"It's stupid dark outside. Little fucker could pop up anywhere then. Unless you can make us a massive bonfire or something."
She grinned maliciously, the fire sparking off her blue eyes, turning her head slightly to look at Marcus. 'Could she make a bonfire'? Pfffft. That evil little smile would be all the answer he needed.
As she waited for Shadow to reappear, out of the corner of her eye she saw arms lash up and out towards the flamey guy Orion was fighting. She pivoted quickly, raising her knife to hurl it at the arms or the man being pulled into the shadows--
Too Late. They were gone.
"Bastard.... QUIT HIDING YOU COWARDS, COME OUT AND FIGHT US LIKE YOU MEAN IT!"
She growled low in her throat, bringing her knife back down to her hip as a voice laughed from all around them. She ignored it. Even though she could feel the rage beginning to build inside her, she was able to keep a lid on her anger.
She looked around. The roof had just caught on fire and the rest of the bar was quickly following suit. The heat had brought a sheen of sweat to coat what parts of her skin were exposed and made her hair stick to her face. The air was starting to scald her lungs, and she found she was taking a few more breaths than was necessary. Oxygen was low. They were at the center of the fire's combustion.
She smiled that sinister little smile again. Perfect.
"Cover me," she told them quickly, darting off in the opposite direction from the door and leaping the bar. She quickly began rummaging, hands snatching at any bottle of liquor she could find: two half empties of gin, one bottle of crappy whiskey, and...hey vodka!
Grabbing as many rags as she could find (the ones that hadn't already burst into flames anyway), she started jamming them in her pockets before sprinting to the entrance of the kitchen.
Sergei and Heather both turned, opening their mouths at Delilah's sudden appearance.
"Heather, out. Sergei, with me."
They obeyed, Heather leaving out the back entrance that Nigel and Talon were guarding and pulling them along. Delilah scrambled around behind the refrigerator and gave it a sturdy kick with her foot. It shot into the main room with an unhealthy scraping sound as the old thing rubbed against the floor, crashing into a couple of the over turned tables. It wobbled for a moment, as if unsure it would stay upright, and then it came to a rest.
With the fluid ease of a woman who has clearly done this before, Delilah jammed the rags she had gotten into the bottles of alcohol and lit them quickly in the flames that surrounded them. One by one, she would hand these to Sergei and point out front to where the rest of her and Marcus' teams were waiting.
"Establish a perimeter with those. Keep it burning."
"Yes ma'am." He took off to do just that, relaying the orders quickly to his comrades, grabbing whatever was lying around and was flammable and swiftly building pyres out of them and throwing the Molotov Cocktails on top of them to start the fires. Whether Marcus' team chose to help would be welcomed sincerely, but if not, it wouldn't rub anyone the wrong way.
Standing up quickly once Sergei left, Delilah would flick her eyes at the entrance Marcus had kicked in earlier, her metallic skin and hair glinting strangely with the reflected light of the fires.
"You two. Out. I have an idea."
And that was all she would say on the matter. There was no time for anything else.
The main idea, though, was to put Shadow and Flame in an awkward position here. It would be obvious that the refrigerator contained a 'surprise' of the sort that would be immensely difficult to diffuse, if not entirely impossible, especially with Delilah's close proximity to it. By separating, she forced them to chose whether or not to go after her in the firey death-room by herself, to go after Marcus and Orion, or to simply stay hidden in the shadows while the bomb exploded and vaporized these shadows.
They had scant seconds to make the decision.

Shadow and Flame didn't know what Delilah was cooking up but they had an idea of their own, since the building was burning down they got an idea. Suddenly the front door way was ignited the whole front area was surrounded in flames as from outside Shadow pulled Flame out of the shadows enough for him to burn away the entire front part of the bar it would be a... very painful exit if they should decide to run out this way definitely wouldn't walk away without several intense burns, this wasn't just a wall of flame but the floor and walls were covered well into the room with a lake of fire that ate greedily inward to consume the rest of the bar, the only safe exit now was the back where the pair would be waiting now out of the shadows arms crossed waiting for their prey.

