Shugo would stand up and hold his hand out to Reira. Shugo had just then decided on the name. He decided that the Paladins sounded too oppressive and too elite. He was quite partial to the name... The Defenders as well. Something he had remembered from high school. The Defenders was the name of everyone who had aligned themselves to protect the School. So now Shugo would consider anyone who wanted to stand and protect California and Long Beach a Defender.
"It's more of an honorary title that is. Defenders I mean. Seeing as it is just the two of us for now. But I hope to change that soon."
