Wham! Another fool down. Jyo couldn't help but notice the violence at the school had been on the rise again. Luckily it wasn't gang related at this time. Just a bunch of punks. But it was getting out of hand. The absence of any real action of the pillars seemed to be making people think they would get away with about anything. There wasn't enough staff to handle everything and teach the classes as well. The S.C.H.P was still small at the moment and didn't command the same amount of respect as the pillars so while active they couldn't quell the uprising.
Which was why Jyo was here surrounded by five students all seniors this time who seemed to be the only ones who felt like challengeing him out of the mainstrem students. Six were already down on the ground. "Stop this. it's utterly pointless. You know you won't beat me and you have no real goals or reasons for trying." He said lashing out in a hook kick with his left leg as another came in and his right arm shot out after that nailing the other punk who came in and the attacks had sent them both flying back. "Go away." Jyo said coldly as his eye began to glow. He didn't need his Qi but he found the majority of the students didn't often see a guy with glowing eyes and the fact it also enhanced the piercing quality ofthem which people would normally flinch under. The trick did it's job and they ran off scared. "Morons."Jyo said letting the glow fade and sighed.
He walked out of the hallway and to the courtyard really wishing he had decided to stay in the background. But he knew that wasn't possible. Despite what he wanted his instincts were to defend the school he was at. He figured once a captain always a captain. Not in title but in spirit. He wasn't treated with the respect he had at his old school where he could step in and simply tell them to stop and they would listen then scatter. This place wasn't as dark or corrupted as #499. Not even close and Jyo was doing what he could to keep it that way. but the violence was just as bad here.
Jyo had made his way to the tree he normally would jump up and sit in. But he didn't feel like hopping up into the tree on his normal branch which very few people got into considering they knew Jyo liked the spot. Instead he had sat down at the base od the tree and leaned against the trunk closing his eyes deep in thought.

What is with the rising violence? I left to get away from the violence...
Those were the thoughts that drifted through Keith's mind. He had to keep thinking that he was Keith and that he was a different person. But it was pretty hard trying to start a new life as a new person. Keith had put so much hard work to remain under the radar. It somewhat succeeded. Asides from that person trying to assault him.
Of all the fucked up things Keith had seen in his life, that one pretty much took the fucking cake. He couldn't imagine RoB, Collosai, Nocturne, nor the Horsemen topping that. They couldn't top that at all. And Keith meant it in a bad way. Hell, that would even make the members of Equilibrium want to vomit. He hoped that he would fight that one person for awhile. The thought of that event made Keith want to gag and vomit?
What kinda guy drinks his own jizz? The mere thought make Keith get very queezy. Keith had found himself in the courtyard wanting to get some fresh air. He needed it. Keith should know that what he saw would top all those things. He's was in a gang. In a sense, he's still in a gang. For the moment, Keith had cut off all communications.
He thought about sending a letter. But that's up for debate. Keith had found himself in the courtyard. It was pretty nice outside to walk around. And that was what he planned to do.

Jyo had opened his eyes noticing the student he had been near when he had watched Aureus and Jacob fight each other. To Jyo's trained eye the guy stuck out like a sore thumb here. He knew the look of a person unlike most students and he also knew the look of a person not from the school originally.
"Pardon me." He said as Keith passed him and he stood up. "I can't help but notice you aren't from thsi school. Not originally. I would guess you were from either #499 or #552 which seem to be the only schools transferes are coming from. And I knew anyone at #499 who would be around your age right now so it's more likely you are from #552. Am I correct?' He said. Jyo wanted to know about the school #552 he had heard about. The one person from that school he had talked to for any length wasn't very forthcoming when they spoke.

"Pardon me."
Keith had stopped his pacing and turned towards the person that seemed to be meditating at the base of the tree. It was the same person that Keith saw when witnessing the fight between that one student and the pillar known as Aureus. The person stood up to address Keith. Keith adjusted his shades a bit.
"I can't help but notice you aren't from thsi school. Not originally. I would guess you were from either #499 or #552 which seem to be the only schools transferes are coming from. And I knew anyone at #499 who would be around your age right now so it's more likely you are from #552. Am I correct?'
Keith nodded. He had already met a person by the name of Kasumi who had transferred from #499. But she didn't want to talk about the school. If the school was just as violent as #552, Keith couldn't blame her one bit. Keith wasn't surprised that they figured that he was a #552 transfer.
He might as well just let it out. However, that would be all Keith would reveal. Anything else would just be revealing his past. He didn't want to reveal his past yet.
Keith politely nodded.
"Yes, I transferred from 552 in New York City," Keith answered. "Are you a regular or a transfer?"

