With Darius out of the way now it was pretty much over with. He wasn't paying much attention to what Matrim had been saying, but he could tell people were practicing since the noise level picked up. Then he suddenly was kicked in the back and side, "HEY!" was called out as the foot pushed him forward as he reached out to grab the ropes. Once he stopped moving forward he'd push Darius safely over the edge of the ring with one hand and then turn to see Tara.
Crap that hurt, it was nice of her to give me that heads up though, it at least saved me from face planting....
"Hey, he put you against me huh? Well this should be pretty fun." He'd say with a grin on his face, pushing off of his foot, feeling a sting in his back as he aimed to launch his left fist toward her face, almost diving into the punch, recklessly attacking since he was a bit winded already.
She's about to kick my ass this time isn't she....

(OOC: Sorry to have kept you waiting, I'll try not to do that again ^_^ Also sorry if I use equipment that, you know, isn't there, sorry for the length of the post. And, just to complete the holy quartet, sorry for the length of my apologies)
Adrian had spent his time as constructively as he cared to do. Sitting down and crossing his legs over, he had turned on his iPod and unleashed a series of tracks into his ears, his heart pumping ever faster as he felt rage burning through his veins. He sat with his eyes closed and his hands on his knees, letting the burning sensation slip into the very depths of his stomach and his chest, burning through bones and blood alike. He looked peaceful as he sat there, even as the monster lurking inside stirred to wakefulness. He didn't notice he had been called out, and he didn't realize until his senses prodded him with the fact someone was standing on front of him. He smiled, the crooked grin breaking the serene mask just below the skin of his face. When he opened his eyes, they were yellow, deep and golden. He was ready, if not to win then, more importantly, to learn.
He rose to stand, and he spent a few moments with his new playmate, staring into each other's eyes, trying to gauge one another's strength. Or she seemed to, at any rate, Adrian was just playing along, still smiling. Their eyes, he noted, were actually not too different, at least not from their current colour. Was she like him? A kindred spirit wouldn't hurt, at least not more than one could expect given their current situation. Playtime should be fun. She indicated a bunch of, what, training gear? Whatever, the little voice in his head shrugged. You're not going to get serious around this one anyway, too much risk. Adrian nodded silently, scanning her over once before walking over to the equipment and wrapping up his hands. Maybe they would get a little hurt, but it was as the old saying went: Whatever doesn't kill one makes one stronger. Of course, it might stilll kill you second time around.
With his hands wrapped he returned to his playmate who, he noted, had the good grace not to attack as soon as he was withing reach. He chuckled in his heart, she had already proven herself a batter person than the majority of the students here. He ran over what his mind had deduced in the brief time from its scan of this little person to the present.
Short stature = Pros: Small target, lesser energy spent on movement. Cons: Short range, lesser weight put behind attacks.
Speculations: Seems confident, yet with mobile stance. Deductions: Confidence has at least minimal to moderate reason for confidence, short people compensate for height with ferocity, but target shows patience. Be wary.
Conclusion: Lead with feints, see what target does. If target counters look for openings. If not, try more direct approach, rely on advantage in range. Expect ferocious retributal if guard let down.
Scrapped methods: Hair-pulling, targetting eyes, ears and obvious attacks at chest. Causes attention, this fight is to learn, not to attract bad reputation. If possible, avoid nose, teeth, jaw and broken joints. Same reasons, to a lesser extent.
Adrian cracked his neck once while taking his position, that of a boxer. The analysis was placed in the back of his mind where it be reviewed it panned out. If not, well, then he'd just have to let go. He locked his with her's, it tended to unnerve at least the weakest of opponents, but even some of the stronger it had, in the past, provided the moments of distraction that was all a skilled fighter needed and Adrian, if little else, had skill. He nodded once at his new playmate, waited a few seconds to see if it was returned before opening up with a quick jab at her head to get her attention, taking half a step forward to add force to the attack. He had confined his smile to the inside of his chest where rage still burned and the beast was slowly waking. Oh yes, this would be fun.

She noted the change in eye color before he went off to get ready. This peaked her curiosity. The only time she had ever seen someone's eyes shift in color was when that individual's split persona was taking over. Was this kid like that? Perhaps not.....nothing in him seemed to change. Besides Nami didn't react to it, her split persona had a knack for picking out others like her. If the crazy bitch inside of her showed no reaction then the chances were he wasn't.
Like it would matter much if he was DID anyway. She would still have to kick his ass, or go down trying.
Their eyes locked onto each other again for a moment. Like two wildcats sizing each other up, neither willing to back down for even a moment. Already she had a feeling she would like this kid. He seemed like a worthy opponent, their match should prove to be interesting. She returned his nod with one of her own giving him permission to start things off.
She ducked under the jab aimed for her face, using that moment to get under the bigger man to send a swift punch to his ribs. Applying full force into the hit, the gloves she wore insuring at least she would not do serious harm with the hit. With that she would try to swipe his feet from under him with her own leg. Sending him crashing to the ground before she'd stomp on his stomach before jumping back from him to allow her opponent the time to get back and try again.
If she had failed to get him on the ground she would change her tactic. Spinning quickly on the balls of the foot she tried to trip him with to quickly get behind him and send a powerful kick to his back. Forcing the man forward before getting back into a defensive stance to wait for his next move.

