The man withdrew a pistol aiming it at Matrim, Matrim laughed, the heel of his foot coming out of his shoe, his hands going up defensively, "This is your last chance, put the gun down or I'm going to kick your ass, tie you up, and proceed to count cards until the only number on your bank statement over four digits will be the address on the envelope."
"You really are conceited aren't you?" The man looked as though he would shoot, so Matrim shot his leg out, flipping the shoe so that it connected with the bottom of the mans hand, knocking it up so that when he shot it hit ceiling and ricocheted off into a nearby wall. Matrim took off of his foot with a shoe, slamming the heel of his palm up into the nose of the man with the gun, slamming with all of his strength as he felt bone break and blood pour, the man falling back unconscious.
"Fuck... how am I supposed to know how to tie them up while I'm.... dr.... druAGHAHGAHGAH!" He said looking down at the guy, "Ew...." He dragged him over to the others who's feet were stuck to the ground by a couple knives. He took the knives out of the floor but not their feet, and placed them around a pillar. He found some rope and tied them off before leaving them, taking the elevator back and walking into the high stakes area, "Oh... is that... Hey Sara!"
Matrim would walk over to her and sit down, "Hows it going?" He would ask as he set his card down, signaling he wanted to play.

*tingletingle... sniffsniff* My need to fight is growing... =____=" He's coming isn't he...? He's going to make me give him my monies... As she turned in her seat towards the entrance to the high stakes area, he was already calling to her. "Oh... is that... Hey Sara!"Her gaze followed him, her eyes narrowed suspiciously as he approached. She not-so-subtly wrapped her arms around her chips and tugged them towards her. Mien... =_=" Charles, noting the look on Sara's face assumed this was some sort of enemy to her, and shifted closer to her in his own seat as Matrim sat across from them. "Hows it going?" He set his card on the table and dealer took it, swiped it and set his cards and chips down in front of him. Sara took note of the amount of chips, and became more possessive of her own. If there was one person in this casino who could take the money from her, it was him... "Well it was going good..." She smirked at him. "Guess what I won... I won a car..." She stuck her tongue out at him mockingly, yet at the same time, her foot reached under the table to rub against his leg. Charles shifted uncomfortably. "Well.. Shall we play then?" " "What?" But it was already to late, the dealer had started and Sara sadly dropped in her ante. This wasn't going to end well... She could already tell... Sara briefly and quickly looked at the cards in front of her. Her movement was so quick Charles probably wouldn't have seen it, Matrim on the other hand though.... She narrowed her eyes at him again. "Raise..." She threw a handfull of chips in the center.

"Well it was going good... Guess what I won... I won a car..." Her leg reached out and her foot rubbed Matrim's leg, his eyes went wide and he giggled quietly as his eyes focused on his cards, filled with worry as she placed in her ante, he was terrified after seeing the cards he had, there was no way....
Damnit why'd they have to be this good? She's gonna kill me if I win all her money! Maybe I should fold... no she'd catch on and call me names... maybe she'll fold... or maybe her cards are better. Guess I gotta wait for the flop....
Matrim held onto his aces, and on the flop a third ace came out.
Shit... trip aces....
He looked worried as hell as he smiled up at Sara, slowly extending his leg to rub her leg back with his own foot, "So, a car huh? That's really good baby! What type of car did you win?"
And that's when the waitress came by again, setting down Matrim's drink she leaned against him as her arms slid over him into a small hug, she whispered into her year, "Is that your wife?"
"Yes." Matrim said in a robot voice, no part of his body, foot included moving even a centimeter aside from his chin to speak. The girl would then go over and do the same to Sara, and lean in and kiss her ear as she went to hug her from behind on the other side of the table.
"Is there anything I can get you Mrs. G?"
Oh..... this place..... is.... AWESOME!

Sara saw the look on his face as he checked his cards. The terrified look told her NOTHING. He was either terrified of losing, or terrified of her... Useless boy... And then his foot was rubbing back against her. She chuckled softly as she closed her eyes for a second, enjoying the feeling. Maybe not so useless after all...
"So, a car huh? That's really good baby! What type of car did you win?"
She opened her eyes to look at him again, leaning forward and resting her head on her hand as she leaned on the table. "It was a truck... A very nice truck... With a very nice bed..." She gave him a wink and Charles seemed to catch on. He moved to lean closer to her "Sara... Are you um... single?"
Sara however, wasn't listening. At this point, a waitress came by, her arm wrapping around him in a hug as she whispered into his ear. The look on her face was... interesting to say the least as she glanced at Sara. She couldn't hear what the woman asked, but Sara met her glance with a threatening smile as Matrim's whole body froze. She would have laughed at this had she been in a better mind, poor Matrim must be having a heart attack.
Sara's eyes followed the woman as she made her way around the table. Absentmindedly, she threw in another handful of chips to help the game along. The woman reached her and her arm slid over Sara's shoulder. Instinctively Sara moved into the touch, sucking in a breath. A side effect of the addiction the root that she could never quite get past. Hypersensitive skin... The waitresses breath moved over Sara's ear as she kissed it and then whispered to her.
"Is there anything I can get you Mrs. G?"
Sara chuckled, picking up on what was going on. The simple name she had used excused (at least for now in Sara's state of mind) what she had just seen with Matrim. The girl knew her place. Sara liked that. "Well for now... Just a shot of the strongest stuff you got..." Sara's eyes met Matrims. "We'll see after that..."
The waitress moved off to get Sara's drink, Sara's hand running over her thigh as she passed. Charles was practically falling off the chair as he glared at Matrim. He threw in all his chips, confident in his pair of kings in front of him, matching suit with the ace out. "Sara didn't tell me she was married...." This guy doesn't look to strong or very sober... Sara's eyes were still glued to the back of the waitress and she filled the drink at the bar.

