"Of you? Plenty. From you? Your actions speak louder than your false words, Gabriel." Drea's expression was not unlike stone. Hours of dealing with the fanciful people of her parents' world had taught her to hide her expressions, wants, and sometimes her needs.
She shared Emily's face - as twins, they looked the same, indistinguishable but to Emily's closest friends. And likely, her closest enemies.
At his questions, Drea felt her fury growing beneath the calm face she presented. "Hurt a friend?" she almost growled. "You mean like Kevala? After what you did to her, you dare to say something like that to me?" She'd seen the results of his behavior first hand, and though she'd asked Kevala to be careful, he'd still hurt her. And she couldn't blame Kevala for thinking she was in love... No, it was Gabriel that had caused her friend pain.
She scowled at him. "I can't possibly hurt my first friend more than you did. As far as hurting someone, I'm sure I have even if I'm not aware of it. I have never once planned to hurt a person though I have most certainly entertained thoughts of doing so." Her eyes flashed darkly.
At his apology, though, she froze. She had no intention of conceding anything to him and she'd already said what she thought of him. "Don't apologize for something you're not sorry for." She frowned at him and reminded, "Actions speak louder than words."
When he asked her where she stood, her softening demeanor hardened once more, her grip tightening on her fan. "I serve the purpose I deem to be mine," she said, voice not unlike ice. "Besides, we both know you don't care - and I have no intention of giving you anything to use against me."
She might not be coated in sin and cruelty and all the dangers that had sullied those around her, but nor was she careless. She had no wish to fall to what her sister had fallen to, though she'd happily fall in her place.
[Sorry this took me so long. X___x I've been shoveling and doing homework nonstop for the past two weeks. Gah. Stupid snow.]
