To be strong.
To protect those she cares for.
To become someone who fights for those she loves, no longer dwindling in selfish feelings and pointless fights for no one. She had a purpose, a reason to fight these people. To train and find herself injured and laying in pain at night. Sure, her pain was nothing compared to those around her, she had lived an easy life compared to those around her. That was one thing to be sure of, but to her. These feelings, the hurt that came along with everything, being around people, and actually having something inhabit her cold heart... it was all new to her.
Gradually she was becoming a person who she could be proud of...In some weird way.
Frustrated because of all the losses, how she could never once stand long enough in a fight to actually deal damage to those she fought. Was she doomed to be a loser? Always so far behind those she wished with all her heart to protect? Sure, they were in leagues far ahead of hers, she was lingering in the darkness of their shadows! It mattered not. No matter how tired she was, or how ashamed of a loss. Addie wasn't going to throw in the towel.
That she was sure of.
Laying in the park, her bright blue gaze focused up on the clouded over and dark sky above her. She had been resting in the park for a good portion of the day. Gathering her thoughts and wishing to center her mind into believing that she could really one day become useful. Pulling her cellphone from her pocket, the girl would flip open the phone and text a dear friend.
There was no reason in her message, she didn't state why. Part of her wished for a rematch against Gabriel, since last they met in the park, she had to fight with Mischa and Gil. Not exactly what she had expected. No matter how much she wished to talk to someone and pour her heart out, she'd do no such thing. Words through actions. It was how she handled things.
Silly.....But for the most part it got everything done.
All that remained was to wait for the young man, Addie would probably wait all night if she had too. She was silly that way.

Gabriel got the message, and a slow response he'd meet her with, his body felt a bit taxed, weakened due to a bit of his actions being used like an immovable temple. Later only to figure out that his body couldn't handle quite a damaging "boost" to his figure. The man walked nearly much like a crawl towards the park arriving with a slow breath calm and consorted but not entirely broken down. He was weak but yet to be destroyed just yet.
"Yes Addie?"
His motions were obvious he was not at full. Feet weighted don by the force of a pair of studded boots. His hands gloved in metal sheets, even the very coat he wore seemed to be a bulking weapon on his shoulders. The once great Gabriel Seran brought down by the weight of tools sought to better him. In time. In time.

Addie had sat up not long after sending the text, her blue gaze had scanned the park over and over as she awaited the arrival of the great Gabriel Seran. Waiting patiently like a dog for the return of the master, she sighed heavily before placing both hands onto the ground, keeping her sitting up whilst waiting. The feeling of the grass between her fingers was nice, long since she had time to enjoy such a thing. Remembering the blissful snow covered paradise that was Alaska. Remembering the fun in the snow whilst the sun poked through, shining down upon the people of Point hope. It was nice to remember happy things, she had been blessed compared to some.
She was given far too much time to think, but it wasn't long before her dark haired comrade made an appearance! Suddenly, she felt as if there was something weighing down her shoulders and a stinging in her heart. Watching as her good friend slowly struggled towards her, it was so very painful to watch. A friend who on so many occasions had handed her butt to her. Who picked her up, who helped her after a fight with him, who had agreed to help her in becoming strong.
Gabriel was not himself, it was obvious something was wrong.
Feeling horrible, the brunette would look down at the ground, her bangs feel before her eyes, covering them, whilst the rest covered her bare shoulders. "I'm sorry! you could have said no..." Even without knowing why he seemed to out of it, Addie felt guilt. Her voice riddled in regret and sadness.
She was causing people trouble...
Always.

She was met with a fair smile. Yes Gabriel would take after "Unfettered" in some light. The wounded warrior showing up with something of a limp, some struggle painful in his appearance, sure it was painful but he'd never stop based on one moment of blatant judgment. This was his choice, and as they said, No pain no gain.
"No by all means, do not worry about me, this will be good for both of us."
Gabriel nodded and grinned presenting a position ready to fight. Yes he was determined, a fighting spirit that never left him because there was a bit more that drove him than a past, pride, even ambition, there was love that held strong over years of change. Love powerful in its own light.

Good for both of them?
How could it be good when she felt horrible? To fight a friend when they weren't at their best was low! Well, whether or not Gabriel saw them as friends or not, she would continue to believe such a principal. It wasn't until he posed himself for a fight, when Addie realized something.
Gabriel wasn't going to back down.
He had joined her upon an obvious request for a fight, words that merely said to meet with her; spelled out a challenge for battle. Gabie knew that, which is why he appeared. Although, why he did so. To come to the park during the night, when not at 100%... To fight with someone, perhaps a little brave. But Addie couldn't help but feel guilty.
None the less, Addie was not going to give in. Gabriel would be insulted, right?
To not fight him was to shame him, or so she thought at least. Following the direction of her mind, the brunette ignored the orders from her heart. Fighting the king of darkness whilst at his weakest... She'd go through with it... No matter what.
Standing up Addie smiled softly at Gabriel, bowing her head for a moment in respect for her dear friend. A moment to follow was her rushing forward, drawing back her fist as she closed the gap. Only to go for the face, pay back right?
HELL YEAH!!
Revenge for all the damage he had placed upon her face :3

