The tides seemed to turn as Kevala reversed it so she was the one answering the questions. It almost seemed obvious that she was looking out for her, but she didn't want to seem full of herself. Allegra smiled and closed her eyes for a moment, trying to think of where she lived... What was it like.. The school.. It's not that she was fabricating things, she just needed to think about them.... Just a little.
"The apartment I live in... It's nice.. Albeit a little expensive, surely it'll be easier once I can find a job here."
There was no moment that Allegra wasn't thankful for all the money saved from jobs she held in the past under the table. They were what helped her move away from all those that hated her..
"This school has been really nice actually. Although, this is my first day!" The girl laughed a little, implying that she didn't know enough about the school to make a balanced answer, since she really hadn't spent much time in the school.
Smile. Smile.

Kevala was unstable honestly, and to think that her sister would have to get a job and live in a little apartment drove the voices in her head insane. But the logical part of her won out and she would simply nod.
"I will have to see it sometime."
She would judge the place for herself when she had a chance and then she would know if she should jump in and take charge of the situation. She could by far afford a much nicer place for her sister to live. It would be nothing. But she understood wanting to make your own way.
So she would leave it at that for now.
"As for the school. If anything bad happens let me know. I will take care of it."
She nodded, deadly serious as she spoke this. She was not about to let her sister go through the hell she had endured in this place. It was too easy for people to mistake one for the other, it could only lead to bad things.
"For now however, how about we get going to my house. The twins should be there soon, and we can grab something to eat and chat while we wait."
She would wait of course on a reply before she got up. She did not wish to seem pushy in any way.

"Okay! It would be lovely to have you.." Spoken happily, Allegra had hidden fears. Her apartment wasn't exactly in the nicest part of town, nor was it the nicest place. Being the time of year, she could only afford that place, plus it was really the only one open and willing to accept a student with no job in town. Living on one's own was difficult.
Smile. Smile.
"I'll be sure to tell you! thank-you for looking out for me!"
Allegra smiled as they sat together, making small talk. To some it would seem to some it was boring, but to her it meant the world. Just being able to sit with her dearest sister, it was amazing. Lost in an endless line of foster homes, sadness, and loneliness.. Who would have guessed they'd ever find each other again. The world was strange.
"That sounds wonderful."
With that the dark haired girl would get up and smile at her sister. Ready to follow her anywhere.

Kevala would turn and grab her sister's hand, pulling her along behind her as she made her way to her car. It was nothing too fancy..okay so yeah....a top of the line BMW was sorta fancy, but yeah. Either way she would pull out her keys and hit the alarm to turn it off and unlock the doors.
"Come on. Get in."
She released Allegra so the girl could get into the passenger seat as she slid behind the wheel. Once they were both in and both buckled up she would smile and start the car, throwing it into reverse and then pulling out.
Soon enough they were on their way and yes, Kevala did not drive slow by any means. Only when the twins were in the car. Which was not often. Kev was paranoid to a fault and refused to take the children with her anywhere for fear of somebody trying to harm them on her account.
"So tell me. Do you still go by the last name of our Mother?"
She had to ask, since up until recently it was the only last name they had known. But Kevala knew the truth now and that ate away at her. Should she tell her sister the truth or keep it hidden?
It would not really matter in the end when Allegra saw some of her art and such, since it all had Kevala Katashi written on it.

