'So he did quit. Thats good news.'
Malice looked at her expression when she spoke, his expression was a little puzzled in itself at the time. He hoped she wasn't testing it on herself, considering the pregency, but as it where he knew she couldn't do such a thing. He just analyzed all the angles.
"I'll do what I can to stop the current drug circulation. But someone didn't want anyone to find out about Zack's dealings. His office is trashed and his computer files are all gone. Except for a list of students in the correctional facility."
Alex knew Zaxk wouldn't leave his office in that much of a mess no matter how many all nighters he pulled. He was too... Odd to allow something like that. Yes, Alex thought Zack to be odd, but thats why they where such good friends, Alex couldn't predict Asiv.

Oki cocked an eyebrow, laughed at him, "If He thinks Oki is testing on herself- with her precious ones waiting, he is very incorrect. Smart men don't assume," she thought for a long moment, "and his image is one Oki has seen before."
She knew his face from somewhere- that one picture...yes. That..was the face of youth, this is face of some years. She nodded slowly, "Yes. Oki is happy to hear his descision. As per Zack's office..it's been unlocked and unattended for as far as Oki knows...his files..." she thought. Maybe those boxes of disks in the top of her closet? No. Couldn't be, "Oki cannot say or begin to guess who would want them...or how fast or long ago they were taken."
She gave a small shrug, slowly stood and softly grunted, she would be happy to not be pregnant soon. She sighed, made herself a fresh cup of tea, leaned against the counter and sipped at it. He was kinda...cute. NO BAD OKI. You like Jason now. Jason, Jason, Jason. But this one was so handsome too. BAD! BAD OKI! BAD OKI HORMONES! BAD! She smiled.

Alex laughed a bit when he was discovered in thought. She seemed to be able to pick up on things rather quickly, which was entertaining. He decided to change the subject though. Maybe it would be a better subject.
"So about those young ones? I take it theres more than one? How far along are you?"
Malice thought for a minute, if his deductions where true it could be an even worse subject, but he had already asked. That made him feel better about changing the subject. Geeze he was starting to think he was almost devoid of emotional standards for making people cry.

Oki wrinkled her nose, giving her stomach a small rub as she could feel them moving around...again. She laughed, "Oki is eight months along...almost nine."
She watched him over the rim of her cup, she'd only told a few people. Maybe this guy was honestly intelligent enough to put one and one together, regardless she continued- after grabbing a onigiri, "As far as the doctors have said: Oki is having twins," she laughed, "which is a good thing she's gained so much. But then again- Oki having been a gym instructor- she'll lose the baby weight in no time."
She took a bite of her onigiri and smiled, sipped some tea to wash it down, giggled, "Her agent will be so happy." Amber-brown rested on him, "A great deal of fun is coming up soon."

Alex watched, se seemed half in thought, but more talkative than anything else. Of course he kinda got stuck on how far along she was. He sipped on some water he got earlier and would respond, regular conversation was always good.
"Shouldn't you be taking a paid leave. You are expecting soon if your that far along. I'm sure you already knew that, but wouldn't it be best if you where at home getting ready?"
Yeah, he ignored the part about the agent, mostly because it didn't register in his head. He thought maybe a travel agency, cause pregnant woman can't take airplanes or something like that? Well for now he perferred his half ass ignorance.

Oki laughed, she held her glass with true poise and grace- no drop spilled as she moved as if he had made this amazing joke- sidesplitting infact. She finally giggled, shaking her head, "Oh- oh please excuse Oki!" another bought of laughter, "-but- ah-" she could barely hold it in.
It took her a good minute to calm down, and even then she giggled, "Oki couldn't take maternity leave!" She smiled broadly, "There's only a few instructors with enough medical experience to at least touch what Oki knows and can do." She nodded, "Not many know how to use a string and a ball point pen to sew a cracked skull- or to properly set a broken femur with nothing more than two notebooks."
She smiled still, giggled, "Oki can most certainly afford it, financially she could not be more secure from her modeling and book writing, but she likes being around the students a nd the staff."
She nodded, sipped her tea, "And as for preparations, Oki is more than set up."

Alex, blushed a bit. Laughed at? He hadn't had that in forever. Of course, he was usually pretty violant when under the influence of certain substances. But right now it was more embarassment. He felt like he said something wrong. But then she explained.
"Ohhhh. Ok, well, a model and everything huh? Sounds like your good to do whatever you want."
Alex's left eye became blood shot ever so slowly, and his right index finger twitched a bit. Some slight withdrawl symptoms. But he was so used to them it was like nothign was happening, so it would be harder to spot. If he didn't try to hide it, it would be like nothign was wrong at all.

