Kiyoshi couldn't hide his surprise at the refusal, not everyday that someone turned down free supplies. The scout looked to his leader for a moment who gave a simple nod. It was taken as a retreat signal but the supplies remained out and ready. After a moment Kiyoshi gestured with his hand.
"Feel free."

Reira would dismiss the thought of the supplies from her mind. She would not like to strip someone else of their own needs for her own, espescially if she was not desperate at this particular moment. She doesn't register the surprise in his features, merely content with the contact with someone rather normal for a change. Being a solitary traveller does have its downfalls.
"I'd just like to ask for you name is all."
She gives him a warm smile before formally introducing herself again, without the yelling.
"I'm Reira Ling, originally from Philadelphia."
She extends her hand out for a friendly shake.

Kiyoshi accepted the handshake with a polite bow of his head.
"A pleasure. I am Kiyoshi Akechi, leader of the Crows. We are one of the groups vying for control of this city and trying to bring back civilization in some manner."
He would give a rather regal smile, one he'd begun to practice.
"And I would insist you take these supplies if you are to remain a solo traveler. These days are dangerous and you may have difficult finding such items in the future. I assure you, we have plenty."

The "Crows", huh?
"It's a pleasure to meet you Akechi-san.". It had been awhile she she had been able to use her Japanese, but she's assuming he spoke some judging by the name he had.
"That's an admirable goal, and I hope you succeed." she nods politely.
"I have to refuse, but if I may request that you send these supplies meant for me to the small community living in the area twenty miles south of here, then I would be forever grateful. They must be running low by now and they have children in their care."

"The pleasure is all mine."
Kiyoshi listened to the request, a simple hand signal for one of the scouts to remember the location. Favors were due reciprocation. To him, this world ran on fair trade for now.
"I will see it done, and to further extent as an extension of your kindness. Food. water. and medical supplies."
A quick bow of his head to affirm that he would deliver on his word.
"If I may ask... what do you plan to do now?"

Reira was touched by his kindness. She blinked a few times in surprise as her eyes widened. Medical supplies were even harder to come by and she was deeply touched by his offer.
She dipped her head in a low bow in thanks.
"Thank you so much~!"
The calm and rather polite Reira diminished lightly because of his gesture as a rather bright smile made its way to her lips.
"I keep moving, and I keep surviving. Perhaps I will be able to establish my own area one day, some place safe for people that want to take refuge in." she stretches her arms out in front of her alittle before relaxing her tense shoulders, "It's going a little slow, but at least there are the neutral areas that a calmer than the rest."

Kiyoshi shook his head to indicate the bow was not necessary. It was his job as a leader to look after the people, something his advisers had impressed upon him more recently.
"I see. A friend of mine had the same idea in Monica beach, along the coast. It is commendable."
He slowly rose from his seat.
"If that is what you wish, I hope for nothing but the best for you. Should you require assistance simply seek me out. However, if you find yourself tired of the solo road then simply make your way to the coast, Marina del Rey, and you will find the Crows. You would be welcome to join us."

Reira made a mental note of the area making sure to mark it on her map when she had the opportunity. Perhaps she would be able to help secure the area.
As Kiyoshi rose from his seat, Reira would as well bowing lightly in respect and habit.
"Thank you." she nods. "And if you ever require my assistance don't hesitate to ask."
Reira didn't want to particularly align or join groups, but that didn't mean she refused to help them either.

Kiyoshi bowed respectfully before heading for the exit with his men.
"Good luck to Reira."
With that the group departs through the backdoor to resume their scouting of the area.