Lead to a car by her sister, it felt like old days again. Wandering around and being ferried to safety by Kevala. She was such a darling, always protecting her. It hurt Allegra in some ways to remember all the trouble that she had put her sister through. Her smile remained upon getting into the passenger side of the car. Noting that it seemed Kevala was living somewhat of a privileged life? Although, she'd never make a full assumption, since there is always more than what is seen.
Driving fast.
Sharp turns.
IT WAS SCARY IN A CAR WITH SISTER DEAR.
That was for sure.
The last name.... It followed her always, leaving from time to time, only to return with every family that rejected her. When she became to old for the orphanage to want, it came back. As much as she wished to throw it aside, to never use it again. She'd always succumb to its will. Making her an Astaku again..and again. A bit of bitterness towards those whom were once family. Their actions, words, and emotions.... It was never nice to remember the past. But there were times when it consumed her. Yet, there were also moments where she'd forget, where she could think and smile freely. It was nice.
"Yes, I do. What about you?"
Allegra was curious about it. She was actually curious about a lot.
Where did Kevala live, who was the father, what was the last name she used, and what had brought her to Long Beach. So many questions. Perhaps more, but her focus was on the streets. Watching where they drove, the streets they passed, and all the landmarks. Memorizing the way so she could visit her sister.
Smile. Smile.
[[OOC: Sorry for the wait, I don't know what happened~ XD;; I suddenly didn't feel like posting the other day~<3]]

Inwardly she winced at the question she knew was coming. Honestly it would be best to keep the information from her sister, but she could not do such a thing for long short of going back to their mother's name. And honestly she had made too much of a name for herself with the last name Katashi.
"I go by the name Katashi now."
She took another turn, this time turning onto a residential street lined with very nice houses, obviously for those with more money than they could handle. But still Gabriel's home was a bit further off.
"It is the name of our Father."
She would speak this with just the slightest bit of contempt in her tone. Drawing in a deep breath as she brushed her tongue over her lips.
"I found out through our brother......who he was....and who our family ties are."
She nodded, her small hands gripping the steering wheel a bit tighter as she thought over the family that had tried to kill her. Thinking of how they had almost succeeded had it not been for Gabriel. Another thing for which she owed him.

K-katashi....
Allegra ignored it outwardly, although dwelled on it inside. Not making ti obvious, she thought about her father.. Of course, she never really held memories of the man, since their time together was short.. Or never happened. She couldn't recall. It didn't really matter. What had happened in the past was all done with and over, there was nothing more to do with it.. but look past it in search of the future.
Icy blue eyes looked upon the houses, making note of where they were going.. Yet also noticing that they all looked so well off. Everything seemed perfect and oh so expensive. It seemed that Kevala was privileged... A nice car, a family, and living in a decent area. Could she be happy? Of course, Allegra knew to look far beyond the surface, to seek the dark secrets that lingered beneath the light. Her smile remained... Trying to keep her mind from sinking any further.
"We had a brother?"
Allegra was a tad bit confused there.
But of course she didn't stick to the question. Quickly changing the subject, the dark haired girl would ask another. "What is your new home like!? The family you have, is it complete?"
Hurtful questions to ask, had she known everything; but she didn't. To her, they were harmless, yet hurtful... Perhaps it was her way of prying into the life of her dearest twin.

Kev continued on past the rich looking mansions and out past the rest of the homes, until all that was in view was a large estate...Very expansive and very beautiful. Elegant and very old.......Gabriel's home.
"Yes, we had a brother. Katsuri...but he is gone now."
She did not dwell on the matter and instead pulled into the drive, stopping only to let the security guards see it was her, with a wave and a smile. She did so love charming them.
But then, just like that she would continue on, driving up to the house and stopping.
Those questions stung...they truly did. But she tried not to show it. Before she turned off the car she would turn to her sister and smile, a bit forced but a smile none the less.
"I am currently living with a friend....Though truly he is more like a brother, my best friend......"
She knew her face had lit up, it always did when she spoke of Gabriel. So hard to hide the love she felt for the man, but she did none the less.
"Gabriel Seran. Until I can buy my own home. But if my family is complete.....I would say so...I have you now, and my children. What more do I need?"
She nodded and smiled before turning off the car and getting out...She would wait for Allegra to do the same and then head to the front door, unlocking it and stepping inside.
As far as she knew Gabriel was not home, so this would not be awkward......Once they were both inside she would shut the door and then make her way into the living room.....
"Take a seat. I will get us something to drink."
