OOC: Stu is part of Crows but wasn't made part of the total troop tally. With 32 Charisma, he's with an additional 10 Crow NPCs.

Also, I was mistaken in my post: the trucks carrying and unloading oil barrels are actually oil tanke trucks, as per Stu Pott's post... so there will be an explosion.

I apologize for any errors in the mapping. I also apologize for the length... but this contains a summary of the entire thread so far. Please let me know if there are any discrepancies, but the posts should get shorter so long as posting order/round order is respected.

Battle Summary So Far

• Delilah arrives back with her entourage, the alert on high of Barker's invasion incoming.
  
  
• Back-up plans to evacuate the civillians begin and appear to run smoothly.
  
  
• The Crows (69 Crow Organization NPCs + PCs + PNPCs) begin to assemble as Barker's forces (240 Undetermined Troops) March Upon Crows Territory, Towards The Crows Nest.
  
  
• Kiyoshi assembles the vanguard and spreads within a line where Barkers soldiers would march through mostly quickly and directly to the Crow's Nest. The lines of battle are drawn with two collapsed buildings (Impassable Terrain) flanking both forward sides to both forces.

  • Kiyoshi rallies the Crows.
    
    
  • Delilah arrives with her specialized troops (Tengu Company). She rallies her company and rules of engagement. Delilah and Tengu Company arrive to the front lines... (Flank? Specified later.)
    
    
  • Marcus and his men, along with Silk's troop support, equipping themselves quickly take a truck from the Northern Crow compound and begin heading on their way down, briefly informing Kiyoshi & "Unfettered" via blue tooth of their coming.
    
    
  • Barkers' forces are ordered to then begin marching straight towards and engage the Crows formation.
    
    
  • Kiyoshi initially signals the entirety of the Crows army to hold formation, letting Barker's force move in closer, so as to make them expend more of their energy.
    
    
  • Stu moves in with his troops from the Crows Nest, moves in front of the assembled Crows' forces with his unit.
    
    
    
    
  • Stu employs the start of a firewall tactic with two of the Crows under his command being sent into oil tanker trucks. The two beginning driving across the battlefield after the initial charge of the first wave of Barker's forces.
    
    
    
    
  • Two of the four formations on the outer part of the overall (with sixty troops each, one hundred twenty total) of the Barker Forces begin to rush forward, leaving the center Barker forces to observe. The two would have traversed through roads and one building if taking the most direct route. Many of the upfront Barker troops would be enthused to try and tackle the first person they saw!
    
    
  • "Unfettered" moves with his personal guard from the Crows nest to the Left Flank to reinforce Ken Tanner's position. He rallies... with speakers so as to draw the attention of Barker's forces to the voices as opposed to the "movement" of trucks and other "troops" and charges to engage the Western most (map-wise) charging Barker forces.
    
    
  • They arrive and are waiting, unbeknowest to anyone.
    
    
  • Delilah issues orders and most of her forces are moved closer to "Unfettered" and his vanguard, spreading her force to also have Nigel personally guard Kiyoshi.
    
    
  • The Firewall Strike team drives through, behind the two Barker waves, unloading their payload of gasoline. As they do, they deliever all of it and then, running a safe distance, ignite their loads, lighting the landscape on fire, creating a literal wall of fire, incinerating any Barker soldiers still on the gasoline line. They then move in to reinforce Stu's unit.
    
    
    
    
  • Engaging in melee with his unit, Stu then makes his way to the left flank.
    
    
  • Kiyoshi takes the Vanguard with him, with the Heavy Infantry in the front and the Melee guarding the Vanguard's immediate rear and unleashes his special powers upon the charging Barker soldiers. Specific Spartan-esque spear-and-shield tactics are employed to dispatch of Barker soldiers as they advance.
    
    
    
    
  • The Crows main force initially backs up as Kiyoshi's forces, giving berth to Barkers' charging forces' advance. They create a good shield of vision.
    
    
  • Presumably, either during "Unfettered's" speech, the fire wall's igniting, or the retreating of the main Crows' forces, the overall Cavalry would move their totallity to the right flank, by the Hoods. In direct correlation to the Crows Main force "retreat," the overreaching Barker forces are then struck by the Calvary, as the Cavalry forces charge/drive from the right flank (from the Crows' point of view on the map) utilizing their bikes and their prepared or improvised weapons, behind the firewall, at the first wave. They would finish their "charge" presumably in the Crows' left flank, where Ken Tanners, Delilah A. Black, Stu Pott, and "Unfettered" Winters are currently attacking from.
    
    
    
    
  • Mr. Asiv appears on the battlefield in his wheelchair, presumably in the center of the overall Crows' formation. Five of Barkers' elite men make for Mr. Asiv, ignoring the Crows' forces and being otherwise ignored. As they ignored the fire and went forward without deviation, these five men would be incredibly burned by the gasoline fire, provided they survived (which they did, presumably).
    
    
  • With the first wave of Barker's forces presumably in dissary, the bulk of the Crows' main force would charge forward into the melee, through the cracks. Casualties: 120/240 Barker Soldiers, 13/28 Crows' Main Force.
    
    
  • After presumably wiping out the first wave, the 13 Crows then move forward to go and loot 120 bodies as quickly as possible.
    
    
    
    
  • Marcus Prasad and his forces would arrive in the North-East of the map, probably a little bit beyond the map. They would drive on through, as the Fire Wall would begin to die.
    
