Geh. It's happened. Life's come along, kicked me in the ass, and has demanded that I GTFO in the real world. A lot of the people I usually talk to via MSN will notice that I haven't been online in a while. This is a mixture of snowfall - and shoveling nonstop for painful, painful hours -, homework, and life. And it hasn't just been in the past couple of weeks.
My activity's been teetering for a while before then because of midterms, and even before then. Somewhere along the way, I began to think "It's okay to look at 259 later because I have more important things to do right now."
And it's true that the real world will always come first to me. I guess I never really acknowledged just how much work I have to do since my Dad headed overseas for his deployment. As it is, my Mom's getting ready for surgery, and my Grandmother's getting over bronchitis. As it is, I can't leave either of them be and I've got to take care of my own business as well, more so because it's my last year of high school.
Thank you so much for letting me enjoy myself while I was here and giving me a respite and haven from the real world.
Thanks to Katsuri whose not here anymore, but helped Drea to assimilate in 259. Even if you're not reading this, I think everyone should know that you pretty much made sure I was familiar with everything that I needed to be familiar with and humored my requests when I nervously asked you to check over posts that I'd made, or even sections of my profile.
Thanks to Kevala who was Drea's first real friend at 259. She let Drea partake in the drama of her life and gave her the first real taste of what a friend could be as opposed to the falsities of her higher-class peers. Kevala even let Drea go along with her to the doctors. I feel that you were a really important part of Drea's development, especially because this is when I first really started to try to bring Drea to life.
Thanks to Mitsukai who let me learn to roleplay fights alongside her. This is where I roleplayed fights for the first time. Even at HVN with Harumi and Trizen and Hiaki, I never really roleplayed fighting. My charcter was more the passive type who backed off and let the others fight - because I'd never roleplayed it before. So thanks - I feel like I got to grow in an amazing way alongside Drea because of those spars.
Thanks to Kazuya for giving Drea a reason to be protective and to understand that while not everyone is good, not everyone is bad, either. The conversation he had with Drea when the first really tried to get to know each other was enlightening to her and she couldn't help but think about it later, even if she wanted to believe that he was wrong for choosing someone other than her sister when faced with the question. It was really good for teaching her about the fact that nothing's purely white or black.
Thanks to David for supporting and then abhorring Drea. To be quite honest, you gave her the first real opportunity she's ever had to stand up for herself and for what she's believed in. Since she's always only ever been passive and broken, it's really a milestone in her character growth and one that I'll always be grateful for.
Thanks to Gabriel for letting Drea seriously hate your guts. No joke - you and Unfettered are the first people she's ever really hated, but you're the only one that gave her the chance to face it. I promise I'll finish up that thread before I go.
Thanks to Gilgamesh for reasons that are totally irrelevant to the roleplay. Look after a certain someone for me, ne?
Thanks to Cody for letting Drea teach. It was fun, ne? I'll see you on MSN. <33 Hopefully. -sweatdrop-
Finally, thanks to Emily. Mika. Harumi. xD If you hadn't shown me 42 and 259, I'd have probably despaired of finding a good roleplay for the longest time. And thanks so much for letting me play your twin sister. You're basically the reason Drea even came into being - and by extension, the reason I got to enjoy all these wonderful experiences. Obviously, we'll definitely be keeping up with each other via MSN. You're the sister I don't have, ne? ^^
Thanks to everyone that I've come into contact with here and at 42 - I've really had a good time of it, and while I may come back, I also might not. Thank you so much for the great memories. And the drama. -nods- Can't forget the drama. xDD
I'll probably be finishing up that thread with Gabriel before I leave, but I may, in the future, come back. I hope, anyways.
Thanks again, all!
