The roar of a motorcycle could be heard miles down the road. Thanks to some little Douche bag trashing her Bar while she was gone, she had to make a new one and that meant scoping out the competition. Really the only place she could find while driving around was something that was in Crow territory. It wasn't like her bar by any means, at least not on the outside but who knew what lurked inside. She'd hide her bike, because the last think she wanted was to have to whoop someone's ass for touching Marcus. That is right, she named her bike Marcus so she could make jokes about riding him. It seemed only fair since he called his bike Lady to get at her. Dressed in a corset, faded blue jeans with holes in the knees and black boots. She walked up to the bar, her delicate tanned hands pushing the door open and stepping into the bar. Her silver hair was pulled back into a ponytail. Emerald green eyes catching what little light there might have been and reflecting it for just a moment as her eyes scanned over the place and the people with in it.

There's a generous bustle of people about the gang hideout, some members and some not. A few glancing in the woman's direction as she entered, but really non paid her a great deal of mind as they went about their various bits of business in almost worker bee fashion. For the most part, it seemed that she would be left to her own devices for the time being...
... so long as there wasn't trouble.

Her brow raised seeing the people stop to glance at her. It was typical but since none of them kept their eyes on her very long she let it go. Everyone seemed so busy. This hardly seemed like an entertaining place to be. She'd slowly walk around, passing in between people, her boots lightly thudding on the floor below though hardly audible. Despite all the noises and people around the bar seemed rather quiet to her, a little too quiet. Where was the excitement? The laughs, the cat calls? An exasperated sigh left her crimson painted lips and she would move over to the bar and sit down at an empty stool.
She crossed her long legs, one over the other as she eyed the people around her. This place wasn't nearly as entertaining as her bar was going to be. At least, not in her opinion. A rather bored look crossed her features as she drummed her nails against the bar top thinking. The bartender startled her when he asked what she wanted and it would take her a moment to answer. "Just rum will do." She replied, her tongue rolled the R and she would return her gaze to the room.
"How droll, where are the ladies? The loud music, people dancing and having fun..." She spoke rather dully of this place.

Silk got her drink within a few seconds of ordering, a female Crow doing the actual bartending. She just stared at the newcomer for a while before finally deciding to answer.
"Things are different nowadays. We've got people to look after and can't spend everyday liquored up and partying like we used to... we had to grow up."
She offered a small shrug after her somewhat bitey words.
"We still find the time to cut loose, however, just not at this time."

Silk would glance at the woman as she spoke. Ah yes... this whole apocalyptic thing. Still, Silk could think of many reasons to get liquored up and party, However, she would say nothing more. At least not to the girl bar tending. It seemed rather pointless to when people saw that in a time like this, the way this bar was working... was the only way to do it. She would sip at her drink of rum, letting the liquor burn its way down her throat providing that familiar warmth she enjoyed so much. "Pity..." She finally said in reply.
The glass of rum in hand she would get up and walk away from the bar. Her hips swayed softly, left to right as she continued to watch people. Looking after people, she could do that and still have a bar that functioned as a place to relax. No doubt Marcus would insist on helping her run it. The boy had become a regular Mr.Fix-it and he loved to be kept occupied. Her long silver hair swished behind her, sweeping over her lower back as she slipped between the people of the bar. It was rather crowded for her taste, but then again, it seemed people didn't really have any other place to go.
The toe of her boot would kick up against the foot of someone else and she would fall forward. Instead of grabbing out in front of herself to stop herself from falling, Silk would twist her body around. She was hopeful that the momentum and her twisting might stop her from falling, though it seemed it didn't. All it did was change her course and she would fall directly into someone's lap. Her green eyes blinked and she looked around for a moment to see how many saw her less than graceful fall from grace.

Silk would find herself wrapped in the arms the man she fell into, held quite safely from falling and hurting herself. After a moment the guy laughed and spoke to the bartender.
"I think this ladies had enough for the night, she seems a little tipsy."
"Sir... that's her first."
A pause.
"... wow."

Silk hadn't intended to fall into the boy's lap. It just happened, of course his arms wrapping around her to help cushion her landing was unexpected and when the boy spoke about her having too much her eye twitched. "Oi! I tripped over someone's foot, it is not my amount of drink. Some ass hat left his damn foot in my way." She huffed as she remained seated. "One sip of rum isn't nearly enough to make me tipsy, I'm not a fucking lightweight." She felt rather insulted by the boys assessment of her sobriety. Amusingly enough, though the woman sounded annoyed about his words she didn't leave the boy's lap. Why should she? She was perfectly comfortable there. She would raise her glass and take a sip of it before looking around.
"This place is still boring." She grumbled still seated in his lap. "Apocolypse or no, I would expect a bar to do its job and take the customers minds off their troubles." Silk grumbled to herself. It was almost as if she were ignoring the boy she was sitting on now. She hadn't even introduced herself yet she had the presence of mind to remain seated on him.

