Alexis tapped at the desk with her pencil, sighing and waiting. No one was in the class, though she could have sworn there was class today. She looked down at her watch only to find it was 15 minutes in. Kay, so obviously she messed up the schedule. She opened up her binders and found the time table to find out she was, in fact, in the wrong class. Well, well, well. She was supposed to be in music class, not fuckin' math!
Too late to go now!
She leaned back in the chair and rested her hands at the back of her head. Alexis was listening to her music and so she would try and get some shut eye. It would fail miserably due to her insomnia. She had taken a few pills last night to knock her out, but it never works... on top of the fact she still couldn't stop thinking of Gabriel. She was in love with him, and now worried for him. She didn't know where or what he was doing at the moment and it was making her feel uneasy. It used to be easy to keep tabs on him when she lived with him... knew he was safe when they went to bed at night.
Alexis saw a little stir in the corner of her emerald eyes. Her gaze looked up to see what would have caused it, only to see someone enter the room. Well, someone was an understatement. The being in the room was more than someone; she was Kevala.
Now there are a few options.
1) Be classic Lexi and do something mean to aggravate the girl
-or-
2) Be normal Lexi where she doesn't waste her breathe on something that could actually hurt her more than she was at the moment.
"...Wrong class too?" her grin was a closed mouth one, and only one side of her lip curled up. It was what she called her "pathetic smile". She normally did it when she couldn't fully smile due to sadness.

Kevala made her way into the classroom, the teacher was supposed to have left her transcripts for this class on her desk. It was the last one she needed to be able to say she could be rid of the highschool and onto college.
Entering the room, her eyes fell upon the one person she REALLY did not want to run into. Alexis.
Honestly she had nothing what-so-ever against the girl. She simply felt guilty over the whole thing. It had never been her intention to have what happened happen. Yeah, she really had hated herself since all this happened.
She knew that Alexis loved Gabriel, and yes, Kev loved him to, but she knew that he did not want her. It was enough for her to be his friend, or at least it had to be.
Then as the girl spoke to her she would cast her icy hues over toward her. A little shrug of her shoulders as she stuffed her hands into her pockets.
"Had to pick something up actually."
A soft, forced smile curling upon her lips as she struggled to seem as friendly as possible. Still waiting on some form of verbal assault over the matter of Gabriel.
Honestly what would you expect in this situation?

OF COURSE! Saying something was going to get the girl to stay long enough to make an awkward silence. Lately Alexis had been a softy, and right now, she was feelin' dat shit like..um...like...FEELIN' TEH GROOVE! Wow... random burst of energy!
Anyway... into seriousness!
Alexis felt bad for calling out Kevala. Maybe she deserved it, maybe she didn't. At the time it sure as hell felt like it and now she felt bad.
"Look.. Sorry for the other night. It was kind'a uncalled for."

Alexis just APOLOGIZED TO A GIRL SHE WASN'T A FAN OF!
Hell froze over, and whilst it was below 100*, pigs were flying south trying to find a warm place to migrate!
Her smiled warmed up slightly, trying to get comfortable with this whole "I'm sorry" thing. "I was just a little upset...and I can get really bitchy when I'm upset..."
Like the time she pushed Reira off a tower!

Kevala stopped as she looked around the room. Was Alexis seriously talking to her?
She would have raised her brow but she was honestly too shocked to do anything other than turn her eyes back to the girl.
Why was she apologizing to her? She did not deserve an apology. Okay what kind of twilight zone crap had she walked into this time. Fucking door must have been rigged for some kind of hallucinogen or something.
But, instead of fighting this whole fantasy world she figured it was safest to play along. She did not need to give her mind any more reason to go off the deep end.
"You have no reason to be sorry, though I greatly appreciate the gesture. I never meant to feel the way I did, nor do the things I did. It was wrong of me and I apologize for that."
She would then move to take a seat, figuring that perhaps the two of them should talk. It only made sense, given everything that had occurred and given the fact that they both had one thing at least in common....they both wanted to make sure that Gabriel was safe....But Kevala said nothing else as of yet...this was a very touchy conversation, just because it was the two of them having it. Best to take things a bit slow and very carefully.
Both girls could easily be set off by the wrong thing and honesty Kevala did not want that.

