"...? What is it... Mitsu...?"
She sighed softly as she gathered up the courage to tell him the truth. She had to wonder grimly when Kazuya shifted his arm so he could hold her hand if he would still be willing to do that after she told him what she needed to say. How could she even say it?
"I have a split personality disorder." she began not knowing any other way to say it. "I developed it some time after coming to 259 and this persona..." she gave another sigh before continuing. "She seeks to destroy everyone around me. At one point she even tied down and tortured my best friend, she would have been killed had her boyfriend didn't come to save her." Mitsukai still felt terrible about that even after Kevala forgave her. Even if that girl could move on from it Mitsukai couldn't, she could never forgive herself for allowing it to happen. "I had been struggling with the other persona for awhile now, and I thought I finally gained some control over it but..." She stopped for a moment, trying to keep control over her emotions as she tried to figure out what she was going to say next.
"I don't know how long its been but one night Gabriel summoned me for a mission...The next thing I remember was-" she shook slightly again recalling what had happened that night before she blanked out. "He was torturing and I got scared and my alter ego took over." Tears were starting to well up in her eyes. "I don't remember anything after that. The next thing I knew is I woke up here with an axe in my hands." The rest of her memories were just to distorted and confusing to even know where to begin to describe it. To even think about what might have happened while Nami was in control was simply too much to take all at once.

"You have an alter ego too?" Just like her... Kazuya exclaimed, his eyes flashing in surprise, his hand still holding her hand, despite the fact he was surprised to learn this, he seemed to unconsciously refuse to let go. His eyes After this fact started to slowly sink in, Kazuya's eyes relaxed, turning back to calm, as he looked out the window, before turning back to face Mitsukai, his eyes softening slightly. "This doesn't change what I think of you," He said simply, breaking the silence, as he squeezed her hand slightly, "You're still the same Mitsu I met back then, and you always will be." Kazuya felt Mitsukai shake slightly, as he could see tears start to well up in her eyes. "Don't cry Mitsu... It'll be alright..." He said quietly, as he reached up with his left hand and gently wiped her tears away, as he held his left hand comfortingly against her cheek.
Her alter ego had come into my room with an axe... to try and kill me while I was unconscious and recovering from my wounds... while I was unable to do anything or even fight back. She had wanted to kill Kazuya, because he had grown close to Mitsukai. Kazuya had experience with alter ego's before, Gabriel's alter ego had been the one that stabbed Kazuya, and Emily had an alter ego back at Public High School #42. Mitsu... Kazuya gently held her arm and gently tugged her down, letting her lie on his bed beside him, as he wrapped his left arm comfortingly around her. It didn't matter to him that she had an alter ego, to him, she was still the same Mitsukai he had met and sparred against back then. He wasn't going to turn away from her, because he simply cared too much and too deeply about her, to reject her. "It'll be alright Mitsu... It'll be alright..."

"You have an alter ego too?"
All she could do was nod. She hated having to talk about this but in the end it was not something that she could hide anymore. She shouldn’t hide it if it meant someone she was close to was going to die all because they didn’t know about it. If he knew about it before maybe something could have been done to prevent Nami from sneaking up into his room. She wasn’t sure how but something could have been done. Maybe Adrian would not have been hurt either if I had just told him. She thought in despair as she thought back to another brief memory before she woke up in the hospital. Though all she could remember was hearing Adrian’s voice before she lost control a second time if Nami really had been in control of her body by then there was no question that he had been hurt by the psychopath in her head. He could be laying dead somewhere all because she lost control.
"This doesn't change what I think of you," he said, squeezing her hand gently as he spoke. "You're still the same Mitsu I met back then, and you always will be." "Don't cry Mitsu... It'll be alright..." She felt his hand gently wipe away her tears and rest on her cheek trying to comfort her as his words set in. She wasn’t sure if she was really the same girl that she had been before, not now. Not when she was capable of so much damage because of something within her that she could not control. Nami was a part of her, she wasn’t sure what that part was it was still a part of her. Maybe some part of herself was a monster, that only wanted to destroy-
Don’t you dare think that! Your not Nami! You never asked for this! Mitsukai didn’t want to harm the people she was close to. She didn’t want to kill Adrian, Kevala, or anyone else that her alter ego had harmed when she was set free. She only started to make friends for the first time in her life, why would she want to harm them?
Kazuya brought her down to lay next to him in the bed as she wept softly in his grasp for what seemed like an hour before she slowly drifted to sleep from exhaustion.

Maybe it was true that Mitsukai wasn't the same person that Kazuya met back then, but it didn't matter to him if she had an alter ego or not, he still cared about her all the same. "... You're you, and your alter ego is your alter ego. You two may share the same body, but you have a different identity. You're not like your alter ego. You're my friend... Mitsu..." Kazuya said quietly, mainly so that he wouldn't end up hurting himself accidentally, and also to try and calm Mitsukai as much as he possibly could. He held her in his arms and gently pulled her down to lie down beside him, as she wept softly, her tears starting to soak his sheets, but he didn't care about that. Holding her as best as he could with his injured left arm, Kazuya stayed up with her until she slowly drifted into sleep from exhaustion, by which time, her sobs had quietly stopped.
Kazuya continued to lay where he was, as he felt Mitsukai's head resting on his chest while he watched the rain fall outside his window, as the sky slowly darkened, before long, night had fallen. The sound of the door opening caused Kazuya to look away from the window, as the nurse came in to change his bandages. Gently shifting Mitsukai over and laying her head on his pillow, Kazuya sat up in his bed, as the nurse came over, a few minutes later, clean bandages wrapped on his arms and upper body, Kazuya requested for a wheelchair, as the nurse nodded and left his room, coming back in a few minutes later with a wheelchair. Helping Kazuya into it, the nurse left, as Kazuya wheeled over to the window with his left arm, as he sat in front of the window, looking down at the city lights, letting Mitsukai sleep. ... Mitsu...
