As Rabbit poured his heart out, Marcus found himself something to sit on and made himself comfortable. He listened, never saying a word other than a thoughtful grunt here and there. The whole thing sounded pretty straightforward. He filed it away in his mind to peruse later on. Thinking about it only made him recall his own ordeal in New York as Barkers munitions fell and turned his city into a mass grave with the ruined buildings as tombstones.

"Sounds like there's a damn good chance your brother is still alive Rabbit."
Marcus mused almost half to himself.
"Alot of people got picked up by the militia and brought to the green zone after the initial chaos died down."
Though worse case senario obviously was he might have been picked up by one of Barkers patrols, but all things considered it might be wise not to voice that one aloud.

“Thank you for your help and the place to stay. I don’t even remember the last time I actually had a whole night of sleep without worrying about someone trying to steal something from me. I can’t even remember when I had my last meal. Do you think you friends will have enough food to feed me as well? I don’t want to be an inconvenience.”

'If I get my way, you certainly wont be.'
Marcus definatly had his mind made up. He wanted Rabbit. His Parkour Skills were on par with his own which made him a perfect candidate for project Wolfpack. Rina and Senji were already a given. All they needed was combat training. Something Marcus would have no problem with. Leon sensei didn't just teach Marcus how to fight and win. He also indirectly gave Marcus the skills to himself teach others.

Marcus checked himself. Project Wolfpack was still a long LONG way off though. He would need specific equipment and supplies. Which meant he needed 'Unfettered' and his Crows.
Which meant he needed to slowly prod Rabbit into the Crows direction as well.
"Nah dude, don't worry about it. Just stick with us until your back on your feet. If you wanna stick around after though, they wont say no. We Could use a guy like you with the skills you got ya know. Ever thought about getting back at the asshole who put us all into this mess in the first place?"

The question hit him like as if it were a punch. He hadn’t really thought about getting back at the person who dropped the bombs. He was too busy worrying about his little brother. He had always left those kinds of concerns for the government and people who were trained to deal with them. Now that those were not around anymore it would be up to him to make sure justice happened. First things first, he had to find his brother.

“Never thought about it I guess…. Couldn’t really afford to, you know? As far as staying with you after I am on my feet I will have to see how I get along with everyone and visa versa. Where is this place anyway? I can be ready to leave whenever you are just have to leave a note for Ryan incase he comes back. Don’t exactly have much in the way of personnel possessions these days.” He got up and headed for the door taking one last look around the apartment. He found a scrape of paper and used a piece of blackened wood to write a message on it and put it in the middle of the floor. He didn’t leave any specifics when he would be back to check on for Ryan to stay there till he came to get him. He would try to come by at least 2 times a day to check the place. For now though it was time to leave this place and get something to eat and maybe sleep for more then a few hours tonight.

The man smiled. This was definatly one clever Rabbit he was dealing with.
"You know what Rabbit? You're alright. I don't think you'll have much of a problem getting along with the others."
Marcus praised. The boy had definatly endeared himself to Marcus.
"I guess it wont hurt if we take things one step at a time. The safehouse is....."

The man suddenly squinted his eyes as he searched his memory banks. He knew where it was, but unfortunatly he didn't know where he was NOW.
With an irritated growl, Marcus reached towards his left arm and unzipped a hidden pocket that was sewn into the left upper arm of his Bomber jacket. He pulled out a folded piece of paper that quickly revealed itself to be a map as he partialy unfolded it and began tracing his finger along streets and alleyways.

"Awww FUCK me."
Marcus cursed. He rubbed the bridge of his nose with thumb and forefinger before looking back up at Rabbit.
"Ok, we got abit of a walk on our hands. The safehouse is mabey 40 minutes away by conventional means."
Marcus smiled then.
"Fortunatly for us, we can use rather unconventional means and shave a good 15 minutes off. If your up for another run I mean."
By run, Marcus of course meant another round of Parkour and cut a straight line through the dense city towards thier destination.
"I promise there will be sandwitches and fresh water where we are heading. Just promise me you wont spaz out and bolt off in a random direction on me ok?"