She looked him over, watched him. Sad. She saw it. She knew what it was. She spoke simply, "Seems Zack wasn't the only one who participated in the fun and games," her eyes shimmering intuitively, "she hopes this is long term lack of those games. It wouldn't be much fun to tranquilize and put down the Supervisor."
If he didn't know what she meant by that, she had guessed wrong in his level of intelligence.
She was an ace at picking out things- with as much as she...it was best not to get into her past. One thing she had seen, was red eye- never used it, because it would have destroyed her chances at the top of the modeling tower. She grinned, tone changed, crossed her arms after setting her tea down, "Yes. Infact- Oki has been considering putting a substantial amount of money into the school...as a...tax deduction annnd charitable cause."

Alex dropped his smile when she saw the effects of him not taking any Red Eye for a while. He thought on his answer rather carefully while she went on. He would speak though, with finality.
"I said I'd stop the current flow of Drugs best I can. I'm not aiming to pass out anymore. This is my burden."
If he told the truth he had quit a while back, but once he heard Zack was dead, Alex decided it was time to get back into the game. If they where able to take down Zack, then whoever this enemy was they could take down even Gerret. But Alex was also suprised to hear Zeig was in that battle... They took down Zeig AND Zack... It was almost unbelievable in Alex's opinion.

Oki's eyes narrowed, she sucked in her facial cheeks for a moment and exhaled a soft breath- an expression she used with Zack...several times. Only to watch his dance about in explanation and finally get the answer she knew he needed to give. She doubted this would work with this man- but paddle was across the room and even if knocking some sense into this man was ideal. It was no possible in this instance. She exhaled another slow breath...almost like lamaze but this was her normal annoyed expression. Men. All of them. ...not just men, everyone had their faults.
But, she sighed, "Oki has no say in his choices, however- she cannot and will not takes the sides of someone who fails to set the same example he intends to lay for his students. Because they are now his students- if he doesn't take his dedication seriously, he can't expect to spend time in the nurses office if injured and be taken care of properly."
Yeah. A threat- small trivial. This man was above hitting a pregnant woman. She quietly hoped. She could defend- and at eight months...it would take a serious hit to lose the twins- she smiled, not darling, un threateningly, "Nor could he expect the rest of his staff to follow in suit of his mockery of the set example," she giggled, "Though Oki is certain she doesn't speak for the staff- as she's only the nurse...she believes many of them would feel the same way."
And slowly she closed her eyes for a slow, calculated blink, there was charm in this gesture..nothing much only enough to make someone consider if their mind and heart were eaisily swayed. It was...something she learned as a model, a skill that differed from model to model- a was of showing of 'true beauty', her's was in her physical humility, "There are many other ways to train the body- drugs are a crutch, they are disbelief in oneself to accomplish something. For no true human has limits, as long as we continue to say and believe 'I can.'"
And thus ended her speech.

He decided not to verbalize, but she was throwing around some pretty heavy threats. Threatening not to treat him and possibly mutiny. That was nice. This place was more hostile than he thought. Seems looks can be rather decieving. These people where rather quick to judge his chosen life style. After Zack split up the group Alex looked after himself. It wasn't his concern if she didn't treat him, he was used to kill or be killed.
"... And when a leg is broken, do we not use a crutch to make up for it? Zack and Zeig where the bones in my leg, without them a crutch is exactly what I need... I have kicked the habbit once before I can do it again. But after I find out more about Zack's death."
It would probably be obviouse by now that Alex accepted this job more so for revenge purposes. And he planned on taking out his revenge as soon as he could. For all his sensitivity to the subject he hated Red Eye. Made him feel insufficient as it was. Now he had a reminder that it only made up for what he lacked. It was admitting the fact that he DID lack that hurt his pride most of all.

Wow. It worked...to a point. Anyone who knew Oki, would know that her threat of...not doing her duty as a healer would never truely hold water. She gave him a sweet, gentle smile, "He doesn't seem to think his staff would assist him."
She sighed, why did she always have to let her mouth run, tears welled in her eyes- damnit, "He isn't as intelligent as she thought he was, if he intends to figure that out of his own."
Shaking her head, she washed her cup, then faced him once again, "One shouldn't depend on chemicals when there are more people around. Ones who would give their lives if necessary for an iota of information on why..."
She crossed her arms, eyes narrowed, she could feel her tears welling down the sides of her face again- big baby. Pregnancy made women big babies, and everyone just gave them room- because for some reason...it gave them a freebie to show emotion that would otherwise cripple someone. But don't worry, it's only the hormones, right?
"At vindicta bonum vita jucundius ipsa nempe hoc indocti," she told him. She sighed, "If he knows his Latin, he should understand it. Oki hopes he has more sense to use the people around him as opposed to wreaking unnecessary havoc on his body."
Shaking her head slightly, she closed her eyes, ground her teeth, "But again, Oki has no control over people- which she is glad for, too much stress trying to lead people down the path she thinks is best," her hand rested on her stomach and she sighed, "if he continues his path of self destruction, Oki may not like it- but as long as she can nag at him, she won't deny one of Zack's companions proper medical care...or give him a deaf ear."
