Basically Im just curious to see what kind of things people on the board are into to the point of being a complete geek for it. Always nice to see what I potentially have in common with people so I can talk about stuff other than 552 with them.
So heres my list of things Im a complete Goon for
Games: Street Fighter, Megaman X, Sonic the Hedgehog, FInal Fantasy, Resident Evil, Assassins Creed, Mortal Kombat & various others
TV: Deadliest Warrior, House, Bones, Family Guy, South Park, American Dad, Dexter, DCAU
Movies: Im a huge movie buff, anything but a chick flick (rom coms are ok sometimes) If your a fan of comic movies I Highly recommend checking out the DC line up of animated movies. All of them are epic. New Frontier is Oldschool Epic, but still epic.
Anime: Gundam, DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Vandread, & various others. I prefer action over all else. always open to hear what people are watching on this front.
Toys: I collect PVC ~4 in~ anime figures, Final Fantasy Creatures and Lead characters, Neca & Sota Street Fighter, Neca Assassins creed, god of war, & Prototype. Dbz Figures & over 70 gunpla models. I wouldnt be surprised to find I have spent $1,000's sunk into toys, video games, and dvd/bluerays
Music: OverClockedRemix, Video game music in general, J Pop anime opening and endings, Various, Rap, R&B, and rock songs.
WebComics: Least I Could Do, Looking For Group, Gutters, 8 Bit Theater, How I killed your master, and ye anot comics but series: yugi oh abrdiged, dbz abridged, Red vs Blue recently
So if anyone ever wants someone to nerd out with in any of these topics... im ready and willing.

Games: Final Fantasy, Spyro the dragon [lawls nostalgia], .Hack//, Tales of <333
TV: Family Guy, Simpsons, American Dad, South Park, Supernatural [DAMN YOU CAIN!]
Movies: I usually watch musicals D: mind you they are all I own~XD; Buuttt I looveeee me some comic book related movies. I lovedddd the Batman: Under the red hood~<3 The voice cast was rad ;w; but but but but I wanted to hug Batman, the poor dear<3. Musicals, nerdy things, and Disney movies~XD;
Anime: Gundam wing, DBZ, Yu yu hakusho, Claymore, DGreyman, Scrapped Princess, Code Geass<3, Anything titled: .hack//, Sailor Moon, and so much shojo I can't be arsed to list'em all.
Manga: Deadman Wonderland, Until Death Do Us Part [JESUS<3 ], Immortal Rain, Air Gear.
Toys: Final Fantasy figures, Tales of the abyss trading figures , I've got a box of old pokemon and digimon toys |D;
Music: Video game music [silent Hill,FF, .hack// mostly], the occasional anime song, Dir en Grey [the only J-rock], Ska<333333, Classical, Jazz, metal, rock.. anything?XD
WebComics: Least I Could Do, Romantically Apocalyptic, Amazing Super Powers

Just came out Yesterday, Superman/Batman Apocolpyse. Like Public Enemies it uses Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly. Final FIght is amazing and you dont see it coming
But if you havent seen them just pick any of them
Superman Doomsday OMG so good
Batman Gotham Knights =Animatrix meets Batman Begins
Justice League New Frontier= Oldschool style like Original oldschool
Wonder Woman = Feminism kicking ancient greek ass at the white house
Green Latern First Flight = its just a good story and good animation
Justice Leauge Crisis on Two Earths = James Woods as Owlman. Jimmie Olsen on super roids
Superman/Batman Public Enemies = the two of them beating the hell out of at least 50 guys. Also greatest Power Girl Joke ever!

you should also try the marvel ones out. The two hulk films are awesome and rewatchable over and over again. The others, not as good but still worth watching. NOW WHO ELSE WANTS TO NERD OUT ABOUT STUFF!!!!
Shugo can Gundam and Leon can star wars and DBZ!!!!

Well at least tell me you are all over Nazi Zombies. I will get Black ops just for that to be honest.
As for starcraft, my compy is to slow for me to play online..... its like a curse from hell!

There's really only one game that's part of a series that I'm a serious buff on, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. I can literally tell you anything and everything in and about the game.
TV: House, Bones, The Amazing Race
Anime: D.Gray-Man, Tales of Symphonia/Abyss anime series, Dragonball Z
Manga: Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLES, XXXholic, Ouran High School Host Club, D.Gray-Man.
Webcomics: Technically a webcomic, but it's also been fan dubbed on Youtube, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 fandub.

Well other than Star Wars and DBZ, my nerdism is also on XIN, The .Hack\\ Seriese games, anime's, and manga's. Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing, Mobile Suit Gundam, and any other seriese relating to the 100 year war.
I dont watch T.V. but my favorite martial arts collection is Dragon Dynasty.
Those are all of my over the top nerdisms, like I know more about these things than a normal person would. I can tell you events, topics, and power levels of every character through the entire seriese of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and DBGT.
I know over 25,000 years worth of historical events and people in the Star Wars universe.
I can quote every episode of XIN and tell you the exact time in seconds it occurs in what episode.
I can tell you who, what, where, when and, why things are going on in "The World", not to mention how it all began. I know every Character Class, their stats and traits, best weapons for what level and how to find them. Not just for one seriese but for both R:1 and R:2.
My Gundam Wing is a little rusty, but I can name all the different mass produced models and Gundam types. Most if not all of their weapons, and strategies, how the Mobile Doll works, and the important bits and pieces of whats going on behind the scenes.
Just like my Gundam Wing, mobile suit gundam is alittle rusty too. I know where most of the important battles took place, including small skirmish's, the different EFF and Zeon mobile suits, their wepon load outs, important pilots, their histories and ranks. My down fall is after the 100 year war. I dont know much about Zeta gundam, or Char's Counter Attack. I dont know alot about the Neo-Zeon uprisings.

I want Assassins Creed Brotherhood to be out already..... I misses the stealth killing
But other than Brotherhood I really cant wait to see what direction they take the 3rd instalment. Well we finally get to run around as Desmond or will it be in another early time? I believe I even heard rumors it would take place in world war I. Kinda takes away from it to me but who knows...
Also what is up with Subject 16? I wonder if any more light will be shed on him.
Then there is Super STreet Fighter IV. All new costumes coming out... and they are dragging the releases out from Oct til next spring. What the hell....? By the time they are done I could be playing MArvel vs Capcom 3. They best not procrastinate that long with adding the new characters as DLC. Thoughts on this or anything else of nerdism anyone?

Yeah Nazi Zombies was fun for awhile but its only really fulfilling now when friends are over who don't have Xbox and scream....like Mikey >_> jkjk Also yes to Black Ops! Excited for some new stuff though still barely making it to like 7th prestige for the other MW. =( I don't play enough to finish it completely. As for Starcraft yeaaaaahhh my comp is a bit too old to play it all too well. Thinking about upgrading here soon so I can play it in higher quality. Cuz I have to set my settings to the lowest to manage at best moderate quality. But its still worthwhile even at such fail speeds. |
