OOC:The song she's signign can be found at www.myspace.com/ashes4eyes .And please, someone rp with me!!!! She had snuck away from english. It was a risk. But she'd taken it.
She had no friends, aside form Winters. And that was...
She'd rather not stew on the matter.
Hidden, within the school was a room. A darkened room. Cluttered with old drama costumes and props.
And there in the corner lay a dusted piano.
An old, half melted candle was lit. And near it would be Calamity, hovering close to it as she made her way through the mess to the piano.
Dainty, slender fingers struck lightly upon the piano keys.
"Forget, all this time...you were mine"
Calamity would seat herself onto the bench, dimly lit by the small candle set rested upon the antique grand piano. Softly tilting her head tot he side, a few strands of hair falling into her face.
She had found this room by accident, of course skipping class and just happened to stumble upon it. and now this had became her place, her spot.
Her back pack leaning up against a pile of old school books, her jacket hanging form a chair off by the door.
"But it's too late, I'm broken hearted..."

The room was a place he lurked at times when he came to the school for whatever reason. He liked this particular room because it reminded him of Europe a bit. With the piano and the drama costumes. All of it tucked away nicely, and out of sight and mind. It seemed that no janitorial staff or student had been in this room. But wait, what is this? Does he sense a disturbance in the force?
Nope... a long blonde hair rested on the floor.
His eyes narrowed, as he picked it up, the shade of blonde was so familiar, but he couldn't quite place it. Right on the tip of his tongue. Misfortune. No. Accident. No.
Tragedy?
No.
Calamity. That was it. He ran into her at the park one day, almost cut her open because she wanted it. Eventually they ended running from the cops after he killed one, and went back to his place. They had a good conversation, then he took her home. When he looked at the footprints on the dusty floor, they matched up with what he remembered her size and weight to be.
Carefully he crawled around the room, now aware that someone else was in it. The the piano started playing. Ah.. the piano. He slinked between crates of props and things like a shadow that belonged there. He ended up on top of one box that over looked the piano.
He waited for her to notice him. She'd probably feel like she was being watched first. That's when she'd start looking for him. Yes... that would make sense.

"Come on baby..."
Fingertips briskly running along keys, eyes skimming the top of the dusted piano as she played, now closing as the music would almost flow form her fingertips.
"Remain alone, with lonely me..."
Her body slightly swooned from side to side, almost dancing along to the beat. Her head to the side, a few strands of hair falling into her face, like a veil of uncertainty.
"Imagi-"
Someone?
"Imagine nothing, its too late."
But now as she would let her head rise, those eyes slowly opening. Finding Valekin, crouching upon a box like some sort of luminous gargoyle.
Now, those fingers would slow. But would still linger upon the keys as she watched Valekin closely. After all, he ate people.
Was today her day?

"Is that how it ends? So sudden. If not keep playing."
He had a benign aura with him today. No, if she was keen enough to notice it, he was not a foreboding presence today. Maybe he was going to keep his promise now that he ran into her? Wouldn't that be great? Yet he remained atop the crate, resting his head on the back of his left wrist, and letting the other arm dangle as if he were a sloth. He remained there on his belly.
"When your done, I'd like to play. As many times as I've been in here, I've never touched the piano. I used to play the violin like I was one of the elite. But... I wasn't at the piano as the violin."
At least he was a cultured cannibal. If not a ruthless one, that would kill his enemies on sight, and seriously maim those that got in his way. He didn't put up with much jell-o.

"Is that how it ends? So sudden. If not keep playing."
Watching him closely, trying to find a few words to speak, but as she thought nothing would come to mind. Now, licking her lower lip as she'd let those eye's of her's fall from that man, that animal poised upon the box. Fingertips would slowly start up the tune again, slipping from her fingers, flowing to his ears like it had before.
"Imagine, that nothin' has come but its too late."
"When your done, I'd like to play. As many times as I've been in here, I've never touched the piano."
"Forget all this time, your body's close to mine."
She'd glance up, those orbs focusing on his body. Watching closely through the flickering candle light. So he'd been there before? She hadn't been the only one?
"Cause darkness's touch has come between us." " I used to play the violin like I was one of the elite. But... I wasn't at the piano as the violin."
"But it's too late."
Now, lowering her head. As if to hide her face from Valekin, to hide it from all humanity. She had gone there to hide, but not from Valekin. From everyone, from the school...from him. Hiding int he depths of that dusted room, trying to erase herself.
"I'm broken hearted."
She'd ease off of the piano. Letting those blue eyes peek up at Valekin, as if secretly waiting for his approval.