She let Kevala speak and watched as the girl sat herself down. They both were in the wrong. Alexis knew how it felt to fall for someone who wouldn't love you back. She was in the same position as Kev when Gabe went for Reira.
"You can't help your feelings just as I couldn't control them... Gabe The Control Freak can't even control his emotions." it was a joke of course. Kev would probably get it. Alexis' laugh would be a bit quiet, but it was apparent she was truly trying to make things better.
"But in all seriousness..I want to try to..." wow... "put this behind us. If Gabe thinks you are a good friend... I don't see the harm in my trying to get to know you better." since when does Alexis give second chances? "Well, that is if you don't mind..."
Alexis stood still, as if moving will ruin the atmosphere. She held her breath, hoping the girl wouldn't freak out and start yelling things like "WHY THAT FUCK WOULD I WANT TO TRY BEING YOUR FRIEND!? YOU ARE A FUCKING FREAK!"
Fingers crossed anyone?

Kevala would sit there for a minute, still debating on if perhaps she had eaten something containing the wrong kind of shrooms or something. This HAD to be a dream or some fucked up mental projection to which her mind was trying to play.
But she would not let herself fall for it. NEVER! She would continue to play along, even as her hand slipped down and pinched her thigh.
OW!
Okay so yeah...she was not dreaming....Which meant that Lex really did want to try and.....be...friends?
Okay so that was something she was sure NOBODY had seen coming...but yeah...worth a shot.
A light laugh at the joke about Gabriel. He was indeed a control freak and she knew that all too well.
"Sure, I mean if you are willing to try then so am I. I never wanted to be enemies with you."
It was clearly the honest truth. She had never had anything against the girl. Nothing at all.
Her small hand reaching out, a bit unsure of the action, hoping she did not draw back a bloody stump when all was said and done.
"Truce?"
They honestly had potential to get along rather well, IF they both were willing to put forth the effort.....Which seemed to be the case right now...which was just....scary.....

Alexis, at first, stared at the hand as if it was the fundamental source of the black plague. Though, she smiled afterward and reached out to take her hand in hers to give it a friendly shake. It wasn't that she had anything anymore hateful towards Kev.. its just.. she didn't like to shake hands.
And now it was awkward. Friendships usually didn't happen like "Hey..lets just be friends..because I think it is a good idea" they usually happen due to the fact the two beings had some form of chemistry. "Um... Did you... Want to go get a drink or something? On the house?"
It was worth a shot right? They needed to hang out to be friends... maybe while getting drunk they can fess up on some stuff and find common ground. Alexis could find something in common with just about anything... even a clod of dirt.
"We can drive there... then use a cab as a D.D?"
So this whole day was a new experience. She apologized to someone she normally would have hated for the rest of her life... and now she was asking someone to do something with her that didn't involve a boy and or sex. Last time she made a "hang out" plan was with Reira... and that was waaaaaay back in Point Hope..and was super awkward.... and now here she was... trying to convince her to go out with her..
"I insist.."

Kev would sit there, shaking Lex's hand and then pulling her own back. Her mind picking up on the awkwardness of the whole situation but that was something given off from both girls.
Then the suggestion was made to go out and grab a drink. Kev honestly could use one right about now and figured it might help to loosen up the mood some.
Honestly it had been awhile since she had gotten good and drunk....probably because it always led to bad things, BUT STILL!!!
She would smile, this time a bit more brightly as she nodded.
"That sounds great. See how much trouble we can get into huh?"
Rising to stand as she held that smile firmly in place.
"Wanna take your car or mine?"
She figured they might as well go together....since they were trying this whole friendship thing out. It was a start. The thought occurring to her that if they could actually make this work that things could get VERY interesting.
Come on....Two hot, bitchy, and somewhat unstable chicks, out on the town, single and drinking.....
DANGEROUS!!!!
But fun!!!
Kev would then stand there and wait for Lex to follow suit.

