Gabriel receded back into his seat only vitimized by watching the circumstance unfold before him. Despite the brutality of it there was logic behind the notion so he could not find any notion to blaspheme or assail David. Gabriel decided to sit back and shut his mouth having recieved a fiery glance from David. Best not to cross swords under such pointless victories.
"He's right Emily, just take it..." IT was a cold response but one needed under the scenario.
A slow nod to David as Gabriel leaned away crossing his arms and legs as to show he was comfortable in the position he'd made hiself.

"The pain you feel is the cost of battle. Even if a battle didn't take place. Regardless, the pain will help you, it will build your immunity to it, and you'll reach a point where pain is just another emotion, one that can be ignored and accepted."
"He's right Emily, just take it..."
"B-but..." Emily consciously stopped herself from blurting out a protest. They probably have noticed, have they? Her dependence on medicine to keep herself from deviating from what she should be; how she should act.
...
"Alright." She said, defeated after a few seconds. Her face was slightly weak, and she cringed as pain shot through her body again. Stupid, stupid, stupid body. Why did it have to be such a reject? First, she was born with a hypothalamic disorder; next, she bore a Qi that threatened to cook her alive. Just great, right? Though...
...
Emily remembered something. Something she had more or less experienced from within her little time sleeping. It was more or less a strange dream that she couldn't understand - kinda akin to her first day in Japan while everyone was around her discussing in nihonggo.
"Um," she began, hoping to distract the topic from her little addiction. "... what does "Uha tyo" mean?" She knew it was something akin to what Linda and Mathew spoke a while ago, but she never really was proficient in Dragonspeak. One thing was for sure though, she dreamt of it.
She understood nothing, but there was something. Not like she knew she was surrounded by dragons right now. For all she knew it could be Czech or some other European language.

(ooc: hehe *skips*)
"One day...."
Gabriel muttered surely understanding the words. How did Emily come into contact with the words of the Dragon? At least she hadn't known how to decipher it at the time being. He thought to himself who must have said it, He knew she had connections with Matthew for a time at least far enough back before Gabriel knew what the Dragons were to be sure. But Matthew had been long gone for some time now.
Matrim must have said it to her after his fight. Perhaps that was it, but what was he referring towards which was more worrisome than anything else. One day... One day. Gabriel had to pressure what was there out of his mind simply, at least for the moment everything pointed to cynical reasonings. Something he particularly didn't wish to investigate.
"Emily where did you hear that?"

David said nothing to what she asked, allowing Gabriel to instead answer the question. He didn't plan on talking, at least not much, until Gabriel had asked what David saw as a very, very ignorant question. Perhaps he just wanted to know where she had heard those particular words, but to assume that the Dragon tongue was unheard by all...
"Cra ryt bmahdo uv luhdyld fedr Tnykuhc, yc ryja fa ymm. E fuimth'd pa cinbnecat ev rymv dra clruum ryt raynt dra myhkiyka- frah Tnykuhc kydran, ed kahanymmo lyicac y nilgic."
He looked back to Emily, speaking aloud to Gabriel, as good as admitting both he and Gabriel were Dragons.
"Cra luimt pa y Tnykuh, ev cra fuimt pid ycg."
He didn't bother hiding these words or making out like he didn't know them. He stared at Emily, wondering if she was getting at what he had just mentioned- perhaps this butterfly would like a transformation? Perhaps into something far larger and more meaningful? Perhaps...
A Dragon?

"One day.... Emily where did you hear that?" was Gabriel's question. Of course, Emily would open her mouth to answer.
"... A dream." She said simply. It was then David began to speak in the language. He was a dragon? Well, Emily wasn't exactly familiar with that news - and so was the implied revelation that Gabriel was one too.
A bit of Emily's heart was slightly hesitant to say her story, all considering her background with dragons - the Bone dragon and the Earth dragon for one. Despite this, Emily kept the smile up in her face, even though her eyes feigned some slight confusion.
"... You two... are..." She said, a smile in her face. "... Dragons?" She said, half-amused with the fact that she more or less had contact with most of the dragons in existence so far, even fought a few...
Heh...
Very interesting turn of events, but it was a matter of "where the eff did that dream come from?"

Gabriel felt a snarl rise up in his throat, he felt the heat rise in his face to match. What was this a garden bin sale on Dragons? They were the elite, not to be trifled with and now there was a fever going around. It was a light thing to be a Dragon he suspected, the title would mean nothing if the entire population turned titles over night. And Gabriel had worked tirelessly for his own. earned in blood.
"E drehg oui'na bnaccehk ed, cra'c hud oad cdnuhk ahuikr du pa yd dryd majam oad yht pacetac cra ryc du pa hudelat, po ymm."
Gabriel found himself being a bit defensive now at this point. Selfish dreams boiling at their root knowing clear well his anguish would give him away, but he'd worked for it only to be knocked down yet another notch, he wouldn't stand for being merely a tier two any longer if thats what it meant to have the name Dragon.
"Yes Emily.." Gabriel's simple response in English feeling his features tense with anger over the passing words.
