((OOC: This thread takes place shortly after this one= Oops... This is also an invite only thread unless your given my permission DO NOT ENTER!)) Today was the last time she would ever see this place again. A part of her would miss this place. It had been her home for a few months now and she had grown accustom to this place. But she couldn't stay here forever, since Ryu stopped coming home the place felt barren and empty. The silence was deafening and she couldn't take it anymore. Some part of her still wanted to wait for him, wait for him to return so she wouldn't feel so alone anymore but in the end she was better off leaving. She didn't know why Ryu had not returned and sitting around waiting for a man who might never show his face again she just couldn't do. Not anymore, it had been painful enough waiting for Katsuri to show up again. Mitsukai did not want to go through this again. At least this time she had somewhere else to go. It was funny how lately she seemed to find new people that wanted to have her with them. Especially in this case. That day in school as she was trying to rush to the library she never had expected to meet someone new, to spar with him, and then by a bizarre twist of events end up in his apartment and offered a permanent place to stay. As strange as that sounded nothing bad had happened between them. Yes there was some really awkward moments that occurred that day but there was nothing going on between them. Well....at least from her point of view. If there really was something going on she most likely would figure that out. As she opened the door and entered the mansion she was instantly greeted by her small furry bundle of joy. She smiled down at the small kitten. It had only been a day but she missed little Ammani to pieces, she was just glad that she wouldn't have to do something like that again. "Hey there girl." She cooed, scooping up the little feline in her arm. Ammani purred loudly and sniffed curiously at the bandage on her left wrist. "Hey careful with that! Don't start playing with that, I don't need to redo the bandages again." she warned. when the kitten started pawing at it, Ammani stopped immediately getting a chuckle from her owner. Some times it really did seem like the cat understood human language, or at least she understood her master. "Hey you wanna meet my new friend?" the kitten meowed in reply and that was a good enough answer for her. "Kazu you can come in now!" she called from inside, waiting by the door for him to come in. Yes she brought Kazuya with her, she might have only a few things but it was too much for her to carry by herself, especially since it was a long walk back to his place. But for privacy issues she asked him not to reveal this location to anyone else. Ryu was a bit of a private man and if he did come back someday he wouldn't be pleased to see anyone that shouldn't be there in the house. She could at least trust Kazu to keep his word, it was the one of the few reasons she chose to bring him here. "Kazu, this is Ammani." she said, holding the kitten out for him to see. "Ammani this is my new friend Kazu, say hi." the feline meowed at the man, eyeing him curiously as he entered the house. "Can you hold onto her for a second I am going to run upstairs and get packed, and if she runs off now it will take forever to find her."

A foot appeared on the threshold on the door, as Kazuya stepped into the mansion, looking around at the interior in mild curiosity, after looking around at the outside while he waited for Mitsukai to invite him in, he wasn't going to just waltz into someone's house without being invited, even if he was just here to help Mitsukai move to his apartment. His hands in the pockets of his zipped up jacket, he had deposited Kuro inside his jacket, Kuro had stuck his head and front paws out through the opening of Kazuya's jacket. He had to admit, it was a nice mansion, reminded him a lot of David's mansion, not just in size, but also because both were about as devoid of people as it could get. Kazuya had barely even taken two steps into the house before halting immediately as Mitsukai held out her kitten, Ammani, for him to see.
"Nice to meet you Ammani, this is my friend, Kuro." Kazuya replied, as he pointed down at Kuro's head, who mewed at Ammani and pawed curiously at her, as Kazuya chuckled, his hands inside his pockets keeping Kuro supported and assuring the little guy didn't fall out through the bottom of Kazuya's jacket. "Hm?" Kazuya murmured, as he looked up at Mitsukai. "Oh, sure, no problem." He pulled out one hand from his pockets and took Ammani from Mitsukai, as he deposited the kitten inside his jacket beside Kuro, as he continued to paw curiously at her while Kazuya watched in amusement. He walked further into the house, at least he managed to get past the threshold, and looked around the house, before taking a seat on the couch, the two kittens in his jacket pawing playfully at each other, as he waited for Mitsukai to finish.