    
    
    
  • Delilah would continue defending the left flank alongside Stu Pott, being aided by the Left Flank Force and "Unfettered's" 2nd Supplement Force. Tengu Squad would utilize their equivalent to cheap "chemical warfare" on the incoming second wave of Barker forces, inducing varying ailments from itchiness to temporary blindness, etcetera (Read Delilah's post's second section for further details). Tengu Squad also utilizes their specialized throwing devices to ignite a chain-reaction that keeps the dying firewall to last a little longer, engorging the initial vanguard of Barker's second wave in a fresh flood of intense heat and flame, presumably killing and destroying many.
    
    
  • Barker orders his remaining 120 troops to CHARGE THROUGH THE FIRE WALL and fight the Crows' forces. Many of the underequipped or untrained soldiers would presumably before they even got close to the Crows' forces.
    
    
  • All of Crows troops would return back to their starting positions...
    
    
  • The entirety of the Crows Main Force (the obvious of course being excluded from this categorical grouping), now with looted Barker equipment at their disposal, charges to meet the Barker forces. The Calvary is made to charge again.
    
    
  • The Barker Enforcer Captains step forward onto the battlefield as the fire begins to die on down, announcing loudly that the Barker troops that the Crows have been fighting were all prisoners in an attempt to dishearten the Crows resolve by inducing guilt.
    
    
  • While this may have been an attempt to dishearten the Crows, most of the Crows have already been prepared to show no quarter, their year's worth of training under both veteran Militia as well as recruited military veterans would probably prove to grant them better resolve and discipline.
    
    
  • The five Enforcer Captains march forward, behind the firewall.
    
    
  • Kiyoshi would use his Qi to create a shrouding cloud about him and use one of his special abilities to presumably fly over the fire wall and begin his assault on the Five Enforcer Captains, with the intent to kill all of five of them... Though the risk of his vanguard being left behind is high.
    
    
  • The Fire Wall would presumably finally be extinguished, with all the fuel and the powder finally being consumed.
    
    
  • Though a figure would "appear" behind "Unfettered" and his Militia unit, the mysterious figure with the black umbrella would also be behind Ken Tanner's forces, and behind the Umbrella Man would be the remaining Crows troops as well as the rear guard. Presumably the Umbrella Man would have had to walk all the way around the wreckage and unpassable terrain to the left, which would be several miles... and would be unaccosted for the time, as "Unfettered" would be alerted of him. The Crows forces would be ordered not to engage this man... yet.
    
    

"Unfettered's" Post:

His body followed through and pulled back into his original position, literally, slashing off the blood and watching it pool nicely, hop-scotching against the blacktop and pooling nicely. He swung his blade lightly in front of him, watching the afterimages... his guard watching as he did so... and the Barker forces that fell.

His body was so strong... so fast.

'Was this what it felt like to be a Dragon?'

"Unfettered's" body sweated with the adrenaline and the black canister's contents that flooded his bloodstream, screaming power into him, filling him with an awful euphoria that made his body want to scream... with a capacity that it was not used to utilizing.---

---A ding sounded off in his blue tooth. A private line was radioing in to him. The German grinned.

*“We are waiting.”*

The German smiled more broadly to himself, as though speaking to no one in particular... speaking on the private line so that no one else would hear him.

*"Understood. Hold position.*

*"'Teal'... Are the packages ready?"*

*"Ja, zey are on standby. Recording as previously ordered.*

*"Copy zat. Our unit compositions und their coordinates are..."*

Quietly, remaining still, the German would rattle off all of the Crows current positions and all observable details... when another voice crackled through on the public channel. The German immediately pressed, zeroing in on the public line.

*"---We gotta end this now."*

*"Hold fast, Stu. Ve are only in ze first few minutes of combat. Radio in your forces' position to me---oh, there du are."* he would look to his right over to Stu and his forces had appeared several dozen yards to the right flank of Delilah's Tengu Squad.

...Who had.... begun throwing all sorts of varying powders and irritants into the incoming Barker forces. The German watched the fire throughout the line rise back up in intensity as it was fed, destroying several dozen more of the Barker Forces that were forced to charge haphazardly into it.

...He watched as Delilah and most of the front line forces would begin to chop up fiery, running corpses... delivering mercy kills more than anything with each elegant slash, hit and attack.

*"And that's why you hired me."*

*"One of ze best investments Ich made in ze last... five years? Kekekekekekeke..."*

The German sword was a katana, and therefore a weapon used for slashing, but had otherwise utilized a mostly improvised form of it---its only saving grace in this combat would be that most of the Barker forces were not wearing plate armor or something of a denser protection... but that would not mean that the German would charge foolhardy in with the front lines as he would... but would stalk behind Delilah and Stu's troops, covering them as need be alongside Ken Tanner and his Hunters. The man would wait with his guard, and primarily watch with brimming amusement at the lethality with which Delilah and Stu Pott would dispatch the initial waves of the Barker forces.

These men that Barker sent towards them... they all fell apart before the Crows onslaught at a disturbily quick rate. Ken Tanners and his Hunters were quick to dispatch anyone that made it behind Delilah and Stu Pott and their accompanying men, leaving "Unfettered" and his personal guard mostly unattended to.

*"Sir! It appears as though... Mr. Asiv was seen appearing next to Barker himself and has just been captured!"*

'WHAT!?'

*"Received loud and clear. If he's that far behind enemy lines... that we can only trust that Mr. Asiv himself planned on doing so. What's happening now?"*

*"Sir! It appears that Mr. Asiv and Barker are leaving the field of battle!"*

It was a strange time for "Unfettered." He stood there, Katana in hand, his other hand pressed into his blue tooth as he surveyed the battlefield. He could not see beyond the buildings... but looked to where the report was indicating towards... from where the throng of Barker Soldiers had rushed through from. His voice was... strangely calm.

