I am a Sudeki and with that comes a sense of honor and purpose. I will live up to my family name and honor my Father's memory."
She stood there, her body now facing his as she let those eyes meet his own.
"I will train with Leon and if he is okay with it I will train with you."
As for the others. She had yet to meet this David person and as for Gabriel. She got the feeling that he may tear her apart if she ever went after Kevala. And it was clear in her mind that the second the protection of her Uncle ended on that bitch she would.
"Just so long as you keep Kevala away from me."
She did not wish to come into contact with the girl. She did not trust herself to stay calm in that situation just yet. She would eventually.....but it was still too soon after her parent's murder to handle it properly.

Matrim, being as oblivious to the entire situation as he was, decided it was probably time to get some insight to why that was. Why she hated Kevala so much, "I accept that term," Matrim would say, "Under one condition, and that is that you have to tell me exactly what it is that makes you hate Kevala so much. I realize that's a bit personal most likely, but I like being in the loop and usually I go to her for information. But if I ask her, I'll get her version of the story. I'd rather hear your own."
Matrim knew that knowledge was power, and lately he had been lacking whcih in his eyes left him weak and vulnerable to surprises. He figured now was a good time to start figuring some of this stuff out, and knowing things that went on in the school. The more he knew, the better off he'd be with his position.

The answer was quite simple one she really figured he would know from the fact that the Katashi's were the ones to kill her family.
"She is a Katashi."
She shrugged softly and would tilt her head lightly. Her brow raising slightly as she spoke once more.
"They killed my family."
She really did not feel as though she had to explain the matter further. Their clan had not cared that her Mother was not a full blooded Sudeki when they killed her, so why should she care about Kevala only being half Katashi. Oh yes, she had done some digging. She knew the basic story.
It made no difference to her that Kevala had children, nobody had cared her parents had her. It was a matter of blood lines now. An old vendetta that had spilled into her lap and that she was now a part of. She did not know if this would cause a problem but she would not be surprised if it did. That Gabriel fellow had made sure she understood that Kevala was under his protection. Like she could have missed the hidden meaning in that. Heh

"They killed my family." She said, Matrim didn't know that Kevala was connected with the Katashi's nor did he really care all that much. But what he did care about was making sure she didn't misguide her vengeance into murder. She could attack Kevala all she wanted, he didn't care about that.
"Unless Kevala was directly responsible for your parents death, she is not to be killed," Matrim said to her, "The key word being killed. If you want to kick that crap out of her? If you want to break her limbs torture her or do anything like that? That's on you. But if you end her life, I'll end yours. Got me?"
And after that he'd smile and laugh a bit, walking up he'd pat her on the shoulder, "Otherwise all's good. Just let me know when you can start training and all that once you double check with Leon if that's what you plan to do. I'm sure you'll know how to get a hold of me given I'm practically always around somewhere yeah? If not here's my information," Matrim would write down some information for her such as cell number and home phone number.
"There let me know once you can," He said, "And you shouldn't have any issues getting around school. Any idiot can navigate around here." Matrim said, "So I guess I'll see you around then eh?"

She sighed. What did that Kevala chick have on these people? Was she really that great of a person? Honestly! Astrid wanted to know!
She would finally nod. Fine. She would not kill the bitch. Til she knew she could get away with it. Heh
"I wont kill her. Though I dont know what is so freaking special about her."
She grumbled lightly and then took the paper he wrote his information down on.
"I will let you know as soon as I actually find Leon. Heh. That being god knows when."
She sighed. It was all beginning to be a bit frustrating honestly. She really did not know why it was so hard to find him! Then as Matrim strarted to leave she would nod.
"Sure. I will be in touch."
She was not one to keep people longer than they wished. She had enough shit going on in her life right now..she did not need to be annoying.

"Eh it's nothing personal it just looks bad if one of my Pillars gets killed. You know, business and such," Matrim said. He didn't want to get into it with how she was somewhat his responsibility being a student, just as Mitsukai was. He didn't really have an active part in their growth as fighters but he wanted to fix that a bit. He needed to get in touch with Mitsukai again soon.
"I will let you know as soon as I actually find Leon. Heh. That being god knows when. Sure. I will be in touch." She said and he waved, walking off and leaving her to go off and do her own business.
More Sudeki's huh... I see.