Gabriel breathed slowly he'd rely upon his sense of control, pacing himself as evenly as he'd ever done so. Calm and controlled each movement paced at an instant, he knew from the first motions he wasn't going to last lang, not at all Addie was by far his superior at this point but once more he reaffirmed with himself that he'd need to process and grow from this fight it was just as the others. Fight at his weakest only to realize what it felt like to be a true warrior.
Gabriel jerked swiftly, or about as quick as he could manage extending his hand upwards towards his face as he'd catch her blow only feeling it force him back smacking into his face with a dull throb. Yes it hurt but he'd dulled the majority of the motion. Gabriel would then twist his left wrist holding her palm to guild it downward by his side in the same action pulling Addie down with his forceful grip. Deciding with the same motion Gabriel would cock his skull into the bottom of her lip/chin hoping to tear her out of that subconscious world and into this one. However weak he was he still had the fighters spirit. That would without a doubt fight on even still.

She was pulled down by his grip, but with her opposite arm, she'd swing a fist into his face. After all, it seemed like she had grown faster then he was; which was a little odd. Gabriel was fast, really fast. EXACTLY WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO PRINCIE? Confusion settled in, bringing in so many questions for the young man.
Addie was a little too nosy for her own good, which could be a little bad...ESPECIALLY FOR HER. If she managed to punch Gabriel in the face using her left hand, she'd pull her right free from his grasp and go for his face with her right again. She wasn't going to give up. She wanted him to feel pain, ESPECIALLY IN THE FACE!
She was a little bitter.
Just a little.
No matter how off her was, Gabriel wouldn't give up. He held tightly to the flames of his fighting spirit, no matter what condition he was in. Surely, he was a true warrior, in her opinion at least. Still willing to fight no matter what. Addie one day wished to posses such a skill...

The thrust of the blow hit dead on and due to the position Gabriel had gotten himself in there was certainly no avoiding a move as such, once the contacted blow made an impact on his face he felt a bit of blood well up in his mouth shifting the entire of his momentum out away to the right regaining his old control also letting Addie free from her restraints.
"Gotten a bit tougher it seems..."
Gabriel said through harsh pants feeling exhausted already, not but two motions and he could already feel a bit of the pain seep it strangling his warrior spirit, the passion in his blood.
"Common then show me more." Gabriel would say gesturing with his hands out in front body angled just over his heels in a leaned over position slightly top heavy.

She seemed to have gotten tougher? SEEMED!?
Really, Addie didn't feel any different, she was the same and always had been. Looking at Gabriel, her eye brows arched whilst looking at him. Even after that he still wanted more, even though he wasn't on top of his game.. It was bothering her to fight him in such a state. But since he didn't back down, there wasn't much she could do....but.......
FIGGGHHHTTTTTT.......
With a step closer, Addie would go for the knee's, trying to bring him down. Seconds to follow she'd send a fist towards the young man's face.
D< GO DOWN!
She didn't really want to fight him at all.
D<
GO DOWN! GO DOWN!

Growing, building, his pupils pulsated vigorously showing the attentive nature of this fight, yes his focus was forward and fulfilled he could press onward however tired he was one powerful hit and that was it he had to build upon his strike. Giving up was not an option by his standards regardless. He'd counter by turning right exposing his left face of the body leaping into a kick to avert her first strike at his knees. Now aerial he had but one motion brining his left hand to cover his face protectively. the thud rummaging him back a spot before his weight came down into the elbow aimed at Addie's lower chin roughly.
on the landing however he felt his body collapse unable to carry on. He was tired out and stressed for more. Eyes faded over pounding in his head roughly begging for release. This'd be just one fall, nothing to follow it but his rise. Soon, soon enough.

After jumping to avoid her attempt to take out his knee's he'd elbow her in the face. Surely a little less Gabriel like, since normally it would have hurt a little more... .____. way more. Although, she did almost find her self falling backwards... Almost. Collapsing to the ground the mighty Gabriel was done for the battle; so it seemed. Standing silently for a moment, she'd watch him; waiting for one last bit of strength to find him. It was Gabriel, surely he'd be able to carry on. Even though she knew he was tired out before hand, knowing all to well that fighting him in such a state would not bring her the sense of pride... The brunette felt horrible.
He could have just said no.
Crouching down near him, she'd gently place a hand on his head. Her bright blue stare locked upon the young man with sort of a motherly stare, she felt bad for him; even without knowing what brought him to her in such a state.
"You know Gabriel, you would have saved yourself a lot of trouble, just saying no. I would have just bothered you another day." The brunette would chuckle, a small smile slowly appearing on her face as she looked at him.
It took a moment.
Oh shiiiiii-----
He needs to get home.
That was the next part of everything, although Addie wasn't quite sure how to solve such a predicament. If she called his home, would someone arrive to get him? Or something.....
.___.;;;; Hmmmm..