She smiled when Kazuya took the two kittens into his jacket for them to play with each other. It was nice of him to bring the little guy along for this, it looked like the two felines would get along well together. This whole arrangement might be good for everyone in general.
With the issue of keeping Ammani in one place while she was getting set was over and done with Mitsukai made her way upstairs into her room. Wanting to get this over and done with as fast as possible. They had a fair ways to walk with all the stuff she had to take and it was better to get ready to go as soon as they could.
Stepping inside of her bedroom Mitsukai got started, pulling some gym bags out of her closet and started packing. Thankfully there wasn't too much for her to take. Mostly just clothes, her school things, and some books that she bought the day she had met Unfettered. She never was the kind that liked material goods, almost everything she owned was simply necessities, things she needed not things she wanted (save for the books of course <.<). It didn't take too long to pack up all of her stuff. Her clothing was neatly tucked away in the bags, her books and school stuff she put in her school bag. Now she had to grab Ammani's things. There wasn't much that needed to be packed up. There wasn't very much stuff for the kitten, only a few toys but the biggest thing she had was the carrier cage. She had been planning to carry Ammani with them in this thing, it was big enough for two kittens to fit inside. That would be good news for Kazuya, at least he wouldn't have to be holding onto the pair on the trip back. She finished up her task, putting all of the things she was taking next to the door entrance.
"That should do it." She said, satisfied with how fast she was able to get ready. Now there was only one thing left to do.....she had to write a note for Ryu.....
It didn't make any sense to her to just leave without saying a word. Even if he had done that with her she couldn't be sure if he had done so intentionally. And if he did ever return she didn't want him to wonder where she was. Going through her school bag one last time Mitsukai pulled out a notebook and a pencil. Pondering about what to write, it was hard to figure out what exactly to say...it would have been better to just speak to the man herself if only she could....
How hard can it be to just write I am leaving your sorry ass? Nami piped up, becoming rather annoyed with Mitsukai's hesitation. Hell the son of a bitch didn't even tell you he was going to leave so fuck him and tell him off!
We don't know why he did it Nami, there is no need to go that far.
Just like how we don't know why Katsuri decided to leave the day Kevala was delivering his little brats? she retorted. Face it this bastard left because he doesn't want to be around you anymore and he didn't have the guts to tell you that to your face. Fuck him don't even bother with this shit and get moving you don't have all day here.
Mitsukai growled in annoyance. It hurt to hear Nami compare Ryu with Katsuri. Katsuri had abandoned everyone because he could stand being a father but Ryu, Ryu wasn't like that right? She couldn't exactly deny that she had wondered if she had done something to make him leave her but that couldn't be the truth....
She shook her head to get rid of those negative thoughts. Fuck it she couldn't keep dwelling on something like this. Like with Katsuri she had to move on, it was the only thing she could do. Focusing on the past too much would only destroy a person in the end. Now she had somewhere else to go so she had to focus on that.
She set the pencil down and looked over the message. She wasn't the best at saying goodbye, not like this but it was the most she could do. She tore the page out of the note and left for Ryu's room, silently stepping inside to place the not on his night table before leaving. Re-packing the notebook she slung her backpack over her shoulders and picked up the bags, even managing to lift up the cage so she wouldn't have to make two trips.
"I'm done packing." She yelled as she started the long journey down the stairs so that Kazuya could hear her. She had to be careful as she made her way down. With such a burden she was carrying it was pretty easy to fall.

Kazuya, while waiting for Mitsukai to finish, had rested his elbow on the armrest of the couch, and cradled his cheek in the palm of his hand, while scratching Kuro's head and watching him and Ammani paw playfully and mew at each other, the two of them had immediately warmed up to each other, it was like they had always been together, instead of just meeting each other for the first time. Kazuya lifted his head up when he heard Mitsukai call, and leaped off the couch as he ran up the staircase when he saw how much luggage Mitsukai was carrying, Kuro and Ammani holding onto the top of his jacket for dear life. "You sure you got enough bags there Mitsu?" Kazuya asked, a bit of his sarcastic streak seeping through, as he took one of her bags and the carrier cage from her, his hands touching hers as he did so.
"..." He managed to keep his blush down as he quickly headed down the stairs, and placed the carrier cage down on the floor. "Sorry Kuro-chan, you'll have to travel in there, instead of inside my jacket." Kazuya said to the little guy, as Kuro looked up and mewed back at him. "But at least you'll have company." Kazuya added, as he lifted Kuro out of his jacket, and gently placed him in the cage, he then lifted Ammani out of his jacket, and placed her in with Kuro. "Play nice Kuro, and don't do anything that'll have me ending up with a Kuro Jr... or two... or three..." Kazuya heard Kuro mew at him, as Kazuya chuckled before closing the cage door, and locking it securely. He then picked it up, and hoisted the bag up in his other hand. "... You ready...?"