*"Then... it vas as he intended. Continue to follow Kiyoshi's orders und hold ze lines!*

*"Right Flank Force is to hold position under ze 'guard' directive und act as our Eastern Reserves! Be ready to reinforce ze Vanguard Force at a moment's notice! All other forces, continue vith present orders!*

His guard, the 2nd Supplement Force... had not moved since the initial bloodshed of the battle.

He continued to witness the radioing in of Kiyoshi's orders... and watched looking ahead to see, as another figure was radioed in...

*"Sir! It appears as though Marcus' Northern Troops have arrived! You should see them driving through the firewall relatively soon!"*

...When a man with a booming voice, his commanding voice would boom between the two buildings before them.

"Thanks, been meaning to execute those prisoners for quite some time."

The Crows were killing prisoners. It made sense.

"---Yeah it is pretty sad... Though boss said to leave no survivors."

It sounded like the voice was talking to someone... but it was as though the voice itself was specially augumented. "Unfettered" himself could not hear anything or know that Kiyoshi was conversing with the bodiless voice until he heard Kiyoshi's next set of radio orders.

*"Del, you better watch Stu. They have their way, this it'll be it for him. Stu... everyone else, give em hell."*

Over the com, the German listened in relative silence and Kiyoshi pre-set orders for the Calvary to make another sweep on this next group... before turning to his right. He frowned. They (The Crows) were spread much to thin, where they not? The Black Hoods had thankfully seen no action and were otherwise acting as a precautionary. The total of the Rear Guard had naught to worry about either...

...Until a Crow radioed in on the German.

*"Sir! There's a man approaching from the back left flank! And it looks as though Kiyoshi is going to engage what appears to be a group of Enforcers! They look incredibly tough, as per your provided details sir!"*

The German would wave his hands, gesturing his guard to cover his front as he turned around... and he looked at them.

...One more time, he pressed into his blue tooth. Was it time to... test the power of this Black Canister? The amount of control over his body was... so incredible. It scared him.

Was this a man sent to specifically assassinate him? He narrowed his gaze at the man with the black umbrella and licked his lips, his body ready to act in his defense at a surprising moment's notice.

*"Ich vant ze Right Flank Forces to move in und reinforce Kiyoshi's Vanguard! As soon as the fire clears, wait on his mark to reinforce him!*

*"Ken Tanners, resume position as ze Left Flank Force and guard the front lines of our left! Stu, Delilah, Ich vant du to take your forces... und destroy corner stones und supports of ze left side of ze building in front of us und ze building to ze right's as vell. Make zem crash und create for us a funnel---Ich vant us to only have to vorry about guarding ze Vanguard! Get Marcus to reinforce du if possible! Can you comply?"*

*"All Crows... Ich will be assessing und perhaps dealing vith ze man behind ze Left Flank Forces..."*

The German turned to the man who had approached them and walked towards him... reducing the space between them to ten feet. All other Crows about them, regardless of affiliation gave the German and this newcomer a berth of about ten feet.

The Katana was pointed down at the ground, the German's hand ready to flip the edge of the blade instantly at the man. With a tilt of his head, and a raise of his left hand, he gestured towards the man.

"Du are?"

Quick rundown of my post for easy reading.

-Delilah is ultimately unaffected by the idea of killing prisoners as her life is in danger.

-Takes Talon and Nigel with and Stu to complete "Unfettered"'s task of bringing down the most Westerly and Easterly buildings, attempting to illicit help from Marcus in bringing down the latter. NOTE THAT CAIN STAYS BEHIND WITH "UNFETTERED"'S ENTOURAGE.

-Activating her Qi (Final stats and information are in the spoiler below), Delilah, Stu, Talon and Nigel topple the West building by eliminating load bearing support on that side.

-Escaping the building virtually unharmed, Delilah and crew (excluding Stu, he can do as he likes) will return to the fray until otherwise instructed. Delilah has a tactical idea that may work for the new killing lane, however, and makes this known to "Unfettered" when he is available to hear the idea.

Delilah chuckled darkly in return as she and her knives danced through the wave of Barker soldiers, cutting down all who stood in the path of her and Stu. Occasionally, as she pivoted and spun, she caught glimpses of "Unfettered" and his men engaged in heated battle behind her. It brought a weird flavour of battle-joy to her heart as she fought alongside the most important people in her life.

She didn't have very long to dwell on it, though, as the next apparent soldier came to take her life. She cut him down with a slash to his kidney, cutting it in half and giving him a very painful but quick death.


"Thanks, been meaning to execute those prisoners for quite some time."

WHAT?!

"---Yeah it is pretty sad... Though boss said to leave no survivors."

In that one crucial, careless moment of hesitation, Delilah was tackled to the ground by one of the men rushing them. A moment later, three others rushed in on top of them. She snarled as she fought to regain control, cutting indiscriminately with her knives, burying one in the eye socket of the man who initially attacked her, urgently trying to get back to her feet. It only took ten seconds, but that was more than long enough to change the course of any fight. The men who assaulted her lay slashed to ribbons in a loose circle as her breath came hard and fast from her lungs.

Ground fights were always tiring.

If Stu looked to her to see if she was alright, there would be a growing welt just beneath her left eye and she was now drenched in blood that wasn't her own. Delilah would give him a moments smile and nod before returning to their grim work.

Of course they're prisoners. What a coward.