"I see. I'm glad my intuition still seves me well." Jyo said. "I too have come from another school. #499. I need to ask a few questions as I'm trying to understand how the school system is run across the states. It's information that can help me attain one of the goals I'm after." He said and the leaned agains the tree with his arms folded over his chest. "Of course event hough it's an unleasent subject I'll be willing to answer anything you find of interes in #499 if it holds any interest to you at all. I mostly need to know how the school was run at #552 andso on. I don't need specifics on anyone. I just would rather know if it followed the system I'm seeing here or if it was different." He said.

Another #499 student... That makes two of them... Maybe that English bloke happened to be a #499 student as well.
Keith remembered the English student he met on the rooftop of 259. Pretty peaceful encounter where the two got to look at the beautiful ocean and enjoy the nice ocean breezes. Perhaps Keith's "peaceful" new life would have to be put on hold for the time being.
He too was curious to see how the schools were run across the United States. Keith was still curious to see how 259 was run. Despite his somewhat of a short time at 552, Keith came in at just about the "right" time. So, he managed to get huge look of all the events that had transpired.
"Of course event hough it's an unleasent subject I'll be willing to answer anything you find of interes in #499 if it holds any interest to you at all. Keith nodded. He was somewhat curious about what this person's "goals" were.
"Sure. How about a simple spar first? If you want to achieve your goal, might as well see if you can pull it off," he explained. Keith himself had to get stronger and smarter as well. Perhaps he might find some goals during his stay at 259.

Jyo raised an eyebrow. He could already tell Keith wasn't going to be an easy one to go against. Then again Jyo had never been one to turn down a challenge. he gave a smile and nodded. "Very well. Let us see how our respective abilities compare. As you offered the challenge I shall allow you to attack first unless you do not wish to do so." Jyo said. he didn't change his position at all but in truth he was completly prepeared for a fight. he had long ago been taught that while a stance was useful it was never to be a factor to rely on in battle.

Keith nodded. He was the one to initiate this challenge. The senior gave a calm and casual nod. This was just a spar. Keith who spent most of his life in the martial arts and in fighting didn't go with simple stances either. Stances doesn't mean you'll win a fight.
On the contrary, stances are liability. It'll show off your fighting style. Which is extremely bad if your opponent knows your style and knows the weaknesses of every style. Always be prepared for battle. Always keep your guard up. Only way you can "sleep" is if you die. That part was just a guideline. Don't take that part literally unless your life depended on it.
He could sense this would be a very interesting and challenging fight as well. It was perfect for Keith to get back into fighting shape again. Keith didn't hesitate as he attacked with a chain combination.
He quickly shifted his body to the right in a 90 degree motion and shot out his left foot to strike with a hard side thrust kick to the abdoment. Should that connect or not, he would bring the leg back and throw another hard side thrust kick to the upperchest area and quickly shift his body to the left and throw a hard rising right knee strike to the gut/chest area. Didn't matter if the hits connected or not, he wanted to see how difficult this match was going to be.
The small chain combination was like a simple mix of Jeet Kune Do and Muay Thai.

Jyo smiled seeing the attacks com in. Keith moved quickly. Quicker than some he faced but Jyo also knew how to reat. His right arm flew down letting the attack impact on the forearm and then rose during the second kick allowing it to impact again. When Keith had tried using the kneestrike Jyo;'s right arm flew downwards with alot more force than his other blocks and his palm met the knee while his other hand flew out in a palmstrike to knock Keith away and he folded his arms again giving a smile. "Impressive." He said clearly meaning what he said. Jyo had really needed to work for those blocks and the counter. But the motions had been so basic for him and the way he read movments made it all too easy to see what he neded to do. it was simply the fact he had been hard pressed to keep up.

