Head up, look alive. No excuses this time.
One foot was placed on the very edge of the roof. Her slender hands were clutched on the inside of her black leather jacket. Those bright green eyes were closed as she breathed in the air. A pair of earphones were pressed in, the wire leading to one jacket pocket. There, held inside her fist, was her mp3player that she had had since her days at New York.
She not real. It's just your mind.
Her breathing was steady, calm for the first time in what seemed forever. The blonde had been in and out of the hospital...worried. She was sick almost every morning and hated the fact she had to go to that white walled place. Kate hated doctors.
This is it. Say goodbye.
The lyrics rang in her ears as she stood there. Her hair was pulled back in a braid. Away from her face, and hung over one shoulder. Under her jacket she wore a simple black tank top paired with a comfy pair of tight jeans. Her feet were covered with black converse. Comfy...becase all pregnant women wanted to be comfortable.
Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her off. Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her off. Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her off. Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her off.
Kate McHallin was trying to relax. It was hard with the need to puke over the side of the roof...but the cleaner air was helping her a little. There was no one smoking up here, and no one with horrid morning breath. Just her and her mp3player. Kate kept the song on repeat. She loved the English punk band the Ropes. But something was on her mind.
She's the voice in your head. That says stay in bed.
If life was leading her this way.... what would she do? She was going to have a child....correction...children. The last visit to her doctor had told her as much. Twins he said. As if one wasn't enough for her to want to pull her hair out at. God or the gods must be laughing at her. The only explanation. And her only friend was Vale....
She tells you your weak. You don't need her critique. No she's not worried now, cuz she knows you'll back down.
She needed him. Needed him to hold her...but she had been avoiding him. Why? Because she didn't want to fall back into that trap. The trap where she leaned on the closest male....and ended up falling for them. The blonde didn't want to depend on a man like that again...but her heart hurt because of it. Once her mother had told her that she was a female....and that love was just as much apart of them as the color of their hair. But she still hated the feeling....because everyone had left. Everyone. Slowly.
Don't help her out. Why do you keep her around?
Kate sighed and turned....then stopped. The door was opening and some one was coming onto the roof. Now the question was...friend or foe? Considering she had only one friend.... Kate frowned and let go of her mp3player. She just might need to fight....
Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her off. Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her off. Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her off. Kill her, kill her, kill her, kill her off.
((ooc: I really don't want a fight, but a good rp where Kate could possibly make a friend that she needs. <3! ))
