Finally reaching his destination of California, sider smiled, it had been a long journey and he had finally arrived. sweating and blood-stained sider fell to the ground exhausted, hoping a local would help him out.

Rai laughed and offered the stranger his hand.

The slight figure slid back silently beneath the wreckage she had been running through. She was far enough away she wouldn't be noticed, and even if she wasn't, neither of them could hear her, anyway. She slipped quietly away, like a wraith through the shadows, easily keeping ahead.
Far, far ahead.
