Chihiro was tired. All of this work for Valekin was mentally and physically exhausting, to say the least. And most of the time she had no idea what she was doing. Blindly following orders, and hoping they come to some positive conclusion that doesn't result in physical harm. The last mission had her running from a gangbanger who would have liked nothing more than to slam her against a wall and slit her throat.
With a yawn, Chi dialed in the combo to her locker, opening it and stashing her books inside. Now if only she had something to help restore her energy and possibly do more...that would be fantastic.

It was time to get back to his old self. The old self that he seemed to lose when leaving 552 to start a new life in SoCal as a person that recently graduated from the halls of 259. He was a graduate and had somewhat of some freedom. Keith had just finally realized it.
He was on his own. There was no Auroth the Emperor of the Night around to help him out. There was no Linda Osako of the Collosai either. No Wanderer of Equlibrium as well. But hey, Keith was on his own for now and it sure felt pretty damn good.
Due to the violence within the halls of 259, Keith opted to go to a more peaceful environment such as UCLA. But, Keith would still roam the halls of 259.
He would find himself in the hallway. It was time to take a look around to see what he had missed. Keith took an improptu vacation to Mexico for some unknown reasons. He had a travel bag with him.
Keith had on casual clothing such as blue jeans, black street shoes, and a tucked in tight black t-shirt that showed off his physique. Most important, he had on those black shades.

Whispered words caught Chi's ears, and she glanced over at two girls who seemed to be giggling about some boy in the hallway. But it wasn't just any boy...despite the shades, Chi didn't find it hard to identify the boy with the travel bag.
"Keith?" She asked, tilting her head to the side as he walked by. "Why are you here?" The last thing Chi knew, he had graduated, so what was he doing back in the halls of 259? He seemed to have a purpose though, by the way he was walking and carrying himself, and it interested the senior.

"Keith?"
Keith had stopped and turned to face a familiar girl. It was Chihiro, a girl that he somewhat knew within the halls of 259.
"Why are you here?"
He had adjusted his shades a bit before turning his direction to Chihiro. Keith really didn't know why he was walking the halls of 259 again.
"Have to see this school one last time, I guess," Keith answered.
However, Keith seemed to have dropped his English accent. He seemed to talk with a more American accent. The accent was cool yet tough sounding at the same time. Kind of like Spike from Cowboy Bebop.
Shit, forgot the accent...
"Looking around before I head off to greener pastures," Keith added going back to his English accent.

Chi gave a kind of 'hmm' in a 'caught you in your game' kind of way. "You can drop the accent if it isn't real. I don't do fronts." She crossed her arms, leaning next to her still open locker. "Now...are you going to tell me why you're really here, or do you expect me to believe that you really do miss this hell hole so much you had to see it again?"
Chi wasn't stupid, in fact, when she first walked into this school, she made it her business to know how the human (and male) brain worked, and then exploit it to her own purposes. And even now, that she had given up the 'use-em-an-lose-em' road she ahd been on, didnt mean she couldn't tell when something was up.

"You can drop the accent if it isn't real. I don't do fronts."
Shit...
It was time for Keith to do his regular speaking accent. It was that one mistake and Keith almost gave up who he really was. But, Keith wasn't going to spill his guts about his past.
"Now...are you going to tell me why you're really here, or do you expect me to believe that you really do miss this hell hole so much you had to see it again?"
Keith cooly and calmly cleared his throat.
"No, I'm not going to miss this hellhole... No different from 552 in a sense."
He looked at his bag.
"I came to sell this stuff off. I must've been high on something when I bought these things. Never intended on using them."

A curious expression crossed her face, and she looked at the bag. "Bought what?" What is he selling? Trinkets? Rolexes? Steroids? Something illegal? She had known Keith for a little while now, but it looked as though she were looking at him with new eyes.
No accent, secret agenda. With all of the crap Chi had gotten herself into with her curiosity, you think she'd have learned to avoid it by now.