The raven haired woman's resolve was undaunted, however. Even before she had hardened her heart and decided to give no quarter, she wouldn't have backed down anyway. It was simple: people were attacking her and her life was in danger. When it came down to her life and the lives of those she cared about compared to that of the person trying to end hers, the choice was clear.

*"Del, you better watch Stu. They have their way, this it'll be it for him. Stu... everyone else, give em hell."*

Delilah took a quick glance around only to see she and Stu had become separated during the fight. "Roger," A snarl curling her lips, she made her way towards him, cutting a swath between her and the people who came too close to the mechanic's knives until the pair were once again back to back, ruthlessly cutting down those in their path against before the next set of orders came in over the headset. Delilah would listen attentively even as she fought tooth and nail against the ongoing tide of Barker prisoners.

*"Ich vant ze Right Flank Forces to move in und reinforce Kiyoshi's Vanguard! As soon as the fire clears, wait on his mark to reinforce him!*

*"Ken Tanners, resume position as ze Left Flank Force and guard the front lines of our left! Stu, Delilah, Ich vant du to take your forces... und destroy corner stones und supports of ze left side of ze building in front of us und ze building to ze right's as vell. Make zem crash und create for us a funnel---Ich vant us to only have to vorry about guarding ze Vanguard! Get Marcus to reinforce du if possible! Can you comply?"*

*"All Crows... Ich will be assessing und perhaps dealing vith ze man behind ze Left Flank Forces..."*

Delilah cast a worried glance over her shoulder and fought a brief battle between her duty and her desire to go and help her oldest friend. Duty won out as it usually did and she let out her frustration against the next unfortunate man who crossed her path, neatly ripping his windpipe out of his throat and kicking him into the next three who rushed her and Stu.

"...Roger," Gesturing for Stu to take point, Delilah would start off towards the left hand building, it being closest to where they were. While her love handled the bulk of the horde, she rattled off instructions into her own ear piece.

"Talon, Nigel, get over to the building on the West side of the front line. Cain, I want you to stay right where you are. Cover Zero Winters' back and flank and only step into his fight if absolutely necessary. Copy?"

"Yes, Ma'am,"[/i]

"Roger."

"-sigh- COPY."

She smiled thinly, but moved on to the next task as they neared the entrance to the building, the cogs in her brain working a mile a minute. "Marcus, do you read? We need the Eastern most building to come down on the EAST FACING SIDE to funnel their forces through the centre. If you could lend us a hand, it would be very appreciated."

As she and Stu approached the building, Talon and Nigel came up from their former positions (The roof and as part of Kiyoshi's guard respectively) to follow quickly behind them as they entered the building.

The building was three stories high and constructed in the past year: meaning it was a rough-shod construction of a multipurpose building, made with stone, large sheets of metal, salvaged car and airplane parts and whatever else the people could find to build homes for themselves. The top floor was housing for several families (that had been long since evacuated), the middle a clinic and the main floor where they stood appeared to have been used as a distribution centre for food and supplies.

There was a brief pang of guilt as she thought of destroying all this hard-won work before pushing it aside. She had priorities.

Delilah looked around hurriedly, eyes wandering the large room as she tried to pinpoint using something, anything to bring the building down. Time was of the essence; she didn't have time (and more likely than not, lacked the resources) to form a complicated bomb with household chemicals. The engineer part of her mind took over as she pinpointed the load bearing pillars that held the building aloft. On the West wall, one was a slightly rusted steel beam, the other was a thick timber that looked like it had once been used as a billboard sign.

"Stu!!" Delilah pointed at the wood part of the wall on the North side of the building, indicating that was the place to start. Nigel and Talon would immediately go to help him destroy the pillar. Delilah didn't want to level the building, she wanted it toppled right over to the side. Activating her Qi, Delilah moved over to the steel beam, feeling stronger than ever before. Strength flooded her and made her inner hell-seeker purr in delight. She pushed that aside, looking over at Stu with urgency as the metal began slithering over her upper body.

This level of usage makes Delilah very aggressive. After two posts, her attacks become incredibly reckless and fierce. She will resort to unorthodox methods and reacts to things purely on instinct and will become a hazard to people fighting alongside her. Maximum coverage coats 77% of the body at any given time (minimal protection) and will definitely hurt opponents if contacted. Maximum coverage (minimal protection) prevents 55%of damage to a specifically defined area (up to 20% of body coverage) and will definitely hurt opponents if contacted with force. Qi can only be moved from spots on Delilah’s body once per post. When hit, a clang noise can be heard on contact and a vibration may travel up the limb. Concentration of armour is more dense than in Mildly Dangerous mode and is almost impossible to break or penetrate. Dangerous mode armour can permeate from the skin down through the muscle and through the bone. At this point, the areas that are affected by Delilah’s Qi will gain a metallic coating.

"As soon as you hear the wood crack, take Talon and Nigel and get out of here. I'll bring the rest of it down." she would offer him a reassuring smile if he protested, her mind completely at ease, more than sure that this would work. "I'll be fine. I'll be right behind you."

Once Stu and her men had made enough headway against the thick wood, Delilah would haul back her metal coated fist and slam it against the steel as hard as she could. The metal would ring out and a vibration traveled up her limb as she did so. Wincing slightly, she pulled back; there was now a sizable dent in the steel. Gritting her teeth, she slammed her fists into the metal three more times. The building above them groaned desperately, and beside her she could hear the men's pillar begin to splinter and crack.

"Get out of here!" She hollered at them as she held the beam in place, preventing it from crumpling further. Already the building was starting to list to one side. If Stu refused to leave Delilah, Nigel and Talon would grab him tightly and haul him out of there with great haste and would not stop trying until they succeeded.

