The calm facade of this one soldier sat relaxed at the table watching complacently as things came and went about the school grounds, he'd grown tired of his partial exchanges here and there and had known well enough the masses of the school. They knew him as well in most regard, ever since his "death" they'd simply grown more afraid, or rather the word would be weary because every motion signaled by Gabriel was a large one. In essence he made the reputation of moving the world with a single shift, imagine if he were to move at the speed of light.
A small grin as he picked at his tooth with a small toothpick. The courtyard wasn't generally this full at this time in the morning, he half expected a fire drill to be going on but rather it would seem as though the school was more or less understaffed. A sad cause and effect. Budgets being low were most certainly to blame, of course one could also accuse the violent nature of things, perhaps the teachers were fed up with being beaten down by students.
Guilty.

Darius' grey eyes watched the crowds as his hands fumbled around with the acoustic guitar he held. He wasn't playing anything in particular, instead just letting his hands do as they wished, and simply lounging around for a short break. Unfortunately though things wouldn't stay peacful around him for too long. Because one of those strings snapped, and happened to lash out at a passing student.
The male screamed out briefly as the string stung the male, lashing a fine cut across his arm. Darius was completely surprised by it, he hadn't expected that to happen. Maybe he had tightened the strings a bit too much, he hadn't been paying attention. But the male who got hit was furious, as the blood began to drip down his arm.
Fuckin' douchebag! What'd you do that for you little shit?!
The junior would immediantly turn and drop the guitar into his softcase, before looking back at the pissed off student he had accidently hurt. Darius felt he could try to apologize, but in the end it wouldn't matter. From what he had a seen, and whispers of stories he'd been told. People usually didn't let things slide that easily around here.
"Accidental, bro. It's not like I purposely broke-"
*crack*
Darius' words were cut short due to the other students reaction, a quick hook to Darius' face. The junior hadn't expected it to come so quickly, and he'd stumble back as his hand lifted to the side of his face. A small flash of anger arose in the boy, he hadn't done it on purpose! But now something compelled him to fight back, to stand up for himself. And thats exactly what he'd do.
Darius would send himself forward, and within two steps he'd be close enough to snap his right foot out straight. The heel of his shoe would slam against the other boy's gut, and the roars from students around would already start. Having knocked the other male back a bit, Darius would once again step forward, this time swinging and overhand right to land against his opponent's head, barely missing his temple.
"Back off, asshole. It wasn't done on purpose!"

A small grin at the eruption of a fight, simply set over a guitar. Kids, they never seemed to grow up from these petty quarrels. He paced up close standing there like any other idiot bent on fighting and rather than join in he watched with a certain intensity. Two fighters one justified the other acting brashly but he could associate in the end which one would come out on top.
"This is boring me..." Gabriel said nonchalantly poking out the fight.
He pointed at the instigator gregariously. "You leave..."
A small twitch of his hand as the boy sifted in his direction advancing in almost complete unbridled rage. "Who the fuck d'you think you are?!"
*SMACK!*
The kid dropped to the floor with an unseen jab to the face. Most of the bones in his nose compacted into his skull. He wouldn't be getting up again soon.
"Any more?"

Any more?
Darius' eyes were wide at the sight of what he had just seen. It was impossible. There was no way someone could move that fast. Who the hell was this guy? Darius had absolutely no idea. He couldn't help be feel scared, he had just seen something he only thought to be in comic books and movies. It was insane. And it hit him realize the gap there was between him and the others at this school.
He'd grit his teeth slightly, his eyes narrowing a bit. Maybe he was stupid, but he felt compelled to try and fight this male. His father must have passed on his competitiveness to Darius. He always had the yearning to be great at whatever he did, but it would come at a price. He would have to learn to take a beating to push himself to new heights. This would just be the beginning.
Darius would push off toward the male, his eyes locked upon him even though he had a feeling it wouldn't held all that much. He'd take a few quick steps and end up on his left foot a short distance from the male, his body would twist slightly to the left as his right foot would snap up as his hips twisted. His kick was aimed toward the strong guy's left hip.
This is a stupid idea Darius.. Stupid, stupid, stupid..

Gabriel hadn't exactly expected an outlash like such so when the hit compacted with him Gabriel would flinch momentarily. His face would turn towards the young boy who dared make the move, watched as everyone around him took three large steps back.
"Seems you drew the short straw.." Gabriel grinned.
His arms jolted quickly to sieze his leg in the position it was in before turning to throw him against a wall without mercy. Upon contact Gabriel would release expecting the mass of damage to affect immediately.
Gabriel would be slow to follow up as he would watch patiently as the boy's next motions were sure to come. It'd been awhile since he'd fought some new blood, the old people he trained with grew repetitive. And Gabriel always needed growth.