She agreed which was good. What was bad was the fact it was only noon and their goals were to get drunk now. You know you have problems whheeeeennnn.....
"My car. I don't like leaving it at the school for too long. 259 students can be immature and lay waste on it."Yeah she said lay waste...WUT!? *gangsta pose* She followed Kev up until she passed the girl and lead the way. She took the short route out of the school and to the student parking. Amongst the masses of the cars she found her green little punch buggy. She could have afforded a lot more of a sexy car, but she kept this one because it reminded her of how easy it was. It was the easiest she had ever stolen a car before... the other times took a little longer. Alexis unlocked the car from the remote in her pocket and opened the door to the drivers seat. Once in she started up the car only to have music blaring as loud as it could go. It was a bit startling, so she panicked and turned it down so it was pleasant background music. "Any preferences of a club or bar? Anywhere you can get in easy?" not for her sake..Alexis was usually able to get into any place... but that is because she had been pretending to be older than 21 since like... 14... If Kev gave her a club or pub or what ever... Alexis would drive there, and if she didn't well... it was her pick. When they arrived, she would find the best parking she could and hop out of the car. "We're are here!" |

Kev would follow Alexis to her car, climbing in as she thought over which bar she should suggest. She had no trouble getting in either when she really wanted to....because yeah....when you have a slight problem with drinking....you learn how to fake being older than you really are.
"The Spot is always fun and given the time of day it is still usually pretty busy."
Yeah it was one of those places where the party never seemed to stop. Which was good given what they were planning on doing.

Once they were there, Kev would climb out of the car. Waiting on Lex before she made her way to the front door. Upon entering she flashed that all too charming smile toward the bouncer....one she knew rather well and who had been chasing her for some time now.
"Hey Ty!"
Just waving to him as she motioned to Lex.
"This is my friend Lex. We are just gonna grab a couple drinks. Looking good as ever I see."
A little flirting and of course he did not even bother to look at either one of their IDs. It was a good thing that she could actually get by with things when she REALLY wanted to.
With that she would make her way to the bar, eyes cast back to make sure Lex was still there. Part of her not entirely sure that the two of them were actually doing this.
But none the less she found a spot and took a seat at the bar. Waiting now on Lex to order. Kev usually tried to stay away from alcohol, but honestly, right now.....she needed it.
"What are you having?"
That somewhat nervous smile once more in place.

They entered the club without having to be questioned. It was good 'cause she didn't feel like dealing with that shit... they got in and the place looked really fun. She didn't think she had ever been here before. Yeah, she passed by it a few times, but never entered.
They got up to the bar and of course the bar tender was paying attention to all the cute girls asking for drinks.
"What are you having?"
Alexis turned to Kev, a smile that could match Kev's perfectly. "A Vodka Cran... and you?" she said to her, but at the same time ordering it up. Alexis reached into her pocket to pull out a small tin container. With the thumb of the hand that was holding it, she pushed on the lid, sliding it open.
INSIDE WERE DA PILLS OF NO NOS!
She held out the case to Kev. She didn't know if the girl did drugs, but Alexis did. It tended to be the only thing closest to sleep she could get. Her old Qi sure did take a toll on her. Alexis can count on her fingers.. of one hand... how many times she had fallen asleep in her LIFE time. That and E was an addiction she accidentally got into and now it was keeping her mind off of Gabe.
One would think looking at the tin she was just offering some mints, but if someone actually got to look inside at the little pills.. they would see little pictures on them like stars, smiley faces, or hearts. If the girl refused, Alexis would merely shrug it off and take one for herself.
The bar tender handed her the drink and Alexis held it in her hand... not wanting it to leave her sight due to sketch people around them.