"Sara didn't tell me she was married...."
"Well that was nice of her," Matrim said as he threw in some chips. The dealer burned a card and then laid down the fourth, a two. Who the hell needed a two? Oh well. Matrim waited for everyone else to place in their bets before the next round, whether they would stay with the current one or if anyone would raise. Either way Matrim was comfortable with it. He could've stayed the way he was or raised. It didn't matter to him, "I told the waitress I was, didn't seem to stop her though."
Hmm, I wonder if I should tell her I've won a ton of money....
"Hey Sara remember that thing? With Solaris? And my head? And Math? I just won a ton of money at 21," Matrim said, "Made a few friends as a result."
He thought he'd keep the conversation alive, "So who's this guy you've got following you around?" Matrim looked up at Chuck with a rather big smile. Poor shmuck probably thought he was going to get laid by taking a drunk girl back to his room for the night or something.

"Hey Sara remember that thing? With Solaris? And my head? And Math? I just won a ton of money at 21. Made a few friends as a result."
"What?" Sara's head snapped back to the table as she scanned what was going on. Automatically, she threw in more chips and took another look at her cards. She frowned and looked back to Matrim. Catching on, she smiled. "Amazing... Bet I made more... Can't you go anywhere without making friends? I hope you at least had fun then..."
She smirked, playing with a chip in her fingers when the waitress suddenly appeared again with her drink. Sara smiled, taking the shot as the waitress leaned down, whispering to her again. "I'm going to just be right next to the bar... When you need me, let me know... I'll come right away..." Sara couldn't help but giggle drunkenly, her face turning red. "Nice Matrim... Really nice..." She completely ignored the look from Charles.
"So who's this guy you've got following you around?"
"Who..? OH, Charlie here... He's been buying me drinks all night!" She patted Charles on the back. "He's been so nice to me! He even saw my boobs and didn't laugh!"
Charles was fuming at this point. His kings could still do this, and the guy looked nervous about his hand. If Sara would just shut it before this got physical... He smiled at Matrim apologetically, a hint of a smirk in there. "They were very nice...."

"Who..? OH, Charlie here... He's been buying me drinks all night! He's been so nice to me! He even saw my boobs and didn't laugh!" Sara said, and Matrim laughed. He figured she must have flashed them in order to pass up being carded or something. Either way he couldn't help but get out of that Chuck had seen something he shouldn't have. Oh yes, there would be blood for that one. But not yet, Matrim took a sip of whiskey thinking about the two who were back down the elevator shaft in the garage looking area.
Maybe I should go join Chuck into that circle....
"They were very nice...." Chuck said, and Matrim pretended he had a sneeze, letting out a fake sneeze he flicked a chip using his thumb toward Chuck's forehead. Either way Matrim would nod towards the dealer who would put down the final card.... a King. With no other King's on the table Matrim saw that he probably would have won.
"No guts no glory charlie boy," Matrim would say, putting in a large amount of chips, trying to match it so that Charles would have to go all-in in order to stay in the game. He'd look up to Sara and giggle about the waitress bit. Something told him tonight was going to be an amazing night.

