A Shade of (Un)Life (Matrim/Open)

So I get to claim King of the Dragon Hill, I get the kill on Leon meaning I could take his dragon title. Matrim Gallagher, the Lightening Dragon. Even without a Qi that corresponds that'd be pretty fucking tight. Not to mention if I looted all the gear he has... the things he's used to make himself stronger....

Matrim stood there in silence and thought about it before laughing quite loudly, "What could I possibly need from you?" He asked looking up at Arthur, "You're coming to me, asking for me to help you kill Leon. What could you possibly offer me that would make me even remotely interested in helping you? I could kill him myself of my own accord whenever I feel it necessary. You offer me your help afterward? Your offer is tempting. I'll give it that, but what could I possibly have you do for me in your current state. A maggot covered ghoulish creature, a shadow of his former self. What on earth could someone like you ever possibly do for me?"

He meant it too, Matrim's enemies were greater than that. Unless this kid could prove to him that he was remotely worthy of serving Matrim there was nothing for him. Matrim would be forced to show this kid what happens when you try to ask for something you can't possibly afford. And he'd have to show him that threatening Leon wasn't exactly a smart idea around Matrim. If the price was right he might have helped him, but so far he was coming up short.

"Are. You. Immune. To. His. Powers.? Are. You. So. Sure. Of. Surviving. Certain. Death.? And. I. Never. Once. Claimed. To. Hold. The. Strength. Currently. For. What. I. Need. I. Offered. Myself. Arthur responded, Matrim had such a unique reaction but now Arthur saw him as it was. His rule would be short if he ever achieved any real worth. Arthur would turn away and begin to walk, William The Rotting Skull, chattering away as it pulled off the cloth that covered the Stillborn Heir, the dead baby staring back at Matrim as Arthur began to walk, shaking its head slowly.

As the kid started walking away Matrim saw the creepy image of something unheard of. Matrim would call out to him, "Hey kid." He would charge out in front of him at full speed and come to an abrupt stop by sliding and turning in front of him, "Don't you dare underestimate me."

Matrim's entire body would ignite in flames, showing the kid exactly what he could do to him, "I accept your offer, but let it be known if you in any way try to stab my back in this," He said, every bit of him feeling alive as his Qi surged through his body, "I will finish what Leon started."

Matrim would once more wait for a response from the kid. He wouldn't feel it necessary to attack him, only to give him a demonstration of what it was he could do. And why he didn't fear Leon. Because in order for Leon to hurt him, he'd have to hurt himself. Matrim was able to take the damage, but was Leon the same way?

(OOC: Not gonna put stat changes since I don't think this is going to be a fight =P)

"You. Threaten. Me. With. Something. I. Have. Overcome. Already.?" Arthur responded, pausing for a moment at the flaming man. "Regardless. We. Have. A. Deal. Jonny. Storm." Arthur continued before he kept walking down the hallway. "My. Time. Dwindles. Ever. So. Thus. I. Intend. To. Move. Suddenly. Most. Likely. On. School. Grounds. Assuming. You. Still. Retain. The. Captaincy. I. Hope. You. Will. Come." Arthur finished off as he walked off, unphased by Matrims little display. Fire and flame, thuder and lightning, Mysterio, what next would he have to deal with? Arthur was growing annoyed at some of these figures but he had to gather resources.

Well wasn't that interesting..... yeah I'll definitely have to watch this one...

Matrim walked the opposite direction his flames cutting away slowly as he did. He wasn't sure what this guys plan was with a plan that would come to fruition soon. Seemed somewhat strange in the whole having it done soon thing. Matrim wasn't quite sure how he was supposed to help him end Leon but either way....

This... is going to be awkward.....

The only other Dragons Matrim knew about were... well let's just say Linda went missing in action, he had her Dragon item, and as far as he knew that would make him the last, the only.