Kevala turned to the bartender and would nod as Alexis ordered her drink. Sounded good to her.
"Same."
It was then that Lex pulled out the tin and offered up something Kev recognized all too well. Her mind running over the possibility of her getting a bit too fucked up for her own good. But then she had started drinking again, and smoking, so why the hell not. E was just another thing to add to the list of stuff that kept her mind off Gabriel. It was amazing really how both girls were out to achieve the same goal.
Damn that man!
Taking one Kev would pop one into her mouth. Smiling once more as the bartender arrived with their drinks. Soon enough she would take a drink and close her eyes.
Yes, this was most likely not going to end well, but she honestly did not care. She was out to try and make friends with Alexis and she was out to drown the pain.
Something that soon enough would be achieved......thanks to the drinks and the miracle of the little pills in the tin.
"Thanks for this.....It is really just what I needed."
She was so stressed lately it was not even funny. But this was going to help, if only for a little while. But that was better than nothing she supposed.

The girl ordered the same drink and even popped one of the pills. Alexis felt like a role model. A bad one. She chucked her drink, waiting patiently for the drug to kick in, and getting shit faced while doing so. She ordered yet another drink and downed that. Yep.. she was wiping herself clear from the world tonight and she was welcoming it with open arms. Now she was getting slightly buzzed... due to the fact she was ordering doubles.. Her mind starting getting a little more fuzzy and everything was becoming more trippy. She took Kev's hand and dragged her to the dance floor now. Every bass sounding boom that pulsed, Alexis could feel ten times more. Everyone who came in contact with her..dancing and rubbing against her... she could feel ten times more as well. She was right fucked up. The lights flashed and the music pounded and Alexis started dancing! A guy came up from behind her and started feeling her up while they danced. Alexis pulled Kevala closer to her making a little Alexis sandwich. E+Physical contact=HAWT! A guy would come up from behind Kev as well..now making a girl sandwich. One arm would reach up and around to the back of the guys head as the other arm rested on Kev's hip. She was small compared to all four of them, but she made due! |

Kev eventually switched to just plain and simple shots of tequila...that was enough for her to get sufficiently shit faced. Not to mention now everything was all that much more....out there....heh....Every touch upon her skin was magnified times 1000 an she was for once not feeling no pain...which was a pleasant and nice feeling.
Then her hand was grabbed, Lex dragging her to the dance floor..Not that she minded, soon enough her hips were shifting and moving along with the music, being pulled closer to Lex and shivering softly. Loving of course the feel of the contact made between their body. Mostly due to the drug, and thankfully Kev had the right frame of mind to remind herself that Lex was NOT into girls like Kev was......
Then there was a guy behind her, one behind Lex and the whole thing just one big warm fuzzy feeling...Her own hand would come out, resting upon Alexis' hip as her other arms bent back to grip the guy behind her by his jeans on his hip. Letting her head fall back and brush against his chest.
Yep, she was feeling good...and honestly it was a nice feeling....VERY NICE

Alexis was enjoying this way too much. All the physical contact was driving her mad...whether it was a girl or not she couldn't help but have this feeling. She tilted her head up, and pulled the stranger's head down close to hers. She started kiss him while she danced, swaying her hips up against Kev's hips. The man eventually trailed kisses down to her neck and Alexis bit her lip to the heightened feelings that shrilled over her body. And yeah she wanted more. So... as mystery man sucked on her neck, Alexis' hand slid up the girl's side and to the nape of her neck.
Now don't get me wrong, Alexis liked men and nothing else... but keep in mind every girl has kissed a girl at least once! And when you are on E you truly don't give a shit... She pulled Kev's face close and started kissing her... Now she had two people kissing Alexis and it was driving her nuts. Some people stopped and turned to see the small raven hair girl get it on with both a guy and a girl in the middle of a dance floor, but she paid no attention to it.
She just kept dancing...and kissing...
YAY EX?