Once they were gone, Delilah would look back at the large indentation her fists had made within the beam and she smiled crookedly.

Not the first time I brought a building down around my head.

She threw the next punch with all the force her enhanced body could muster and the steel beam folded in half with a screech and a low creak as it started to tilt rapidly to the side. Delilah spun on her heel and bolted in the other direction, launching herself up and crashing through the window and into the central corridor as the building toppled in the opposite direction. She had to roll rapidly to carry forward the momentum of her leap, but came up without a scratch, thanks to her Qi.

She'd jog back over to where Stu and her men were, looking over her shoulder to see the results of Marcus' work, if there were any. "It's done," she would say with a huff into the ear piece, "When you have a moment, sir, I have an idea to make the most out of the killing-lane." Until then, Delilah would return to the fray until she had orders that indicated otherwise.[/size]

[Stu Pott]

Her face...

His insides roiled, his eyes glassing over even though it would take serious inspection to see it. The bruise on her face was small, but it would develop into a real shiner. His anger, however, had already reached its limit.

The voice coming over the speakers went entirely over his head. He didn't care who he was killing, his sword lashing out with wild abandon at the remaining enemies even as Del's voice finally shook him from his bloodletting.

He nodded at the command from Unfettered, and launched himself forwards, tackling the door of the building they needed to get into, throwing all his weight into it, ripping it from its hinges and sending it careening into the building. Inside, they got to work.

Del pointed to a wooden column, and Stu nodded again, his fury boiling. He let out a deep breathe, and focussed all of his anger and pain into a single flame that existed within his mind. It craved these emotions, and his mind grew placid in their absence. However, the flame was kindled into a bonfire, and though his outside grew extremely blank, his eyes were wicked gems, black fire held within the two sockets of his head. He lashed out with his sword, a slice that came down from high right to low left, severing the wooden support in one quick strike. His sword came up again and made a mirror cut, causing two huge chunks of the support pillar to go. He gave a quick glance to Del even as she yelled to get out.

He round housed the pillar with his foot, offsetting the precipice it stood on, and then boogied on out. The building shuddered, and collapsed. He coughed heavily, his face still relatively serene. He didn't move, however, until he saw Del come out. He rushed over to embrace her, not wanting to let go, but he kept it minimal.

"Not again. Please."

He turned back towards the center lane of approach, and began stalking forward. His pace was slow, and menacing, his sword held out, sheathed in blood, his own arm coated to the elbow, his body caked in dust. He wasn't about to let Barker off easy. His army would pay the price.

[Marcus Prasad]

As the fires began to die down, Marcus Gritted his teeth as he watched the second wave move blithingly onwards into thier own destruction. Barkers soldiers were barely making a dent in the Crows forces as it was. It made him wonder why they haven't just shattered and run.

In fact, it made Marcus wonder why Barker would send such an inferior force to begin with. Something wasn't adding up here. Having dismounted in the heart of Barkers Leftmost Battle group, The Wolfpack formed a circle facing outwards and began to shred into the Enemy soldiers sending bodies and body parts flying in all directions. Marcus weilded his Stop sign with basic swipes, the metal nearly bent completely as he either sent people flying away, or nearly sliced them in half using the tip like a battle axe head.

If they could just get this flank to break......Even if it took rending them down to half thier original strength or less.

Without warning, a booming voice would make itself heard above the roaring crowd. Marcus would have his answers. The people he was fighting and maiming were prisoners?
That.....that was INSULTING! They weren't his little executioners and they sure as hell werent going to be torn down by some half starved rejects! Still running on fight mode, Marcus pushed this new information into the back of his head as he continued to swing and strike.

"Marcus, do you read? We need the Eastern most building to come down on the EAST FACING SIDE to funnel their forces through the centre. If you could lend us a hand, it would be very appreciated."

With a jolt of surprise and confusion, Marcus keyed his mic.
"And how the hell do you expect me to do that? With my Bare Ha-."
It hit him right between the eyes. The juiced up feeling he had, the Power thrumming through him and the others, Already he felt like he could rip a bus in half, why not a building?
"-Know what? I'll have it done in a jiffy!"
He replied with a newfound zeal before keying up his wolves.
"Alright pups! The fires died down, break through to our front line and reinforce!"

Picking out Bucket from the scrum, Marcus grabbed the big Carribean man by the shoulder and pulled him close.
"You're Sledge. Swap me."
And before he could reply, Marcus tossed the stop sign towards Bucket, who ended up tossing his hammer at Marcus in surprise before catching the rent pole.

"Wha' about you bruddah?"

"Don't Worry about me! I'm just gonna go re-arrange some architecture!"
And how! As the Wolfpack mounted back up, Marcus sped away through the crowd, towards his target building which looked like a ramshackle clusterfuck of ruins covered in sheetmetal like a carcass with a tarp draped over it. Wielding Buckets Sledghammer with one hand, Marcus throttled Lady up and sped forward and THROUGH the buildings wall.

Now Marcus wasen't a fancy pants engineer like other members of the crow, but he had a smart enough head on his shoulders to know what was a good idea to knock down and what wasn't so with passing swipes, he began to cleave through the support pillars on the ground floor, causing the building to wobble and lean towards the eastern side like Delilah requested. As the building began to topple, Marcus would once again burst through another wall and back out onto the street to watch his handywork with a giant shit eating grin.

"Done!"
He would chirp into his Mic on Delilahs channel.
"Lemme know if you need anything else knocked down, huh!"
It was about then that Marcus realized that he found himself in the Center lane, staring down the back end of the Middle battleforce.

