[Kyrie Blaze]

A foot shuffled against the ground as the blonde that looked like a young teen fidgeted. Mentally, she snarked at him for not getting it - it was so obvious! How could he not fall for the trap but not get the reference? - but blinked up with still-teary eyes.

It was when Mathew appeared that her head swung towards him and she blinked, then went chalk-white. That wasn't acting...but it was convenient. She pulled away and stumbled back a step or two, always edging away from the forest. Like any self-respecting, timid, fragile teen, she couldn't say 'rape', directly, and it was so much more tricky now that there were two people to dupe, but she drew a shaky breath in, appearing to bolster her confidence.

"He makes me do things f-for him. To him. To m-me. It's so gross! He-e makes me en-j-joy it." As if realization dawned, she started to cry anew but switched her wide-eyes back and forth between them, fearfully. "D-Don't do that to me..! Ple-ease don't!"

Rai looked back at Matthew.

"Look who finally showed up! Do you know how boring this place is alone?"

Then the words hit him from what the girl was saying and he was still unsure what she meant, prolly some kind of horrendous pizza torture.

"I would never do such terrible things like that!!!"

Mathew stayed silent, but his emerald eyes stared intently at the young girl. His face as blank as the stone he rose from. He paid no heed to the young man's words. He didn't care about that. But he would keep staring at Kiyr. Unblinkingly.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie flinched as Raikotsu raised his voice, her gaze wavering between the two. out of the two, Mathew seemed to unnerve her even more with his unblinking stare, and she reacted accordingly, moving one step back towards the forest before she stopped.

Her eyes turned back to Rai, wide and with a glimmer of hope, just like when she'd emerged from the forest.

"...r-reall-ly..?"

But she didn't approach either of them, the look on her face torn. A war between fear and hope. And always, she was wary of the forest. Her legs trembled slightly, knees knocking together just a little, as if they threatened collapse.

He continues to stare at her.

Rai looked at the girl backing away.

"Hey whats wrong?"

He would ask confused as to why she was backing away after asking for help.

[Kyrie Blaze]

It was only one step, and by all rights, Kiyr was acting terrified that they would 'rape' her, too. She relaxed her shoulders a little and wiped at her eyes.

"Just sc-cared. That's all. You don't know what it's like..." She shakes her head, eyes downcast.

Tugging on heartstrings by looking delicate and uncertain. And so very afraid, still. But at least she wasn't fleeing.

But Mathew WAS still staring. Though he finally blinked... BEFORE STARING MORE!

Rai's heart was nearly broken when he saw how the little girl looked and he felt that he should help her no matter what. He turned to look at Matthew.

"We've got to help her! We can't just turn down someone that is this hurt, she is obviously afraid of something..."

[Kyrie Blaze]

And that was Raikotsu, hook, line, and sinker. Kiyr's expression didn't betray her thoughts, even though she was looking down. She muffled a sniffle and reached up to brush at her tears again.

"I told you..." She murmured softly. "I've only managed to get away once or twice before, but never long. They never believed me, and he always came and took me back. It didn't matter if I hid or ran."

She swallowed, hard, and looked back up, rubbing the back of her knuckles gently against her eye.

The corners of his lips tugged up, just slightly.

"She's lying."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai looked between her and Matthew. Confused, how could this girl be lying?

"What do you mean she's lying? She doesn't look like it..."

Though as he was saying it he had learned not to questions Matthew and he backed up a little to give him some breathing room in case things went bad.

Kyrie's reaction was pretty quick, once it seemed like his statement set in. Her jaw dropped, and she stared incredulously for a moment before her eyes welled up with tears that started to spill over.

"I am not..!" She raised her foot as if to stamp it, lost her balance, and crumpled to the ground with a muffled sound of pain as her knees scraped the rocks and pebbles. She sniffed, bringing her gaze back up and truly looking hurt. "I don't lie!"

She acted.

"Ok, if you are not lying, then let me rephrase that. She is conning you."

He kept his eyes on her.

"It's how I started out back in the day."

Rai thought for a moment and had a hard time seeing Matthew look half as innocent as this little girl but at the same time he didn't challenge him on it.

"I see... Well I always was a sucker for the heart wrenching stories. So then, miss what is your real reason for being here?"