'However way this is going to end, rest assured it shall end SPECTACULARLY!' Something about the devilish grin Delilah had answered him with filled him with confidence and dread in equal measure. "Oooooh, Woman that grin chills me blood it does!" Thank god HE wouldn't be the end target for whatever she was planning. Made him quite grateful he threw his chips in with the Crows, so it did!
Well to be honest, It was already worse than a bonfire inside. He could feel the smoke scratch his throat and sting his eyes as sweat began to collect off his brow. Still, they HAD to hit outside eventualy or risk suffocating and that meant that this blaze would have to get BIGGER if they were to stand a chance out in the dark night outside.
Fortunatly there was...THE PLAN!
"Bastard.... QUIT HIDING YOU COWARDS, COME OUT AND FIGHT US LIKE YOU MEAN IT!"
"OI! Stop Wasting Oxygen Kiddo!" Marcus snarled as he looked about himself, quickly taking stock. The bad guys were gone, The foot soliders were dead and Delilah was grabbing.......Booze and Rags?
"Establish a perimeter with those. Keep it burning."
'BRILLIANT!' Moving swiftly, he closed in on Fox and grabbed her by the shoulders, pointing out Delilah and her crew. "See that? Gather the others and follow thier lead!"
Fox opened her mouth as if to question, but instead frowned with a nod of her head, set out to collect the others. Each of them gathered a handful of booze and rags each before leaping out the windows. Once outside, Fox would find Dels team setting the area ablaze. Still alittle unsure, the crimson haired woman would begin directing traffic as she started dumping out the booze. "Ok, Croaker, Thistle. Grab Trash cans and dumpsters, wheel them over and set them off at each four corners of the building. Joe? We are going to walk a perimeter around and set off anything flamable." The responses were immediate. "Roga' Fox." "Let's make this quick guys. Fenris is still in there." "My GOD this is just like my fifteenth Birthday all over again!"
"..."
Back inside, Marcus would eventualy come to the realization that the freaks had exited the building. A Realization that made him curse up a storm before turning towards the others. "Our turn! We gotta get out before-" A massive burst of flame would suddenly blast through the windows and the front entrace. Marcus watched on in horror as the flames actualy ate through the material and stuck like napalm, effectively hemming them in and offering them only one exit. Coughing into his palm, Marcus fought the rising panic in his chest as he struggled to continue pumping oxygen into his lungs.
The bar exit was surely a trap. They would have to blast thier way out and there wasen't any blankets or shawls that they could soak, allowing them to run through the door. Someone was trying to get his attention on his radio, but the sound was lost in the roar of the flames. Thumping on his forehead with the crook of his index finger, Marcus began to pace. He could easily leap over the field of embers and flame and shoot out the door, problem was they would flash cook from the heat.
What he needed was a shield.
Turning his gaze to Delilah, Marcus found himself momentarily distracted as the flames reflected thier image off of the metal that sheathed Delilah's body. Wait a minute! Metal? Armor? The mans eyes went wide as the most audacious idea popped it's way into his skull. Running over, Marcus would grab the Raven haired young woman and press his lips against her ear, whispering franticaly for a few moments before pulling away. He could recognize shock and surprise all right. And who could blame her, it was definatly one of the most Psycho off the cuff idea's of which he was rather notorious for making.
He was worried she would protest. Instead she favored him with that same Devilish grin from before. A Grin the man couldn't help but mirror as he nodded and held up his hand for Delilah to grab hold of. Once she was secured, Marcus would suddenly whirl on Orion and grab him around the waist with one hand before tossing him over his shoulder. The plan was a simple one. Delilah would coat her body in as much metal as she could before latching herself to Marcus' Arm, allowing him to hold her infront of himself like a living shield.
Backing up to get a running start, his brain decided to be funny and suddenly notice that with her hair coated in metal, it made a most amusing tinkling sound like a wind chime. Also that it stung like a bitch when it poked him in the face. "Ready Lilah?"
Once he got an affirmative, Marcus would quite literaly crack the ground below him as he put all his strength into his starting leg before pumping them hard as he ate up the distance between himself and the door. Next thing he knew he was leaping out the door as the flames briefly licked him, making him flinch. Once outside he would release Orion off to the side and tuck into a roll with Delilah in his arms, Slipping his bomber jacket off as he came up to his feet in a crouch and wrapping it and his arms around her in an attempt to smother any flames that stuck to her.
Then he was forcibly reminded that metal conducted heat, which in turn caused the man to begin handling the smoldering woman like a hot potatoe, passing her from one hand to the other. "GAH! HothothothothothothotFUCKINGhothot!"