Keith remained calm and collected. No matter the situation in a fight, you always have to remain cool. The moment you lose your cool, your opponent has already won the match. Always remain calm and confidence in a match. The moment your opponent notices you losing it, he/she will definitely take advantage and capitalize on it.
To win a fight, you have to capitalize on your opponent's weaknesses. Seemed that his two kicks connected but his knee strike was blocked by a palm strike. But damn, that palm strike did hurt a bit. However, Keith was trained to tolerate and enjoy pain. To be a fighter, not only must one know how to dish pain, but one must know how to take pain.
That block was good...very good...
As soon as the knee strike was blocked, Keith would move his head forward to execute a fast and hard headbutt to the forehead. Should that connect or not, Keith would quickly grab his opponent's head for a clinch and bring both knees up for a hard double-knee strike which was a move used in Lethwei, the Burmese variation of Muay Thai.

OOCL If you read it correctly you'll find the head butt was a mistake
Keith had made a mistake with the head-butt. It would have worked but as stated before Jyo had sent a palmstrike with his free hand that wasn't blocking the knee. So in result Keith barely had time to move forward before getting nailed in the chest by the palmstrike Jyo had sent and the attempt to grab him would be pretty much nul and void.
Jyo walked forward and stopped a few feet away. He really should have backed off. The palmstrike couldn't have been that hard to see. I tried making it light. Oh well. mabey he'll learn from that and pay a bit more attention.Thought Jyo.

Bloody hell...
Keith staggered back and tried to keep his balance after he took the hard palm strike to the chest. Yes, that palm strike definitely hit pretty damn hard. But that's what Keith expected from this fight, to be taking a bunch of hard and extremely serious hits. That plam strike really fucking hurt.
Well it was Keith's mistake and he would have to learn from it. Keith paused a bit. Yeah, his blows were powerful. Keith would have to use every bit of his speed. For now, Keith would take a few moments to recover from that attack. At the same time, since Keith threw the first few attacks. he would see if his opponent would attack next.
Your turn...
He had to admit, that was a pretty good strike. Keith knew he would be on the receiving end of even more strikes. But to get stronger and smarter, you have to go up against strong and smart opponents. That how it went.

Jyo indeed darted in and now it was his turn. Once in his own kicking range which he had a little bit of range over Keith his right foot swung in from the side quickly to be aimed across his head. Jyo used enough force even a grab wouldn't be useful as it would tear out of Keith's grip. A block would help from the actul hit being scored but Jyo wouldn't be done with that kick. Instead once past hit attacking point his foot would swing back in a hook kick across his waist with the same force and then opnce across there it would swing back again at the ankle.
The attack was called the "S" strike which was based on attacking quickly and at different levels with all your force making grabs from somone not strong enough to match your own strength unusable and blocks to be knocked away for the most part allowing at least one hit.

Holy mother of-
The kick came at Keith pretty fast. It was already established that his opponent's hits were pretty hard as bloody fucking hell. Keith's hits were hard but this person's strikes were a bit harder so he would have to be extra careful in this fight. It was a kick aimed to hit Keith in the head.
Would Keith grab the kick? No, if the opponent's strikes are more powerful, don't try to grab their limbs so much. Instictively, Keith jumped back a few inches and move to his left side to evade the kick that was coming at him. Keith was going to fight intellgently and wisely.
Like the old knight said in the "Last Crusade". He chose poorly... That was directed to the person who drank from the wrong cup.
From there, Keith would quickly drop to the ground. While dropping to the ground, Keith would attempt to hook his opponent's free leg with one of his own feet in front of the ankle. Keith would then use the other leg to push on the back of his opponent's leg for a Drop Toe Hold.
Hopefully the technique would manage to connect and trip his opponent on the ground face first.

Fortunatly for Jyo when Keith dropped he had been swinging his leg back for the second kick and with a bit of redirection Jyo instead brought it down and the leg of the foot attempting to get his ankle. it wasn't meant to damage but instead to stop and jyo used the force of the to push off and land about ten feet away very lightly. He gave a smile. "Well your skills are worht noting. I'll give you that." He said. Not many people had the sense to back off from the attack he had started up. Most of the time they would try and block or weave a bit which never worked. backing off and forcing Jyo to change his movements was always a commendable thing.