"WELP! BACK TO WORK I GUESS!"
He roared with almost glee as his aggression went up another notch, pouncing on the center rearline like a wolf onto a wounded deer.
If these truely were prisoners, then they were either drugged up to all hell, were blackmailed into being here or even both for all he knew.

Later on he would hate himself for this. Later on. Right now he had a job to do. A Job made easier as he hid himself behind his bloodlust. Yes, just hide, sink deep. Let the beast inside handle the rest.

(That looks like everyone I think. No time limit, take as long as you guys need. Thank you Delilah for the summary.)

Its like a game of adults pushing down infants who only just learned to walk, the crows are otherwise easily dispatching every enemy they come accross. The buildings successfully fall from the east and west to create a funnel, that most still dont see due to the dust and dabree filling the air. Alot of the enemies are running into the rubble of the buildings head first and attempting to climb over, while most are actually funneled through the middle.

Kiyoshi Dispatches the five Captains with his tricky sword style, leaving him basically standing alone with chopped up little bits of Barker soldiers around him. Crows still have little to no casualties, if not one or two people simply fatigued and pulling back.

Unfettered on the other hand is looking at the young man with the umbrella, who has a stoic expression, an almost sad one even. He closes the umbrella and leans it against some rubble before looking to Unfettered.

"I am Tristan."

He speaks slowly almost as if it pains him to do so. Tristan begins walking towards Unfettered, the only sign of his intent to fight would be the fact his shoulders looked rather stiff.

Overconfidence
~Not Out of the Woods~

The radio was filled with chatter. The screams of Barker’s men filled the background as metal and skin and flesh clashed, the fire finally dying down, premature cremations. Reports were going on of the success to the felling of the buildings, leaving only the central rode pathway a clear way for the rest of the Barker’s troops to traverse through. Where only superiority in troop quality mattered. While this would intensify the pressure on Kiyoshi and his unit, the initial shock would hopefully be enough to startle Barker’s throw-away soldiers.

Further reports of Kiyoshi’s success versus the five captains would string along the radio, keeping the Militia unit informed, who in turn, with “Unfettered” faced with a certain individual behind him… kept the units to hold their position.

The areas where the buildings had crashed down on would blow dust and fire up into the air from unused gas lines, fungus from disrepair, with patches of them catching on fire from the earlier explosion. The Militia would relay to the forces to not traverse the rough terrain, but rather to keep Barker’s men on the offense. If any of Barker’s remaining men from the current wave attempted to travel over the ruined buildings, it would certainly be hazardous.

Tai stood next to Dora, his back arched forward with a steel pipe out. Delilah and Stu’s units were doing a fine job, leaving the Militia to otherwise rest as a secondary reserve unit. However, none of Militia were relaxed, keeping a three-sixty guard thirty feet north of “Unfettered,” who still gripped his “Ambition” readily in his hands.

"I am Tristan."

The German stood his ground, watching Tristan march in him. But then began moving semi-circle about to the right, to Tristan’s left. He held himself aloft, his joints loose, ready to counter-strike… or to continue walking casually. If “Unfettered” was surprised at this man’s cooperative disposition, or was curious at the stiff man’s shoulders… he did not show it.

”Ich am ‘Unfettered,’ Zero of Crows, Leader of Militia. Why have du come?”

In the distance, “Green” would be heard, issuing orders on the radio, while playing with a knife expertly in his other hand, staring back and forth from “Unfettered” to the front lines.

*”This is ‘Green,’ over. Well done on your successes, over. Delilah, ‘Unfettered’s’ orders extend to your unit and Stu’s unit to work on the new flanks of Kiyoshi, behind the ruins of the buildings, over. Create a semi-circle inward on the next wave to allow Barker’s men to charge into our “U” formation so we can encapsulate them, over. Do not surround them, I repeat, do not surround them, over.”*

*”The terrain of the building walls should be mostly be impassable, but in the chancehood of elite Barker troops being capable of crossing the collapsed buildings, fall back to Kiyoshi’s rear flanks, over. Kiyoshi cannot be allowed to fall, over.”*

*”Right-Flank forces, Jazz, your men are to continue guarding the right flank, over. Be prepared to charge westward to reinforce the vanguard, over.”*

*”Rear Unit Minute Men: Begin taking the salvaged equipment and injured men and begin transporting them behind the lines of retreat to Safehouse “N,” over. Do not engage in combat, over!”*

*”Marcus, your men are to drive behind Kiyoshi’s unit and to keep yourselves on standby, over. We want your Wolf Pack fresh and ready to relieve Kiyoshi’s unit in the next five minutes, over.”*

*”Kiyoshi, ‘Unfettered’ recommend that you begin a gradual retreat backwards thirty paces in exactly five minutes to get a reprieve from immediate combat, over. We need to see how Barker will react next, over.”*

The expenditure of men and energy in this otherwise small time frame that encapsulated all of these occurrences was highly favorable to the Crows… however, “Unfettered’s” continuing orders of the situation, in spite of his lack of presence on the radio continued to pour in. Rather than pressing with aggression and pressing the advantage, the forces of Crows were to be conducted with a consistent line of defense that was cold and unrelenting… After all, it remained to be seen exactly how many more tricks Barker had up his sleeve.

...However, not even Militia knew of "Unfettered's" trump card, who remained patient and---

OOC: Nothing much to summarize, just a perpetuation of the last round, except with inclusion of the success of the building’s collapses and creation of a chokepoint. I’ll make note of any troop count decreases in the next post, if necessary for the Crows/Militia.

-Right Flank Forces are on standby.