Kiyoshi didn't let go immediately while letting the woman yell at him for his misinterpretation of the situation. In fact, a rather large amused grin formed at the berating as he laughed lightly. It wasn't everyday someone spoke to him like that.
"My apologies, miss. My mistake, but if that's the case then how about I buy your drinks for the night?"
Obviously he was more than happy to let her sit on his lap. If she was comfortable than that was just fine with him. There had been a few before her that had found that place comfortable.
"Well there is more than one way to alleviate someone's worries. One is booze it all away but when the alcohol wears off that's all still there. Another is to fix the problem, feed them, shelter them, and give them what they require to feel safe and secure in their lives moving forward... at least as much as possible in these times."
He chuckled lightly after his little speech.
"But I agree that the owner of this place is really lacking in doing his job... he's probably a real jerk too. Wouldn't even bother to catch a falling woman."
During this whole talk the bartender gave them an odd look, especially the guy.

Silk blinked and raised a brow as the boy spoke to her. She stared at him unamused for a little while as he rambled and prattled on about this that and the other thing. Some might call her childish and immature, Silk preferred to look at it as... a healthy dose of she-doesn't-give-a-shit-about-what-other-people-think. It was just how it was. Even Marcus had trouble getting her to think like an adult. She looked rather bored soon after the boy had finished his little talk. "I can afford my own drinks. Dunno what someone like you might put in it. The last thing I need to do is go home stoned off my ass because some dude thought he could get some if he drugged me."
Can you believe people actually found this woman's rudeness endearing? Amusing even? It really has to make you wonder... what the fuck was wrong with these people? A sigh would leave her lips before she took another sip of her rum. "Besides, all that stuff is fine and dandy if you want to help people that way. I'm not knocking it. Good on you for being such a giving and considerate soul. However... I believe people still want to be able to smile and laugh in times where they think it is hardest. Find small amusement in some half naked girl shaking her ass near them or drink till everything that is said becomes a joke."
Silk said giving her own little speech. "I dunno... I'm sure the owner's an okay guy... if he is helping everyone out. Dunno why he'd have to catch a falling lady though. God... I hate that word lady... It just sounds so old. I can't count how many times I beat the crap outa someone for calling me a lady. Freaking retards." If her pets were with her, no doubt this would be the time that both the fox and the cat face palmed at their owners own idiocy. Silk could be very oblivious and today... she was VERY oblivious.

Oh man, Kiyoshi gave the bartender a look to check again if that was the woman's first drink because it sure didn't seem like it. Of course the return shrug told that it was the truth, which made him chuckle lightly to himself again. This girl was a trip to be sure.
"I've never drugged anyone in my life... except myself. Besides, she'd be making all your drinks, right in front of you."
Either way, he couldn't deny that her idea of helping wasn't needed in some aspect. It just seemed like a patch and not a legit fix. However there was one part that interested him in particular.
"That would also require finding girls who are willing to shake their asses around while half-naked... know any?"
Worth a shot, though Kiyoshi honestly can't believe she hasn't figured out who's lap she's sitting in but that just made it more fun at this point. He wondered how much he could dangle it out there before she caught on.
"Pfft... you don't even know the guy. I bet he's just on some power trip. Let's say, hypothetically, some woman just tripped in front of him. I say he'd let her fall and walk on by to continue doing whatever the hell some big shot like that does. The bartender agrees with me, right?"
The girl nodded slowly.
"See?"

Amazing to think that Silk was actually sober huh? Yea, back in high school people didn't believe it either. She glanced at him when he said that the bartender would be making all the drinks in front of her. Her brow rose slightly as she stared at him. She'd sit a little straighter in his lap and look him over before shrugging. "I could toss ya so I don't have a reason to be paranoid... but either way I'd still rather get my own drinks." Ah, the staple of Silk's thought process. Someone was always out to get her and she could always beat them up. The wonders of this woman's mind never cease.
"I don't mind it and while most girls don't like me, I'm good at convincing them to do it. I'm good at convincing most people to do anything." She shrugged as if it was a known fact. Really, Silk was more of a bully than anything. All her old friends either did stuff cause they feared her wrath or did things because she physically made them do it. A great example of the latter was her friend Arwen, sweetest little girl ever. Silk for her own engagement party forced her friend to dance on stage and then left the girl up there alone. Silk saw herself as great friend for that act. She believed Arwen's confidence rose.
When the guy started to talk about the owner, Silk's green eyes settled on him for a moment and then on the bartender. She was silent and her lips pursed in thought. Now as oblivious as Silk was, she wasn't stupid. She knew something was up. Just couldn't figure it out. This guy sure was obsessed with the owner and having girls fall. Silk would stare at him, silent for a moment before taking another sip of her rum. "Well, it sounds like you know the owner pretty well. What is he? Your Lover or something? Am I going to have an angry gay man out here mad at me for sitting on his partner's lap? Cause I can move. It is just really comfortable here."