Seems you drew the short straw..!?!Darius' leg was within Gabriel's hold almost instantaniously. Darius had been caught by surprise. That guy was amazingly fast. The fastest person Darius had ever seen. It seemed impossible. He never knew someone could get so fast. Darius' head would wander to the past as he felt his body whipped across the grounds. As his body slammed against the wall, Darius nearly blacked out. All the air had been knocked from his lungs. He couldn't help but wonder if his father had been this strong in his daze. He actually completely forgot he was in a fight at the moment, as he tried to regain his barrings. Darius' back was on fire from the impact with the wall. His head didn't feel any better because it had cracked off the wall also. Son!
Get up!
You're better then this!
You can't give up!
NEVER GIVE UP! Darius' vision would clear, and he'd begin to suck the air back into his lungs once again. The junior had been laying upon the ground a small amount of rubble laying about him, the remnants of what broke off the wall. Darius' arms would shake as he lifted himself up onto his knees. His right hand would slowly lift toward the back of his head as his hand patted at the his bloody scalp, his teeth gritting tightly.. "Y-You're... really.. strong.."Darius would eventally work his way to his feet, his breathing already heavier than he had expected. Whoever this dude was, Darius wished to be like him some day. He was amazingly strong and quick. Maybe he was stupid, but he felt obligated to keep going. Darius wanted to keep fighting. Even if he hurt himself in the process. He needed to get stronger. He'd start off in a slow walk, and quickly work his way into a run. He'd dash and then jump, lifting himself into the air as his right fist would shoot forward and he'd perform something known as the 'Super-man' punch aimed toward Gabriel's face. His legs would kick off behind him as he'd throw his body weight and momentum into it. Darius didn't think it had that much of a chance to hit but he was going to chance it anyways.

Gabriel watched from his side slanted position. A keen notice of observation as he placated the next few moments watching as the boy admitted an extent of impressed awe. Gabriel felt as though his ego was boosted but immediately sought to humble himself finding that there were still greater challenges ahead. To grow complacent was to halt all growth together and he'd never be satisfied with average. A silent nod watching the boy go aerial. Not a movement nor shift as the punch went straight on through hitting it's target dead on as Gabriel's jaw recoiled to the side feeling the sudden burst of heat erupt in his mouth.
Pain it'd grown to be such a sweet feeling as far as he could imagine. Time had pressed him on to continue this behavior of fighting to no end. Time after time succeeding minuscule goals, what he needed was a legacy to pass onto someone. Yes, would that do? Perhaps not now but in time.
All in but a second Gabriel would spiral 180* and aim the flat of his hand to backhand Darius into the wall without mercy. Following that he'd remain complacent and still not inclining to do much beyond but wait. and watch.

There wasn't even time to think, let alone celebrate his attack connecting. In nearly an instant he felt something slam against the side of his head and his vision went blurry. He felt as if he was flying briefly, before he would suddenly hit something solid. The force of the blow had managed to knock Darius into another way, and he had landed with his shoulder connecting first, followed by the rest of his body.
He'd plop to the ground, grunting as he sucked for air. His head was throbbing, and his left arm seemed to be on fire. The pain was slowly subsiding, but he realized it was hard to move. Gritting his teeth his eyes would flutter open slightly to take a glance at his shoulder when he realized it had been knocked from it's socket.
"..M-moth-ther f-fuuuh-ker.."
The juniors words were barely audible. Darius would struggle to pick himself up, his right arm lifting, shaking as his knees curled and he'd roll himself into a hunched crouch. His lungs starving for air, his heart pounding like a drum. But something urged him to keep going. To fight until he no longer could. And he would. After a few short breaths, Darius would let out another pained grunt and lift himself up on wobbly legs. Arms hanging at his sides, the hard-headed junior would slowly make his way back toward the strongest fighter he had ever set his eyes on.

He had more in him apparently, Gabriel's fiery crimson eyes set close on this brave warrior of fate. A calm smile placated on his features, some obvious potential inside of him standing even after knowing he'd been beaten here it was something Gabriel had admired in those new to this school. Standing to match him Gabriel approached at a slow carefree walking pace. His facade simple and defiant till the very end as a warrior should.
He could sense the tension on air as the boy rose to meet him, a sense of awe as Gabriel expected the attack coming but rose a hand to will the battle to stop.
"Seems you've reached your quota for today... hows about we pick this up some other time..?" Gabriel said fluidly without change of his facade.
"I can see something of worth out of you, I'm betting that in time you'll be much stronger.."
Gabriel grinned lightly stretching a hand into his coat pocket gingerly grasping the card he'd held close.
"If you need a sparring partner, I can arrange things.. till next time though..." Gabriel said calmly walking off.