-The creation of a “U” formation at the Vanguard’s new chokepoint has been established to establish a larger damage-per-second threat to potential future incoming Barker wave charges.

-Militia unit is on standby, relaying orders while Kiyoshi is in the fray.

-“Unfettered” is dealing with Tristan but is not initiating a first strike in the possibility of diplomacy.

-The Rear Guard’s Minute Men have been ordered to begin a line of safe retreat for any/all injured/dying/dead Crows and salvaged equipment that is currently unusable for the current fight.

-Delilah’s and Stu’s unit have been ordered to be vigilant, in the case of Barker’s forces still attempting to traverse the destroyed buildings, to fall back to a more defensible formation, guarding Kiyoshi’s rear flanks, so that Kiyoshi’s unit can retreat more safely and the front lines can be stretched accordingly.

-Marcus and Kiyoshi are being prepped to have Marcus replace Kiyoshi’s vanguard on the frontlines to keep all the units fresh, and in anticipation for Barker’s next move.

[Delilah A. Black]

Orders came in and Delilah let a shoulder rise and fall quickly into a shrug. Boss was busy and that was that. Though the main idea wasn't too far off from her own. It was a pleasure to hear "Green"'s voice. She didn't see the old crew anywhere near as often as she should...she could only hope she would get the chance. Turning her head, she saw Stu already striding into the center.

"Roger, 'Green'. Moving into position. Over," she turned her head to look at Talon and Nigel and hand gestures started flying, a rapid series of complicated, totally silent instructions that the two men completely understood.

One of you on each side. Stay alert. Hold the line. Go.

With curt nods, the two big men took off, Talon drawing the hatchets from his back and Nigel readying his tonfa, heading right and left respectively to help reduce traffic over the rubble. As ordered, Delilah would hang back with Stu, holding the line at Kiyoshi's rear flank where he could double back and let Marcus and the rest of them take over.

Delilah wouldn't bother to draw her knives, not unless she needed them. Her Qi was still active, and right now, her hands were deadlier than any of her blades. Dancing blue eyes flickered over to Stu and a dry smile stretched her lips.

"You ready?"

"As I've ever been, Twist."

He gripped the bloody blade in his right, his left hand running through his hair, leaving his face and hair a bloody streak. His face split as he realized what he did, and he let loose a large guffaw.

"C'mon guys... let's have some fun."

[Marcus Prasad]

Marcus nodded his head when he heard his new orders. It was a pleasent surprise to hear Green's voice again. How long had it been since last he saw the little man in the fedora?
"Affermative Wilco."
Marcus would respond before switching frequencies.

"Fenris to Pack. We've bloodied the fuck out of them. Pull back behind the line, Lick your wounds and get ready to relieve Zero Akechi's unit the second we get the go. You guys've made me fucking Proud this day. Keep it up!"

On the other side of the battlefield, Marcus heard a raucous set of howling going on. Joining his voice to thiers, Marcus and the rest of the wolves would disengage and begin driving back towards the Crow Line. Once he regrouped with the rest of his pack, Doc and he would begin tending to whatever wounds the wolves would have.

Tristan would allow "Unfettered" to walk his semi-circle, so in turn Tristan would do the same, no change to facial expression, except for his eyes to wander in a semi shy slightly in closed aura.

All seems quiet on the battle field, as Barkers forces begin to retreat or whats left of them.

The streets were indeed quiet. So quiet that the voices aboveground could easily be heard below.

Vincent's nerves sprang into red alert at that very last thing he heard. He suddenly hunched forward in the dark to get to his feet but a cold, unyielding hand landed on his shoulder and stopped him. He twisted back to glare at Vespyr with furiously wide eyes. His jaw dropped in silence as she gravely shook her head at him. Her violet eyes were just as wide, just as enraged, but she dug her claws against his shoulder with strict warning.

Not. Yet.

I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD--

Vincent sat down again.

Prepatory Orders

Silence. Just the rumbling of men's feet as Barker's forces were routing. The German continued to circle about, noticing the way how Tristan was quickly following suit... further confirming his---

"Darc wants me to kill you."

---the German continued semi-circling to Tristan's left, his own right. "Unfettered's gaze did not flicker. His "Ambition" weighted heavily at his right side, gripped tightly in his gauntleted right hand. His left hand, however, went up in a fist, his signal to "Green" as he spoke.

"If you are not bound, then Ich would have du leave. Otherwise..."

"Unfettered's" "Ambition's" blade was turned upward, about a foot from his his his left hand about ready to grasp the hilt at the bottom of it in a flash to redirect it.

...Giving the man the first move or at his own leave, the motion to retreat.

...A sewer grate right between the two of them.

The Militia kept their all-around visual on the area, with Roger patting "Green" at the shoulder, pointing at "unfettered's" held up fist. "Green" would stare, before rapidly barking the prompted orders.

*"Delilah's unit, do not pursue! Remain on standby, in formation."*

*"Stu's unit, do not pursue! Remain on standby, in formation."*

*"Wolf Pack, please relieve the Vanguard, I repeat, Kiyoshi Akechi, you are clear for relief."*

*"Rear Guard, continue extraction of wounded and scavenged supplies. We're finishing this operation nice and clean!"*

..."Green" reached into his pants pocket, pulling out a sealed envelope. He looked back at "Unfettered" who was still semi-circling about his would-be opponent and quickly looked at the letter's instructions. Confirming them for himself, "Green" tore open the letter and read the message. Almost immediatly, he crackled on the re-designed bluetooth again, though this time... seemingly to no one in particular.