The jab had the intended effect of making her open up, and his other hand had been held back for exactly that purpose. As her punch came in he slid his right hand up grab it by the wrist, but he knew the instant he saw her move that he wasn't fast enough and he felt the blow impact on his ribs. The majority of his air, he was grateful, remained in his lungs however, and he didn't miss it when she went down in that tell-tale spinning movement. It didn't take much, a quick jump and he was out of the danger-zone... for now.
She was good, he noted, many people lost balance when their kicks like that didn't impact, but she didn't. He'd have to try something more agressive, get her off balance. She, however, beat him to that. By the time he realized what she was doing it was too late to move away, and all he could do was roll with the blow as best he could. Thankfully, acrobatics had always been one of his strong points, and he rolled to a crouching position, ready to bull-rush her, but she wasn't in front of him. He tilted his head to the side, making a noise that sounded almost like a purr, though from him it was a sign for surprise. She was actually waiting for him to get back on his feet? That was nice, unless of course she relied completely on her opponents momentum in her style. Regardless, he felt just the tiniest amount of respect worm its way into his heart. He wasn't used to that.
Standing back up he cracked his neck. His ribs weren't hurting too badly, and his somer-sault had taken the worst off the kick. She was good, he'd have to remember that. He wasn't a big man himself, like her he was used to fighting much bigger opponents, and so he found himself in unfamiliar territory. AWESOME! He was there to learn after all.
After letting their eyes meet again to let her knew he was ready, he charged head-long at her, like a Football player going for the gold. He wasn't going to simply ram into her, of course, that was much too crude and a method reserved for those who lacked finesse and weighed a good deal more than himself. Instead, when she dodged as he was sure she would, he would do another somersault, rolling past the point where she had stood and coming up in a crouching position, facing her, before pushing himself up on one outstretched arm and kicking with both legs in her direction, after which he would roll away and get back on his feet, repaying her courtesy.
If, of course, she didn't dodge but merely waited for him get in close enough, he attempt a gliding tackle, like the ones Father had tried to teach him for Soccer practice. If she opted to leap over him while he was rolling, or tackling, he would roll onto his feet and attack her with another punch, another quick left-hand jab to get in close, thise time at the spot just below her ribs. If she took the bait and tried to block he would try to grab her by the arm and pull her into a position where he could slam his knee into her kidney. And if none of his attempts succeeded, he would simply retract to defensive position and wave her to come at him. Though he on the outside would maintain the mask of looking grumpy and focused, he was still smiling inside, which might be visible in his eyes. He was havin a lot more fun than he had expected to have.

Her opponent was quite good she thought as she watched him get back on his feet for round two. Even though he could not match her speed he was able to position himself well enough to lessen the power of her attacks allowing minimal damage to occur and maybe assist him in beating her in the long run. She liked this guy. He certainly would make this fight interesting.
Judging by what Mitsukai had witnessed so far an offensive approach which she was fairly used to might not be the best approach. It was time to use that training she had undergone with Sara earlier. She needed to practice on her counter attacks anyway and what better time to try so then now? At least unlike with Ryu who was still faster then she was Mitsukai was far more likely to see this guy's attacks coming and could hopefully figure out ways to overcome it.
Their eyes met again and Mitsukai got ready for his next move. When he charged after her Mitsukai did the one thing that came naturally to her, she dodged....big mistake because that was exactly what he was waiting for. Just as she moved out of the way he changed the direction of his attack, striking her down before she could turn around to figure out what he was intending.
Heh he really is good... she mused as she got back up on her feet. This guy had anticipated her next move and acted accordingly to bring her down. He was smart and a good analyzer from what she could tell. A smart opponent was a much more challenging opponent. That was a good thing, she liked it. It was not like any of her other opponents in her past were not like that. Some were very good at countering her, it was just most of them at the time she fought them she had disliked them. This was one of those rare times when she was fighting a worthy foe without any feelings of anger or rage so for once she could like this.
Once back on her feet Mitsukai would move on the offensive. It was only fair to switch things up a little since she failed in her last attempt at defense. Moving quickly, closing the gap between them she would feint a punch to the face in the hopes that he'd instinctively try to block the hit. Leaving his stomach unguarded for the uppercut that was her true intention to land, applying full force into the hit to hopefully knock the air out of him. If that move had bee successful and if this had been a real fight she would have then grab the back of his head and slam his face into her knee to break his nose. But since this was a club and she did not want to seriously harm anyone today she would instead send a kick to the same spot to knock him over and onto his ass. Waiting once again for him to get back up to try again.
If Mitsukai failed to get her opponent to double over she would be forced to change her tactic. If he had managed to dodge the uppercut she would send a kick towards his chin instead with enough force to jerk his head up before she would go for another kick to the chest to force him back before she herself would jump back anticipating his next move.