"Fair enough."
Kiyoshi responded to the threat, if she wanted to buy her own drinks well that he couldn't stop her. Well technically he could but he wasn't about to make unnecessary effort to do so. Freedom, right? And she was free to turn down his generous offer.
"Oh really? That's a good talent to have."
Indeed. He wasn't too bad at doing that himself but he had slacked off in recent times for obvious reason. However it was something to keep in mind for later as she continued.
And things just got better from there on! Kiyoshi bursts into uproariously laughter at the questions. It was a first to hear something like that. After a moment, his laughing started to subside and he reached up to wipe a small tear from his eye.
"Sorry to break the hearts of men everywhere but I'm not gay. I also know for a fact he will not have a problem at all with you sitting in my lap, so don't worry about that."
Kiyoshi flashed a rather bright grin while the bartender just sighed in exasperation and shook her head.

And just like that the drink problem was solved. Silk got to keep buying herself drinks and didn't have to worry about being drugged. See, she always gets her way. When the boy said her ability to convince people of things was a talent, Silk smirked a little before sipping at her rum again. "Talent... yes..." She seemed to find some amusement in it being referred to as such. Still, it was what it was to her. Though one day, no doubt she would meet someone who wouldn't falter just because she snapped her fingers. Silk was kind of torn about that. On one hand she'd love for it to happen. It would give her a reason to flex a little pent up rage. On the other hand... who ever likes being told no?
She would glance at the man as he laughed about her comments about him being gay. He even teared up because he was laughing so hard and Silk became a bit annoyed. Not because she was offended by him laughing at her, no she was annoyed that her cushion shifted and moved so much during his fit of laughter. She would sip at her drink a bit more nearing the end of it. She didn't even seem to notice that though. "Pity... I have a room mate who might have liked you." She said fairly serious about it. That is right. Despite how much she teased Marcus and all his reactions. She often wondered if he might not be exaggerating to hide his secret sexuality from her.
After all, she only knew him to be with one girl and Silk didn't really think highly of the girl. She was more than glad Marcus had dumped the little bitch. At least Silk believed he dumped her. In any case... Silk questioned her room mates sexuality because she knew that since Kelsie he hadn't been with anyone. Of course in a normal person's mind that didn't mean he was gay. In Silk's mind... well lots of things weren't right and that was by far the smallest problem there. "Oh well, guess that means girls galore get to fawn over you... unless the owner of this bar is a woman and she owns you too. If that is the case then I think I'll stay on your lap much longer. I always did enjoy getting under other girl's skin."
Which wasn't a lie. Silk for many years couldn't understand why the girlfriends of her friends hated her and when she finally found out that they thought she was a threat well, she felt mighty proud of herself. She even found it amusing when the girlfriends got all huffy about it. It was just too bad for her that by the time she found all this out she had moved away from all her friends. Stupid Tenchi, just another reason for her to hate her ex.

"A tragedy to be sure."
Kiyoshi said rather sarcastically to the comment of the room mate. Beyond that he didn't have an opinion in the slightest on that situation, wasn't his business. However this woman's train of thought brought him to a very troubling predicament, one with two very appeasing options. On one hand he could lie and say the owner was a woman in order to urge the woman to stay right where she was or, two, he could continue to taunt around the fact that she hadn't realized he was the owner. Truly troubling, however it was unlikely she'd move even if the owner wasn't a woman and there was no way he'd admit to being owned. He'd already done that.
"Nobody owns me, sweetheart. I'm just too wild to be tamed."
That was true, at least as far as being tamed by another went. Recent events had caused him to tame himself more or less.
"Besides, the owner is a guy... Japanese I think."

"Too wild to be tamed?" Silk's brow rose for a moment as she stared at him. She took the last sip of her rum before motioning to have it filled again. For a moment Silk looked him over again trying to determine if it could possibly be true. The boy didn't seem to wild to her. Still, Silk would take his word on it and shrug a little. Once the drink was refilled she took another sip. At the mention of the owner being a guy and Japanese she set her drink down, and her right eye twitched. She knew way too many Japanese men in her life, she wasn't exactly sure she would want to know another one. "He isn't some tall blond Japanese boy with one blue eye and one green is he? Cause I might have to break him."
I know what you are thinking... she's terribly stupid OR she's more of a light weight than she thought. It's neither though. Just when she thinks about Japanese men, she sees Tenchi's face. Though as she glanced at the man whose lap she sat on she blinked realizing that he looked Japanese and she had, had her crushes on plenty of them so she noticed the subtle features that distinguished them apart from other Asians. "Or... I could be sitting on his lap." She smirked a little and laughed at her own obliviousness. "Hope you know I take nothing back about your bar. It's nice for what it does but it needs work."
