First off, welcome back Dylan!
Secondly, the entire world was bombed to kingdom come by Sean Barker and his lackeys, and the entire city of Long Beach and PHS #259 is in ruins. A gang war has ensued, and everyone is trying to get as much territory as they can, in hopes of taking Barker down.
Most people have to choose if they want their character in Easy or Hard Mode. Easy mode... is well, what it sounds like. Less chance of your character dying a horrible, horrible death. Hard mode, your character will have a greater chance of being killed.
Those that don't pick either one, and opt out of the main story, forfeit the gang they were part of and any territory they had. The rest still in the main story are either part of a gang or not in one period.
I think that's all so far, if not, someone else can pick up where I left off.