"Beautiful song. Though, I find it best when I am in low spirits, to get into good spirits. And it's quite obvious you are in low spirits. So don't hide it. Did you come here to hide? Or just to play the piano?"
He came down off the boxes, and stood behind the piano directly, and leaned on it. And watched her critically. His blood rushed a moment. The other wanting to rip her apart like so many pieces of tissue paper. It would be that easy. But he didn't, he controlled himself. His degree of self control, sometimes is really astounding.
"Or am I disturbing you?"

"...."
"And it's quite obvious you are in low spirits. So don't hide it. Did you come here to hide? Or just to play the piano?"
" A little of both. I often come here to clear my head..."
And to think of him...
Calamity sat silently upon the bench, faintly slouched as her fingers still trailed upon the piano keys as Valekin spoke. Those blue orbs fluttered, now looking at him as he’d ease himself from the crates and make his way towards her. She repositioned herself upon the bench, flexing her fingers a few more times before letting those eyes fall on him again.
"Or am I disturbing you?"
Clearing her throat, her fingers lifting up to gently press against her neck. As she shook her head for a moment, and that same hand tucking a few strands of blonde hair from her face.
“No, not at all Valekin…Your presence is a comfort.”

"That's the first time I've heard that. My presence being a comfort. Ha! Usually I scare the shit out of everyone around me, da?"
He grinned, baring sharp teeth, and cocked his right hand. Then let it fall. He trod gently towards a stack of crates, and leaned up against it. He watched her for a moment, her behavior made it apparent that he made her a little uneasy. Maybe it was the whole cannibalism thing. That was probably it. That, and the fact that he was totally insane.
"Do you think I'm crazy?"
Careful now, this could cause things to explode. That wouldn't be nice, getting all this dusty stuff all agitated and bloody.

"That's the first time I've heard that. My presence being a comfort. Ha! Usually I scare the shit out of everyone around me, da?"
Valekin might have been a killer, but he was powerful, and thats what comforted her. If he wanted, he could protect her...if he wanted, and that was comforting. Jenna had always felt un-easy, weak in this world, and maybe Calamity did too, who knew.
But as she watched him bare those fangs of his, she couldn't help but smile. Tilting her head to the side and watching him rest against the crates.
Was he trying to scare her?
That young girl sat upon the bench, letting her hands rest gently in her lap as he parted his lips.
"Do you think I'm crazy?"
"Crazy? No."
She shook her head, now letting her eyes fall onto the piano keys again. Letting her index finger strike one of the keys to let it ring out.
"Maybe a little rough around the edges, but who isn't?"
She'd strike another key.
Johnathan wasn't perfect, and either was she. Johnathan was anything but perfect, with the whole Thrush thing and all...and maybe thats what she loved about him.
Secretly, Johnathan was a beast.
"..Who's afraid of ze big bad volf.. ze big bad volf.. ze big bad volf.."
She swallowed, slowly letting that hand return to her lap where she'd let those eyes peek up at Valekin.
She was struggling to lock her thoughts away, push them back into the closet, just like Winters had. But it was hard, he was all she thought about.
"I know a boy...he's a little rough around the edges."
Leaning to the side, a few strands of hair falling into her face as she glanced off to the side before looking at him.
"But I wouldn't have him any other way..."

"Ah. Sounds like a bit of young love. Well good luck to you. As you never know how such things will turn out."
Yes, you just never know how those kinds of things will turn out. It could always end horribly, something could go terribly wrong. And the two would hate each other. Or the two could get married have kids, and then everything exploded in their faces. People were strange. It's what made life so interesting.
"I bet you want all those silly little girl things with him too. A nice house with a white picket fence, a family. Taking the kids to soccer practice. Those sorts of things, da?"
Hye ha ha ha ha ha.
"I want my castle and my Barony. Sitting around and lording over a few towns, with the obligation to protect the innocent people with military might. That's what my father did, and taught me that I would do too when I got older."

