Following behind him, Addie wished nothing more to see what kind of home Gabriel lived in. Especially since she hadn't seen much of it, she was curious. The brunette tip toed behind her tall friend, a hand on the wall keeping her up. Silently, she'd watch Gabriel from the door for a moment. For a while, really. H e was so skilled, there was a bit of envy and admiration as she looked at him. The smell was so good, it also looked yummy. Better than her cooking, especially since she just improvised while cooking.
Dinner would be ready.....followed by a motherly message to get her ass back in bed. Of course he caught her... It was Gabriel after all. Perhaps he had eyes in the back of his head....
Pouting again, she'd slowly make her way back to bed. Regardless or not if she wanted to or not, Addie had to listen to Gabriel; he knew best. Even if she broke his word once already by getting up. Sitting down, she'd pull the blankets over her once more and look across the room.
I wonder what it is...sooooo goood smelliiinnngggg...
There were very few words that could be used to say how hungry she was and how it smelled so very delicious. Bringing her hands up to her face, she'd bring her hands up to her face, rubbing her palms against her temples softly. "It smells soo good Gabriel!"
Smile...smile.

Gabriel smiled flipping the meat gingerly over the edge of the pan with a carefulness a four year old would be with his legos as he transferred them about the room with utmost care. Of course he'd worked excellently hard at it and given the detail to the piece it would surly be enjoyed before shortly after being consumed and killed a hungry stomach monster.
Gabriel totted the plate around curiously using the extension of his tray magnificently of course a waiter he was not, skilled cook maybe, but he was much more aiming for the skilled host. Addie had earned that much in sticking it out with him this long. He could trust her. This could be a regular thing right.
"Here we go!" Gabriel would project balancing the plate before placing it before Addie.
"Bon Appetite."

The smell! So delicious! It looked too pretty to eat, her bright blue gaze was locked on the lovely plate before her, looking up at Gabriel with a smile. "Thank-you! It looks and smells too good to eat!" The brunette chuckled a little before she picked up the cutlery and cut a bit of meat and popped it into her mouth. The taste did not disappoint! It was surely the best thing the girl had eaten since....Meals with the Watanabi family. Nothing could beat gramma's cooking though.
Savoring the flavour, Addie would smile through the ow of chewing. Why did good things have to hurt? Because she took many blows to the jawular area hours before hand. swallowing the bit of noms, the girl would once again look to Gabriel,"This is amazing! I'd do anything to be able to cook like this." She'd eat slowly, when something that delicious was put before her, it was the best way to eat.
"Do you think you could teach me how to cook like this?"
That time, she kept her focus on the plate while speaking. The girl was a little embarrassed that she couldn't cook like him, that she had never officially learned how to cook. It was just something she picked up from watching people, although she could bake... That was one thing she could do... "I don't mean to bug you... But It would be amazing to be able to cook this well! You are amazing Gabriel!"

Gabriel squinted in an attempt to divert the overt sense of praise towards his cooking, it certainly boosted his ego when taken out of context but of course he'd try and focus on the moment understanding that it had a very terminal use in this situation alone. Though he could dream right.
A smooth smile lit his features calmly. "So you think it's that good huh?" Gabriel laughed a bit being unable to contain himself.
"Well then how bout we make this a regular thing, you drop by, we train, and then I feed you, we get a double lesson in that way, next time though you can watch..."
Gabriel smirked with a bit of enjoyment seeing things all end up perfectly by this end.
"Deal?"

Seeing the smile on Gabriel's face made her happy, it was nice to see him happy; or seemingly happy. Addie always had a lingering worry about the happiness of those in her life, no matter how brief or troubled the time together was. She'd smile up at him before continuing to pick away at the meal, it was just so delicious. He'd ask her if it was really as good as she had said. The brunette would merely nod happily and give him a thumbs up. with her forkless hand. So gooooodddd...
There was a proposition.
Aid in her search for strength, the want to protect and the need to be able to hold her ground. Long brown bangs covered her eyes, the hair reached a the tip of her nose; it had grown since she first met him. She was changing, she had been the entire time. Ever since she entered the States, Addie was slowly changing into a different person, one far different than the Addie from Japan. Surely, if her father were to appear, he'd be surprised.
Gabriel's offer almost seemed too good to be true, the girl would smile as she focused on her plate. No moment of hesitation, no fear anymore. He had offered her a hand in becoming someone great, of course Addie would accept. Why pass up a chance to change herself? Tilting her head to the side, she'd stare up at Gabriel for a moment with a serious expression. "You've got yourself a deal."
Happiness.
Addie wasn't alone, there was a friendly person that she cared for who wanted to help her. Even if it was out of pity, she was happy. Her smile would appear once again as she finished off the last of the delicious food, one day with practice she'd be as good as Gabriel...in cooking at least.
"Thanks..."
