leaving those they wish in ruin and death. The Chosen must stand or the five will prevail. Only the combined skills of the chosen will prevent the eye of vengeance from collecting the holders."
John would be getting images, quick succession and intensity, battle, harsh and unperalelled battle.
"Should you stand there will be more pain than you can imagine, but you should ignore, everyone will know this pain."
He saw three of the five walking out of the still burning wreckage of 259, grinning, laughing even. Holding ten items in their collective arms. The items of the holders. But like usual with his visions, it cut off there.
His eyes would turn back to normal instently and he would fall to a sitting position. Mentally exhausted.
"Every choice you all make from thsi moment forward may or may not change the outcome of this. I never play in deffinits, everythign is changable."

Drea simply observed as each character responded to the male's words. The white-wearing male's motions were the most prominent... And they seemed to bring forth a response from the seer.
"The Chosen will encounter five warriors. These five are elite fighters capable of destroying this entire school and leaving those they wish in ruin and death. The Chosen must stand or the five will prevail. Only the combined skills of the chosen will prevent the eye of vengeance from collecting the holders."
Drea took only a moment to wonder who the 'Chosen' were but found her silent question had been quickly answered.
"Should you stand there will be more pain than you can imagine, but you should ignore, everyone will know this pain."
Obviously, they who had been gathered by this odd person were the so-called Chosen. She watched as he sat.
"Every choice you all make from this moment forward may or may not change the outcome of this. I never play in definites, everything is changeable."
This was just odd. Drea didn't like it. At all.
For one thing, she had too many questions. Eye of vengeance? Holders? And they were supposed to defeat five elite warriors... The likelihood of this happening one on one was very high. Or rather, the risk was still there, and that was even more hazardous, especially since she knew that while Kazuya and Gabriel may be able to fight, she knew that she herself was only a beginner and knew nothing as to the fighting capabilities of the other two.
And who were these elites? Would they know when they appeared? When would they appear? Why? Hell, for that matter, how would they appear?
She knew it had something to do with the school or the seer wouldn't have factored in the whole 'capable of destroying the school' bit.
What was this? Some sort of bad video game prophecy set up? Was there some sort of camera somewhere?
Drea's first reaction was to reject it. To reject everything, really. It didn't make sense. None of them knew each other. For all she knew, some of them might hate each other.
....
The enormity of the entire situation crashed upon her like a wave. Still, instead of going with her rather extreme impulse - to curse like a sailor, which was highly unlike her - she repressed it and went with her second.
"Is there anything else you can tell us about this?" she asked quietly. While she wasn't feeling subdued - overwhelmed maybe, but certainly not subdued - she wasn't exactly feeling exuberant either. She sat down as well, not bothering with panache as she did so. This felt like a matter more important than whatever persona she might typically carry.

Names stuck out like from a magazine article, their letters boldly defined in his head. CHOSEN HOLDERS EYE OF VENGEANCE He remembered those names briefly as if the years suddenly struck him down. The chosen were obviously them but once more couldn't in the same right they be the five warriors destined to destroy the school? He flinched at the thought of course no one would doubt Gabriel to be for that job but the others were innocent. The Holders struck a bell. Looking down with his Crimson gaze Gabriel saw the Terra Guard bound to his arm. He was a holder himself, battle had defined him as such and on that day he was called as such. The eye of vengeance? It was a mystery in his own mind unless? Could he be the one whom defeated Leon? Gabriel remembered when he'd fallen into a bout of insanity watching the corrosive power . If such was true they couldn't beat him alone. Together? "When do they come and where?" His voice was more urgent now as he cut off Drea. A look of desperate apology down towards her. This was crucial everything depended on it.
