I've put this on hold for a fair amount of time. It's time.

The following is after several months this deal being disclosed to me and was sent to me via a PM on PHS 42 after some negotiation. The following is from Joe, the RPer behind Matrim Gallagher.

All item information can be found in my bio, quote it if coding is needed.

These items are gifts from me, reparations of sorts to say I'm sorry. I'm not coming back and I'll leave this place alone. But it's been weighing on my conscious and finally I couldn't kid myself anymore. So here's my will.

The christmas hat in my inventory goes to Vetis. I was gonna send it to Tofu because that made me laugh, but Jiro said it was some guy named Vetis so whichever account he wants it on, it's his.

Sight of the infernal Dragon goes to Ryan Koster, either Gabriel Seran or Jaus, whichever he chooses on the stipulation that he sells it and uses the cash for whatever item system is in place. It only seems right since he made it.

Give bones of the infernal dragon to Kenin on the stipulation that he sells it and uses it for whatever cash Staff gives him for it. I thought it was Roger, Jiro tells me it's someone new, so it's a welcoming gift. I'm sorry you almost didn't get the chance to join.

Give Wrath of the Infernal Dragon to whichever account Leon wants it on. He made the item for me and it served me well. I hope he uses it well, or if he chooses to sell it, I hope he uses the cash well.

Give the Arena Champion Pants to Roth, I've seen him around on a couple other boards I've been on since the incident and I've always liked him. He's a champ and he likes wrestling so he's okay in my books.

Give the Shin Guards to Unfettered, or whichever account Mikey would prefer them. I know they aren't the strongest things but every little bit helps right?

Give the boots to Jeremiah Sykes, I prefer Corey keeps the boots on this account but if he wishes it, he can have it on his blaze account. I just think this item fits Jeremiah and I'm glad to see he's reviving the giant.

The quarterstaff goes to Jiro, whichever account she wants it on. It's a good weapon, focuses on defense and it's nothing extremely violent and can serve a lot of silly jiro purposes like flailing.

The canisters can go to Kyr, you rock Kiki, you should hit me up sometime I haven't heard from you in forever. Nice to see you are RP'ing still.

The Bochi Fruit can go to Jayr, I don't really know who you are, thought you were Kevala when I first saw your character but either way I hope the fruit serves you well.

And the last item I'm giving away is the +5 int ring in my vault. That goes to Farren, I've always wanted to RP with him and never got the chance, so the ring is just me saying I think you're cool.

This is an overly powerful item. I can see why Joe recognizes that this item shouldn't exist: It's 4 items in one.

The reason for the delay is that I need to scour PHS #42 to see what it was originally bought for. Failing that, I'll have to come up with an approximate guestimate to its actual worth here on 259.

Please pardon the continued wait, but it should either be a day or three more (due to school on my end. ^_^;;.

I'd pit its worth, according to phs 42's system and the worth of the items, at around 26,000.

Here, its worth considerably more according to the harsher restrictions we've placed on things.

Between 35,000 and 50,000.

EDIT: Let me iterate- These numbers do not reflect my personal belief of the items value. I think that a maximum resell amount option should be added to these. Perhaps of 10K. Again, these numbers are according to the current system in use, and does not reflect my personal belief in any way.

Found the item of origin.

Called "Voodoo Bone Necklace" originally.

The actual price, Corey, I believe is much lower.

At one point in staffing, it was agreed upon that people could exchange EXP for cash, typically at a rate of $1000 per experience point.

Take also into account the power and most would agree that this item is incredibly "broken" and/or "imbalanced."

Putting aside the powers of the other absorbed items, the "Voodoo Bone Necklace" grants +1 to every statistic, meaning a rough $5000, which by resale value would either be reduced by 10% to $4500 or halved into $2500.

However, it then subtracts 5 charisma points, meaning the item's value of $5000 goes to $5000 - $5000... to $0. Meaning the item itself is in turn worthless.

Due to the broken-ness of the item power, which wasn't even created through a custom item system, I'd range that it'd be worth about $1000, so with the statistical value of $0 + $1000 in terms of its power, the "Voodoo Bone Necklace" is worth an average of $1000.

This would be a slap in the face to Joe, though (though this is arguably warranted, given previous circumstances). Therein, as a moderator, I'd say to waive the -$5000 from the subtracted 5 charisma under a self-proposed clause of "fair and just" judgment, waive the 10% and 50% penalty of resale value on 259 under same said clause and raise the value of this item itself to $6000.

The other item values, I would negate in resale, unless Leon says otherwise.

If the other items stored in this necklace acknowledged, then:

Let's see. Considering the amount of items (this can actually be considered 5 items in one)... the total price under the halving system would be thus:

-# Absorption 3: $23,000
-# Absorption 4: $6,500

Total Price: $41,500

At that point, I would have to agree with Corey on the $10k resale cap, unless the slashed out initial $6000 seems fairer. However, this is only if you, Kenin, don't have any issue with the resale cap. If you do, we'll have to bring this up to Leon.

Regardless, if you choose to accept a cap or even the drastically lower first judgment, then a moderately fair compensation should be considered on your behalf.

First and foremost sweet jesus I didn't even look at that thing. That's fucking ugly...

That said...

How about instead of cash we just do an exchange, like as an example an item store coupon where I can exchange it for any one item or something along those lines. That way it doesn't necessarily carry any worth, and that way I don't get a ton of items for selling this one, the most I could get is a single item on the list. Otherwise I, being me, would lean towards wanting the most cash I could get for it. But that's just mostly because the site is coming to an end, and being geared up for the final battle would be fun.

In any case, if you like the exchange idea all I was really going to do with it is get the 259 weapon, which has a worth less than the 41,500 amount, but is worth more than 10k. In that sense it's somewhat of a midpoint between the two (granted it's closer to the 41k) Haha.... get it? I said granted.... like Grant.... roflcopter. But yeah, that's really all I would probably get with it anyway. Even if I got the cash all I would do at that point is buy the 259 weapon and fusions/upgrades for my other items.

Not quite sure who is spreading the rumor that the board is coming to an end.... Is it Leon?

A while ago, John stated the main storyline was coming to an end. The main storyline coming to an end is fine- it only leaves room for the birth of another. Perhaps some students will graduate and move on (Like David will), And others will stay behind to watch the start of a new line of history.

Thats what i took from it. By no means do i wish to see, nor do any others wish to see, 259 "come to an end". Side storylines need finishing. The main storyline has been a continuation of a story that has gone on for years- John is smart to bring it to an end. Time to start fresh.

A single device that clasps over the forearm, a reverse fan on the middle of the bulk that spins when Qi is activated, drawing in heat from around the area it recharges Matrim's Qi for further use.

+2 Cha per charge. Must ignite Qi to charge. 1 Charge allowed per post.

On the subject of 259, I myself have noticed my own schdual wont allow for me to do alot of internet activities. So I'm bringing my forever and a half years long story to an end.

I'm leaving the fate of 259 up to the people. If it dies it will be because no one wanted to continue.
