Feeling the kick, she skidded back a foot or so.
"Changing directions isn't easy with our fans," she heard her sister say, "You'll need to start lifting some weights, Drea."
At that, she scowled. "I'll have you know that I work out every other morning," she said, concentrating on her next attack. Despite the tone she used, there was no malice in it. Rather, it was stated as a fact.
Finding no particular weakness - she hadn't had much practice with that either - she launched herself at her sister, this time spinning so as to wallop her in the side with the fan as she pivoted.

"I'll have you know that I work out every other morning," Emily only chuckled softly at her sister's comment, dodging her attack by merely ducking, albeit more than usual considering how similar their heights were, and as soon as the fan had passed by her head, Emily would shoot her fan upwards where it would hit the apex of Drea's sternum and point-blank range.
If it hit, or even if it didn't, Emily would then proceed to doing a sweep kick in an attempt to knock her sister over as Emily rolled to the side to keep herself at a distance. "Gym weights won't cut it. You have to carry these weights all the time, run with them, dance with them, maybe die with them; but let's not go there."

She took the blow to the chest, flinching as she felt the wind leave her. She left the blow carry her backwards and rolled, the fan tucked carefully within her ball to get out of her sister's range.
It was... more difficult to angle and comfortably roll with it, but it was doable. She got to her feet, still wincing from the blow.
She knew it was going to bruise. And she was definitely going to be feeling it again later.
"Gym weights won't cut it. You have to carry these weights all the time, run with them, dance with them, maybe die with them; but let's not go there."
Drea scowled before throwing herself at her sister again, this time with Timog angled to thwack her sideways. "Trying to kill me, are ya?" she joked, concentrating on connecting. She didn't want to miss. Again. She had a rather bad habit with that...

Drea rolled away after being hit, which was a sensible move after being hit the way she did. Emily was half surprised that she was actually able to stand even after that blow.
She merely smiled with a speck of pride. That's her sister, all right.
In due time, maybe Drea would eventually surpass even her - which was something particularly exciting, even for Emily. Watching her sister move like this was fascinating; it was like watching her grow quickly into something she was looking forward to fighting eventually.
As soon as Drea shot forward to hit Emily on the side, Emily would merely let go of the ordinary fan in her hand just so it could dangle in her wrist while she would attempt to capture the fan in her palm, pinning it with her fingers.
Emily could picture several ways on how Drea could escape this and inflict injury on her in return; but she was interested in how Drea's wave of thought worked, so pointers were a no-no... for now.
"Trying to kill me, are ya?"
Emily chuckled, holding onto the fan tightly. "You say as if death is a bad thing, my dear sister."

"You say as if death is a bad thing, my dear sister."
Drea glared at the hold her sister had on Timog. She rather disliked it when her tools were manipulated... Still...
Without much thought to it, she twisted Timog in her sister's hands as she tugged it abruptly backwards. Her torso fell back as her legs moved forward to kick at her sister from the side, causing her entire body to pivot. If Timog didn't fall free, she'd continue trying.
She couldn't allow herself to forget that Emily could likely fight more ably with both Timog and Hilaga as opposed to only Hilaga. Her twin had, after all, originally fought with them both instead of one and a spare.

And Drea attempted to pull Timog away and wring free.
With Emily's current strength, what would happen is that Emily would merely not allow the darned thing the budge at all. Emily chuckled to herself and smiled darkly to her younger sister, as if conning her to do something a little more... desperate.
"If I was someone else," She started, "They would've hit you at this point. Try something else, sis."
She grinned, letting her sister's leg hit her side. Pain resistance training, she supposed as she allowed the hit to make her wince and take deeper breaths in order to control the pain.

Drea scowled at her sister's taunting tip. It was true, and she disliked that - but realized it was necessary. She was here to learn, after all, and not to be perfect.
She paused for just a moment, before stabbing Timog forward, throwing her weight behind it, hopefully to make her sister lose her balance. Then, using one leg as support, she brought her other leg forward to stomp on her sister's stomach to use it as a base to flip away, hopefully dragging Timog with her.
It would wrench her shoulder rather painfully, but she figured it was efficient enough... And while she knew there were probably other methods to get what she wanted, it was the first that popped into her head... And there were many counters for all sorts of different methods, so there was no telling what might happen. She could only hope that her future opponents wouldn't consider that she would go for something self-destructive first.