"Bought what?"
Keith clared his throat, "something me and some other people bought altogether. I managed to get a discount for giving the dealer something valuable in return."
He then added, "so far, these drugs don't seem illegal. But I have no idea of the side-effects so far... Except if you take a certain amount or mix a certain amount, you'll OD."
Keith would open the case for Chi to look at. He had 6 Red Drugs, 6 Blue Drugs, 6 Green Drugs, 6 White Drugs, 7 Yellow Drugs, 1 Purple Drug, 1 Black Drug, and a can of Brimstone Delta.
"Each drug has a different effect. But I was never one for drugs."

Drugs? "Like...are they trippy, or do they have enhancement qualities like steroids?" She looked into the bag, observing the different colored ones, and one can she recognized as brimstone delta.
That was the drug that Valekin was after, that he was researching. She knew this because he had told her himself, but she didn't know anything about what it did or any of its effects or counter effects.

"Like...are they trippy, or do they have enhancement qualities like steroids?"
Keith shrugged. The drugs did have enhancement qualities but they weren't steroids. But he remembered the explanation the dealer had told him. Keith wold be able to relay that same information to Chihiro.
"I doubt they're trippy... The red temporarily increases your strength. The blue temporary increases your speed. The green increases your fortitude. The white enhances your mind. The yellow enhances everything."
He would allow Chihiro to digest that info.
"I heard you can take up to three of any drug as long as their red, blue, green, or white. More than three, you OD. You can take up to three yellows. But if you take one yellow and take another color drug, you OD."
Keith would reveal the black and purple canisters.
"Black doubles your attributes. But it's an automatic OD afterwards. Purple cancels out an OD."

Interesting...and oddly enough, enticing. Chi could use the added boost, but did she need it? "What are the side effects?" She asked in a 'whats the catch' sort of way. Was there dependence? Withdrawal? Did they leave you weak afterward? The whole prospect of OD-ing was kind of scary as well. OD could mean death, that was one thing that was the same about all drugs.

"What are the side effects?"
Keith shrugged his shoulders. "All I know is that you OD, you end up in the hospital. I bought the drugs so I could reverse engineer them and get the formula."
He lowered his shades down a bit. Chihiro was the first person Keith would reveal his eyes to. His eyes were brown and almond shaped. Keith didn't know why he was revealing his eyes to Chihiro. He'd probably figure it out later.
"But, I don't think I'd recommend you take them. You could get a spike in energy. But is a temporary fix worth it?"

"...You could get a spike in energy. But is a temporary fix worth it?" That's exactly what she was thinking...was it worth it? Well, she knew that Valekin was interested in the Brimstone Delta, maybe she could get that for him and return it with the information she had uncovered, literally. She had yet to meet up with Mr. King. But what of the other drugs? She didn't need them, really? Maybe one wouldn't hurt..she wouldn't use it all the time, that's dangerous. It would only ever be a last resort. A 'get out of jail free' card of sorts, because if her line of work get any more dangerous, she just might need it.
"How much are the Brimstone...and the yellow one?" She asked in a decided tone, though keeping her voice low and she looked up at him to see that he had removed his sunglasses. His eyes were just like hers, almond shaped. Well, Chi wouldn't see why not, the first time they'd met, they were fending off a bunch of Asian haters. Maybe it was the whole fake-accent thing that that thrown her off.

"How much are the Brimstone...and the yellow one?"
Keith raised a brow when she asked how much she was selling them for. This had concerned him greatly. He knew how Brimstone Delta was addicting. Keith could assume the other color drugs could be addicting as well.
"I have one can of the Brimstone and seven yellows... Both produce the same effect. I can sell them together for one-hundred a piece," Keith seriously answered.
"You plan on using them on yourself or something?"
He was hoping that Chihiro wasn't going to use that stuff on herself.

"I know someone who's...interested in the Brimstone. Research purposes." She said, though not going into it too much. Being a shadow knight, Chi assumed that with all the precautions she went through working for him, he probably wanted to be kept secret. ...She wasn't going to tell him about her use of the yellow one, as it had to do with her job as well.
"I can pay you two hundred for them. I only need one yellow, not seven or anything like that." She turned to her locker and reached for her purse, pulling out her wallet and two crisp hundred dollar bills. Once again, with her job to Valekin, money wasn't an issue. Nor did she go about flaunting her money either, as that was a good way to get jumped. She held the money folded in her hand, holding her closed hand out to him.