"Ah. Sounds like a bit of young love. Well good luck to you. As you never know how such things will turn out."
Mocking her? No.
Not yet.
Looking away again, those blue eyes scanning the room. Falling upon her back pack, and then quickly back to Valekin before letting those eyes fall upon the dusted floor.
"I bet you want all those silly little girl things with him too."
Her eyes shot at him, narrowing upon him quicker then a cat could pounce upon a mouse. Licking her lower lip as she leaned forward.
"A nice house with a white picket fence, a family. Taking the kids to soccer practice. Those sorts of things, da?"
Her hands would slam against the piano keys, the awkward tinge of the keys ringing thought he room yet again, except this time not as lovely as before.
At that moment she despised Valekin, more then she had ever before.
"I want my castle and my Barony. Sitting around and lording over a few towns, with the obligation to protect the innocent people with military might. That's what my father did, and taught me that I would do too when I got older."
Her lips parted, to show those teeth of her's as she laughed. Sitting up, hands lingering over the keys before falling to her sides as she still laughed.
"Ha.Ha.Ha."
Shaking her head, finding his eyes as she thought of attacking him. Stripping him of his dignity.
"A little house? No...a family? No. I've never thought of those things with Johnathan...I..."
She faltered, catching her breath a moment before swallowing.
"I just want him."
Now, regaining herself as she'd rub her palms against the fabric of her jeans.
"But a castle would be nice too. A pink one, with a white picket fence."
A cute smile flashed in Valekin's direction, tilting her head to the side.

"You would need a lot of paint for a pink castle."
He said, nodding. Of course, he didn't ignore what she said first. He made a mental note of it. This was an interesting development indeed. The Johnathan that they knew in common was Johnathan Winters. There were other John's in the school, but he was the only one that he knew that she knew. This would prove interesting indeed.
"I don't think Home Depot would be able to provide all that paint. But you could probably mix it yourself. From the blood of your enemies and marshmallows. That would make pink. Then you'd have to just spread it on the castle, and you'd be good to go."

"You would need a lot of paint for a pink castle."
A soft nod.
"Heh, yeah."
"I don't think Home Depot would be able to provide all that paint. But you could probably mix it yourself. From the blood of your enemies and marshmallows. That would make pink. Then you'd have to just spread it on the castle, and you'd be good to go."
Thinking for a moment, smiling to herself as she listened to him. A small laugh escaped form her lips before she ran her fingers through her bleached hair.
"Sounds like a plan..."
Trailing off now as she stood up, dusting off her bum bum and taking a few steps away from the piano. No she'd slightly bow, her eyes trailing on Valekin.
"Your turn?"
This was said as she'd motion towards the piano.

"I don't play. And it's out of tune anyway."
He rolled his head a bit, and several vertebrae cracked out of enjoyment. She bowed at him. He didn't like that, but he let it go. Today he'd rather not spill anyone's blood. It would make the room look a little more depressing, and besides. No one would find the body until it started to reek.
"I forgot why I had come to this room in the first place."
He stood there and pondered for a while. Hoping that it would suddenly come to him. Was he breaking in? No, he didn't need to break into the school. Was he looking for a place to hide the bodies? No.. that's what parks and chimneys were for. Why was he there indeed?

She stood, letting her eyes fall to the side.
She waited for Valekin to finish, why had he come?
She wouldn't stew on it, wasn't her place.
So instead that small frame left the piano's side and would wander on off to another corner, glancing at Valekin for a moment before she'd lean down to a dusted crate. Peeking at it with those meek blue eyes, blowing, trying to rid it of all the dust and now a hand would settle onto it, and with oen swipe wishing the dirt away.
"How old do you think all this stuff is?"
A simple question, as she tugged at the crate lid a few more times, a simple crack and it was free. She let it drop to the side as she placed herself upon her knees, hovering over the crate like it was a treasure chest of toys.
"Think I'll find anything good? Ooooh, maybe some vintage clothes? Those old vintage dresses are so hot, I see the pinup girls wearing them all the time."
Now her right hand would venture inside, pushing a few dusted objects away.