Orion felt himself be grabbed as fire consumed everything, and then the next moment he found himself outside, standing with a few flames licking his coat. He blinked. People were running around everywhere, and Marcus was juggling Delilah like she was hurting him.
Blink.
Juggling a person? Orion seriously underestimated how strong that man actually was. However... a scan of the area revealed no enemies. He decided to bring attention to this.
"Oi. Lovebirds. We're missing a few bad guys to deliver an ass-kicking too. Also, this is one bar destruction that was not my fault. Someone now owes me ten bucks."

Shadow would then come out of Orion's shadow and make a comment on what Orion had said.
"To be technical if you weren't here we would have never come here. Also it was because of you that Flame threw the first fire ball that would consume this place because you wanted to interrupt his dramatic intro that nobody really cares about."
He would back up from Orion just in case he should get the cute idea to attack him.

As Shadow ranted, Marcus gingerly tipped Delilah back onto the ground and shoved his hands under his armpits, the pain from the head setting his face into a teeth grinding grimace. He began to almost whimper as he paced back and forth, trying hard to will the throbbing pain in his hands to stop.
"OH FOR FUCKS SAKES LIGHT THAT SUNOVABITCH UP NOW!" He roared, almost doubled over even as he paced back and forth. A moment later a full volley of Molotov Cocktails would rain towards the dastardly pair.

Shadow jumped back into a shadow while Flame just lit himself on fire laughing.
"This the best you got old man?!"

Being on fire and busting through a wall of flame while encased in metal is rarely on a girls to-do list, but it was happening so she rolled with it. The fire wasn't kind, though. Even though her hair was covered by her Qi, as well as any vulnerable areas that probably shouldn't face the flames, she couldn't quite cover all of herself, including her clothing, which promptly caught fire. The rest of her that wasn't metallic also received a contact burn from where the metal met the rest of her. FFF--shit, that hurt.
The pain wasn't the worst thing she had ever felt: the knife wound that cut a straight line between her breasts and to her navel had felt like cold fire separating her skin and muscle. The scar was still pink, the stitches freshly removed...but this was a different kind of pain, the kind that was a constant heat that seemed to permeate from within, making her flesh crawl. These areas would probably blister later.
Marcus rolled with her as soon as they were out of the fire, whipping off his bomber jacket to put her out. As touching as that was, it was precisely the 'touching' she wanted to avoid.
"MARCUS, DON'T--"
Aaaand now he was juggling her.
"GAH! HothothothothothothotFUCKINGhothot!"
AAAAAND now she was being jostled on top of the hurting burny pain emanating through her, which only served to aggravate her burns further. Though it wasn't all Marcus' fault; her own hands were slapping senselessly wherever she felt the flames licking her. To her credit, her shirt was only minorly destroyed on the back this time. It should hold up for the rest of the fight. One of her pant legs had gone up in smoke, unfortunately, revealing her old Militia tattoo -- a side profile of a howling black wolf.
"Oi. Lovebirds. We're missing a few bad guys to deliver an ass-kicking too. Also, this is one bar destruction that was not my fault. Someone now owes me ten bucks."
But the bar wasn't even DESTROYED yet, and her little plan had yet to explode take effect...
"To be technical if you weren't here we would have never come here. Also it was because of you that Flame threw the first fire ball that would--"
"OH FOR FUCKS SAKES LIGHT THAT SUNOVABITCH UP NOW!"
As the molotovs arced toward the pair, Delilah saw one of the shots go a little long, landing with a crash inside the window of the bar. Her eyes widened. She grabbed Marcus and Orion by the back of their shirts, hauling them back a few paces and yanking them towards the ground.
"DOWN!!"
Her team knew a command when they heard one. They hit the deck.
KA-BOOOOOOOOM
The propane tank inside the refrigerator would act like shrapnel within an incendiary grenade, though of a much larger scale. The Molotov would be the final push to ignite the gases trapped within the refrigerator, causing the tank to explode, sending bits of metal and plastic flying in all directions as well as a large gout of flame that evaporated all shadows nearby in the flash heat of the flames, sending plumes of still burning smoke high into the air. The rush of fire trying to consume more oxygen would enhance the explosion, blowing out the walls and what was left of the glass of the building. The sheer heat from the fire would pass over any who were lying flat on the ground, only resulting in minor burns. Someone less lucky might actually catch fire.
The explosion, would leave everyone's ears ringing, for sure, but for their little Barker assailants, who were nearer to the blast than they...how would they fare now? Whether or not they actually got hurt by the blast or if they managed to evade the flames all together (the combined molotovs and the explosion should have created enough light to evaporate the shadow in the area), the purpose of the bomb may not have been completely met, but it was no less effective:
A large bon-fire had been created to eliminate shadow in a certain range. The burning perimeter solidified that.
Delilah would slowly get to her feet, the heat and light from the bar causing her skin to blister slightly, made it ache where she was already burned. She shook her head to clear the ringing from her ears, a silly grin on her face.
"That will do nicely." She would gesture to the other tow and jog back towards the burning bar, the flames now reaching a good four stories as it consumed the entire building. her back to the fire, they now had a base to set themselves against to prevent any more damn sneak attacks.