*"Um... It is your show. I repeat, It is your show."*

With that, Kiyoshi's force would begin to retreat to the back lines, where the injured were to both rest... and to guard the Crow's line of retreat as the mustered Police, Military, and civillian forces would begin to relieve the Crows, the soldier's wounds being tended to. Still, "Green" and a few others of Militia looked back at "Unfettered."

"Numerical superiority is not our strength. Quality and tactics are ours. Ich vould bet on a Crow against a Barker dog any day.

"Zat said, das monsters zat Barker have can be worth a hundred men, several hundred. Taking such individuals down with army strength alone vould come at great cost of our already vastly smaller quantity. Zat ist vy our own juggernauts: Kiyoshi, Delilah, Stu, Marcus... must stay fresh. For only such monstrous individuals can bring down das stakes to quality und tactics, while preserving our numbers.

"Ve are not allowed das indulgence of showing weakness, for even a moment."

...As they hoped their commander knew what he was doing.

MEANWHILE, UNDERGROUND:

*"Um... It is your show. I repeat, It is your show."*

The cantankerous old German stood up in the underground pipe. He stared off at them, holding out his arm.

"It ist mein show, now. Und your Rogues have center stage," he growled to Vespyr.

"Can your Rogues outrun das Barker soldiers? Total annihlation ist vat ve need."

...After all, destruction of Barker's human resources would mean that much less human life that Barker could create more experiments with.

"Ich vant a group to outrun zem und cut zem off. Das less people, das better. Das moment zat Reinforcements are spotted, Ich want zat unit to begin retreat immediatly to our fallback position.

"Vespyr, Vincent... Ich vant du two und your elite unit posted underneath 'Unfettered's' position.

"Let's go, people, ve are ending today on a total victory."

Eerie quiet still pervaded the battlefield as Barker's ranks began to retreat, leaving Tristan and "Unfettered center-stage on the battlefield. An ambiguous order was given but nothing seemed to happen.

Some sort of bluff?

Then, in the surrounding streets, every manhole seemed to slide away in unison. As Barker's remaining soldiers made their escape, they would find themselves seized by the ankles and dragged down into the darkness. Defenseless in the pitch black depths, they would never see the light again. Within moments, blood-curdling screams would begin to echo in the underground tunnels as the unwitting prey were savagely stabbed to death by invisible hands.

Mere seconds after the first wave of snatched soldiers slipped out of sight, bodies would begin to re-emerge from the manholes with startling swiftness, but not the same ones that had disappeared only moments ago; these soldiers were cloaked in black, their faces smeared with fresh blood, their stained hands gripping steel spears and fierce knives. The sudden swarm charged at Barker's men like rabid hunting dogs, pitching their heavy spears to impale their prey from afar, pouncing on the unlucky troops to slit their throats only to leap up again a moment later to dive into the nearest manhole, vanishing as suddenly as they had appeared. Any single one of Barker's boys left alive would be chased down and slain and his assailant would be nowhere in sight by the time the body hit the ground. As fewer and fewer of the enemy soldiers still stood, fewer and fewer of the rogue troops would be seen on the battlefield, until there was not a single living thing moving in the street.

Any wounded Rogue would be pitilessly dragged back down into the tunnels rather than left to die, and should any of them have been slain within that minute of violence, their bodies would disappear from the street as well.

As quickly as it began, it would be over. The manholes were slid back into place and silence ensued again, just as before.

What Rogues?

. . . Meanwhile . . .

The echoes of screams in the tunnels had Vespyr itching to get blood on her own hands, but she remained where she was as her men scurried past her in the darkness, dragging corpses along, filling the tunnels with the sweet reek of death.

Her hand still rested on Vincent's shoulder, assuringly. Her cold gaze flicked over to him every so often, seeing that he hadn't changed, his eyes still tightly shut and his teeth gritted.

She panned her violet stare over to the other grave faces around her, barely visible in the shadows. Jaq was crouched across from her, looking a little grim. His yellow stare was fixed to the ceiling. He hadn't spoken a word since the call to arms about an hour or two ago, but then again, the foreigner rarely spoke and Vespyr didn't find herself concerned with what was on his mind. As always, she could have cared less.

Glancing at her left flank, where Leech stood a few paces away, the man's red eyes staring off into the dark distance with a twinge of aggravation. Jealousy, perhaps. Vespyr told him to stay put in case he was needed here, but she could tell he'd rather be taking part in the more immediate action. He glanced down at her and grinned, a hopeful look. She glared at him emotionlessly until he looked away again, looking none-too-pleased.

Vespyr sighed impatiently and turned her attention a little ways down the tunnel, where the small silhouette of Ari was crouched over someone who'd apparently got himself struck upside the head or something. She wondered how many had been wounded, but didn't really care. Ari was shaking a little bit though, as he kept dipping his hands into a pail of water to splash it on his patient's face. The Rogue healer's power had only very recently been discovered and it was now being used at the teen's expense, as it severely fatigued him to use it. Vespyr wondered if she could just tie him up and throw him in a bathtub one day and keep him there permanently, how that would work out.

Clenching her teeth a little, Vespyr faced forward again and stared at nothing. She squeezed Vincent's shoulder again reassuringly, with no response.

Tristan keeps the almost pained expression on his face.

"I cannot. Darc said.. I don't have to hold back.... Against you."

And with that Tristan would begin walking towards "Unfettered" instead of the circling business, he seemed to care nothing for the blade at which was held in a ready combat stance.

Underground one would notice his steps somehow became heavier as the tunnel began to crack as he walked, though nothing structural just superficial damage. Still something very heavy would have to be doing that.