Mitsukai hadn't expected that Kazuya would react as fast as he did when she called. Sure she had a lot of stuff to carry but it didn't mean he had to literally run upstairs to help her. It was a bit of a challenge to take this stuff down the stairs on her own but it was not impossible.
"You sure you got enough bags there Mitsu?"
He said sarcastically making her roll her eyes in turn. "Its not that bad." She said. "Its better then making three trips bringing this stuff down." Mitsukai was very aware of Kazuya's touch when his hand brushed up against her as he helped to lighten the load. She had to keep herself from blushing from the awkwardness. The events from last night was still fresh in her mind so it was hard to not be aware of the little things. She had to try and ignore stuff like that or it would only get worse.
She chuckled hearing him warn Kuro about getting too friendly with Ammani. "I don't think we have to worry about having mini Kuro's and Ammani's running around till later." For now they were safe, the kittens were far too young to start breeding. It was once they started to mature that they needed to worry. Maybe it was time for Mitsukai to get her kitten spade. As much as Mitsukai loved cats having too much without providing adequate shelter and food could be troublesome. It would also be hard on Ammani's body if she became pregnant too often, she would have to save up later to pay for the surgery.
"... You ready...?"
"Yeah lets go." she answered as she followed him down the stairs and made their way out the door. Once both of them were outside she locked the door. For a moment she held the key in her hand, debating what she should do with it. In the end she pocketed the key. She wasn't going to risk leaving it laying around for someone else to find and use to get inside. She might not need it right now but it could come in handy one day. She turned to Kazuya again once she was done. "Looks like we are all set, are you ready for the long walk back?"

"Oh but of course, my sincere apologies, Your Highness." Kazuya replied back as he bowed to her teasingly, before straightening up and taking two bags from her, as he fought very hard to keep the blush from appearing on his face and quickly turned around and headed back down the stairs, before depositing both kittens inside the carrier cage. "Yeah. And my apartment isn't big enough for half a dozen Kuro Jr.'s running around." Kazuya then hoisted the cage and bag up, and headed out the door, as he waited for Mitsukai to lock the door. He saw her stare at the key in her hand after locking up, and placed the cage down, before walking up to her, and reached up, gently curling her fingers over the key. "Keep it." He said simply, not just because out of practicality, but because painful or not, the key held memories for her.
He then picked up the cage once more, before turning to her. "Yeah... Let's go." Kazuya then led the way down the driveway, and then headed down the sidewalk, but stopped when he didn't hear any footsteps behind him, and turned around, as he waited for Mitsukai. "... Mitsu." Once she had caught up, he made his way through the high end neighborhood in Long Beach. He could've bought a place here, but he honestly didn't see the point in doing so. The house he and Kyoko had lived in back at San Francisco, while not as big as David's mansion, or even Ryu's place, was still pretty big in itself, considering it had a swimming pool AND a dojo located in the backyard. Though he had to admit, the view of the ocean from here was pretty nice. His apartment did have a good view of the ocean too, but it wasn't as clear as from here. "... I have to admit... the ocean view is pretty nice here..."

Kazuya watched her silently while she was debating what to do with the key. Putting his load down he came up to her, gently curling her fingers over the key making her blush a little over the sudden contact. "Keep it." He said, helping her to make up her mind before going back to pick up his burden. He was right it was better to keep the key for the time being. She didn’t want to risk someone finding it and using it to get inside. Besides it might come in handy sometime later, it was best to keep it. She shoved the key in her pocket, picking up her things and asked if he was ready to go.
"Yeah... Let's go." he replied and walked off. "... Mitsu." He called after her when he noticed she was not following. Mitsukai had to mentally shake herself back into the present. She hadn’t realized that her mind had wandered a bit as she stood there. “Coming.” She said, coming to walk beside him as they left the property. She couldn’t help but think about how much she was going to miss this place once she left. Not because she liked the property itself, it had some quirks to it but Mitsukai was not that big of a fan over big places the reason was because she would miss Ryu. But in the end this was for the better, no matter how long she waited for him he might never show his face again and the worry would just eat away at her.
"... I have to admit... the ocean view is pretty nice here..."
“Yeah it is isn’t it?” she replied. Mitsukai was not a big fan of oceans, lakes, or any kind of large bodies of water. Mainly because she didn’t like to swim but that never stopped her from admiring the beauty of the scenery. She enjoyed the view from afar of the ocean. One day she might just go over there and see it up close so long as she didn’t have to swim in it.

Kazuya chuckled quietly at Mitsukai's expression as she stared off a little, it seemed her mind had wandered a bit, not that he could blame her, this mansion had been her home before he met her, she would have undoubtedly memories of it, and more than likely, would miss not the house itself, but her roommate. The two of them walked side by side not in awkward silence, but more like comfortable silence. Kazuya then stopped and took in the ocean view, as he saw the sun begin to dip below the horizon. He heard Kuro mew from inside the cage, as he lifted the cage up, so that both kittens could see the view as well. Kazuya, while he did like swimming, he only liked to view the ocean, not actually swim in it.
Same went for lakes or any big body of water for that matter, swimming pools was the only place he swam at. After taking a couple more minutes looking at the scenery, Kazuya looked at Mitsukai and gestured with his head in the general direction his apartment was located. He then turned and began walking down the sidewalk once again, as he faintly heard Kuro and Ammani mew happily inside the cage, making him chuckle quietly, it sounded like the little guy was having fun playing with his new found friend and companion. "Sounds like the two of them are having fun playing with each other already."