Flame wasn't expecting the explosion had it just been fire he would have been fine but the shrapnel and concussive forces did him in he went flying away from the building with many parts of the building embedded in his chest taking him out of the game.
Shadow that had jumped back into Orion's shadow and smirked didn't matter how much light you had unless a man could start glowing there was no way he would be completely rid of a shadow for him to hide in.

Shadow hid in Orion's shadow. Or would try to. Oh hell no. "You think I'm a good place to hide? Well guess what, ever since I stopped being human..."Orion would cast off his hooded cloak, now with his glow at full strength. You'd have to squint a little to make him out, but if you did, you would see a semi-maniacal grin on his face. "SURPRISE, BITCHES! I'm a glowing Experiment!"Cue stab at the throat of the guy probably caught off guard by his opposite, wielding a halberd that was also covered in Orion's blue light. It's on bitch.

Shadow was shocked to say the least, a glowing human, Barker never said anything about there being anyone with opposite powers than him. He was immidiately kicked out of the shadows and would begin to burn his skin looking as though it was be fried by the fire. The glowing man in front of him emited light from the same origin that his powers of darkness came from driving away all the shadows around him. His skin began to blister and he screamed in pain as he slowly shriveled into nothing but a pile of ash. That being all she wrote for the deadly duo... One bar destroyed 4 barkers soldiers and 2 experiments killed. This had been a long night indeed. Darc picked himself off from the rooftop putting away his binoculars he brushed himself off.
"Hmmm... So my experiments weren't strong enough this round... Well I'll be sure to improve upon the next batch then."
"Sir?"
One of the barker soldiers next to him asked not seeing what had happened he and his men were just her to babysit the good Dr, nothing more.
"Oh, nothing. Come on boy's time to head home.
And with that they climbed down from their perch and headed back to one of their facilities, Darc would have to start his research on improvement now if the next batch were going to be strong enough to handle people as strong as the ones he just saw.

Covering his eyes with a forearm, Marcus took a step back as Orion put on the light show. By the time his eyes had adjusted, Shadow was already burnt to a whithering crisp.
"Well fuck me ridged......." Marcus muttered under his breath as he surveyed the surreal scene before him. The heat from the inferno the Bar had become washed over his entire front, heating his exposed skin, making him feel uncomfertable enough to take another few steps back. The light from the blaze exposed his hands which were now puffy and an angry shade of red. A glaring reminder of how he let sentimentality go to his head, putting both himself and Delilah at risk.
'No time for reflection now.....' Putting his fingers to his lips, Marcus blew a shrill note, immediatly getting the rest of the wolfpacks attention. "Secure the area. I don't want any surprises." An affirmative nod would be his only responce as the wolves turned and melted into the darkness, combing the area and climbing thier way to vantage points. This just left Delilah, her crew and Orion. Turning to them, Marcus put his hands on his hips and gave them an appreciative nod of his head. His lips still set in a grimace from the pain in his hands.
"You guys just saved me and mine a shit ton of trouble. We've been hunting those bastards ever since they crossed into no mans land." Marcus definatly did NOT want to give Barker the impression his men could move around the city with impunity. Especialy so close to his own zone of influence, what was previously the Military zone, now the Crows military zone.
"And Orion, Jesus FUCK since when could you GLOW!?!?!?!?"