-NOTICE- A fight is a fight between two people in a single thread, giving them the INT boost for experience. If a seperate fighter pops in then they gain +1 exp for that fight. If they fight the same char one more time in the same thread as a seperate fight due to recovery time that is also once again just +1 exp. Other than that I will state again if there is a fight in a club it negates the clubs weekly experience, clubs are for people who DONT fight, I dont care if its to teach people to fight, its for people who do not fight at all. Saint as my example if he isnt forced to fight he likely wont, a club involving him doing something like, building robots. Teaching other people to build robots, they get together and do like a battle bots thing. Thats a club, no fighting is done to gain experience its done purely with robots, end of story. If a fight breaks out in the club the weekly exp is negated. Period.

She came, fist leading her advance towards him. It went towards his face, and so he swereved to duck and launched a counter-blow towards her gut. This might've worked if she'd actually attempted to attack his face, but instead her upper-cut rammed into his chin, causing him to stumble backwards, his counter-attack disrupted. "Owie." He muttered, moving his jaw-muscles to see if anything was dislodged. Thankfully, that was not the case.
His head felt a little light, and to counter-act the effect he cracked his neck to each side, listening to the sound of soft tissue separating from bone and feeling endorphines flooding his blood-stream. It was his turn now. He met her eyes again and have a short nod, letting her know that he was ready. Then he charged.
He sprinted the short distnace that was between them and attempted to channel all the kinetic energy into a simple, non-refined forward kick, aimed at her gut. He'd launch the attack at the last possible moment, where he was almost certain she'd have no chance of dodging, but he knew that she was unlikely to wait that long before moving. If she dodged, as he expected her to, he would abandon the kick and instead channel the kinetic energy into a punch aimed at her temple, followed by a short hook aimed at her kidney. If it hit, he expected it to do some serious damage. If not, he'd try to simply run or roll by, but he didn't expect that to work very well. But if one took no chances, one would learn nothing new. At least, so he liked to think.

Mitsukai had learned well enough that she could not simply dodge her opponents moves, it was too predictable and he most likely had a back up for her in case she did do exactly that. Instead of moving Mitsukai stood her ground. When that forward kick came she was ready, quickly turning to the side lessening the impact of the kick. Using her arm in the same instant she would push that leg away, along with a round house kick to the leg to successfully knock it away before sending a punch to the side of his head and pulling away. Giving him the chance to make a comeback and as well to access the damage she had taken. Thankfully it was not too bad, her gut ached a bit put it would have been much worse had she actually taken the full force of the hit.

Should'ave seen that one coming. Not NOW! Adrian reacted as fast, if not as gracefully, as he could when he felt his leg being pushed aside, his mind running through dozens of possibilities and discounting all but one in the instant between his attacked being countered and his foot hitting the ground. Dodging was completely out of the question, all of his momentum carried him straight forward and he had no time to change that now. Launching any sort of counter-attack at this time was almost certainly doomed to fail, so he did the only thing he felt he could; instead of fighting the force of his movement, he focused his mind on the suppression of the pain about to be dealt.
Bringing his clenched hands up on either side of his head in an effort to protect it, feeling the force of his foe's punch knocking him sideways and rolling with it. It slightly lessened the damage done when her leg swept his own from underneath him, but not much, and he felt himself crash into the ground much less gracefully than he preffered. Testing to see if his knee was still in sufficiently good shape, he pushed himself up to stand. He'd made a mistake, he'd allowed himself to depend on raw power which, as he had just been painfully reminded of, was NOT his forte. He was just happy she hadn't opted to render him sterile, that would have ended the fight early.
Punches, he reminded himself, cracking what little of his neck remained uncracked. Good 'n swift punches, kicks 'n elbows if the chance offers itself. He locked his eyes with hers yet again, lettign his smile show. He wanted blood now. He walked, practically strolling over to her, eyes never swerving. His first punch was left hook aimed at her temple followed by a right one to center of her stomach, immediately falling back into defensive afterwards. Next he would lead with a quick, misleading jab towards her face, quickly seconded by another diversion, a false punch towards the point jusst below her ribs. The real attack, a strong punch to her face, followed immediately after. Adrian was happy.