As Charles turned back to his cards something slammed into his forehead. The little chip bounced off his head and landed back in front of Matrim. Charles was knocked off the chair and landed hard on his back, letting out a loud grunt.
Sara peeked over the edge of the table at him and burst into laughter. She was laughing so hard that she snorted loudly. This only made her laugh louder and harder. So hard that she had to step away from the table for a moment to compose herself. All around the room, the people turned to look at what was going on at their table, shaking their heads about disrupting the peace.
Charles, in his embarrassment, pushed himself back to his feet quickly, his head pounding from the hit. "Now really! I know that was you! Apologize now!--..." His gaze fell to the cards on the table just as Sara came back to see the next card.
"No guts no glory charlie boy."
Charles let out a small cry of delight and dropped back into the chair just as Sara pushed everything into the center of table save for one chip. She played with it sadly as she glared at Matrim. Her mind was having the battle of the century, her ODD for Matrim battling the fact that she knew she was going to lose. It killed her...
Charles looked happily at the cards and pushed everything into the center as well. Every last chip and then leaned in close to Sara. As he did, he flipped his cards, revealing his three kings. "Well Sara... It seems I've won pretty much all your money..." He sent a quick smirk to Matrim. "You know... If you needed a place to stay tonight, or if you wanted another drink... You're more then welcome to come with me..."
His hand moved to Sara's waist as she stared open mouthed at his cards. Oh hell no... She flipped hers. Nothing. Nothing at all. She turned her gaze up to Matrim, hoping he had something... Which was messed up. Her, hoping Matrim had won? Her hand clasped onto her last chip as though for dear life.

"Now really! I know that was you! Apologize now!--..."
"I'm sorry," Matrim said, it was true, he had done it so he did owe the guy an apology. But in the end he wasn't exactly worried as Charles let out a small cry of joy as if he had one. Matrim looked at the cards wondering what the guy had... he didn't know what he had though, but it would suck if he won this out of absolutely nowhere. Either way, matrim would remain calm as the man went on.
"Well Sara... It seems I've won pretty much all your money... You know... If you needed a place to stay tonight, or if you wanted another drink... You're more then welcome to come with me..." He said, pushing everything in and turning his cards. Matrim's face went to that of utter sadness. He hated doing this to the guy, he probably didn't deserve it even if he was hitting on Sara.... he moved his hand to her waist, and Matrim was about to say something when....
"OH NO YOU FUCKING DIDN'T SIR!" The waitress started coming over when Matrim looked up at him.
"Sorry Chuck," He said, turning his cards over, "Aces beat Kings," Matrim would say as the waitress would suddenly reach over and attempt to grab Chuck by the back of his shirt and attempt to send him flying toward the Black Jack booth. Matrim's eyes would go wide as the girl attempted to attack Chuck. "The hell...?"
"That's MY bitch....."
Matrim turned toward Sara, "Vegas people are really possessive..... huh?" He would stand up, lean over, and pull chips toward himself.

Sara saw Matrim's face drop and knew it was over as Charles hand moved to her waist. This was going to be awkward, she was going to have to deal with this leech... Violently... Why did the nice ones always want something in return? And they had had so much fun tonight and now he was going to ruin it by getting knocked around D=
"OH NO YOU FUCKING DIDN'T SIR!"
Sara and Charles jumped at the same time, their heads snapping towards the waitress as she approached. What the hell...? She heard Matrim talking, but she was mesmerized by the waitress as she strode over to the table, absolutely fuming. It took everything Sara had to hold in the giggles when she realized why the girl was coming over here.
As she grabbed Charles by the scruff of the neck and pretty much tossed him away, Sara saw the look on his face. Uh oh... Her gaze snapped back to the table to Matrim's cards. He didn't.... Sara stared blankly at the table, letting out an odd laugh at the waitress, her mind still not completely comprehending the idea that Matrim now had every one of her chips except one...
"Vegas people are really possessive..... huh?"
"... Or you're just not possessive enough..." she replied, referring to the fact that he didn't stick up for her, her eyes still staring blankly at his cards as he pulled the chips before him. Sara could either beat the shit out of him, now, or give it one more go. Both she and Matrim had one more chance. She, to win back her money, Matrim, to fix this before she killed him.
As she debated, the waitress came back over and moved up behind Matrim again, whispering in his ear. "Sorry about that, I dealt with the creep though... Did I do good...? You're wife doesn't seem to happy with you..." She chuckled softly, her hands running down his arms as she stepped away. "I'll bring you one more drink Mrs. Gallagher."
Sara slammed her last chip down on the table. "Once more..." The dealer nodded and dealt out the two hands.

"... Or you're just not possessive enough..." She said and Matrim blushed a bit.
"I... I tried to and then I felt bad because I could have killed a man with fifteen thousand dollars," Matrim said, "Not to mention that waitress is scary responsive...." He said as she came over and whispered in his ear. Matrim coughed into his hand as his skin seemed to shudder as a chill ran up his spine. He was not used to this, either way, Matrim was dealt a hand when Sara slammed down her last chip. Matrim smiled up at her, and without looking at his cards he pushed in all of his chips.
"Once more..."
"If you're going all in, so am I," Matrim said as he pushed every last chip into the center with a grin, he didn't know what his cards were but he had a good feeling. He would then look at his cards, and immediately his heart sank down into his stomach, his eyes starting at a two of clubs and a 9 of hearts.
WHAT THE SHIT IS THAT?!?!?!?!?
He wanted to cry, frown and cry, his eyes going from his cards to Sara, back to his cards, then to Sara again. Almost hoping he'd see a reaction from her that said she had just as cruddy as a hand as him. Maybe the flop would have good cards, maybe not. Either way he looked up, his eyes watering. He downed his whiskey quickly, hoping the warm feeling would comfort him. Instead the sudden rush of it caused his neck to twinge, "Bleghahghahg...." He made the strange noise as his body twisted suddenly before returning to normal.
"So, hows the hand?"

