David was leaning against the door frame on the wall behind the head of marcus' bed. he would knock on the door with one hand, holding a rag with the other. After knocking, he would continue toy wipe grease from his fingers before entering the room.
"I got you the parts needed to fix the bike. We made sure to leave it alone, otherwise, so you could fix it up yourself. You were out for about two hours so, no harm there. Your head okay?"
He would be checking on the mechanic as he waited for Marcus to reply.
OOC: Sorry it's short!

"I appreciate that. Letting me fix Lady myself I mean." Marcus was rather protective of Lady and never liked the idea of anyone but himself working on her. She was his bike, tuned EXACTLY to his specifications. "As for my head, feels no worse than any hangover I've had to suffer through."
Which was true enough as he groggily pulled himself into a sitting position, swinging his feet over the side of the bed. The effort made his head spin and so he just sat there for a few moments more. "Not gonna lie, You're one hell of a battletank man. I haven't had a good fight like that in a long time."

He laughed.
"Not so bad yourself. I worry at times that my skill has been surpassed by my strength and ability to take a punch. Wouldn't want to end up like Amtrum..."
He would stand and head over to a cupboard. opening it, he would grab a bottle of pills and toss it to Marcus.
"That ought to help. And while your taking them back- tell me about this gang your in."

(Ooc) this thread is set before wolf and dragon, where Marcus first meets up with Mathew. Just to explain his drastic change in attitude (ooc)
A sniff of disdain would be Marcus' reaction to the earth dragons name. That mans actions set off a sequence of events that would impact Marcus' life tremendously in the months that followed, for good and for ill.
"Is...that guy still around?" He asked, narrowly avoiding Davids question about the Crows. Despite liking the guy, he still was unsure about how he fit into things. Best to play it close to the chest as far as his new comrades were concerned. "I heard of him, back in 552. Him and Leon, Arc and some psycho bitch named Linda...something asian were known as the dragons. So how the heck do they go from being a group of scary ass fighter to a damn army?"

David chuckled a bit.
"Thats a...very long story. Perhaps you and I can discuss our lives sometime but...turns out, Im being called away. Work never ends. Let me know if you need anything else- you know where my shop is. I think I can trust you can see your way out?"
He would give a grin and a thumbs up before heading out the door- back to his workshop.

A long story huh? Definitely one Marcus wanted to hear. "Nah I should be good. Thanks for the....." He faltered as he winced, the headache returning. Not wanting to shake his brain out his ear, the man just sat there for a second riding the wave of pain before making a vague gesture with his hand and continuing. "..well, everything really. Wouldn't mind throwing down with you again I won't lie."
After David made his leave, Marcus would check one last time on the old junkyard owner before gathering up his own things, fueled Lady up and roared off down the street and out of sight.

Fight has been handed in using the Fight Turn-In System.
This was a short fight, but one of substance. Quite a treat to read.
David: +1 EXP. You had a clear goal in mind from the start, and your fighting style reflected that. I found your fighting style creative, flow-y, and in the moment. To call it reactionary is not an insult by any means, in this case I mean it more that you were 'in' the fight, as opposed to deciding your moves beforehand and sticking to them no matter what your opponent did. Fine work.
Marcus: +1 EXP. This is a prime example of Marcus' ability to adapt his style to suit his needs. At times very straightforward, at times quite circular, and even deceptive. You're also letting the reader in to some of his thoughts, and his thought process, which is always a good thing. Keep it up.
