"Yeah, I actually attend the college now. I know, who would have thought I would graduate High School right?"
She smiled as she looked at him, brushing a few strands of black hair from her face. She looked up at him before she spoke.
"Who would have thought we would have lived through 552..."
She looked to the side, it had been such a dangerous place.
"What about you? You going to college here?"
She shook her head for a moment.
"I take online classes. I'm..."
She stopped for a moment before she looked at him again with a soft smile.
"I'm not used to crowds yet... So for now it's just online classes."
She nodded.
"I'm looking into actually attending classes now though..."
she smiled as she looked at him but soon her smile fell, and she gave a short sigh. Brushing strands of hair from her face.
"listen... I'm sorry for... that. I'm a little on the edge."
She kicked at the sidewalk for a moment before her gaze returned to him.
She'd be honest with him.
"I'm on new medication."