Everything after the explosion happened so quickly; the fire wielding Qi man died from the shrapnel in the explosion (hurray for home-made bombs!) and Shadow was quickly defeated by Orion with his super-human glowey-powers that vaporized the stronger Qi user.
As the man's dying screams faded along with his body, Delilah disengaged her Qi, sinking to her knees and letting her body shudder as the metal sank back into her skin. It hurt to let her body go from zero to sixty like that, only to have the switch flipped back off not a scant few minutes later. Everything going on around her was at a dull roar, coming to her ears as though underwater. Her vision was blurry. The red hot flesh on her wounds still seared with pain, the top layer of skin already beginning to sizzle and bubble. She grit her teeth and her body flexed for a moment as she let herself feel the pain in all aspects, trying to deal with all of it at once.
After a moment, her shoulders sagged and Delilah would rise to her feet, composure and discipline back in place. Her team would have ran off with Marcus' to ensure the perimeter was swept in lieu of their own commander's orders. She turned her gaze to Orion and Marcus, sweat causing her pale, scarred skin to bleed in the light of the fire.
"And Orion, Jesus FUCK since when could you GLOW!?!?!?!?
Delilah let out a breathy laugh, shaking her head at Marcus."A friend of yours?" she looked Orion up and down apprasingly, nodding as if to herself. Both of them were trouble makers with a penchant for fighting. Made sense to her. She took a few quick strides towards Orion, holding out a callused, oil-blackened hand for a shake, smiling pleasantly.
"I'm Delilah Black, First Crow, Public Liason, Domestic Officer, Head Engineer, Commander of Tengu and Sniper of 'Militia'." if he took her hand, she would clasp it firmly in both her hands, bowing at a shallow angle before releasing. If not, she would simply let her hands drop down by her sides. "It is an honour to meet you, Orion of the Free Experiments,"
Her grin widened a little further.
"And I don't believe we finished our fight."

"And Orion, Jesus FUCK since when could you GLOW!?!?!?!?"
Orion dimmed the light show, turning back to Marcus and...
"I'm Delilah Black, First Crow, Public Liason, Domestic Officer, Head Engineer, Commander of Tengu and Sniper of 'Militia'."
Apparently a high ranking Crow. Useful. Orion would take her hand, thinking to shake it, only for her to take it in both hands and bow. Orion's eyebrow quirked. A japanese custom? Curious people.
"It is an honour to meet you, Orion of the Free Experiments. And I don't believe we finished our fight."
Orion grinned at them both.
"Who to answer first... well, I suppose the more formal one. Wait your turn Marcus. I figured you were someone important, Miss Black. People of your ability are not nameless nobodies here. A high-ranking Crow... we'll talk. And we didn't, but I have you at an advantage at the moment, which I find unsporting. Perhaps a rematch at a later date?"
This calmly said as he patted out the fire on his jacket. It was true though; the heat didn't make him uncomfortable as it did the other two, and the only thing burnt was his jacket, due to the other twos efforts and Flame's incompetence.
"As for my glowing... I always have glowed, Marcus. I just normally wear this cloak of mine-" Pause to grab up said cloak and don it again "as it is the same color as my glow, and thus dulls it. Plus, I generally keep it tuned down, as it is... discomforting, for normal humans. End result, it's barely noticeable. It is merely one of my many "quirks" that was the end result of Experimentation I underwent in New York, at 552."
He turned to the flames, his back to the other two.
"Well, that's quite the message to Barker. Any chance of heading to a more safe place so we can converse? You two seem quite uncomfortable."
Quite nonchalant as his halberd is upon his shoulder, turning back to the other two.