"If you're going all in, so am I."
The fact that he pushed in every last one of he chips. Had he looked at his cards? She hadn't been paying attention, dammit D< She peeked at her cards. A pair of 6's. That wasn't to bad. Her eyes glanced up at Matrim. She gave no reaction. A pair of 6's was neutral anyways. Not amazing, not terrible. What could you say about it?
He took his shot just as the waitress sat Sara's drink down next to her. "Here you are Mrs. Gallagher. And can I just say... I love that shirt..." She leaned her head down right next to Sara's her gaze down the front of the shirt. Sara, surprisingly, found this EXTREMELY comical, and burst out laughing as she walked away again.
"So, hows the hand?"
Sara's laughter died down and she smirked at Matrim, turning over her cards and laying them in the center of the table. Because they were all in and no more betting could be done, the dealer simply laid 5 cards on the table, one after the other. Sara sat frozen in her seat, looking at the cards incredulously. Then, she picked up her drink and took the shot, readying herself. Matrim was going down...
The cards: 6 of spades, 2 of hearts, 2 diamonds, 9 of diamonds, and a 5.
............ Oh ya... Matrim was a dead man...
The waitress, being the smart woman that she was, stepped close to the table and put her hands in the air, holding a notebook. "We're taking bets!", as Sara pulled her feet up onto the stood and pushed off, launching herself over the table at Matrim's chest to knock him off and onto his back. The waitress looked back shocked. "Bet's close in 1 minute!"
The men around the room started scrambling to get their bets in.

"We're taking bets!" The waitress said, as Sara took off at Matrim....
Oh jesus chr----
Matrim was tackled at the chest, being knocked onto his back his hands would come up to Sara's chest, aiming to launch her to spring her up and forward away from him. "Bet's close in 1 minute!" Matrim could already tell from the alcohol this was going to make for an interesting fight as he tossed his card onto the table for them to put the money onto. He would struggle to get up and face her if tossing her away managed to get her off of him, his fists coming up defensively.
A smile crossed his face as he said, "So we're going to fight eh?" He'd say, "What's the winner get?" He'd ask, egging her on by waving his hand towards him, his back now to the poker table.
God my chest hurts....

As Matrim hit the floor, his arms came up and Sara was launched over him. She did a sort of flip and landed hard on her back with a groan. The flip had kick started the alcohol again, and even harder then it had been originally. Her vision swam as she stared up at the ceiling. She rolled onto her side and up onto all fours. Her whole body seemed to be off, her center of gravity and balance shot to hell. She wobbled and stumbled as she tried to get to her feet. This wasn't going to work so well... Maybe she had acted just a little to rashly... Oh no, no you didn't... Keep going...Sara nodded to herself and focused her eyes on Matrim with his fists up and she did the same. "So we're going to fight eh? What's the winner get?"She waved a hand through the air at him as he egged her on. "Psh... Winner gets to be on top..." She started laughing again, finding the idea hilarious. She couldn't wait to get back to the hotel room... But wait... it was with Matrim... =___=" She stopped laughing as she realized she couldn't really escape him now... They were stuck together, and for the rest of their lives, no matter how mad at him she got... Oh god O_________O it's ok... take it one day at a time... just kick his ass now, deal with it later... not like you'll remember anyways...What?D< GET HIMSara came forward quickly, throwing her right fist out for a right hook at his cheek, all her speed and grace going into the simple move. What actually happened: Sara drunkenly stumbled forward and roughly threw a right hook for his face, pretty much missing him because of double vision.

"Psh... Winner gets to be on top..." She said and Matrim smiled at that. She came at Matrim, throwing her right fist for.... well it looked like it was coming for him from his point of view, so he attempted to dodge as she swung at air and he dodged completely into where the punch, if thrown correctly, probably still would have managed to hit him. As a crowd gather Matrim would aim to ram her with his shoulder and keep going until he hit a wall, aiming to slam her against it....
Oh yeah, she's drunk... this will be pretty easy and then I get to be on to--- wait she tricked me now I want her to win! But I'm still gonna try... actually... being on top is sorta.... hmm...
Instead what his body reacted to and tried to do was to actually just sort of grab her and fall over on top of her in front of everyone and attempt to roll around holding onto her. The alcohol was also getting to him too now that his blood was pumping, his state of alert was actually working against him, and not having the sobering effect someone would hope for in a situation like this.
This doesn't feel like I'm still standing.... why's the world spinning?
